Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of manipulative media on the mathematics learning outcomes of class VB students at SD Negeri 3 Banjar Kertahayu, Way Pengubuan District. The problem in this research is the low mathematics learning outcomes of class VB SD Negeri 3 Banjar Kertahayu, Way Pengubuan District. The method used in this research is quantitative with the type of pre-experimental research one group pretest-posttest design which is used to determine the effect of a treatment on research subjects. The data of this study were obtained from the pretest and post-test scores, with the instrument in the form of multiple-choice questions of as many as 15 questions. The results of hypothesis testing obtained t count t table that is 6.482 2.056 with a Significant level of 0.000 0.05, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This means that there is a significant effect of using manipulative media on the mathematics learning outcomes of class VB students at SD Negeri 3 Banjar Kertahayu, Way Pengubuan District.

Abstract

Sudah menjadi hal yang nyata tentang perkembangan ilmu tekhnologi berupa permainan modern, sehingga game tradisional mulai dilupakan oleh anak di tingkat dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh game papan titian dan engklek di kelas eksperimen serta menganalisis peningkatan keseimbangan dinamis dalam game tradisional di kelas kontrol. Metode kuantitatif digunakan untuk mencari data melalui desain quasi eksperimen. Data yang diperoleh berasal dari uji instrumental, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji anova dan uji post-hoc. Penelitian dilaksanakan di TK Al Hidayah Plosokerep Kota Blitar pada bulan Januri sampai Juni 2022. Sampel Penelitian berjumlah 30 anak usia dini. Hasilnya yakni adanya pengaruh penggunaan game papan titian dan engklek sebesar 0,9230,60 dan 0,6320,60 ketika dimainkan di kelas eksperimen dan tidak terdapat pengaruh peningkatan keseimbangan dinamis setelah uji post-hoc sebesar 0,0000,05 di kelas kontrol. Kesimpulan setelah melakukan uji tukey yaitu permainan papan titian dan engklek mampu mempengaruhi keseimbangan dinamis di tingkat dasar sebesar 0,8790,05.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the reading ability of grade II C students of SD Negeri 3 Merbau Mataram, Merbau Mataram District, South Lampung Regency. The method used in this research is qualitative with descriptive qualitative research which prioritizes quality with the described results. The number of participants in this study was 45 people, namely 22 students of class II C who were given a test to analyze their reading ability, 22 parents of students, and 1 class teacher. Through the test, it was identified that there were 7 students who had reading difficulties. Researchers collected further data by using interview techniques with these students and their class teachers to find the causal factors. Based on the results of the study, the cause of many students experiencing this difficulty is due to lack of interest in student learning, lack of attention and guidance from parents in improving students' reading ability at home, and differences in intellectual intelligence between one student and another.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the peer tutoring method on the learning outcomes of fifth grade science subjects at SD Negeri 4 Jatimulyo, South Lampung. The method used in this research is quantitative with the type of pre-experimental research one group pretest-posttest design which is used to determine the effect of a treatment on research subjects. The population of this study were all fifth grade students of SD Negeri 4 Jatimulyo, with a sample of the total population. The data from this study were obtained using a multiple choice instrument with 15 questions. The results of this study are quite satisfactory. This can be seen from the results of the posttest score of 2871 which is greater than the total value of the pretest of 2133. The highest posttest score is 100 the highest pretest value is 86. The lowest posttest value is 56, and the lowest pretest value is 26. The total mean posttest is 84.44 pretest 62.73 . That is, the pretest is before the peer tutoring method is implemented and the posttest is after it is implemented. In the calculation of the percentage of 33 students from 34 students, 97% of students have achieved the KKM value from the specified school

Abstract

The problem raised in this study is the school environment which is a forum or place for students who are guided from all knowledge, morals, skills, aspects which are very important things to be fostered in the school environment, so that not only knowledge is prioritized. But especially to the formation of character and also the inculcation of moral values to students who are different in the school environment and of course it cannot be separated from the role of educators who are in the school environment.  This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. This research was conducted on fifth grade students as a sample of 2 informants who were considered to have knowledge and information about the problems studied, namely the Effect of School Environment on Children's Character Building at SDN 01 Marisa, Marisa District, Pohuwato Regency. Data collection uses instruments in the form of; Observations and interviews, as well as in-depth documentation of information. The data were analyzed qualitatively.  By conducting this research, it showed good results in the Research on the Effect of the School Environment on Children's Character Building by interviewing informants who were seen from the aspect of the influence of educators, students, classrooms, playing fields, canteens, while students and educators both had positive influence and also negative influence on the formation of the character of students.
