Abstract

Staring at a gadget screen too often can have a negative impact on a child's development and health. The consequence or impact of excessive use of gadgets in children is that it worsens the child's motor function abilities and increases the risk of early obesity. Daily screen time or known as daily screen time is a screen time management setting that allows parents to manage application usage. The problem that often occurs in some of the Association of Guardians of SDN 3 Purwanegara students is that on average they are working mothers, either office workers or traders who cannot supervise their children full twenty-four (24) hours. Sometimes after school they don't know where their children are, how long they use their gadgets, and they can't control what applications they access. The aim of this supervision is to protect children from the negative effects of using technology. Especially for working mothers who cannot supervise 24-hour gadget use and monitor their children's location. So that children can avoid bad things that can affect the future. Currently there are many Screen Time & Location Tracker applications that are applications to help parents manage their children's use of technology which can be controlled remotely. One of them is Find My Kids and Google Family Link. This allows parents to set a daily screen time limit to get notifications when that time has been reached and also helps parents know where their child is.

Abstract

Generations are groups of people who are born, grow, and maintain their lives over a certain period and are considered to have the same characteristics and points of view because they are influenced by events that occurred at that time. Generations themselves are classified based on year of birth. There are four generations are Baby Boomers, X Generation, Y Generation, and Z Generation. Each generation has different learning methods, styles, and attitudes. Medical educators have developed and implemented various teaching methods to develop students' abilities more effectively and efficiently in future generations. However, there are barriers related to institutional resources, policies, and support that slow down the transition from traditional face-to-face classes to online classes. The transition itself began to be felt at the beginning of 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic caused very rapid changes, because it forced the implementation of fully online learning without face-to-face options. Students generally respond positively to the transition to online learning, but some students feel dissatisfied when learning online because they face stress and a huge workload. The end of the Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in digital transformation, such as hybrid learning and the medical learning process through mobile-based applications which makes it easier for students to learn from anywhere and at any time. It can be concluded that there are differences in learning methods, styles, and attitudes of medical students from generation to generation, this is due to the rapid development of technology and science, which makes the learning style of the current generation different from previous generations.

Abstract

Anaemia is a condition where there is a decrease in haemoglobin, hematocrit, or erythrocytes count. This condition makes them unable to fulfil their function in providing oxygen to the tissues. Indonesia has a high prevalence of anaemia among pregnant women. Based on RISKESDAS, the number of pregnant women with anaemia has increased every year. Antenatal Care (ANC) services as government policies and strategies can be used as early screening for high-risk pregnancy conditions. This service is very important for pregnant women because one of the minimum standards for ANC services is the administration of Fe tablets. Pregnant women should consume at least 90 tablets during pregnancy. However, some pregnant women in Indonesia do not know the importance of ANC visits and have not made ANC a top priority, especially in remote or rural areas with minimal health facilities. This study is an unpaired categorical analytic study with a cross-sectional approach. Data collection in this study used secondary data derived from medical records. The results of this study's bivariate analysis indicate a relationship between increased haemoglobin levels in pregnant women and the level of antenatal care compliance at the Andalas Community Health Center, Padang City, in 2020. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that pregnant women who experience increased haemoglobin levels mostly have a high level of ANC compliance. However, not all pregnant women who presented at ANC experience an increase in haemoglobin levels. This change is influenced by the level of compliance of pregnant women in consuming Fe tablets. Furthermore, it is necessary to educate pregnant women about the benefits of consuming Fe tablets during pregnancy during ANC visits.
