Abstract

Each student hopes to follow the learning process well so that the final results can be good and satisfied grades. The learning process conducted is not like usual such as online learning, it has caused a variety of students’ emotions. This aim of this study is to determine the students’ level of emotional intelligence who follow the online class is about 43 PG-PAUD students through the distribution of an emotional intelligence scale. The method used is descriptive qualitative and the data is analyzed by percentage technique. The results showed that 67.4% of PG-PAUD students' emotional intelligence levels were in the medium category, and the other 32.6% were in the low (11.6%) and high (21%). Puring students dominate in the category of low and high emotional intelligences’ levels than working students who dominate in the category of moderate emotional intelligences’ levels. The difference level of emotional intelligence between puring and working students is only 0.8% in average. The factors that cause pure students to dominate the level of emotional intelligence in the low and high categories: 1) age who are in transition (19 – 22 years old) from late adolescence to early adulthood; and 2) the difficulty of the internet network in the student's domicile area which causes anxiety when participate in the online learning process. Key words: smart, emotion, learning process, working students, online

Abstract

Integrated mathematics learning that can be used to develop thinking skill encourages children to develop a variety of children's intellectual potential. But there are various media that can be used in mathematics learning including real media that can be manipulated such as blocks, tangram, lego, and also abstract media like calculators, computers and so on. The research objectives here are to determine the ability in introducing numbers in early childhood through the way of drawing patterns. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. While the type of research used in this study is the type of classroom action research. The results of the study based on the implementation of the initial cycle can be classified in to low category, where the skills to reach (58.0%), while the ability to recognize numbers (10.0%). Based on the implementation of the first cycle cucumber skills reached (78.0%), while the ability to recognize numbers (26.0%). According to the implementation of cycle II, the ability to reach is 88.0%, while the ability to recognize numbers (44.0%). The results of the study can be concluded that the game of shutting kinds of pictures on a pillow can help students to recognize numbers quickly.  Keywords: Numbers, Coughing, Pictures, PAUD

Abstract

This paper examines three kinds of educational environments that play a role and also influence the success or failure of education for children. The three types of educational environment are the family environment (informal), the school environment (formal), and the community environment (non formal). The family environment is the first and foremost environment that children get. Father and mother as parents are natural educators who provide education to their children both before and after the child is born. Meanwhile, the school environment is an environment where at a certain age a child will definitely be given up by his parents to receive education in a more formal form. The educators are called teachers as professional educators. The last one is the community environment where of course the child is also a social being who interacts with the social environment around him. Educators in society here are all elements that exist in society. From the three types of environment, the results show that between one environment and another, they complement each other and have a role and contribution in providing education to children. Good and bad, the success or failure of the education obtained by children is very dependent on what they get from the three educational environments. Keywords: Islamic Education Environment, Contribution

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the role, what methods are used as well as obstacles and solutions of Dayah Darul Amin Al-Waaliyah in fostering community religion in Ilie Village. The research population was all the people in the village of Ulee Kareng Sub-District, Banda Aceh City, which were as many as 625 households using random sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out using test, questionnaire and documentation techniques. The results of the study show that Dayah as a center for da'wah and social empowerment that is very important in broadcasting Dayah religion fostering/forming generations of cadres so that young generation cadres have good/perfect morals and more so that they are firm in their faith in Allah, because they are more directed 'ubudiah to Allah swt. This finding is expected to be used by leader of Dayah Darul Amin Al-Waaliyah in growing public awareness of religion, developing and implementing study methods and being able to overcome any obstacles by deliberating. Keywords: Role of dayah; Religious formation

Abstract

The results of the preliminary study found that there were still children with special needs who did not receive education yet. This showed that the education which is the right of every citizen including children with the special needs has not been fulfilled. This study aimed to determine the causes of children with special needs dropping out of school. Data were collected through interviews. The results showed that 2 children with special needs had never received fair education, 3 other children with special needs had obtained education but did not graduate from elementary school. The decision which did not continue education among them with special needs is due to the following factors: 1) Unequal education access for children with the special needs; 2) The parents’ economic situation on special needs children. 3) Misunderstanding the parents toward the potention and improvement on children with the special needs. 4) The parents shame on their children with the special needs. Keywords: Analysis of Factors; The Children With Special Needs; Dropout of School.

Abstract

This research is called “Teachers’ Effort to Discipline their Students in the Kindergarten of Tahfizh Anak Bangsa Banda Aceh”. The formulation of a problem in this research is how efforts to teachers in discipline early childhood in kindergarten Tahfizh Anak Bangsa Banda Aceh. A method of the research is descriptive qualitative. The researchers found that teachers in various methods in discipline eraly childhood the discipline kid came to school timely, smoothing shoes when to the learn, marching made, dressed decorated with, collect and smoothing clothes made, littering in place, was their hands befor and after eating. Abstract

The aim of this research is to eleborate and to look for the values which are contained in Tor-Tor Sombah Dance in Simalungun community (North Sumatera). The method that used in this research were qualitative and interpretative research method. The data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The valid data technique uses data triangulation techniques. Furthermore, it is analyzed through interactive channels, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results showed that the Sombah Tor-tor Dance has special values in displaying it, Togetherness Value, Brotherhood Value, and Social Value. Tor-tor Sombah dance is a traditional dance of the Simalungun people, born since the 13th century. Tor-tor Sombah dance consists of head movements, eye sight, hand movements, fingers and steps or stamping of feet. The Tor-tor Sombah dance is accompanied by traditional Batak musical instruments namely Gondrang, Mong-mongan, and Sarunei Bolon. Tor-tor Sombah dance is very safe to discuss with traditional ceremonies, namely rituals and entertainment events at the wedding party. Keywords: Values; Tor-Tor Sombah Dance

Abstract

The background of the problem in this research is the method used in the learning process to date has not given maximum results.The purpose of this study was to determine the methods used in learning of morals aqeedah in MAN Kuta Baro Lam Ateuk Aceh Besar. The method used is a descriptive analysis method that is analyzing the collected data. Meanwhile, data collection techniques were carried out through library research and field research through observation, interviews and questionnaire distribution.  Morals aqeedah material taught at Man Kuta Baro Lam Ateuk Aceh Besar is Islamic aqeedah including aqeedah (faith),sharia'at (worship), morals (Ihsan).The results of the study showed the method of teaching morals aqeedah by the teacher at MAN Kuta Baro using the lecture and question and answer method. The application of morals aqeedah learning to MAN Kuta Baro Lam Ateuk Aceh Besar through a good example from the teacher, and through creating a positive atmosphere for students. Keywords: Learning Methods; Morals  Aqeedah

Abstract

This research is based on the Diniyah Program. A program that aims to improve the study of Islamic religious knowledge and study the Qur'an. When students have graduated from elementary school (SD), they will get a certificate marking the graduation of the diniyah program and if the student has obtained this certificate, then when they continue their school to the SMP / MTSN level, they will no longer be taking the al-Qur'an reading test. However, this rule only applies to the city of Banda Aceh, if there are elementary school (SD) students who are not from the city of Banda Aceh who wish to continue their studies to SMP / MTSN, then an al-Qur'an reading test will be carried out. So that in this problem, the researcher aims to find out the diniyah program strategies to improve students' abilities in understanding tilawatil al-Qur'an. This research uses qualitative research. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation which were arranged in accordance with the research objectives. Based on the data collected, the researchers managed to reveal the strategy of increasing the ability of tilawatil Al-Qur'an through the diniyah program for Elementary School students (SD) Negeri 4 Banda Aceh, namely: Routine supervision, training for diniyah teachers, the school determines a learning schedule for Diniyah students, fourth and fifth grade students are required to attend the diniyah program, use audio tools to read the Koran properly and correctly, and provide motivation. Supporting factors in improving the ability of Tilawatil al-Qur'an, namely: Having full support from the Banda Aceh City Education Office, the commitment of the school principal and diniyah teachers in carrying out the diniyah program, having adequate facilities (tajwid book, library , audio, special hall and teacher), the enthusiasm of the parents, and the availability of special time to study tilawatil al-Qur'an. Keywords: Strategy, Diniyah Program, Tilawatil al-Qur'an

Abstract

The children aged 5-6 years old are basically able to manage emotions naturally, but in TK IT Baitusshalihin kindergarten, especially group B2, there are still those who not able to manage emotions properly. This research to develop the ability to manage emotions in group B2 aged 5-6 years old at TK IT Baitusshalihin kindergarten Ulee Kareng. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with a classroom action reseacrh approach. The subject in this study were 11 children that consisting of 6 boys and 5 gilrs collecting data using class observation techniques and interviews with B2 class teachers. The data analysis technique uses the percentage formula for each cycle action. The results of this research method found that storytelling can improve the ability to manage childrens emotions. This can be seen from the previous ability to manage childrens emotions below 75%. Although in the first cycle there was only one child whose ability to manage emotions was above 75%, but in the second cycle there were nine children whose ability was above 75%. Keywords: Managing emotions, storytelling method, and early childhood.
