Abstract

Schizophrenia is the main problem of mental disorder in the world. Most of patients that enter the psychiatric hospital suffer from schizophrenia (85% with schizophrenia). Violent act upon the schizophrenia patients is in line, the rate of nursing diagnose patients who suffer from violent act is the largest number on patient with mental disorder. There are various therapy activities of energy distribution group developed and researched; among them are with gymnastics medium. There are still few review studies on the effects of aerobics gymnastics and poco-poco gymnastics physical energy distribution on schizophrenia patients in reducing the rate of violent act. The objective of the systematic review is to evaluate the effects of aerobics gymnastics and poco-poco gymnastics physical energy distribution on schizophrenia patients in reducing the rate of violent act. Literature searching is conducted on Google Scholar. The study is published in Bahasa Indonesia. There are 578,000 articles found, however only 3 studies fulfill the search criteria. The result of this review shows that the therapy group activity of aerobics gymnastics and poco-poco gymnastics can reduce the rate of violent act. It improves the score of aggression self-control. This intervention can be conducted easily and inexpensively on the institutions providing mental health services.

Abstract

Prevent and infection control nurses are a professional and practitioner in hospitals and other health facilities. Based on the health ministry, every hospital must prevent transmission of infection. Nurse adherence is an intervention to separate medical garbage exactly. This research is quantitative correlational research aimed at analyzing correlation supervision of infection prevention control nurses with adherence managing medical and non-medical waste in Padang Lawas Hospital year 2018 with samples was 37 respondents. The results of the research obtained that 28.6% or 18 respondents of supervision performed by IPCN nurses were moderate and 18.9% or 7 respondents of supervision performed by IPCN nurses were less good. Nurses adherence good medical and nonmedical waste management was 22 respondents (59.5%). It was concluded that any correlation between the infection Prevention Control Nurse supervision and nurse adherence medical and nonmedical waste management (p value = 0.001). it is recommended that IPCN nurses provide more supervision until the low infection rate in hospitals.

Abstract

Hand washing is a intervention which as not important by nurses, but it is a really important thing to prevent nosocomial infection in hospital. Supervision assumed with relationship with intervention by nurses for hand washing. The research applied correlation analytic design with cross sectional approach. The location of the research was Siloam Dhirga Surya Hospital Medan. The research population were 77 respondents, taken by using total sampling technique. Data analysis with univariate and bivariate methods and using chi-square test with significant level 95% (α = 0.05). The results showed that 71.4% of supervision performed by ward heads was good, 28.6% of supervision performed by ward heads was less good. Nurses performed good hand washing (66.2%), and nurses performed less good hand washing (33.8%). It was concluded that any correlation between the ward heads’ supervision and nurses’ hand washing (p value=0.000). More good supervision by ward head and then more good nurses performed hand washing. It is recommended that the hospital management improve nurse behavior in performing hand washing to prevent from nosocomial infection.

Abstract

As a technology development, human make a good skill to create mechanic equipment for easier human life. Relationship human with new mechanic equipment and easy to use was not separate, that thing called gadget. This research aim is to know relationship gadget using to tennagers social interaction pattern. This research used analysis methods with sample part of population with total sampling was 35 respondents. This research was collected in di SMP Negeri I Kecamatan Sitoluori. Based on analysis data was resulted value p=0.00, which p< α, so any relationship frequency of gadget using to tennagers social interaction pattern. Based on analysis data was resulted value p=0.00, which p< α, so any relationship facility of gadget using to tennagers social interaction pattern. Recommendation for tennagers to make leisure time much more with face to face around social environmental and add activities in outside school hour. Using gadget in frequently can make bad influence for social relationship and disturb health status.

Abstract

The first aid is a form of temporary relief to the victim as quickly and accurately as possible before obtaining more competent medical help to prevent the victim from becoming more severe with the aim of sustaining life, reducing disability numbers and providing a sense of security and comfort to the victim. Based on a preliminary survey, students of Scout members at SMA Pencawan did not know about first aid because they had never received health education about first aid. The purpose of the study is, to determine the effect of first aid health education to the knowledge of students / scout members about first aid in SMA Pencawan Medan. The population in the study were 30 scout members. The sampling technique in this study is the total sampling, where the number of samples is the same as the population. The research design is pre experiment using one-group pre-post test design. The data collection tool uses SAP and questionnaires. Data analysis using wilcoxon test, got pretest value of 14,17 and posttest 26,40 with p value = 0,000 (p <0,05). This research indicates that there is an influence of health education to the knowledge of students of Scout members in SMA Pencawan Medan. It is hoped that the school will invite the student members to play a role in doing first aid to handle cases of injuries in the school and community environment.

Abstract

Vaginal discharge is a problem that most women complain about. Besides being very disturbing, vaginal discharge also has many influences, both on health and harmony. Vaginal discharge is not always a disease because there is also a normal vaginal discharge. The research method used is analytic observational with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all young women in Environment III Kelurahan Baru Ladang Bambu as many as 125 people. The sample is 56 people, with simple random sampling technique. The results showed that 91.1% had vaginal discharge, and 8.9% had no vaginal discharge. Of the 10 young women who had good knowledge the majority experienced vaginal discharge 100%, of the 30 young women who had sufficient knowledge the majority experienced vaginal discharge 86, 7% and out of 16 young women who had less knowledge, the majority experienced vaginal discharge, 93.8%. Obtained p value = 0.399 where p value 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is no relationship between the knowledge of adolescent girls about vulvar hygiene with the occurrence of vaginal discharge. It is hoped that health workers will provide counseling about reproductive health so that young women's knowledge about reproductive health is increasing, especially about vulvar hygiene and vaginal discharge.

Abstract

Providing complementary foods for breast milk should be given regularly. The thickness of the food and the amount must be adjusted to the skills and readiness of the baby in receiving food. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of early complementary feeding (MP-ASI) to the growth of infants 0-6 months at the Jannah Clinic in 2019. This research method used analytical observation with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all mothers who had babies 0-6 months at Jannah Clinic as many as 35 people. The sampling technique was total sampling, namely all mothers who had babies 0-6 months at the Jannah Clinic as many as 35 people. The results of the analysis showed that from 35 mothers who had babies 0-1 years, the majority of babies aged 6 months were 12 people (35%) and a minority of babies aged 2 months was 1 person (3%). Distribution based on the majority of abnormal weight gain as many as 20 people (57%). Distribution based on complementary feeding (MP-ASI) the majority on time as many as 19 people (54%). The results of the Chi-Square test obtained a value of = 0.000, this means that the p-value is smaller than (0.05), which means that there is a relationship between early complementary feeding (MP-ASI) on the growth of infants 0-6 months. Abstract

Premenstrual syndrome is a combination of changes in psychological and physical symptoms that occurs in the luteum phase of menstruation and begins almost immediately before menstruation. The research method is analytic observational with a cross sectional approach. The population of this study were all 174 young women. Sampling by means of a random sample of 37 people. The results of the statistical test used were the chi-squer statistical test =0.05. The results of the analysis showed that from 37 respondents there were 13 people (35.1%) who had good knowledge and 13 people who had sufficient knowledge the majority did not experience premenstrual syndrome by 8 people (61.5%) and 17 people who had a negative attitude and who experienced premenstrual syndrome. 17 people (100%), the results of the chi-square statistic obtained a knowledge value of p=0.04 and an attitude value of p=0.00< =0, 05 which means there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes of young women about reproductive health with premenstrual syndrome. It is hoped that young women will actively seek information about reproductive health so that young women know how to prevent and treat premenstrual syndrome.

The purpose of this research is to provide useful information and input for the community or mothers of 3-month injectable family planning injections, and to provide services and counseling, especially to 3-month injection family planning acceptors in dealing with weight gain in Mangga Village, Medan Tuntungan District. Increasing the knowledge of mothers of 3-month injection KB acceptors about the use of KB which can increase weight gain in Mangga Village, Medan Tuntunga Subdistrict. the type and form of activity of this activity is as a provision of counseling materials to mothers of 3-month injection KB acceptors. teach mothers who accept 3 months of injectable family planning how to prevent weight gain during the use of 3 months of injectable family planning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health education by providing counseling materials on vulvar hygiene (genital hygiene) to prevent the occurrence of vaginal discharge in adolescent girls on the knowledge of female students / adolescent girls in the Ladang Bambu Village, Medan Tuntungan District. And the activities carried out to increase students' knowledge about maintaining genital hygiene (vulva hygiene) in the Ladang Bambu Village, Medan Tuntungan Subdistrict. Increase the influence of health education knowledge by teaching young women how to clean the genitalia properly, teaching young women to change underwear at least 2 times. in the Ladang Bambu Village, Medan Tuntungan District.
