Abstract

Every production process in a company can not be separated from all the dangers and risk of accident occupational. Therefore, in a company the need for Occupational Health and safety program to reduce and prevent work accidents. This observation aims to determine the application of Occupational Health and safety pre-press production section at PT Nusantara Grafika. This method of data collection are interviews, observations, and library studies. The object of observation that is labor in the Pre-Print section of PT Nusantara Grafika. Based on the results of this observation, the advice that can be submitted is that PT Nusantara Grafika should improves Occupational Safety and Health in the production area, especially pre-press parts so that the implementation of OHS is more effective.Keywords— Procedure, Productivity Value, Personal Protective Equipment, Pre-Press.

Abstract

Companies that have poor performance can be seen from the irregular work situation, the number of project items or reworks, the bad employee attendance scores and so on. How to implement the 5R, because the 5R is a management system in maintaining order, efficiency and discipline in the workplace, as well as increasing overall company performance. 5R is the first indicator to assess the good and bad performance of a company. However, it is unfortunate that not all companies understand the importance of (K3) and how to implement it in a corporate environment. The writing method used is descriptive method. The purpose of writing: To determine employee understanding of the 5R program in Occupational Safety and Health, to determine the implementation of the 5R program in Occupational Safety and Health which is run at PT. Pura Barutama Kudus Offset Unit, to find out the implementation of the 5R program in controlling Occupational Safety and Health which is carried out by PT Pura Barutama Kudus Offset Unit. Abstract

In-depth observations have been made on the printing process using the Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 102 machine. In this process, the ink unit becomes the biggest concern because of its role in the quality of the printout. Observations are made directly in the field on routine procedures carried out and discuss events in the field to identify problems and determine actions. The results of the study indicate that there are several things that must be improved related to the routine maintenance schedule, the technical setup of the inking unit and identification of potential problems as a reference for improving standard operations in the field.Keywords—Inking unit, offset printing machine, speedmaster machine

Abstract

Ink quality study have been observed on ink products in the market as a right confirmation of ink users for printint production. The study is also conducted to ensure the suitability of the ink with the printing materials and machines used by consumers. The observation was conducted on two brands of ink from the same manufacturer. The quality data studied were viscosity, spreadability, drying time, density and L*a*b. The results show that, although both inks are produced by the same manufacturer and are intended for the same market, there are differences in quality, namely one has a higher viscosity and a faster drying time than the other.Keywords—quality of printing ink, viscosity, spreadability, drying time, density and L*a*b

Abstract

Every production process in a company is inseparable from all the dangers of disease and occupational accidents for workers. So in a company it is necessary to implement occupational safety and health in order to reduce and prevent occupational diseases and accidents. In carrying out occupational safety and health at PT Pantja Simpati, PT Pantja Simpati has several problems that can cause illness and work accidents such as unavailability of personal protective equipment, non-functioning air vents, employees smoking in the production room, employees drinking in the production section. part. areas, fire fighting equipment lacks lighting, damaged ceilings or roofs, untidy cables, and slippery production floors. Ways to avoid work accidents such as providing PPE and APAR, repairing damaged equipment, and taking firm action against workers. Abstract

In-depth observations have been made on the web printing process for newspaper production. Observations were made to identify problems related to the tension of the roll paper used in the production of newspapers. The problem of roll-paper tension is observed from the main material, the upstream process (Reelstand Unit), the printing process and its supporting units such as the wetting unit, inking unit and in the folder unit which is a contineous process. From observing the problems in the printing process, the causes and solutions to the problems were identified which were then used as an operating standard reference for the newspaper production using a web offset printing machine.Keywords—web offset printing machine, newspaper, paper tension

Abstract

Duplex cartons will be one type of carton that is widely used as a primary or second packaging. Duplex cartons have hygroscopic properties that can be salted on the physical and quality of the carton duplex. The value of this Final Task paper is the way of quality of cardboard in the field and the efforts of the process and who is in the field champion of The Indonesian National Standard (SNI 0123:2008). While the purpose of this writing is For those who know the process of creation of duplex carton quality 350 gr / m2, To understand the results of the creation of the quality of both duplex cartons from different companies, and For to dye the quality of cartons 350 gr / m2 in the market of different companies. Which method in writing this Final Task paper is the Task Related to Indonesian National Standards (SNI 0123:2008). Located from the creation and duparan quality of its own results, the two duplex cartons there are different qualities, for the production of PT X. Cobb value which is passionate and quality questions according to SNI 0123:2008 while for the production of PT Y. brightness value who can not be questioned sni 0123:2008. SNI 0123:2008 was prepared with the purpose of standardization, but the standard provisions were not met and not supervised in companies that do not apply sni standard 0123:2008, but in companies that apply sni standard 0123:2008 found also incompatible, therefore it is recommended to be carried out monitoring periodically.Keywords— Quality duplex carton, Duplex Carton, SNI 0123:2008

Abstract

Paper is the most widely used print media, made with cellulose fibers derived from tree wood and non-fiber. The existence of paper is a tool that is quite important in human civilization and its needs continue to increase from year to year. The tear resistance of paper greatly affects the printing process. The value of tear resistance is influenced by several factors, namely the size of the fiber, besides that it is also influenced by the number of bonds between the fibers, grammar, humidity, moisture content, fiber direction, adhesive on the paper. The purpose of this final project is to determine the value of paper tear resistance which is better between two types of 120 gram Mattpaper paper products, namely New Victory Luxe and Nevia products and also to determine the effect of paper tear resistance on the printing process. The writing method used is descriptive method with data collection / observation, testing and literature techniques. Based on the results of the tear resistance test with the Elmendorf test method, which is to test the tear resistance of a paper, the tear resistance value of Nevia paper products is better than New Victory Luxe paper products.Keywords—Resistance, Paper, Mattpaper

Abstract

The perfection of the paper transportation settings raised in the Final Project work aims to achieve print accuracy, the benchmark for print accuracy is the achievement of perfection of print ink stacks on the printed results guided by the register point / print mark. Overview of the need for paper transport settings so that the printing process can run smoothly. In making this final project, the author uses a descriptive method, namely a method that explains and explains about paper transportation. The formulation of the problem that is taken in this final project is how to set up paper transportation, problems that arise during paper transportation, and solutions that can be done to overcome these problems. In this paper, the authors use literature review, field observations, and interviews related to data. From the results of these observations, it can be shown that the problems that occur at the time are caused by paper transportation settings that are not in accordance with standard work procedures.
