Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. The goal of the study is to see how the circuit training approach affects the speed of wall-climbing by athletes from the Indonesian Rock Climbing Federation (FPTI) on the Pekanbaru City Speed World Record Line. Materials and methods. A research technique using an experimental methodology of one group pretest-post test design, in which a pretest is administered before therapy is administered. The study's population included the whole Indonesian Rock Climbing Federation (FPTI) Pekanbaru City, which included six male athletes. Results. We apply the t-test procedure to test the hypothesis, and we receive tcount = 7.01 from the t-value calculation, which we then compare to the ttable value. The value of ttable = 2.132 is known from table t, indicating that tcount is larger than ttable. As a result, the accepted hypothesis and the effect of circuit training on the ability to climb wall-climbing speed with a 19.31% increase in ability. Conclusions. Circuit training provides a 19.31% increase in speed for wall climbing athletes, according to data analysis

Abstract

The purpose of the study. To find out how far the influence of physical components (physical fitness) which includes speed, leg explosive power and balance on long jump ability. Materials and methods. This research is descriptive with regression technique which gives a general description about agility, limb explosive power and balance with long jump ability. The research subjects used were 40 people. With a random sampling technique, the data is processed using a correlation technique through the help of the SPSS program. Results. From the data analysis, the results obtained are: (1). There is a significant effect of speed on the long jump ability, with the value of r arithmetic (r0)=0.687 (P<0.05) with a contribution value of 47.2% (2). There is a significant effect of limb explosive power on Long Jump Ability. with a calculated r value (r0) = 0.504 (P<0.05) with a contribution value of 25.4% (3). There is a significant effect on the balance of Long Jump Ability, with a calculated r value (r0) = 0.415 (P<0.05) with a contribution value of 17.2% (4). There is a significant effect together in terms of speed, leg explosive power, balance on Long Jump Ability, with a calculated r value (r0) = 0.725 (P < 0.05) with a contribution value of 52.6%. Conclusions. From the results of data processing, it shows that it has a significant influence from data analysis, namely speed, leg explosive power and balance on long jump ability

Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect between explosive leg muscle power and the results of the students' long jump (Tuck) style. Materials and methods. This is due to the low physical condition of students so that they do not produce maximum explosive power of the leg muscles. This research was conducted using a correlational research design. Based on the results of research that has been carried out on students of Senior High School in Kampar Districs. Results. the value of count=0.811>ttable= 0.514. Obtained r = 0.811 including very strong category. Significance test using the t-test Significance formula. From the calculation results, it is known that t count = 5.006 while t table = 1.771. So t count = 5.006>ttable = 1.771. Thus, a conclusion can be drawn that: There is an effect of explosive power in the leg muscles with the results of the long jump squatting style for students of Senior High School in Kampar Districs. Conclusions. Thus, a conclusion can be drawn that: There is an effect of explosive power in the leg muscles with the results of the long jump (Tuck) style for students.

Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. The goal of this research was to see how leadership support for sports infrastructure affected the frequency with which people participated in sports. Materials and methods. Tests and observations were used as data collecting strategies. The data was descriptively and qualitatively examined. Results. The study's findings demonstrate that while Pahlawan University's infrastructure does not meet all of the requirements, it is already usable. Conclusions. Although there is leadership support, it is still insufficient, causing current participants to underutilize existing infrastructure owing to the civitas' hectic working hours.

Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in extracurricular spint abilities of male students at SMP Negeri 03. The research method was this study using an experiment with a quasi-experimental type of research and the research pattern used in this study was a nonequivalent control group design. Materials and methods. This design involves two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group, and the time of the study was carried out in June 2021. The subjects of this research were 10 extracurricular students of SMP Negeri 03 Bangkinang, Kampar Regency. Results. The results of this study can be concluded that the results of the 100 meter sprint ability of male extracurricular students at SMP Negeri 03 Bangkinang Kampar Regency with an average sprint ability of 100 meters 0.933, thus it can be concluded that by using the hollow sprint method on acceleration can improve the ability to run 100 sprints. Conclusions. Based on the results of data analysis, description, testing of research results and discussion, conclusions can be drawn based on the results of calculations that have been carried out, a significant value of 1.080 1.054 is obtained. Thus, the hypothesis states that there is a significant difference between the hollow sprint and accelerating sprint exercises on the 100-meter running speed of male students of SMP Negeri 3 Bangkinang in the 2020/2021 academic year, which is acceptable.

Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. The aim of this study is to identify the prevalence of participants in physical activities, the motivation needed by the students to engage in the activity, challenges encountered by the implementors, health benefits, and recommendations and suggestions needed for the improvement of the implementation. Materials and methods. Using Arksey and O’Malley’s (2005) scoping review framework, a systematic analysis of the data of different articles was conducted. Results. It was found out that the implementation of active recreational activities offers different health benefits to the youth, physical literacy and orientation and motivation played a vital role in the implementation of the recreational activities. Conclusions. Therefore, the implementation of the active recreational activities must be strengthened in schools not just for the sake of participation but because they are motivated to. And the engagement of these activities must not only limit to school grounds but also engaged even at home and in the community.

Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. Reaction time is a determining factor in sports, especially in martial arts. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the reaction time of UKM Karate athletes at Syiah Kuala University. Materials and methods. The approach in this study uses a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, which means this technique is used to achieve certain goals. The samples in this study were athletes from UKM karate at Syiah Kuala University. The data collection technique was carried out by using the whole body reaction test to measure the reaction time of the athlete's arms and legs. Results. results of the research in the form of a whole body reaction test, the results using the formula for the average value and the total percentage can be concluded: (1) The arm reaction time test with the total average value for male athletes is 0.169 seconds and female athletes are 0.173, and the highest percentage is in the very good category, amounting to 87% for male and female athletes, 75% in the very good category and (2) the limb reaction time test has an average value of 0.269 seconds for male athletes and female athletes of 0.361 seconds, with the highest percentage value amounted to 100% in the good category for male athletes and for female athletes it was in the sufficient category with a percentage of 50%. Conclusions. the analysis show that most athletes have been able to maintain and increase reaction time well, to be able to improve and maintain it, regular and continuous training is needed
