Abstract

Background: A tranquillity and inclusive institution is everyone's hope as stated in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In era of industrial revolution 4.0, there were actually various problems due to technological advancements including cybercrime, human trafficking, violence, hoaxes, abuse, which ultimately created institutions that weren’t conducive. Indonesia is the second highest country in the case of cybercrime with a total of 90 million. Most cases of technological abuse occur in adolescence, whereas adolescents are the nation's successors who’re expected to be able to use technology wisely. Objective: To describe the technology utilization among students at STIKes Panti Rapih. Methods: Qualitative study with univariate analysis to find out the technology utilization in daily activity. 112 students of Nursing Diploma Degree Study Program that chosen randomly using the lottery system. Results: 55.4% of students rarely validated the correctness of information and 43.6% didn’t read information until completion, 40% had flaming, 21.8% harassment, 50.9% denigration and trickery, 12,7% impersonation, 32.8% outing, 35.5% exclusion, and 5.5% cyberstalking. Conclusion: Most students do not engage in meaningful misuse of the internet but almost half have not filtering information properly. Keywords: utilization, technology, students

Abstract

Background: Learning clinical practice in a hospital is one of the learning methods used to provide competent nurse assistance. Students who first underwent clinical learning has a level of preparedness that different from each other. Objective: This study aims to identify and analyze the factors that influence the readiness of School of Health Sciences Panti Rapih students to take part in learning the first practice of clinical nursing. Methods: The research was a quantitative analytic survey research using cross sectional approach. The population in the study were students of Nursing Diploma Study Program in School of Health Sciences Panti Rapih Yogyakarta. The sample in this study were all second semester students of Nursing Diploma Study Program at School of Health Sciences Panti Rapih Yogyakarta, who were still active and fulfilled the requirements to attend nursing clinical practice. The research instruments was prepared and developed by researchers and have been tested for validity and reliability with the results of all valid and reliable measuring tools. Results: The first physical readiness of students in learning clinical nursing practice was moderate readiness with 59 respondents (60.8%). Mental psychological readiness of students in attending the first clinical nursing practice learning that states ready as many as 54 respondents (55.7%). Material readiness of students in attending nursing clinical practice learning the first 97 respondents (100%) said they were ready. There is a correlation between physical preparation with mental-psychological readiness with low correlation with a Correlation Coefficient value of 0.273 and a significance value of p = 0.007. There is aminimum correlation between physical preparation and material readiness with a Correlation Coefficient of 0.137 and a significance value of p = 0.187. There is no correlation between mental psychological preparation with material readiness with a Correlation Coefficient value of 0.142 and a significance value of p = 0.16. There is a correlation between age and mental-psychological readiness with a low correlation level with a Correlation Coefficient of 0.302 and a significance value of p = 0.003. Conclusion: Research data on physical readiness, psychological mental readiness and material readiness show that more than 50% of respondents are ready. The results of the analysis show that the first factor influencing students in learning clinical nursing practice is age with a value of p = 0.003 then physical preparation with a value of p = 0.007. Abstract

Background: Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) Is a condition when the arteries that supply blood to the heart wall experience hardening and narrowing. It is estimated that 30% of coronary heart disease causes death worldwide. Objective: This study aims to determine the risk factors for CHD in Panti Rapih Hospital. Methods: This descriptive study aims to determine the risk factors for CHD in outpatients at Panti Rapih Hospital. The population is patients who have been diagnosed with coronary heart disease and the sample was taken by 50 respondents with non-random accidental sampling technique. This research take the data use questionnaire and make univariat analysis. Results: Risk factors for CHD are a number of factors that cannot be changed: family history of 42%, age = 40 years 95% in men and 95% age = 65 years in women. Factors that can be changed are: Smoking 78%, history of hypertension 68%, history of diabetes mellitus 28%, dyslipidemic 90%, excess body weight42% and lack of exercise 38%. Abstract

Background: When children are hospitalized, parents feel stressed. Fifty percent of parents have severe anxiety and 30% of parents experience panic when their child is first hospitalized. Objective: to explore parent’s experience with hospitalized children. Methods: This research is a qualitative descriptive study conducted at a private hospital in Yogyakarta. Data was collected in 2017. Participants in the study were selected using purposive sampling. This research instrument uses a questionnaire and interview guidelines. This research has received an ethical cleareance permit from the Ethics Committee of Ahmad Dahlan University. Data analysis use qualitative descriptive. Results: Emotional responses that arise in parents are sad, crying, anxiety, and worry, the emotional response of children is crying, fear, anxiety and the appearance of boredom, while the emotional response of siblings is anxiety and worry. The behavior and attitude of parents is to pray and try to be sincere and patient. Parents and nurses give support by providing opportunities for children to play and chat. Parents hope that their children can get well soon and get clear information about their child's condition. Conclusion: There are 4 theme in this research, emotional response, the parents behaviour and attitude, Support dan Parents hope. Keywords: parents expereince, children, hospitalized

Abstract

Background: Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs) are infections caused by the growth of bacteria in the urinary tract. UTIs are caused by Escherichia Coli. Continous infection will reach the ureter and kidney which caudes infection in the kidney parenchyma. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of Nursing Diplola level 1 students at STIKes Panti Rapih. Methods: This study was descriptive quantitative survey method. The sample was 65 female students, and using total sampling. Results: Study found that most of the students were aged 18 years old (73.88%). 58 respondents never participate in consultation about UTIs (89,23%) and 7 respondents (10,76%) had participate in education. 30 respondent (36,92%) with high knowledge, 30 (46,15%) morderate knowledge, and 11 (16,92%) low knowledge. Conclusion: Concluded that the level of knowledge nursing students diploma of STIKes Panti Rapih to prevent urinary tract infections less than half percent were morderate. Abstract

Background: Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disorder caused by a reduction or absence of the insulin hormone from pancreatic beta cells, or due to impaired insulin function, or both. If the DM not managed properly can lead several of chronic disease. The education program for type 2 DM patients had been done by nurses, dietitians and doctors in outpatient department, but the quality of implementation has not been discovered. Objective: To describe the implementation of the blood glucose control health education program in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus from the preinteraction phase to the termination phase at outpatient department in a privatehospital Yogyakarta. Methods: An observational quantitative research conducted from March to May 2019 in outpatient department in a private hospital Yogyakarta. Thirty respondents were recruit with accidental sampling technique. The inclusion criteria was nurses who provide health education to patients with type 2 DM. The observation performed during the health education session. Univariate analysis used to analysis the data. The distribution of data presented in frequency and percentage. Results: The majority of respondents (n=25; 83%) performed well, a small proportion of respondent (n=5; 17%) performed pretty good when deliver the blood sugar control health education in patients with type 2 DM from the preinteraction phase to the termination phase. Conclusion: It is necessary to improve the ability of nurses in conducting health education in patients by using standard operating procedures and conducting review of operational standard procedures. Abstract

Background: The postpartum period was a physical and psychological adaptation process. Psychological disturbances could present in form of postpartum blues, postpartum depression, and postpartum psychosis. Objective: The objective of this research was to determine the incidence of postpartum depression, identify predictors of postpartum depression and identify the dominant predictors of postpartum depression. Methods: this research used a cross sectional design. Sample were pregnant women which were chosen by random sampling technique. Data was collected with questionnaire to measure the predictors of postpartum depression was carried out with the Revision Postpartum Depression Predictors Inventory (PDPI) questionnaire and to measure depression scores used with the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS). Data analysis was done by univariate and bivariate analysis with with chi-square statistical tests and multivariate with logistic regression tests. Results: The results showed that the significant predictors were economic status, self-esteem, marital satisfaction, postpartum blues, and prenatal depression. The dominant predictor factor is satisfaction in marriage with a t value of 2.778 times. Conclusion: The results of the study show that marital satisfaction is a dominant predictor of postpartum depression, indicating that marital satisfaction or relationship quality is one of the important support systems because of the need for partner involvement in care actions during the pregnancy period until with the puerperium as efforts to prevent postpartum depression. Abstract

Introduction: Self stigma in people living with HIV/AIDS is a survival mechanism to protect themselves from external stigma. Stigma and discrimination in people living with HIV/AIDS can lead to inequality in sociallife. This inequality can cause inferiority complex, preoccupation, and denial of diagnosis, which correlates with the onset of depression. Objective: To review an intervention that can be use to reduce self stigma on people living with HIV. Methods: Researcher conducted a literature review of studies and reports that assessed the effectiveness of interventions to reduce HIV self-stigma. Databases searched from Science Direct, EBSCO Host, PubMed, and Google Scholar. Article criteria is article which published from 2010-2019. Results: Of 117 articles and reports identified, 3 were included in review representing 4 different interventions which used on reduce self-stigma on peple living with HIV. The interventions are logo therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Family psycoeducation, Stigma Reduction Intervention (SRI). Conclusion: This literature review showed that stigma reduction intervention with workshop, logotherapy, ACT, FPE and stigma reduction intervention with video can reduce self stigma on HIV patients. There is a need for policies to be able to implement these interventions because through the reduction in selfstigma, the effect is in improving patient health and patient medicationadherence. All intervention are promising nterventions to reduces self- stigma because applicable and feasible to implement due to its flexibility, non-invasive and no side effects. Abstract

Background: Myocardial Infarction is one of the major cardiac event that cause of death in the world. One of the first reaction to myocardial Infarction is anxiety, which is a natural response to a life threatening event. High level of anxiety was associated with a higher rate of all cause cardiovascular complication and mortality in the first 3 years following myocardial infarction onset. Objective: This paper purposed to review the best evidence, guideline, or protocol to prevent and control anxiety in patients with myocardial infarction. Methods: A range database was searched to identify studies addressing programs to increase physical function of elderly with heart failure including CINAHL, Proquest, PubMed, and manual searching from the reference list of previous obtained articles. Studies published in English 2006-2015 were included. Results: There were ten studies in the final dataset. Factors related with anxiety were assessed in each study as characteristic and baseline studies. Studies reviewed intervention program to reduce anxiety including health education, relaxation, back massage therapy, whole massage therapy and combination between two interventions. Conclusion: Anxiety management that nurses can use not only health education by giving information about their diseases but they can also give intervention that can decrease their anxiety such as massage and relaxation or by combing together between health education and massage and relaxation. Abstract

Background: Anxiety is often associated with a life-threatening event such as during surgery. The emergence of anxiety begins in the preoperative phase as the initial phase in the surgical process. For someone who is undergoing surgery for the first time, an anxious response will emerge so that it can affect the success of the operation. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the level of anxiety of patients who underwent the first operation at RapihPanti Hospital Yogyakarta. Methods: This research uses descriptive quantitative survey method, with a total sample of 30 respondents using purposive sampling technique. The instrument to assess used was the Hamilton Rating Scale for Anxiety (HRS-A) which was translated into Indonesian. Results: The results showed that the mild anxiety level was in the early elderly 16.7%. The most moderate level of anxiety in the elderly was 13.3% and severe anxiety in late adolescence was 3.3%. Based on gender, the level of mild anxiety was mostly experienced by men 33.3% and moderate anxiety was mostly experienced by women 30%. As many as 60% of patients get information sources on surgery from health workers and seek information on social media independently. Conclusion: The level of anxiety is mild, moderate and severe experienced by all age groups. Types of gender men experience the mild anxiety level and women experience the most moderate level of anxiety. Recommendation for nurses is to provide assistance in knowledge, understanding, and spiritual support, besides the nurses assess the level of anxiety in all patients undergoing surgery. For hospitals develop social media communication as a source of information on surgery.
