Abstract

Public speaking is a skill that absolutely must be mastered by everyone from various professions, including leaders. A public speaker must learn, understand, and apply the methods and techniques of pushing the right material according to the characteristics of the audience invited and the material to be delivered. The biggest obstacle faced actually comes from the public speaker himself, such as fear, fear, feelings of shame, lack of confidence, and lack of discipline. This qualitative research aims to overcome the public speaking obstacles faced by RT administrators in RW.02 Bambu Apus and to help provide solutions to overcome these obstacles. The results of the research revealed that anxiety is an obstacle that always arises when appearing to speak in public, especially if the event is attended by important people or government officials at a higher level. This anxiety eventually creates other obstacles, such as being assertive, hands feeling cold, shaking, not focusing on the material, and being at a loss for words. Practices that are carried out continuously and consistently, as well as creativity in conveying material are the keys to success in public speaking.

Abstract

Technological developments and population growth have an effect on waste management which requires proper and adequate handling because the volume of waste is increasing day by day. The main problem of final waste management is overcapacity at TPA and low level of waste management before entering TPA. The city of Blitar has an area of around 32.57 km2 with a population of ± 158,313 people. The Blitar City TPA is located in the Ngegong neighborhood, Gedog Village, Kec. Sananwetan with a land area of 4 ha. There are 2 cells in the prepared Gedog TPA. Currently cell 1 is passive. If the community and scavengers sort waste, it is estimated that cell 2 will be full in the next 3 years. The results of the calculation of the investment performance of the local government of Blitar City have a high investment capacity. Waste processing is still sourced from the Blitar city budget. The Operational Budget for Waste Handling from the APBD of the city of Blitar has fluctuated and there is not even written data on the budget. The fees from the community are not enough to manage all the existing waste, so they are unable to cover the operational costs of waste processing. The UPTD in the field of waste management has not yet collected user fees in a good administrative manner, because data on fees is not yet available according to the type of classification/group of objects of fees. It is recommended that personnel take part in administrative management training for collecting waste fees, so that they have a data base for fees. Regional Regulation Number 07 of 2017 concerning Garbage/Cleaning Service Charges needs to be amended, which will be used as the basis for imposing fees according to the type of object. Collaboration between the government and business entities in providing infrastructure for waste management in the city of Blitar cannot yet be carried out. It is better to do internal improvements, for example in financing and institutions.

Abstract

One of the elements in the world of education that plays a major role in achieving learning goals besides the subject teacher is the guidance and counseling teacher (BK). The task of the BK teacher at school is to ensure students are ready to receive learning at school. This readiness certainly requires a healthy psychological condition free from disturbing problems such as personal, social, study and career problems. The provision of services provided by BK teachers in schools is also inseparable from technological developments. Based on the results of interviews with the head of MGBK SMA Kota Palangka Raya and observations of the provision of group counseling services at schools, it was found that counseling teachers appeared to be less skilled in using technology-based applications. The provision of group counseling services is always provided face to face with the provision of advice. The impact of providing services that use face-to-face, it can be seen that students are less interested, tend to be passive and do not want to attend group counseling sessions. If left continuously without any solution, it will have an impact on the success of the group counseling services provided. One of the solutions that can be offered is to conduct training for counseling teachers in using information technology in a comprehensive manner that focuses on practice. One application that can be utilized in the utilization of information technology is the Chatform application. Applications that encourage users to be more communicative and interactive (Abimanyu, 2020). The application turns boring Google forms into lively conversations that can be shared with students. The objectives of the community service activities carried out at SMA in Palangka Raya are: 1) To find out the description of the ability of counseling teachers at SMA in Palangka Raya to create IT-based media; 2) To develop a training design for using the chatform application for high school counseling teachers in Palangka Raya in providing group counseling services at school; 3) To see the effectiveness of training on the use of the chatform application for high school counseling teachers in Palangka Raya in providing group counseling services at school. After being given the training it was discovered that community service activities by holding training on making interactive BK service media is one of the trainings that is really needed by teaching staff, especially BK teachers. The main output of this research in 2023 is a scientific article that has been submitted to the Journal of Service, ISSN: 2620-4673 (Online), ISSN: 2620-4665 (Print), as well as a Chatform application guide which will be processed for IPR management.

Abstract

Religious education is not just transferring knowledge, but we really hope it will be a place for moral and moral development. How many smart people there are, but the nation is not advanced, there are always many problems, that is because the knowledge they have is not balanced with the morals and morals they have. This study aims to find out how the role of religious education in fostering adolescent morals. And to know the importance of religious education for teenagers, especially at this time in modern life. The problems faced in the process of religious education in overcoming juvenile delinquency include that adolescents are very vulnerable to experiencing psychosocial problems, namely psychological or psychological problems that arise as a result of social change. The method used in this research is descriptive-analytic method, which is trying to describe and analyze the role of religious education in fostering adolescent morals. The results of the research are that in teaching religious education it plays a very important role in one's life to achieve happiness in the world and the hereafter. Because religious education can encourage someone to fear Allah SWT and have knowledge, can develop self-abilities, and can behave and behave in accordance with Islamic religious norms.

Abstract

Flexing communication is a form of symbolic interaction communication that puts pressure on image users, in practice symbols and diction have high privileges, so that the perceptions that appear are of double value. Through a case study in the form of a single descriptive form, it was found that the use of place, diction, expression, style, and intonation of the user is a form of flexing communication using symbols. So that the relationship between the communicator, the message, and the recipient becomes the main component in composing a communication message, this component influences the style of symbolic interaction that is built according to the communicator's message, the communicator's message is transmitted through the transmitter, through the message that is built then rearranged by the recipient, until it reaches the destination, at this point it is not always the same between the messages sent and those received, this is what the communicator must understand, otherwise a communication failure will occur, because in the course of the message it has the potential to be disrupted by various sources of interference that are around it.

Abstract

A system is a collection or set of elements, components or variables that are organized, interact with each other, are interdependent and integrated. Meanwhile, credit purchases are purchases made by companies by gradually repaying the payment fee. Food and Beverage or commonly abbreviated as F&B is a department in hospitality that focuses on food and beverage services to achieve customer satisfaction. Of course, the materials used in the F&B department must be provided by the purchasing department. This study aims to fulfill a final assignment in a diploma three accounting study program, in addition to knowing the credit purchasing system for food and beverage that exists at the Best Western Plus Kemayoran hotel. By using the observation method, documentation method, and literature study in conducting this research. It can be concluded from the results of this study, that purchase requests for food and beverage are made by the kitchen department, and the purchasing department will make purchases on credit in order to reduce hotel expenses. Due to requests that are almost every day.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of cash flow and inflation on the statement of changes in capital. This type of research uses associative quantitative, the object of research is food and beverage companies registered with Bursa Efek Indonesia in 2017-2021, using a purposive sampling method in collecting sample data and the type of data used is secondary data. The total number of samples used in this study were 130 out of 26 food and beverage companies registered with the Indonesian Stock Exchange. Data analysis used in this study used panel data regression using the Eviews 12 test tool. The results of this study indicate that together the variables of cash flow and inflation have no effect on reports of changes in capital. Based on the results of the T hypothesis test, it shows cash flow has no effect on reports of changes in capital, and inflation has no effect on reports of changes in capital.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of Operating Cash Flow and Capital Structure on Profit Grow. This type of research uses associative quantitative, the object of research is banking sub sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018- 2021, using purposive sampling method in collecting data. sample data and the type of data used is secondary data. The totalpopulation in this study were 44 companies and the total sample used in this studywas 40 of 10 companies for a period of 4 years. Analysis of the data used in this study using panel data regression using the Eviews 12 Software. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously the variables Operating Cash Flow and Capital Structure affect Profit Grow. Based on the results of the T hypothesis test,it shows that Operating Cash Flow has an effect on Profit Grow, and Capital Structure has no effect on Profit Grow.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze, test and obtain empirical evidence of the effect of profitability and firm age on audit delay. This research is a quantitative research using secondary data in the form of annual financial reports that have been published by companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study are property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2016-2020 period. Sampling using purposive sampling method in order to obtain a sample of 14 companies with 70 data. The analytical methods used in this study are descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption test, panel data regression analysis, and hypothesis testing with the help of the statistical program EViews9. Based on the test results, it was found that simultaneously the variables of Profitability and Company Age had an effect on Audit Delay. Partially, the variables of Profitability have no effect on Audit Delay, the variable of Firm Age has an effect on Audit Delay.
