Abstract

Conservation of water resources is very important in the Afdeling area because the water is needed to provide water supply for the plant. The behavior of ethnic Madurese migrants in Kalibaru Afdeling becomes interesting to investigate because it differs from the Banyuwangi indigenous ethnic, Osing. The purpose of this research was to know the habits of the Madurese tribe in the conservation of water resources in the plantation area. This study used a qualitative method with a branched contractile approach, with some informants from three elements such as, residents, community leaders, and village coordinators. The result of this research shows that Sumber Pereng’s inhabitants have some ways to maintain water resource by keeping bamboo and cleaning the area every Rabu Wekasan, while Sumber Limak and Sumber Gueh's inhabitants always change the plants around the water resource, but they do nothing to maintain and conserve it. Water resource conservation is better in Sumber Pereng rather than in Sumber Limak and Sumber Gueh.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt) is a commodity that can be used as food grocery. Generally, farmers cultivate the sweet corn using pesticide fertilizers as the main fertilizer without organic fertilizers as the balancing composition. However, if this process has been done in long time, it will cause an environmental pollution. Organic fertilizer is a relevant solution to substitute inorganic fertilizers, for instance bokashi. This research was aimed to determine the effectiveness of using fermented chicken feces bokashi for the growth of sweet corn. This experimental research uses a completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 factorial patterns. The results from one way ANOVA on sweet corn were obtained: 1) the calculated F value was 24,980 with the significance value is 0.000 for plant height; 2) the calculated F value is 18.646, the significance value is 0.000 for number of leaves; 3) the calculated F value is 43,842 and the significance value is 0.000 on the stem diameter. Thus, it can be concluded that the treatment with bokashi indicated a significant effect on the growth of sweet corn. The results of Duncan's test showed that the treatment with bokashi had a significant difference for the growth of sweet corn. It was caused by the addition of organic composition from bokashi that can increase the content of organic composition and nutrients in the soil. In addition, bokashi has advantages that the other two treatments do not have, against caterpillars and rats. The content of bokashi can protect sweet corn in the vegetative to generative phase. At the 56th day, it resulted the presence of rat caterpillar pests on sweet corn fruit given by NPK fertilizer treatment and negative control (without treatment). Abstract

The outbreak of the corona virus requires all parties to be able to adapt to the industrial era 4.0, this revolution is marked by technological changes that have a strong influence on education, students and educators must be able to adapt to the digital learning process, on the other hand science learning must be in accordance with the nature of science, so that it requires a combination of digital media and approaches that can facilitate the development of the nature of science that has a positive impact on learning outcomes. The purpose of this research is to develop a flipbook maker-based SETS e-module that can be used on environmental pollution materials. This research is a type of R & D, with the ADDIE model development procedure consisting of 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The feasibility test or the validity of the e-module was obtained through validation by two material experts, two language experts, and two media experts, the results obtained 94, 57% for material, 97.5% for language, and 96.53% for media with the acquisition of all three criteria very feasible. Practicality and attractiveness tests were obtained through the response test of educators and students, the results were 92.16% by students with very attractive criteria, and 97.6% by educators with very good criteria. Keywords: E- Modul, SETS, Flipbook Maker

The purpose of this article is to see how developed curriculum management is in an effort to improve quality in education. To improve curriculum management, it must be supported by various parties, such as the government, the community, and educators. Curriculum management will not be satisfactory if it is made in a crude way or follows instructions that are less relevant. To achieve a good and regular educational curriculum activity, it must be made with full consideration from various parties. The curriculum must have quality improvements that can bring the world of education better. This has to do with the demands of the curriculum, it is better for local governments and at lower levels such as schools to have the freedom to program in the education curriculum.

Abstract

Worm infections caused by STH in Indonesia have a prevalence of 50%. One of the spread of STH occurs through soil or fertilizer contaminated with STH. If the soil or fertilizer contaminates vegetables, then the vegetables are potentially contaminated with STH eggs. If these vegetables are consumed by humans, they have the potential to cause diarrhea. This study aims to screen for the presence of STH eggs in vegetables commonly consumed by the public as fresh vegetables, namely cabbage (Brassica oleracea) and basil (Ocimum basilicum). This type of research is descriptive quantitative with cross sectional design. The samples in this study were 5 samples of basil and 5 samples of cabbage, each sample taken from 5 sellers of pecel catfish and grilled chicken along Dasa Darma street, Kec, Rawalumbu, Bekasi City. The sampling technique was done by purposive sampling. Data analysis was carried out with a quantitative descriptive approach. The results of this study showed that 5 samples of basil (100%) were positive for Hookworm eggs while all samples of cabbage were negative for Hookworm eggs. The conclusion of this study is that the use of the sedimentation method can be used as an early detection technique for the presence of Hookworm eggs in basil sold by pecel catfish and grilled chicken sellers along Dasa Darma street, Rawalumbu, Bekasi City. Keywords: STH, basil, cabbage, hookworm, sedimentation

Abstract

The research, which aims to determine the segregation event in the second generation (F2) of honey gourd and the physical form (phenotype) formed, has been carried out from July to November 2021 at the Hydroponic Farm Greenhouse Pondok Bedadung Indah Jember. This research is without a method, but only planting seeds from F1 fruit planted in three places, namely NFT installation, polybag, and soil. Observations were made by weighing the fruit and looking at the physical form (phenotype) of the F2 pumpkin that was formed. The results showed that the shifts collected in F1 were 100% of uniform descent. After planting, segregation occurs and produces six phenotypes. Keywords: F2 phenotype, honey gourd, segregation.
