<![CDATA[The spread of COVID 19 throughout the world, especially in Indonesia has changed the way how people live. Some significant changes including medical, education, economy, and social relations. The use of technology and the internet are necessity for people in adapting to the corona viruses’ impact. Indonesia’s government has issued policy to learn from home, so that the face of education in this country has changed significantly. Learning is no longer done in schools building because learning can be done anywhere, anytime, with unlimited learning resources in internet. However, this flexibility in learning has not been supported by the learner readiness in many level of education, including in higher education. There are complaints from student related to the distance learning system. Psychology programs are needed in order to improve students' soft skills in managing their learning to be a self-regulated learner, so that they can manage the obstacles they face, and be happy in undergoing the distance learning process.]]>

<![CDATA[Each region certainly has natural resources that can be used by the community to be processed and used as a source of income. Good natural resources are not sold raw but must be processed and made into a product so that the economic value of these natural resources are high. Based on rules, one of the elements in charge of cultivating and developing natural resource potentials to have high value is the village. Villages have a very important role in determining how to manage their resources. Villages that are active and creative will maximize the potential of their natural resources to bring economic value and welfare of their citizens. The emergence of independent villages and developed villages started from a correct understanding of their natural potential resources and began to process them appropriately and well planned. For this reason, this community service activity is carried out, in order to increase the understanding and open the mindset of the apparatus and villagers on how to develop the natural potential resources in their village. This community service activity is carried out by means of presentation and discussion methods taking place in the village hall. The results of this service will conclude what potential the ulak pandan village has and how to make the ulak pandan village develop their natural potential resources with the hope that the ulak pandan village can become a more advanced village in the future.]]>

<![CDATA[Church Music and Organ Training in Humbang Habinsaran Siborong-borong is one of the goals to help the music team in worship services at the HKBP church. The basic method to be applied in community service is descriptive method. In addition, the approach method used is the skill / skill training method for playing music and organ techniques, so that good and correct music playing techniques are produced. The method of mentoring and teaching playing music and organs both individually and collectively for the music team with the aim of fostering a sense of self-confidence, such as not being awkward, embarrassed, insecure about one's shortcomings, so that music playing activities can be done happily. The process of training for music and church organs is carried out by means of teaching methods both orally and in theory, which are applied through methods of education, training and mentoring. Through both oral teaching methods, theory and practice (demonstration) in this training activity was considered quite successful. Success indicators can be seen and evaluated through small performances carried out jointly by the music team with a song lieder in the last activity carried out in the training.]]>

<![CDATA[Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from mild to severe symptoms. The increase in the number of COVID-19 cases is happening fast enough and there has been a spread between countries. Based on scientific evidence, COVID-19 can be transmitted from human to human through droplets, not through the air. Standard recommendations for preventing the spread of infection are regular hand washing with soap and clean water, practicing coughing and sneezing, avoiding direct contact with livestock and wild animals and avoiding close contact with anyone showing symptoms of respiratory illness such as coughing and sneezing. This community service is in the form of counseling that aims to provide correct information and knowledge about COVID-19, its transmission and prevention to students at Santa Maria Medan Private High School so it is hoped that it will help in breaking the chain of COVID-19 transmission which is increasingly rampant.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstrak Coronavirus adalah keluarga besar virus yang menyebabkan penyakit mulai dari gejala ringan sampai berat. Penambahan jumlah kasus COVID-19 berlangsung cukup cepat dan sudah terjadi penyebaran antar negara. Berdasarkan bukti ilmiah, COVID-19 dapat menular dari manusia ke manusia melalui percikan batuk/bersin (droplet), tidak melalui udara. Rekomendasi standar untuk mencegah penyebaran infeksi adalah melalui cuci tangan secara teratur menggunakan sabun dan air bersih, menerapkan etika batuk dan bersin, menghindari kontak secara langsung dengan ternak dan hewan liar serta menghindari kontak dekat dengan siapapun yang menunjukkan gejala penyakit pernapasan seperti batuk dan bersin. Pengabdian masyarakat ini berupa penyuluhan yang bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi dan pengetahuan yang benar mengenai COVID-19, penularan dan pencegahannya kepada para pelajar di SMA Swasta Santa Maria Medan sehingga diharapkan akan membantu dalam memutuskan mata rantai penularan COVID-19 yang semakin meraja lela. <![CDATA[The development of MSMEs in North Sumatra is quite good, namely around 2.8 million business units, and has contributed quite well to economic growth in North Sumatra and Medan in particular. MSMEs in the city of Medan are not seen as an alternative, but have become the backbone or foundation of the economy in Medan. There are 3 (three) things that must be considered and improved to strengthen the foundations of MSMEs, namely, finance, increase in human resources, and innovation in marketing models. The Yoppie Belawan Community is one of the home industries in Medan Belawan District. Precisely on Jalan Selebes Belawan II, Medan Kota Belawan, North Sumatra 20411. Since the beginning of 2020, the Yoppie Belawan Community started a catfish farming business. In April 2020, this community decided to process catfish meat into something more valuable and able to help this community increase their income and welfare during the current pandemic. After going through various considerations, it was decided to process catfish meat into Shredded Catfish with the IndoFish Shredded Catfish brand.]]>

<![CDATA[The Covid-19 pandemic has had a tremendous impact not only in Indonesia, but throughout the world. Without exception, the church was affected by its influence. This situation is expected to inspire the millennial generation to keep thinking creatively, and take real action, and to always be a channel of blessing in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic which may still be prolonged. Young people have played an important role in the history of the Indonesian nation, as well as the church. Including the current millennial generation, who have fluency, flexibility, elaboration and originality in thinking. The use of digital media in worship music in churches during this pandemic is a reflective analysis of the birth of popular culture in the church today ”. This shows that: digital media in church services as a result of the sparks and cultural influences that have long stopped by and been accepted by the church,. However, it is hoped that every Christian has an optimistic attitude and views popular culture from a positive perspective, so that he can accept the positive as an effective media communication for the advancement of church ministry in the future.]]>

<![CDATA[Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is still a disease that is feared especially in the tropical countries including Indonesia. Continuous efforts are needed in terms of preventing dengue hemorrhagic fever. The purpose of this activity is to provide an explanation of various ways to prevent dengue hemorrhagic fever and at the same time provide an opportunity for students to act as ambassadors for the environment. The method of this activity is in the form of community counseling. This counseling was considered quite successful, seen from the enthusiasm of the participants in asking questions about DHF. It can be concluded that this outreach activity is very useful in increasing knowledge and community participation in the prevention of dengue hemorrhagic fever.]]>
