Abstract

The hospital accreditation is a confession to quality of hospital care. It provides a visible commitment to improve the quality of patient care, to ensure a safe environment and to continually work to reduce risks to patients and staffs. Based on patient safety incident report by patient safety hospital committee, in Indonesia was found that there was case report of unexpected incident (14,41%) and nearly injury incident (18,53%) that caused by process or clinical procedur (9,26%), medication (9,26%) and patient harm resulting from falls (5,15%). In Indonesia data about unexpected incident especially nearly injury was rare. It could be influenced by health officer that unknown about the importance of the report. This study aimed to analysis the impact of knowledge about the hospital accreditation to patient safety culture at Sultan Sulaiman General Hospital in Serdang Bedagai Regency in 2019. This study used quantitative method with cross sectional design. Participant of this study was 147 health officer of the hospital. The participants were recruited by using purposive sampling technique. Knowledge about accreditation in this case was representative by Patient Safety Goals that one of standarts in National Standarization of Accreditation of Hospital. The patient safety goals consist of identify patients correctly. Improve effective communication, improve the safety of high alert medications, ensure safe surgery, reduce the risk of health cese-associated infections and reduce the risk of patient harm resulting from falls.Knowledge about patient safety goals has 58,5% moderate level and 41,5% good level. Patient safety culture has 87,1% moderate level and 12,9% good level. All knowledge about patient safety goals has influenced to patient safety culture, but only one that have significant impact to patient safet goals, identify patients correctly. From this result, it can be concluded that higher level of knowledge about identify patients correctly can higher level of patient safety culture.

Abstract

The weakness of referral system has an impact on the use of human resources and in effficent advanced technology, have consequence in accumulation of patients in the hospital and finally impacted to the quality of health service. The purpose of research was to find out the factor of online referral that related to patient satisfaction in agency of social health service outpatients. The research was done using the quantitaive method with the cross sectional approach which analytical survey. The 96 samples is from purposive sampling method. The data instrument used questionnaire with the item correlation 0,361 and cronbach alpha 0,6. The data analysis was done with chi-square test (X 2 test) on the bivariate test, and regression logistic on the multivariate test with α= 0,05. The result of the analysis was related certainty of time (p=0,005), certainty of referral (p= 0,007),waiting time (p=0,034), acces to health service (p=0,011),quality of health service (p= 0,001), health care procces (p=0,004), health care system (p= 0,003) with the patient satisfaction in agency of social health service outpatients and the most dominant variable related with patient satisfaction is certainty of referral (RP=8,886). The research was concluded that there is related the certainty of time, certainty of referral, waiting time, acces to health service, quality of health service, health care procces and health care system related with the patients satisfaction. Suggested to doctor have to be on time in service so that service is more optimal.

Abstract

Anemia that occurs in pregnant women is iron deficiency anemia, the impact of this anemia can cause death for both mother and baby.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of papaya juice on increasing Hb levels in pregnant women with anemia who received iron tablets supplementation at the Bunda Patimah Inpatient Clinic, Medan. This study used a quasi-experimental design with the Pre and Post Test Control One Group design, namely seeing the difference before and after being given. The population in this study were 10 respondents. In this study using the Paired T Test. The results showed that the average increase in Hb levels of pregnant women with anemia before and after being given papaya juice was 4,300, Std. Deviation 11,374, Std. Error Mean 3,597 with 95% CI = 2.263 - 28,537 with p value = 0.000. The conclusion of this study was that there was an effect of giving papaya juice on increasing Hb levels in pregnant women with anemia who received iron tablets supplementation at the Bunda Patimah Inpatient Clinic, Medan. It is suggested to the Mother Patimah Inpatient Primary Clinic in Medan as a reference for further researchers of about the benefits of giving papaya..

Abstract

Therapeutic communication is an interpersonal relationship between officers health and the client in this relationship both get shared experiences in order to improve the client's emotional experience. number Infant mortality (IMR), one of which is the mother's emotional condition during pregnancy until birth. Anxiety (anxiety) is a disorder with feelings that characterized by feelings of deep fear or worry and sustainable. The period of pregnancy, childbirth and post-natal is a period of the occurrence of great stress, anxiety, emotional disturbances and adjustment. This study aims to determine and identify the level of decrease in maternal anxiety in the face of normal delivery by type gender, age, education and occupation.This study uses a quasi-experimental design with Design One Group Pretest and Posttest without groups control. The population in this study were 34 respondents. In this research using non-random (non-probability) sampling with the technique of Purposive Sampling. Of the 34 respondents studied, the majority of respondents were in the good category, namely as many as 18 respondents (52.9%), and the majority of respondents in the sufficient category, namely as many as 8 respondents (23.5%), and the majority of respondents in the less category 8 were 8 people (23.5%). Results of this statistical test using the Wilcoxon sign rank test in get p-value 0.001 < 0.05. Then Ha is rejected.

Abstract

Patient satisfaction is the main key to the success of services that affect satisfaction in pharmaceutical services. If the service is in accordance with expectations, of course the quality of service is considered good and satisfying, on the other hand, the service received is not satisfactory, the quality of service is considered bad. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy to the satisfaction of outpatients at the general hospital in Sembiring. This type of research used mix methods with cross sectional design in quantitative research and sequential explanatory strategies in qualitative research. The total population of 336 people, with a sample size of 73 people obtained using purposive sampling. Collecting data in quantitative research by distributing questionnaires while in qualitative research by means of indept interviews. The results showed that variables related to outpatient satisfaction at Grandmed Hospital were: physical evidence (p value = 0.002), reliability (p value = 0.012), responsiveness (p value = 0.003), assurance (p value = 0.010), and Empathy (p value = 0.000). It is recommended to the Grandmed Hospital Outpatient Pharmacy to maintain the good quality of service and continue to improve the quality of service to patients.

Abstract

Standards service minimum are provisions regarding the type and quality of basic services which are mandatory regional affairs that every citizen has the right to obtain at a minimum. One of the minimum service standards in the medical record unit is that the time for providing outpatient medical record documents is 10 minutes which is calculated for the time for providing medical record documents starting from the patient registering until the medical record document is provided/found by the officer. The length of time a patient waits is one of the potential indicators that can affect patient loyalty to the hospital. The is purpose study to analyze the relation between the time of providing medical record documents with patient loyalty at the Internal Medicine Polyclinic of Sembiring Deli Tua General Hospital. This type of research is an analytic study with a cross sectional design. Data were analyzed by univariate and bivariate analysis using chi square (x) test. The number of samples available as many as 64 samples were taken from the population, namely internal polyclinic patients. The results of the bivariate analysis of the time of providing medical record documents with patient loyalty obtained a p value of 0.001. From the results of the bivariate analysis p value < 0.05, there is a relationship between the time of providing medical record documents with patient loyalty at the Internal Medicine Polyclinic of Sembiring Deli Tua General Hospital. it is hoped that the hospital management will conduct socialization to service officers to provide excellent service, it aims to improve the quality of service in the hospital.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Diabetes mellitus is a group of metabolic diseases characterized by hyperglycemia that occurs due to abnormalities in insulin secretion, insulin action, or both (American Diabetes Association (ADA) 2018). The mortality rate due to DM worldwide reached 1.5 million people in 2012, in 2014 the prevalence of DM sufferers was estimated at 9% of the total world population (WHO, 2015). The study aims to analyze the factors that affect blood sugar levels (KGD) of type II DM patients who are being treated at the Sembiring Hospital in 2021. This research was a quantitative research that analytic observational with a case contro research design. The population was all type II DM patients. The control population was a patient who was not diagnosed with type II diabetes who was carrying out an examination at the Delitua Health Center, a sample of 54 people. With a ratio of 1:1, namely 54 cases and 54 controls. Data analysis was performed using univariate analysis, bivariate analysis with chi square and multivariate with logistic regression test at α= 0.05. The results showed that there was an effect of stress factors (0.001), lifestyle (0.004), body weight (0.011), medication adherence (0.032) on blood sugar levels of type II DM patients. Of the four variables that predominantly affect the blood sugar levels of type II DM patients is the stress factor. The conclusion is that there is an effect of stress, lifestyle, body weight and medication adherence to blood sugar levels of type II DM patients. It is recommended for type II DM patients to control DM disease and to check blood sugar levels regularly at least once or 2 months.

Abstract

Hospitals need to improve strategies to be able to increase outpatient satisfaction so that patients will make decisions to make repeat visits and have an impact on increasing the number of outpatient visits. The type of research used is quantitative research using a cross-sectional approach or research that aims to analyze the factors that cause low outpatient visits at dr. Fauziah Bireuen in 2021. Held at the dr. Fauziah Bireuen, from November 2021 to March 2022. The sample size is calculated by using the minimum sample formula from Lemeshow, from the calculation, the minimum sample size is 60 people. The sampling technique used is consecutive sampling, The results showed that there was a statistical relationship between registration services, doctor services, pharmacy services and the hospital environment with the low number of outpatient visits at RSUD dr. Fauziah Bireuen and the most dominant variable is the registration service variable and based on the value of Exp(B) on the results of the Multivariate test it is known that the registration service has the largest value of 6.376 so it can be assumed that the registration service has a chance of 6.376 times causing low outpatient visits at RSUD dr. Fauziah Bireuen. The need for adding politeness and friendliness indicators to the SOP for registration services, optimizing the use of electronic medical records (RME) to improve the performance of registration service officers and shorten registration waiting times, increasing the comfort of the pharmacy service waiting room by adding a TV unit, so that patients queuing and waiting for drugs become more comfortable and less bored.

Abstract

Work discipline is defined as an attitude or behavior of an employee in an organization to always obey, respect, and respect various rules and norms that have been set by the organization in order to achieve organizational goals. The type of research used is quantitative research with a survey method that aims to analyze the factors related to the work discipline of non-civil servants at RSUD dr. Fauziah Bireuen in 2021. This research will be carried out at RSUD dr. Fauziah Bireuen from November 2021 to March 2022. The sample selection in this study was carried out using the Slovin formula, based on this formula the number of samples was 90 non-civil servants. The sampling method used is consecutive sampling. Variables of Supervision System, Provision of Sanctions, Rewards/Reward Services and Leadership Exemplary related to Work Discipline of Non-PNS Employees At RSUD dr. Fauziah Bireuen 2021. The most dominant variable with non-civil servant employee work discipline is the supervisory system and has 5,859 times the opportunity to improve work discipline for non-civil servant employees at RSUD dr. Fauziah Bireuen. It is necessary to establish a supervisory system to monitor and evaluate the work discipline of Non-PNS employees, Imposing sanctions on employees who violate the rules, especially those related to work discipline and Adjusting the provision of rewards/services to the workload conditions and work discipline of non-PNS employees at RSUD dr. Fauziah Bireuen.

Abstract

WOHD launched a 21-day toothbrush program after breakfast and before bedtime. Data shows that 80% of Indonesians have dirty and perforated teeth and periodontal support tissue for various reasons. (Yuliana,2015) The purpose of this study was to see the effect of the success of the 21-day toothbrush program (P21HSG) on the Oral Hygiene IndexSimplified (OHIS) Standard on oral hygiene and student behavior at Public Elementary School (SDN) 084087 Sibolga City in 2020. This type of research is quasi experiment design. This research uses lecture method and P21HSG method. Pre and post test group design, that is. The sample was grade 4 elementary school students as many as 40 people divided into groups, namely 20 control groups and 20 case groups. Samples were taken by purposive sampling method. Data collection was conducted using behavioral questionnaires and OHIS scores. The results showed an increase in student behavior score after lecture method counseling by 1.45 and in lecture method and P21HSG by1.80. There was a decrease instudents' OHIS score after lecture method counseling by 2.05 and in lecture method and P21HSG by 2.65. There is an effect of P21HSG success on OHIS Standard on oral hygiene and student behavior at SDN 084087 Sibolga City 2020, p< α (0.05). Ongoing efforts need to be carried out so that elementary school students can maintain good oral and dental health properly, providing counseling on oral and dental health and P21HSG.
