Abstract

A country's development might be represented by its education system. The Indonesian government, through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology make a breakthrough through Regulation of Minister of Education and Culture no. 3 of 2020 on the Independent Learning-Independent Campus (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka / MBKM) program. This policy provides private and state university students an opportunity to enrich and broaden their knowledge and competence in a real life settings. One of the implementations of this program is the industrial internship. In Dharmawangsa University, MBKM policy has been translated into an industrial internship program through collaboration with several companies and industrial sectors. In order to monitor its students activities during the internship, Undhar assigns a permanent lecturer as a field guide lecturer (Dosen Pembimbing Lapangan/DPL). The monitoring system presented in this paper was developed using Agile Scrum, which began with problem identification stage to system testing stage. This method was selected due to easier adjustability, as it allows further development following the needs. This work produced a web-based system for monitoring and reporting students internship activities, allowing students and DPL to communicate more easily related to the students internship activities.

Abstract

Toko Kebaya Style Modern is a business engaged in the sale of kebaya clothes, which is located in at Jalan Besar Delitua Kab. Deli Serdang. Promotion system and a conventional data collection and manually create outreach than the market share gained by Toko Kebaya Style Modern. Therefore, they invented a way of marketing and sales through the Internet or ECommrece which aims to provide convenience to the seller and the buyer in the process of buying and selling and collection of products and customers. The method used in this research is the method of object-oriented approach Object methods Orientd Analysis Program (OOAD) as well as visual modeling that helps to capture the structure and behavior of objects. This visual modeling using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and feasibility analysis menggunakann PIECES (Performance, Information, Economic, Control, Eficiensi, and Service). E-commerce system can help Toko Kebaya Style Modern in the sales process, data collection and management products that are online as well as disseminating information about the product rapidly and expand the coverage area of marketing and improving the quality of services better to their customers so as to strengthen the relationship between the company and customers, and ultimately bring benefits to the company in the market and meet customers' needs for information is up to date

Abstract

Project Management Unit of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) serves to limit, planning, forecasting, scheduling, organizing, directing, controlling, and closing projects. Technological development monitoring system and growing can be used to assist management in monitoring to ensure all activities conducted goes according to plan. The technology can be used as a media monitoring include web-based technology. The method used is by direct observation in ERP Project Management Unit, analyzing procedures and processes on the system is running, as well as describe the procedure using UML. To support the accuracy of the data, the research conducted by the method of literature, by searching for relevant information from various books and browsing the Internet. I also conduct experiments or in practice in the design and manufacture of prototype applications Project Management Monitoring System. The benefits of this research is to produce a new system in the form of application Project Management Web-based Monitoring System is capable of supporting high mobility of employees to report any activity that has been, is being, or will be done in realtime. The report was subsequently used as a basis for analyzing the shortcomings of the activities that have been done so that management can do forecasting activities that will be implemented in the future. Abstract

Currently, especially in Indonesia, data leaks occur in domestic agencies and private e-commerce. From these problems, cryptographic researchers are needed to make the data difficult to read, this research forms cryptography through a substitution method which will determine the number of keys that have been used and generated back in the dictionary, in its implementation the researcher uses the Devops design method, this method uses 4 stages, namely 1. ) continues development, 2) continues testing, 3) continues integration, 4) continues development. The results obtained by the text can be encrypted and described perfectly and successfully as much as 15864 data, and consumes low resources

Abstract

Spice classification is an important task in the food industry to ensure food safety and quality. This study focuses on the classification of spices using the HoG feature extraction method and boosting algorithms. The objective of this research is to compare the performance of four different models of boosting algorithms, namely Adaboost Classifier, Gradient Boosting Classifier, XGB Classifier, and Light GBM Classifier, in classifying spices. The evaluation metrics used in this research are Precision, Recall, F1-Score, F2-Score, Jaccard Score, and Accuracy. The results show that the XGB Classifier model achieved the best performance, with a precision of 0.811, recall of 0.809, and F1-score of 0.809, while the Adaboost Classifier model had the lowest performance, with a precision of 0.709, recall of 0.689, and F1-score of 0.682. Overall, the results indicate a fairly good success rate in classifying spices using the HoG feature extraction method and boosting algorithms. However, further evaluation is needed to improve the accuracy of the classification results, such as increasing the number of training data or considering the use of other feature extraction methods

Abstract

The development of technology is currently growing rapidly. Entrepreneurship and many technological advances are possible. The impact of technology on entrepreneurship has enormous advantages. By utilizing the internet network, technology has developed into a medium for business transactions, both products and services. Realize that the role of internet media can be used in the buying and selling process to increase sales turnover, as a way to market products to a wider market, and as a way to reduce operational costs such as store rental costs. This research on the impact of online website media on the buying and selling process is the main goal. in an effort to boost business at small retailers.

Abstract

PDAM Tirtanadi Sumut provides a supporting facility, one of which is operations that are used in carrying out daily employee activities. The problem has occurred that many operational vehicle are no longer suitable for use because the age of the vehicle is long. the cost of spare parts that are increasingly being replaced makes the company have to spend quite a lot of money to buy spare parts and repair the operational vehicle. The purpose of this study is to assist PDAM Tirtandi, North Sumatra Province in determining suitable cars to use using the Topsis method (Technique For Order Preference By Similarity To Ideal Solution) and it is hoped that this method will be able to determine suitable operational vehicles at the North Sumatra Province PDAM office.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to create and implement effective learning media to facilitate lecturers and students in conducting learning at the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, University of Muhammadiyah Sumatera Barat, namely designing Teknik Digital App learning applications by designing using use case diagrams, making the system in accordance with the design that has been made and implement the system that has been created and perform testing on the system. In collecting data, researchers used the method of observation, interviews and literature study. Meanwhile, in developing the system, researchers use the type of Research and Development (RD) research referring to the waterfall model. Applications made using Android Studio, Figma and Adobe Illustrator CS3. The application that has been made is tested using the black box testing method. This research produces a Teknik Digital App learning application that helps parties in carrying out the learning process during lectures and also helps students to make it easier to learn basic digital engineering materials anywhere and anytime.

Abstract

Data breach is a common phenomenon is these days. Entities holding the personal data are involved in providing data to marketing and other companies for their benefit. Consequently, the citizens suffer and pay the price of breaching. Various countries have adopted personal data protection laws in line with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). The California State has also made legislation to secure consumer rights in respect of personal data. This study made a comparison between General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). After study, it has been identified that GDPR is a comprehensive document which can be used for providing security of personal data around the world. It has all the relevant clauses/ Articles that can be used accordingly. Furthermore, being dynamic in nature it has the capability to become adoptable to new changes/ technologies. However, there is a need to expend the scope of the study and conduct a comparative analysis on the basis of geographical boundaries. The future directions may include the study of laws relating to personal data protection of various developing countries in the context of the GDPR.

Abstract

The STM organization is a social organization that aims to establish friendship, help each other in joy or sorrow among Muslims. another goal is to maintain neighborhood harmony and social relations between villagers in general, especially those who are Muslim. in supporting the implementation of its activities the STM organization collects and manages funds originating from several sources including mandatory contributions from members, member registration fees and other donations. in managing these funds, all expenses or income are recorded manually. This makes it difficult for the treasurer to report. Under these conditions, the process of financial reporting to members is considered not transparent. This of course can raise suspicions which will cause the harmony of neighbors to be disrupted. Therefore, the STMKu website was created which can be a medium of information for members and the public about financial management information and activities carried out by STM. STM management is also assisted in recording and reporting activities and financial processes. This application is made based on the website using the waterfall system development method.
