Abstract

Basically learning is students’ rights. However, there are still a lot ofstudents who do not learn in the classroom. Since a lot of students thatdo not learn, therefore the result of the learning is not maximum inother words the learning is not effective. That’s why one teachers forumis needed to improve the learning to be more effective which is called aslesson study . Concerning with that background above therefore thisresearch aim is: a ) to know the level of achievement of lesson study atMTsN Prigen b ) to know the effectiveness of lesson study in improvingthe learning practice at MTsN Prigen. This research is qualitativedescriptive study. The data collected by observation and interview wasanalyzed by using percentage and score. From the result and dataanalysis it is concluded that: a ) lesson study at MTs Prigen was ‘ goodenough ‘implemented b ) the implementation of t lesson study at MTsNPrigen can improve the effectiveness of learning practice.

Abstract

Education process needs costs. Problems of education financing arestill struggling on the sources of the cost of education, managementeducation costs, and the allocation of the cost of education, as wellas the cost-efficiency of education. The policy of Permendiknas 69 /2009 is a policy that answer education financing. The policy wasstudied through formul ati on anal ysi s, Material /Content,Implementation and Evaluation. The fact suggests that Permendiknas69 / 2009, regulates the costs operating that only lasted for one year,for year 2009 Using the DKI Jakarta bases. It does not regulatei nvestment costs, and personnel costs yet. Therefore, thedetermination of costs every year is needed, and preferably beforethe new school year.

Abstract

The technique of performance assessment in 2013 in curriculum 2013 isused to assess students’ ability to do something. This assessment techniqueis in line with the aim and the characteristics of biology subject at MadrasahAliyah level. As a branch of science, biology has three aspects whichi.e. process, product and attitude. Biology learning is led to reach thosethree aspects. The use of performance assessment technique is in linewith the process aspect in which the Biology learning demands studentsto do scientific performance as a part of learning process. Scientific performance will lead students to learn how Biological knowledge is acquired. So the development ofperformance assessment instruments is really important to be masteredby the teachers of Biology. This is beingmore strengthen by a compulsory assessment on basic competence related to the skill domain as recommended by 2013 curriculum. The steps on developing assessment instrument starts from deciding the skill that will be assessed to thedeveloping observation formand performance assessment rubric is presented on this paper. This article also discuss the position ofperformance assessment based some experts opinions.

Abstract

Restlessness and anxi ety problem of modern soci ety comes fromindividual psychological (internal factor) and from political and socialfactors such as di scriminati on and inj usti ce. To overcome thoseproblems, i mpl ementi ng psychodynamic theory, behavi ori sm,humanism and multiculturalism are not enough. We are introduced tothe fifth approach, that is, Islamic approach. The approach which is basedon the belief, religious knowledge, and worship practices becomes theguidelines, techniques and destination Islamic counseling. The Islamiccounseling is aimed at preventive, curative, rehabilitative development,using spiritual methods which are based on the counselee. Spiritualmethods with techniques of spiritual practice, establish compassion,and reflection al Qudwah al-hasanah. Counselee-centered method is doneby discussion and advice according to the counselees’ interests and values.A counselee is free to choose, plan, decide the behavior and values thatare meaningful to him.

Abstract

The project assessment techni que is one of the assessment techniques used to assess skills aspects of the 2013 Curriculum. The use of project assessment techniques is inseparable from the application of project-based learning models. This technique is believed to be able to assess the ability of learners in conducting investigations by making the report of the investigation as the object of hi s assessment. Project assessment has several advantages mainly related to the development of critical thinking skills of learners as they have to carry out a series of investigative activities. The process of implementing a project assessment technique involves two steps. The first step is more on preparing the learners’ work. The following steps are carried out at the time of project assignment unti l impl ementation of the assessment. Assessment of the project task report can be done using the rubric of assessment either in the form of analytic or holistic. A review of the basic competencies of Biology subjects at the Madrasah Aliyah level indicates some basic competencies that should be assessed by project assessment techniques.

Abstract

A person’s knowledge of religion has different understanding levels of.The differences can be caused by various dimensions. Startingfrom personal experience, normative religious knowledge, as wellas religious knowledge historically. When one’s understandingcan only rely on one-dimensional understanding, when he/shejudges others always assumes those who disagree with him are accusedas heresy, and out of the religious rail corridor. To explore the vastocean of knowledge in religion requires the freedom of the soul, thisattitude will lead people beyond the boundaries of the religions. Notonly explore the understanding of a religious course, but also be able toexplore various cultures and understanding of other religions. Someof them, have dared to explore the limits of inter-religions, where whathe got was a ”universal” understanding. Understanding and personalexperience that can not be expressed in words. Through the study ofreligions, we can be find similarities among others. Those are maturityattitude and be able to understand of other religions. In a contras, thosewhose faith is only based on exoteric understanding only, it meanshis religion’s understanding or merely on textual religion understanding.

Abstract

Diversity (multicultural) is the reality of life. In Madrasah Aliyah, themul ti cul tural phenomenon of students also occurs, due toethnographic, demographi c and status variabl es. In Isl am,diversity is for li-taarofu, knowing and understanding and helping.Counseling assistance to students requires the competence ofmulticultural counseling (KKM). This study describes KKM Guru BKMadrasah Aliyah, including awareness, knowledge and skills ofmulticultural counseli ng and training program of teacher'scompetence improvement BK. This research is a case study withqualitative descriptive. The subject of the research is the teacher ofBK MA alumni of Counseling and Counseling Training at the ReligiousTraining Center of Surabaya. Data collection using questionnairesand interviews. Data analysis was done descriptively qualitative. Theresults showed that, 14 % of teachers BK MA have low competenceand 86% high. Mul ticultural counsel ing as a service to themulticultural client is also increasingly important, so that the trainingfor the increased competence of the BK Teachers is required.Programs of training appropriate to the multicultural component ofcounseling and experimental learning model based on andragogycan be applied to BK Teachers. Increasing the competence ofmulticultural counseling needs to get the attention of Education Hallby designing curriculum and multicultural-oriented syllabus syllabus.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to improve students’ ability inappreciating poetry through inductive model. Method of researchthat is used is Research and Development which is modified. Dataanalysis technique that is used is descriptive analysis. The result ofresearch shows that learning through inductive model that concernthose eight instructional steps can improve students’ ability inappreciating poetry. The improvement can be seen numericallyfrom the average of evaluation result and observation in everytreatment. I n the fi rst i mplementati on, the average score ofevaluation result was 60.9, in the second implementation was 62.4and in the third implementation was 65.3, while the average score ofresult in the implementation I from ’less’ criteria gradually become’enough’ criteria, in the implementation II from ’enough’ criteriagradually become ’good’ criteria an in the implementation III from’good’ criteria gradually become ’very good’ criteria.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to find out :(1) the influence of theexpanded view of the eyes on speed and understanding readingcapability, (2) the influence ofthe acceleration of the eyeballmovement on speed and understanding reading capability, (3) theinfluence ofthe reduction of eye regression patterns on speed andunderstanding reading capability. The hypothesis of this research isthat 3—perpattern has significant influence on speed readingcapability. This study is qualitative approach using quasi experimentalwith Times-Series Design with Control Group model. The data ofthis study were on the students’ score of reading speed and thescore on reading comprehension. The research population werestudents of grade X! SMAN 1 Ngoro Jombang. The decision ofstudents used purposive sampling techniques, the control groupwere students of XI IPA1 dan Experiment group were students of XIIPA 2.The instruments of this study were the instrument form and tryout of the instrument and analyzed using Ancova. The result showedthat the hypothesis were accepted. 3 P pattern influenced significantlyon the capability of reading speed and understanding the level ofsignificance is 0.05. This research recommended that the teachershould implement 3 P in reading lesson plan, and the teacher shouldgive the 3 P pattern treatment in speed reading learning.
