Abstract

The issue of terrorism in Indonesia is one of the main problems of this nation that needs to get serious attention from the government. A series of incidents of terror during this time indicates an unresolved problem in countering terrorism. Based on the problem, the focus of this research study is how the guidance of terrorist prisoners in LP, then how the concept of deradicalization and disengament as an effort penagebulnyanya, and how to actualize the two concepts? This research including the kind of research normative law, while specification this research is descriptive analytical Legal material used in covering primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. The collection of legal materials in this paper is done by doing literature research and document studies. The main approach is doctrinal. Based on the results of research can be concluded that First, the concept of terrorism punishment aims to realize the ultimate goal of coaching, namely rehabilitation and resosialisasi offenders, even to the suppression of crime (suppression of Crime). Second, Deraikalisasi sebgai efforts to eliminate radical understanding can be done in several ways namely, Rehabilitation, reedukasi, resosialisasi, and reintegration. Disengagement aims to break the relationship of former terrorist prisoners not to join their former group. Third, the approach used in actualizing both programs is First Strategy, refining the strategy focused on law enforcement and balanced with prevention and protection efforts to obtain comprehensive results. The second strategy is to utilize the full potential of the state's resources through the involvement of related elements in the superstructure, infrastructure and substructure. The third strategy is to synergize all the sectoral lines in counterterrorism that have been done by various components and not fragmented. For concrete steps in actualizing it there are two things that must be done, namely improving the quality of human resources that have a good understanding of the Prisoner, and classification of inmates as an effort to facilitate in coaching.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to observe the implementation of the guidance of corruption criminal prisoners in Sukamiskin Correctional institution. This research uses a qualitative approach. It concludes that the implementation of guidance in Sukamiskin Correctional Institution has not been in accordance with the concept of Correctional. The guidance on the prisoners of corruption is only the guidance of the personality. The strengthening of religious values conducted by ustadz, priests and other religious leaders. Development of independence does not fit with the concept of correctional. Therefore correctional officers must have expertise in the field and also must have a high sense of devotion. Correctional officers must uphold the concept of correctional based on the principles of Pancasila and continue to view prisoners as God's creatures, as individuals and as members of society.

Abstract

Every a correctional institution is in each region indonesia would surely variegated in terms of any, Like for example is correctional institution for woman and children, where buildings correctional institution for both prisoners were built specifically to its own. But , the sometimes out of sight is that there are several prisoners in indonesia which has background disability. Development process it will also make the law office in criminal justice systems country can be realized with good. To provide training to convict moreover disability , should be understood that basic elements coaching convicts namely the inmate itself , the officers community elements to walk optimally.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to reduce inmates’ prerelease anxiety in Narcotics Prison Class II A Pamekasan using a quasi-experimental single subject design (A-B) in 5 inmates. Instrument used is Taylor Manifest Anxiety Scale (TMAS) of Janet Taylor Spence which has been widely used in Indonesia, including in prisons. Analysis of data using visual analysis and Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and calculating the value of r to determine effect size. The trend line on the visual analysis showed a decrease in inmates’ prerelease anxiety after the intervention Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) is given. Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test showed that there are significant differences in inmates’ prerelease anxiety levels before and after Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) is given (p = 0.042). Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test results in post test 1 and post test 2 showed that no significant differences in inmates’ prerelease anxiety levels (p = 0.785). This means that the results of intervention is likely to be maintained. The results of effect size calculation is done by calculating the value of r (r = 0.65) showed that CBT provides large effect to reduce the level of inmates’ prerelease anxiety. It can be concluded that CBT is effective to reduce the level of inmates'prerelease anxiety with large effect.

Abstract

This writing aims to discuss the implementation of the duties and functions of management of confiscated objects and booty of the state in the Class I Semarang Sitemap Storage House. One of the core business of the implementation of the RUPBASAN duties and functions is the function of saving the confiscated objects of the state that have been mandated in. This paper will see if there is a gap gap when the function of rescuing confiscated objects mandated by Law No. 8 of 1981 concerning the Book of Law on Criminal Procedure (KUHAP) and Government Regulation Number 27 of 1983 concerning the Implementation of the Criminal Procedure Code can work well with support and commitment. related law enforcement officials. It was also explained that the storage of confiscated objects and booty of the State in the RUPBASAN aims to guarantee the protection of the safety and security of confiscated objects for the purposes of evidence at the level of investigation, prosecution, and examination in court as well as objects which are otherwise confiscated for the state based on court decisions which has permanent legal force.This paper uses a qualitative approach. The results of the discussion indicate that the implementation of confiscated objects in RUPBASAN is in accordance with the KUHAP mandate. But in its implementation these tasks and functions have not been optimally supported both from internal institutions and related law enforcement institutions.

Abstract

Illegal levies have been ingrained in the correctional ranks that exist throughout Indonesia. This has become a bad precedent for socialization in the community. With this, it is necessary to improve the integrity and transparent public service system that is provided to service recipient communities to improve public trust in correctional services in prisons and detention centers in Indonesia. Services that can be provided to service recipient communities are services that can be seen directly from the results and transparency in realizing excellent service and quality. Services that are a complaint against indications of illegal levies in prisons and detention are services to visits (bezel), remission proposals, assimilation, conditional leave, free explanatory leave, paid release, and the provision of other services needed by the community and prisoners. To get information that is as clear as possible, this study uses descriptive qualitative research methods by measuring the behavior of officers, prisoners, and prisoners. The research uses in-depth interview methods to visitors (bezel), to prisoners and prisoners as data sampling and direct observation in the Class I Prison in Bandung to find out the actual conditions in the research locus. The results of the study indicate the need for strengthening commitment with all levels of officials and officers in the Bandung Klas I Prison in eradicating illegal levies in providing services, increasing commitment and integrity in services, providing Information technology-based services and strict supervision of the giving of prisoners' rights. Realizing principles and regulations are necessary to provide guidance and training for all Klas I Bandung detention officers to strengthen Integrity in the implementation of tasks. With training and education can provide strength and insight for officers to be able to build integrity and commitment to good service in prison.

Abstract

One of the problems experienced by drug addicts is the loss of confidence due to the effects of consuming drugs. To overcome this one of the techniques used dip re-rehabilitation of Ar rahman drugs is to use motivational interviewing techniques. This technique aims to provide motivation for addicts to change. This study aims to determine the confidence of drug addicts when they enter the rehabilitation of drugs Ar-Rahman, to know the process of motivational techniques Interviewing (MI) in Arrangman Drug Rehabilitation and to know the role from motivational interviewing (MI) techniques. The type of data used is qualitative data. The subjects of this study amounted to 3 people drug addicts, and 1 counselor. Sources of data taken in this study are primary and secondary data sources. Data obtained by using interview methods, observation methods and documentation methods. Data analysis techniques of qualitative data analysis consists of four stages, namely: data reduction (data reduction), presentation data (display data), conclusion drawing and verification. From the research results obtained confidence drug addicts when new re-entry rehabilitation Ar-Rahman drugs that is, often solitary, be closed to others, silent, embarrassed, insecure and always negative thingking (thinking negative) to others, fear, to himself, always be negative, no matter to the environment, reluctant to communicate, not serious, irresponsible, closed and pessimistic about what he does. The process of motivational interviewing (MI) technique carried out by the counselor at Ar-Rahman drug rehabilitation center and the four principles is run, expressing empathy, developing discrepancy, accepting resistance and supporting efficacy. Motivational Interviewing Technique (MI) is very instrumental in overcoming the confidence of drug addicts with the change of attitude behavior and way of thinking, the changes experienced are, the client is more serious, responsible, think and be positive, open to others, optimistic, thinking that is rational, and better understand the feelings of self and others.

Abstract

Punishment while in prison places individuals in a limited environment and experiences pressure. Conditions of pressure can be felt even higher when inmates experience a life sentence. This study aims to explore the factors of resilience of female prisoners with life sentences. Research using semi-structured interviews of five female inmates at the Women Correctional Institution, Malang punished with life imprisonment. Data were analyzed with a qualitative interpretative phenomenological analysis approach. The results of the study conclude that the factors that make female prisoners resilient to life sentences are self acceptance and significant other.

Abstract

Understanding conflict management is very important, especially in Prison Houses and Correctional Institutions. By understanding the conflict of prisoners, it will be able to overcome the vulnerability of conflicts that often end in riots. This study uses quantitative research methods in the form of surveys to measure the tendency of conflict management to prisoners. The results showed that of the five conflict management styles, the majority of respondents chose dominance management styles, then the rankings below were collaborative, compromise, and lastly avoidance management styles. None of the respondents chose the accommodation conflict management style
