Abstract

Soil Transmitted Helminth, also known as intestinal worm infection, is the most common worm disease caused by Ascaris lumbricoides, Trichuris trichiura, Strongyloides stercoralis, Necator americanus and Ancylostoma sp. The purpose of this activity is to find out the incidence of worms, provide education and treat worms obtained in Namo Rambe Village. The activity method of this activity is the general lecture. This counseling was considered quite successful as seen from the questionnaires answered by the participants about the clinical symptoms of worms. It can be concluded that this outreach activity is very useful in increasing knowledge and community participation in preventing helminth infections. Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to provide an overview, understanding and alternative forms of student collaboration that can be carried out together in the BK2PTKI – Badan Koordinasi Kemahasiswaan Perguruan Tinggi Kristen Indonesia - Indonesian Christian Higher Education Student Cooperation Agency. At the national meeting with the theme: revitalization of the student body in the era of the kampus merdeka and the sub-theme: strategy for managing student activities in the era of the kampus merdeka, the Presenter Team was given the opportunity to deliver material with the topic: "Cooperation for BK2PTKI Student Activities".  According to the topic, the Presenter Team said that there are several opportunity of collaboration and the possibility of organizing collaborations in organizing joint activities among BK2PTKI members including national competitions, national training, national student scientific meetings, national student publications and others. This collaboration is expected to produce several forms of student activity reports such as MOU documents, MoA documents, and IA documents. In addition, all of collaborations activities will produce student achievements at the national level as well as national student publications. Therefore, the collaboration that will be carried out will support many things, especially in the field of student affairs. Another advantage of this collaboration is support for the accreditation of Study Programs and Institutions, increasing the ranking of institutions at the LLdikti level and the level of the Ministry of Education as well as increasing student ratings at Simkatmawa

Abstract

Ascariasis is a global problem helath with transmission through soil contaminated with helminth eggs. Personal and environmental hygiene as well as knowledge about ascariasis affect the risk of ascariasis. The purpose of this community service is to increase public knowledge about ascariasis. Outreach is given in poster media presentation, questions and answers with the community in Namorambe Village, Deli Serdang. Enthusiasm of the participants and the questions given showed the success of this activity. Education about personal and environmental hygiene and ascariasis needed to reduce the risk of ascariasis.

Abstract

This activity aims to help teachers at SD Negeri No. 104274 Pematang Kasih, Pantai Cermin District, Serdang Regency understands the importance of personal financial planning as well as practical things and basic principles that can be carried out in the context of these activities. Activities carried out in the form of lectures or seminars attended by 20 teachers at the school. Abstract

Information technology related to online business transactions is growing very rapidly. Business actors and consumers, both in urban centers and in areas, use information technology to shop or transact, including transactions for goods labeled with Well Known Marks (Famous Brands) that are protected by Trademark Law, which are traded through online system facilities. In online transactions related to well-known brand products, there are still violations that are detrimental to the brand owner. In connection with this, it is important to conduct socialization to the community, including teenagers who are also very potential consumers of branded goods that are traded through the internet. Nationally, Well Known Marks in Indonesia are regulated based on Article 4 and Article 6 of Law no. 20 of 2016 concerning Brands. Meanwhile at the international level the provisions governing Famous Marks are through the provisions of Article 6bis of the Paris Convention and Article 16 (2) of the TRIPs Agreement. Online business transactions in Indonesia are regulated by Law no. 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions. In connection with the rapid development of transaction practices for well-known branded goods through the online system, for the sake of legal protection for both well-known brand owners and consumers, especially teenagers who tend to be adaptive to changes in new trends, it is important to understand the legal provisions, both trademark law and trademark law. information technology law as regulated in UU No. 20 of 2016 and the U.U. No. 11 of 2008 and PP No. 71 Year 2019

Abstract

  The Aims of the Thematic Field Practice (PLT) which carried out by students of the music arts study program and English literature study program at HKBP Nommensen University in Dataran Tinggi Village, East Binjai, Binjai City is to improve children's abilities in music and English. Lecturers together with students developing and applying knowledge and skills in real life on the field and in the community, so the students would be able to develop not only in the scope of campus but also in the outside community. The benefits to the community, especially children, are the increasing and insight of knowledge gained outside of the school and successfully increase in knowledge both theoretically and practically in terms of music and English. The method used was the training method and conducting interviews with local residents, namely the residents who provide a place to conduct music and English training.

Abstract

During adolescence, a person tends to be more motivated to explore sexual experiences and if done without guidance and direction, it can cause adolescents to engage in risky sexual behavior. One of the risks of active sexual behavior is Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs). The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge about how to recognize the signs and symptoms of PMS and STD prevention efforts to students at SMAN 1 Silima Pungga Pungga. The method of this activity is question and answer counseling and games. This activity was considered quite successful, judged by the enthusiasm of the participants to ask questions and feedback from participants who stated that this counseling was considered interesting and useful.
