Abstract

Pada umumnya permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh berbagai sekolah khususnya di Provinsi Papua Barat, Indonesia yaitu rendahnya keterampilan dan kemampuan literasi informasi oleh peserta didik. Sebagian besar sekolah belum dilengkapi dengan sarana dan prasarana yang memadai untuk menunjang pelaksanaan percobaan. Salah satu solusi yang dilakukan melalui kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) yaitu menyediakan e-learning yang terdiri dari media laboratorium virtual untuk memudahkan peserta didik memahami pelajaran. Target utama PKM ini yaitu efektifnya proses pembelajaran dan timbulnya motivasi serta kemampuan guru-guru dalam memanfaatkan media e-learning sebagai salah satu solusi belajar efektif bagi peserta didik. Mitra sasaran yaitu SMA Santo Paulus Manokwari. Metode yang dilakukan dalam pelaksanaan PKM ini yaitu berupa pengembangan media e-learning untuk digunakan di sekolah serta pendampingan dan pembimbingan penggunaannya kepada peserta didik dan guru-guru. Pada bagian akhir pelaksanaan kegiatan, dilakukan evaluasi melalui wawancara dan pembagian instrumen penilaian respon berupa angket kepada peserta didik dan guru-guru untuk mengetahui tanggapan mereka terhadap kegiatan PKM yang dilakukan mengenai penggunaan e-learning dan laboratorium virtual. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu pemodelan Rasch dengan menggunakan program aplikasi Winstep. Hasil analisis Rasch untuk setiap pengukuran respon peserta didik dan guru-guru yaitu diperoleh nilai person measure masing-masing +1,30 dan +2,09 atau lebih besar dari 0,00 logit yang menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta didik dan guru-guru setuju dan antusias. Guru-guru memberikan respon dapat menerapkan e-learning dalam pembelajaran. Begitu pula dengan peserta didik, mereka dapat belajar melalui e-learning meskipun masih perlu dilakukan pendampingan secara berkelanjutan. In general, the problems faced by various schools, especially in West Papua Province, Indonesia, are the low skills and abilities of information literacy by students. Most schools are not yet equipped with adequate facilities and infrastructure to support the implementation of experiments. One of the solutions is through the Community Partnership Program (CPP), which is to provide e-learning consisting of virtual laboratory media to make it easier for students to understand lessons. The main target of this CPP is the effectiveness of the learning process and the emergence of motivation and the ability of teachers to use e-learning media as an effective learning solution for students. The target partner is SMA Santo Paulus Manokwari. The method used in implementing this CPP is in the form of developing e-learning media for use in schools as well as mentoring and guiding its use for students and teachers. At the end of the activity implementation, an evaluation was carried out through interviews and distribution of response assessment instruments in the form of questionnaires to students and teachers to find out their responses to CPP activities carried out regarding the use of e-learning and virtual laboratories. The analysis technique used is Rasch modelling using the Winstep application program. The results of the Rasch analysis for each measurement of the response of students and teachers, namely the person measure values obtained respectively +1.30 and +2.09 or greater than 0.00 logit, which shows that most students and teachers agree, and enthusiastic. The teachers gave a response to be able to apply e-learning in learning. Likewise, with students, they can learn through e-learning even though there is still a need for ongoing assistance.

Abstract

Kompleksitas permasalahan pembelajaran 4.0 dapat diatasi dengan penggunaan teknologi. Akan tetapi, tidak semua guru mahir memanfaatkan teknologi untuk membantu proses pembelajaran. Untuk itu, program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan pelatihan kepada guru-guru di SMA Negeri 4 Palangka Raya tentang blended learning dan aplikasi-aplikasi pendukungnya. Metode yang diberikan adalah ceramah, tanya jawab, tutorial, dan demonstrasi. Konsep blended learning dan variasi model terapannya dikenalkan kepada para peserta pelatihan. Kemudian, aplikasi cisco webex dan mentimeter dilatihkan penggunaannya melalui tutorial dan demonstrasi sebagai aplikasi pendukung blended learning. Cisco webex meeting dapat digunakan guru untuk terhubung dengan peserta didik dari jarak jauh melalui video conference, sedangkan mentimeter dapat dimanfaatkan untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Dari pelatihan ini dihasilkan lima Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) yang dikerjakan secara berkelompok oleh peserta pelatihan dengan menerapkan media cisco webex dan mentimeter. Hasil dari pelatihan ini dapat mendorong guru untuk mulai mengaplikasikan teknologi pada pembelajaran agar efektif dan efisien. The problem complexities in learning 4.0 can be solved by using technologies. However, there is a lack of teacher skills in applying technology to enhance the learning process. Therefore, this dedication to society program aims to train teachers in SMAN 4 Palangka Raya about blended learning and its supporting media. The given method was the lecture, question and answer, tutorial, and demonstration. The blended learning concept and its model variations were introduced to trainees. Then, the Cisco Webex meeting and Mentimeter were trained to them by tutorials and demonstrations as supporting media of blended learning. The Cisco Webex meeting can be used by teachers to stay connected to students by video conference, while the Mentimeter can be used to improve students' engagement in the learning process. From this training, five lesson plans were produced in groups by the trainees using cisco Webex and Mentimeter. Hopefully, this training can encourage teachers to start applying technology to learning to be effective and efficient.

Abstract

Scientific works are essays containing scientific ideas that are presented scientifically and use scientific forms and language. Scientific writing brings up scientific problems that are focused on one particular discipline. This article aims to describe the implementation of scientific paper writing training for students in MAN 2 Model Banjarmasin. So that led to the scientific attitude of the writing team. The lecture and assignment methods were carried out during the training from 24 February to 09 March 2020. The results of the service were presented that writing scientific papers, writers must understand the stages of work; first, make ideas in thought. This idea emerged from the reference book, as well as the results of discussions with colleagues. Second, the writer must express his ideas in narrative form (writing). The work process between stages one and two varies greatly for each author. This matter is influenced by experience and habits. However, the second process has an integrated and systemic stage, so that it can provide clarity on the subject of scientific writing for the writer. The next activity is expected to focus on what social themes are relevant to be written in the form of scientific papers.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah memberi penguatan kepada anggota pramuka MTsN 4 Batola agar termotivasi untuk giat berlatih pramuka. Sasaran kegiatan adalah anggota pramuka MTsN 4 Batola Lokal 2 Desa Sungai Kali yang berjumlah 32 orang. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan oleh tim pelaksana bersama dengan guru pembina pramuka. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan tahapan dimulai dari tahap persiapan, tahap sosialisasi dan pemutaran film 5 Elang. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan dengan pemberian materi melalui metode ceramah, demonstrasi (pemutaran film 5 Elang), dan tanya jawab (pemberian kuis). Hasil yang diperoleh adalah bahwa pelaksanaan pengabdian berlangsung dengan lancar. Peserta anggota pramuka dapat menyimak dengan seksama dan mengikuti kegiatan dengan gembira. Kegiatan  pengabdian kepada masyarakat oleh tim pelaksana berhasil mencapai tujuan yaitu anggota pramuka yang memahami pentingnya mengikuti kegiatan pramuka melalui pemaknaan film 5 Elang yang disaksikan bersama-sama.  This service aims to reinforce members of the MTsN 4 Batola scout to be motivated to practise scouting actively. The target activity was 32 scout members of MTsN 4 Batola Local 2 Sungai Kali Village. Service activities are carried out by the implementation team together with the scout coaches. The activity was carried out with stages starting from the preparation stage, the socialization stage and the screening of the 5 Elang movie. The service was carried out by providing material through lectures, demonstrations (screening of the 5 Elang film), and question and answer (giving quizzes). The results obtained are that the implementation of service takes place smoothly. Scout member participants can listen carefully and join in the activity happily. Community service activities by the implementation team succeeded in achieving the goal of scout members who can understand the importance of participating in scouting activities through the interpretation of the 5 Elang movie, which was witnessed together.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman guru tentang implementasi model Double Critical Technology Society (DCTS) pada pembelajaran IPA. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah guru-guru IPA SMP dan SMA yang berada pada wilayah Kabupaten Kapuas Hulu, yang berjumlah 60 orang.  Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, diskusi, dan tanya jawab.  Materi sosialisasi terdiri dari pembelajaran IPA, pembelajaran berbasis konstruktivisme, serta pembelajarn IPA menggunakan model DCTS.  Berdasarkan hasil sosialisasi yang dilaksanakan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman peserta tentang implementasi pembelajarn IPA berbasis Konstruktivisme menggunakan model DCTS. Selain itu kegiatan berjalan lancar dan besarnya antusias peserta terhadap kegiatan ini. Melalui kegiatan sosialisasi ini peserta dapat menggunakan model DCTS sebagai sebuah strategi pembelajaran IPA di kelas.This community service activity aims to increase teachers' understanding of the implementation of the Double Critical Technology Society (DCTS) model in science learning. The target of this activity is the science teachers of SMP and SMA in the Kapuas Hulu district, totalling 60 people. This activity is carried out through lectures, discussions, and questions and answers. The socialization materials consisted of science learning, constructivism-based learning, and science learning using the DCTS model. Based on the results of the socialization carried out, it showed an increase in participants' knowledge and understanding of the implementation of constructivism-based science learning using the DCTS model. Also, the activity ran smoothly, and the participants were enthusiastic about this activity. Through this socialization activity, participants can use the DCTS model as a science learning strategy in the classroom.

Abstract

TK Islam Al-Ghaffar adalah salah satu TK yang berada di Desa Mulyoagung Kecamatan Dau Kabupaten Malang Jawa Timur, terbatasnya APE yang ada disekolah menjadikan permasalahan tersendiri dalam proses belajar mengajar, sehingga siswa kerap kali diajarkan dengan menggunakan buku paket yang telah di sediakan oleh sekolah. Hal ini menyebabkan siswa kurang antusias dalam mempelajari hal baru karena dianggap kurang menarik dan menyenangkan. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan wawasan dan pelatihan pembuatan Busy Book sebagai media pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan topik dan usia anak TK. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah: pertama, Pemberian pengetahuan dan wawasan tentang pentingnya media dan penerapannya dalam proses belajar mengajar. Kedua, pengenalan Busy Book sebagai media pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan dalam kelas, dan yang terakhir workshop pembuatan Busy Book beserta penentuan langkah-langkah pembelajaran dalam kelas. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah guru memiliki wawasan tentang pentingnya media pembelajaran bagi siswa sesuai dengan usianya. Kedua, guru juga mampu membuat dan mengembangkan ide mereka menjadi sebuah kegiatan siswa berdasarkan tema dalam Busy Book. Dari hasil evaluasi pada akhir kegiatan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan abdimas berjalan dengan lancar dan sukses, semua peserta mengikuti kegiatan dengan baik sampai kegiatan berakhir.TK Islam Al-Ghaffar is a school located in Mulyoagung, Dau, Malang, East Java, Indonesia. Limited media is the main problem in the teaching-learning process. Teachers ever use the package book in teaching their students so that the students think that the process of learning was not fun, and they cannot enjoy, were not enthusiastic in learning new things. This community service aimed was to train teachers in making Busy Book as media, and the contents were suited to the topic and the students’ age. The method applied in this community service were; first, introduce the teachers the importance of media in the teaching-learning process. Second, introduce Busy Book as a media in teaching young learners, and the last is a workshop in making Busy Book and the way in teaching. The result of this activity is that the teachers had insight into the importance of learning media based on their age. Besides, teachers were also able to make and develop their ideas into Busy Book or student activities based on a theme. From the results of the evaluation at the end of the activity, it can be concluded that the community service went smoothly and successfully. It can be indicated that all participants followed the whole activity.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk untuk memberikan pelatihan 21st century skill melalui pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling secara terprogram bagi anak-anak kurang beruntung agar mampu mencegah masuknya pengaruh negatif lingkungan urban bagi mereka. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Rumah Singgah milik Yayasan Anak Bangsa Mandiri Banua. Kegiatan ini mempunyai 11 metode terprogram yang dilaksanakan berkesinambungan selama 6 bulan. Tujuh dari sebelas program konseling komunitas telah dilaksanakan secara tatap muka, yaitu: (1) koordinasi program dengan pengelola komunitas; (2) asesmen dan orientasi program; (3) bimbingan klasikal teknik kuis dan teka-teki; (4) pelatihan keterampilan bahasa asing dasar; (5) bimbingan klasikal tema ‘leadership’ dengan Teknik storytelling dan symbolic modeling; (6) bimbingan kelompok tema ‘problem solving’ dengan metode permainan eduaktif; dan (7) konseling kelompok art therapy. Sedangkan 4 sisanya dilaksanakan secara daring karena adanya pemberlakuan aturan social-distancing akibat Pandemi Covid-19, yaitu: (1) bimbingan karier tema cita-cita dan masa depan; (2) konseling individual; (3) gerakan sadar literasi; dan (4) asesmen akhir. Hasil asesmen pada sebelum dan sesudah program menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kecil 21st century skills anak (+7,8 poin). Direkomendasikan agar kegiatan ini dapat terus diterapkan guna memperoleh efek yang lebih baik dalam peningkatan 21st century skills pada anak. Community service activities aim to provide 21st-century skills training through programmatic guidance and counselling services for disadvantaged children to be able to prevent the entry of negative influences on the urban environment for them. The activity held at the Rumah Singgah owned by the Yayasan Anak Bangsa Mandiri Banua. This activity has 11 programmed methods that are carried out continuously for six months. Seven of the eleven community counselling programs have been carried out face-to-face: (1) program coordination with community managers; (2) assessment and orientation of the program; (3) classical guidance on quiz and puzzle techniques; (4) basic foreign language skills training; (5) classical guidance on the theme 'leadership' with storytelling and symbolic modelling techniques; (6) theme group guidance ‘problem solving’ with educational methods; and (7) art therapy group counselling. While the remaining four are carried out online because of the enactment of social-distancing rules due to the Covid-19 Pandemic: (1) career guidance on the themes of ideals and future; (2) individual counselling; (3) literacy conscious movements; and (4) final assessment. The results of the assessment before and after the program showed a small increase in 21st-century children's skills (+7,8 points score). It is recommended that this activity can continue to be applied to obtain a better effect in improving 21st-century skills in children.

Abstract

Upaya untuk memperbaiki dan meningkatkan mutu proses belajar mengajar di kelas harus selalu dilakukan. Salah satu upaya tersebut ialah dengan melaksanakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Oleh karena itu, perlu diadakan pelatihan untuk membimbing guru khususnya peserta MGMP (Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran) Matematika SMA Kota Banjarmasin dalam pembuatan proposal PTK. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman dan mengingat kembali tentang PTK. Subjek dalam pengabdian ini adalah Guru Matematika MGMP Matematika SMA Kota Banjarmasin. Metode yang digunakan yaitu menjelaskan kepada peserta pelatihan mengenai konsep dasar PTK, membimbing peserta membuat draf proposal PTK, mendiskusikan kesulitan dalam pembuatan proposal PTK, membimbing peserta memperbaiki proposal PTK dan menghasilkan proposal PTK yang dapat digunakan untuk penelitian. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat berupa bimbingan pembuatan proposal PTK untuk guru peserta MGMP Matematika SMA Kotamadya Banjarmasin sudah dilaksanakan dengan lancer. Kegiatan ini sangat mendukung peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam rangka meningkatkan produktivitas pendidikan dengan pembuatan proposal PTK. Guru-guru mulai mengingat dan memahami kembali materi PTK dan menghasilkan proposal PTK.Efforts to improve and improve the quality of teaching and to learn in class must always be made. One such effort is to carry out Classroom Action Research (CAR). Therefore, training needs to be held to guide teachers, especially Mathematics MGMP (Subject Teachers' Meeting) participants in Banjarmasin City High School, in making PTK proposals. The purpose of this service is to provide understanding and recall about CAR. The subject of this service is the Mathematics Teacher of Mathematics MGMP in Banjarmasin City High School. The method used is to explain to the trainees about the basic concepts of CAR, guide participants to draft a CAR proposal, discuss the difficulties in making a CAR proposal, guide participants to improve the CAR proposal and produce a CAR action proposal that can be used for research. Community Service Activities in the form of guidance on PTK proposals for teachers participating in the MGMP Mathematics in Banjarmasin Municipality in Banjarmasin have been carried out smoothly. This activity is very supportive of improving the ability of teachers in order to increase educational productivity by making CAR proposals. The teachers begin to remember and re-understand the CAR material and produce a CAR proposal.
