Abstract

Work fatigue is part of a common problem that is often encountered in the workforce. Fatigue in unsolved workers can have a negative effect, both for work and individual workers so that the problem of work fatigue should receive special attention. The physical activities of permanent palm oil work in Kampar, which are all still done manually and are very risky to experience work fatigue. This research is an analytical study that aims to determine the relationship between the characteristics of workers and how they work with work fatigue due to fatigue harvesters conducted by oil palm harvesters in Kampar. There is a relationship between age with work fatigue and between the history of the disease that is harvested by harvesters. From the results of the study it is suggested to those who have oil palm plantations to adjust the number of harvesters by harvesting at different ages of the crop, given the different difficulty levels and burdens of giving money to substitute food and extra pudding as an effort to fulfill workers' nutrition should not be done. Where nutrition is one of the factors that can affect harvesters fatigue.

Abstract

To improve the performance of the pump needs maintenance, system Maintenance is a process carried out to maintain reliability, availability and the ability to maintain equipment or machinery. An effective and efficient maintenance program will support increased production system productivity. But often maintenance programs ignore the actual needs of equipment or machines. To obtain an effective and efficient maintenance program and in accordance with machine requirements, a maintenance center based on reliability, Maintenance Center (RCM) is a risk-based systematic analysis to create an accurate, focused and optimal maintenance method with the aim of achieving optimal reliability. from assets. RCM studies have been carried out on rotary machines, especially pumps, in the oil and gas processing industry. The study was conducted by following the seven steps of RCM, including the determination of the scope of study, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, Logic Tree Analysis and determination of maintenance strategies. Risk analysis based on the risk matrix is arranged through the consensus of all stakeholders. The risk matrix covers occurrences, detection, and the level of risk (severity) in the economic (economy) aspects of health and safety (health & safety), environment (environment). Furthermore, Risk Priority is calculated based on this risk matrix. Number (RPN). Based on the values of RPN and Logic Tree Analysis, a maintenance strategy was prepared for each type of failure mode. This study has also succeeded in establishing a better maintenance strategy for Sump Pit pumps which is then used as the basis for the preparation of a new maintenance program.

Abstract

Saat ini plastik tidak dapat dipisahkan dari kehidupan manusia terutama dalam industri makanan dan minuman. Salah satu metode yang digunakan dalam proses pembuatan produk plastik adalah injection moulding. Injection moulding adalah salah satu teknik pembuatan yang terdiri dari serangkaian proses siklus dan digunakan untuk menghasilkan bahan termoplastik. Pengaruh kombinasi parameter proses berdampak pada hasil produk seperti kuantitas dan kualitas produk, ketidaksesuaian parameter menyebabkan produksi menjadi tidak optimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan waktu siklus dan jaring produk yang optimal pada proses pembuatan tutup botol 180 ml tetapi dengan meminimalkan cacat flash. Metode yang digunakan dalam fase ini adalah ANOVA, dan perhitungan metode taguchi dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak minitab 16. Dari hasil penelitian, kondisi optimal adalah tekanan injeksi kombinasi 1320 bar, kecepatan injeksi 50 mm / s, tekanan holding 300 bar, dan suhu nozzle 255oC menghasilkan nilai waktu siklus 15,72 detik dan netto 3,56 gram. Hasil ini lebih baik daripada pengaturan perusahaan yang menghasilkan waktu siklus 16,66 detik dan masuk dalam kisaran bersih 4 ± 0,5 gram menghasilkan peningkatan produksi 5,97%. Sedangkan dengan kombinasi tekanan injeksi 1280 bar, kecepatan injeksi 50 mm / s, tekanan holding 300 bar, dan suhu nozzle 245oC menghasilkan jumlah cacat flash yang lebih sedikit dibandingkan dengan pengaturan perusahaan yaitu 12 unit dari 80 unit sampel.

Abstract

There has been a breakdown and failure of Swing Drive Wheel Exavator M 322 C is not yet known the exact cause, it is necessary to study scientific and laboratory testing for the event can be clearly known cause, by identifying, inventegasi include systems and procedures for the operation, maintenance, testing laboratory on style and material (macrostruktur, microstruktur), based on data analysis of the causes of damage and failure can be revealed.Visually test shows that the defective object is pinion gear suffered damage types: surface damage (wear / wear and deformation). Furthermore, through testing fraktografi, metallographic, hardness, chemical composition and SEM, then we can determine the factors causing damage to the pinion gear, whether because of metallurgy (material and / or manufacturing), or because of assembly / installation, the factors of operation, or because maintenance factor. The results obtained from these tests can provide recommendations and suggestions were appropriate and safe in the use of materials as well as efforts to prevent damage to the more fatal the following steps - steps appropriate care to anticipate failure event at the Pinion Gear Swing Drive Wheel Exavator M 322 C in particular ,Main cause of failure (wear and tear) on the pinion gear is the fault of operations conducted by the operator, that there has been a shock loads when the operator operate exavator when conducting swing. Shock loads occur due to collisions between the bucket with rocky ground. The incident repeated - again occur so slewing ring bearing experience rocking. Wear and tear experienced by pinion gear starts from wear adhesive (adhesive wear) followed by abrasive wear (abrasive wear). Changes in the condition of wear and tear will cause phase transformation of the material that rotates and rub against each other, it is this which causes the pinion gear wear out.

Abstract

Perencanaan struktur gedung tahan gempa harus di rencanakan menggunakan metode Sistem Rangka Pemikul Momen, dimana Sistem Rangka Pemikul Momen adalah Sistem rangka ruang dalam dimana komponen-komponen struktur dan join-joinnya menahan gaya-gaya yang bekerja melalui aksi lentur, geser dan aksial. Dengan adanya system ini diharapkan suatu bangunan dapat berperilaku daktail yang nantinya akan mentransfer gaya gempa serta membatasi beban gempa yang bekerja pada struktur. Pada penelitian ini penulis ingin meninjau struktur tulangan gedung baru Universitas Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai dengan menggunakan metode Sistem Rangka Pemikul Momen Menengah dan Sistem Rangka Pemikul Momen Khusus yang dihitung berdasarkan SNI 03–2847–2002 dan SNI 1726–2012. Dari hasil perhitungan struktur bangunan metode SRPMK Beban Gempa yang bekerja pada arah x sebesar 46.993 Kg dan arah y sebesar 70.490 Kg ,sedangkan untuk SRPMM Beban Gempa yang bekerja pada arah-x sebesar 75.189 Kg dan arah-y sebesar 112.783 Kg, sehingga Beban gempa yang bekerja pada struktur bangunan metode SRPMK lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan struktur bangunan metode SRPMM, yakni sebesar 1,6%.

Abstract

Semakin meningkatnya jumlah kendaraan yang ada menyebabkan perlunya pengaturan sistem arus lalu lintas pada suatu simpang jalan raya. Simpang jalan akan memunculkan problematik berupa konflik antar kendaraan yang masuk ke simpang. Sistem lampu lalu lintas merupakan salah satu cara yang dianggap paling baik dalam pengaturan simpang untuk memberikan hak jalan bagi pemakai jalan. Masalah yang muncul adalah pada simpang akan menjadi antrian untuk menunggu giliran menggunakan simpang yang juga akan mengakibatkan akan terjadinya tundaan bagi kendaraan masing-masing lengan simpang dengan volume yang berbeda. Survey yang dilakukan pada persimpang jalan HR. Subrantas – Garuda Sakti – Kubang Raya dengan maksud apakah persimpang jalan tersebut sudah menimbulkan kemacetan, antrian, tundaan dan sebagainya serta apakah perlu diadakan lampu pengatur lalu lintas. Dari analisa perhitungan existing (sebelum menggunakan lalu lalu lintas) didapatkan hasil yaitu : kapasitas 4298 smp/jam, derajat kejenuhan 0,780, peluang antrian 25 % - 49 % , tundaan simpang 12,85 det/smp. Sedangkan setelah direncanakan menggunakan lampu lalu lintas didapatkan hasil yaitu : kapasitas 1066 smp/jam (pendekat utara), 1051 smp/jam (pendekat selatan), 1583 smp/jam (pendekat timur), 1441 smp/jam (pendekat barat), derajat kejenuhan 0,470, kendaraan antri total 5,898 (pendekat utara), 8,512 (pendekat selatan), 9,976 (pendekat timur), 9,563 (pendekat barat), tundaan simpang rata-rata 28,753 det/smp.

Abstract

The decreasing of percentage from the patient RSUD XYZ is 5,13% than two years before. The lowest percentage from the visitor is in surgical poly 27,69% but it get increasing than years before to 33,56%. while the satisfying from the patient in this poly is only 40%. In this condition RSUD YZ to make special strategy to get best service of quality for the patient in poly. The method can be used is of SWOT analyze to give new strategy by got from the technic respon of SWOT matrix. This research use 25 variable service that need by patient. The matrix formation of service attribute “the performance speed of nurses in taking measures to patinet” has relative important value 5,163% so it can educations, training and development to nurses for at last 6 month as priority to increase the service. And than best strategy in increase the service in poly is by increasing the nurse skill, do the promotion healthy activity by medical check up packet, also have innovative and special service.

Abstract

The incident on the piston rod that experienced material failure occurred in the avanza 1500cc car. in the use of the car is not yet up to 1 year of use, the car was purchased in October 2015 and in April 2016 has been damaged in the area of the combustion chamber including connecting rod that experienced at the near end of the bing end, caused by many factors, it is necessary to test on the connecting rod to get the cause of the failure that occurred. Analyzes the failure of the connecting rod components by means of hardness testing, metalorgraphy testing and chemical composition testing. connecting rod analyzed is connecting rod car avanza veloz 1500CC. with material from the connecting rod is AISI 4340. from the results of hardness testing obtained an average hardness value of 125.9 VHN. As for the standard of violence on AISI 4340 the minimum value of violence that must be met is 228 VHN. Where the lowest hardness value of the component is 84.7 VHN. In microstructure testing, phases such as ferrite (light-colored), pearlit (dark color) and slightly cementite phase are found. While on testing the chemical composition of carbon (C) element is the lowest element that is equal to 0.23% with composition ratio on AISI 4340 steel with carbon content of 0.38% where viewed from the carbon content, the component belonging to low carbon steel causing failure this is the incompatibility of hardness value, chemical composition with AISI 4340 standard.

Abstract

Workers who work the night shift have a tendency to get stressed and subsequently suffer from fatigue as a clinical symptom. This study aims to formulate an effective strategy of policy to emphasize the reduction in the effect of applying work shifts to the risk of fatigue. Based on the results that the average amount of reactive time for morning shift workers is 0.97 seconds, while for night shift workers is 1.18 seconds. The average amount of blood systole pressure for morning shift workers is 119.22 cm Hg, while for night shift workers is Hg 127.61 cm. The average amount of blood diastole pressure for morning shift workers was 77.44 cm Hg, while for night shift workers it was 82.16 cm Hg. The average heart rate for morning shift workers was 73.93, while for night shift workers it was 76.18. Based on the results of a statistical examination that there is a significant effect on fatigue (p = 0,000), it means that there is a significant relationship between work shifts and stress-causing fatigue (p = 0,000). Therefore, as the proposal of this study and to anticipate the reduction in fatigue, it is important to make improvements and evaluations about the rules of work shifts in a company so that night shift workers can work in safe conditions and rest well after work

Abstract

Kabupaten Kampar merupakan kabupaten yang sedang berkembang. Pertumbuhan penduduk di Kabupaten kampar tepatnya di daerah Tapung telah menyebabkan kekurangan energi listrik, dengan jumlah penduduk sebanyak 403.894 dengan tingkat pertumbuhan penduduk sebesar 1,42% pertahun. Untuk itu perlu adanya pembangunan energi listrik terbarukan khususnya diwilayah pedesaan guna meningkatkan taraf hidup masyarakat pedesaan. Energi terbarukan yang dimaksud dalam hal ini adalah PLTMH. Dimana kapasitas daya yang mampu dihasilkan melebihi 100 kw. Metode yang digunakan dalam perhitungan debit menggunakan metode F.J.Mock. dalam perhitungan F.J.Mock dibutuhkan data curah hujan, penguapan, dan daerah tangkapan air. Data curah hujan yang dipakai adalah data curah hujan 10 tahun terakhir, serta metode Penman modifikasi untuk menghitung penguapan. Berdasarkan perhitungan F.J.Mock, dengan menggunakan probabilitas 80% diperoleh debit rencana sebesar 1.09 m3/detik. Saluran pembawa berbentuk trapesium dengan dimensi lebar bawah 1.18 meter, lebar atas 2.37 meter dan tinggi 1 meter. Dari hasil perhitungan didapat pipa penstok dengan panjang 65 meter. Dari hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa sungai kampar memiliki potensi sebagai pembangkit listrik tenaga mikro hidro. Daya yang dihasilkan sebesar 114 mw dengan tinggi jatuh (head) 15 meter.
