JPPM: Journal of Public Policy and Management
JPPM: Journal of Public Policy and management, with registered number ISSN 2715-2952 (online) is a scientific multidisciplinary journal published by Master of Public Administration, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar It is in the national level that covers a lot of common problems or issues related to the public administration sciences. The aim of this journal publication is to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the area of public administrations and policies. JPPM: Journal of Public Policy and Management, particularly focuses on the main problems in the development of the sciences of public policies and administrations areas. It covers the administration development, the regional autonomy and bureaucracy, the state apparatus, the decentralisation, the economic and science development, the public management, the governance and its policy, and any social sciences that cover sciences of public health, fiscal politics, and regional planning.

<![CDATA[This study purposed to find out and analyze the effect of work motivation on service quality in Mappakasunggu District office of Takalar Regency. This study used descriptive research by using quantitative methods and approaches that described work motivation towards service quality in the District Office of Mappakasunggu, Takalar Regency, as many as 77 people. Sampling technique used simple random sampling. The statistical analysis of the coffisien model table, explaining the magnitude of the correlation or relationship (R) value of 0.590. The influence of the independent variable or work motivation (X) on the dependent variable of service quality (Y) shown by the standard coffisien of 0.5 or 59% based on these results it could be said that the influence of the independent variable or work motivation (X) on the variable the dependent quality of service (Y) in the Mappakasunggu District Office of Takalar Regency was 0.5, or 59%.]]>

<![CDATA[This study describes the implementation of the Public Private Partnership (KPS) policy between the Tangerang Regency Government and PT. Aetra Air Tangerang in providing drinking water for the people of Tangerang Regency. This study aims to determine how the success of policy implementation using Edward III's theory as a measure of success. The key informant in this study is the Regional Secretary of Tangerang Regency as the person in charge and implementer of the policy. This research was conducted in a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques in this study are by observation, interviews and desk study or literature study. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Public Private Partnership (KPS) policy between the Tangerang Regency Government and PT. Aetra Air Tangerang in the provision of drinking water, has been running quite well, especially in terms of resources, disposition and bureaucratic structure. problems and constraints are found in the communication factor where the transmission, clarity and consistency of policies have encountered many problems and it is necessary to find the most appropriate solution, so that policy implementation can be maximized and achieve policy objectives optimally.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aimed to determine and analyze the influence of transformational leadership style on employee discipline in the Office of Population and Civil Registry of Takalar Regency. This study used a descriptive study using quantitative methods and approaches that described the transformational leadership style of employee discipline in the Office of Population and Civil registry of Takalar Regency. The population in this study were all employees in the Office of Population and Civil Registry of Takalar regency as many as 50 people, civil servants were 30 people and 20 honorary. Sampling technique used saturated sampling. The results showed that the transformational leadership style had a positive and significant effect on employee discipline at the Office of Population and Civil Registration, with an R square coefficient of 0,524, meaning 52.4% of the leadership style affected employee discipline at the Office of Population and Civil Registration at Takalar Regency.]]>

<![CDATA[Fast and effective public services are a supporter of public administration so that continuous innovation is needed to improve the quality of public services. The city of Surabaya as one of the cities with the title of smart city has tried to always make innovations in an effort to improve the quality of public services, one of which is through the Surabaya Single Window. Surabaya Single Window is an online-based licensing service created to create effective public services. This article attempts to describe how the licensing service innovation carried out by the City Government of Suraya through the Surabaya Single Window covers five important aspects. The method used is descriptive qualitative using secondary data. It was found that the City of Surabaya succeeded in creating public service innovations through the Surabaya Single Window. The Surabaya Single Window has a positive impact on licensing services in the City of Surabaya, although in its implementation there are still certain guarantees. ]]>

<![CDATA[This research purposed to find out how the partnership management in the provision of clean water at Biring Ere village, Pangkep Regency. This research used qualitative research with the type descriptive research. The number of informants in the study was 7 people. Data analysis used a qualitative research approach. The type of research used phenomenological research. Data collectiontechniques were instruments in the form of observation, interviews with informants. The data were analyzed descriptively. The results of this research showed that the partnership of the first parrty and the second party in suppling clean be seen from the utilization of clean water supply. But, the development had not been as expected due to the lack of proper maintenance that carried out by the community after post-development. But with the existence of partnersship management, it provided benefits for the community in Biring Ere Village, Pangkep Regency.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the implementation of E-Procurement in the procurement of goods and services in the Procurement Services Section of the City of Makassar Regional Secretariat. The type of research used is qualitative research. Data analysis techniques using steps of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, verification of data that are qualitative in nature, to draw conclusions. The results showed that there were five indicators: (1) BLPBJ Makassar City human resources suppressed the readiness of character qualities that are continuing; (2) Online communication provides accessibility and flexibility; (3) The objective of going hand in hand is between Tender and Non-Tender for the Makassar City DPRD game; (4) The environment supports the Makassar City LPSE in terms of politics and economics and not the general public; (5) Compliance of the implementor on the condition of direct appointment to the deposited contractor requires that the compliance of the implementor in handling Direct Procurement (PL) has not been maximized.]]>

<![CDATA[Changes in the environment experienced by organizations require organizations to make adjustments to answer all future challenges. The strength that must be possessed by the organization is to realize the concrete concept that becomes a tool to make changes. One of them is knowledge management, because knowledge management is an organizational activity that manages knowledge as an asset, wherein various strategies there is the right distribution of knowledge to the right people in a fast time until they interact with each other from various knowledge and apply it in daily work for performance improvement. Knowledge Management integration in the decision-making process can be interpreted as a structured and systematic process in acquiring, distributing, and utilizing knowledge to support the decision-making process. The position of knowledge management in decision making is between two poles of knowledge, namely tacit knowledge on the one hand and the utilization of explicit knowledge in decision making on the other. Explicit knowledge emphasizes the implicit role of knowledge management in influencing actors involved in decision making. Research design using quantitative methods. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires. The results showed that the implementation of Knowledge management has a positive effect on decision making in the Regional Development Agency of Takalar regency.]]>

<![CDATA[This study purposed to find out how the institutionalization of government strategy in reducing maternal mortality rate (AKI) and how to operationalize the government strategy in reducing maternal mortality rate (AKI) in Enrekang Regency. This study used descriptive qualitative research . Data collection techniques were observation, interviews with 5 informants and documentation. Data analysis used interactive analysis models and used 3 types of triangulation in data validation. The results of this study showed that the role of public health midwives in reducing maternal mortality was very important, especially in the role of community empowerment, optimizing Integrated Healthcare Center activities, and leadership roles in public health and health cadres were expected to be able to encourage the community to carry out self-help activities in improving health status. The role of community health workers in empowering cadres was very important by increasing the ability of community knowledge and awareness regarding prevention of maternal mortality in Enrekang Regency]]>

<![CDATA[This study discusses the oversight function of the Regional House of Representatives in the implementation of free education as well as the factors that influence the DPRD in the implementation of its supervisory function towards the implementation of free education in South Halmahera Regency. The review of this research is descriptive qualitative, that is, the research provides a clear and complicated picture of what is examined and becomes the subject of discussion, data obtained from informants through observation, interviews and document analysis. The results showed how the supervision of the Regional People's Representative Council in the implementation of free education in South Halmahera Regency was not optimal because the DPRD was more preoccupied with personal affairs and political parties, then the supervisory function was also needed by the ability of DPRD members, political competition and DPRD protection.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Implementasi Sistem Cuti Menjelang Bebas Narapidana pada Rumah Tahanan Negara Kelas II B Kabupaten Barru, pendekatan penelitian menggunakan deskriptif Kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi,wawancara ,dan dokumentasi, Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 10 orang yang dipilih secara purposive ,Teknik analisis data mengunakan model interaktif miles . “Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Implementasi Sistem Cuti Menjelang Bebas Narapidana pada Rumah Tahanan Negara Kelas II B Kabupaten Barru .”Melalui 4 tahap yaitu : 1) Syarat Substan jangka waktu CMB yaitu narapida yang telah telah memenuhi syarat antara lain Telah menjalani masa pidana sekurang –kurangnya 2/3 (dua pertiga). 2) Syarat Administratif yaitu proses pengumpulan berkas seperti Fotocopy Kartu Keluarga WBP , Fotocopy Kartu Tanda Penduduk dan Kartu Keluarga Penjamin ,dan Materai Rp.6000” . 3) Proses kebijakan Pembinaan membimbing terpidana agar bertobat,mendidik supaya ia menjadi seorang anggota masyarakat sosialis Indonesia yang berguna.4). Tujuan kebijakan yaitu menberikan pendidikan secara holistik yang menghubungkan dimensi moral dengan ranah sosial dalam kehidupan peserta didik sebagai fondasi bagi terbentuknya generasi yang berkualitas yang mampu hidup mandiri dan memiliki prinsip suatu kebenaran yang dapat dipertanggung jawabkan.]]>
