Jurnal Genre (Bahasa, Sastra, dan Pembelajarannya) merupakan jurnal ilmiah mahasiswa pada Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Satra Indonesia, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan. Jurnal ini menerbitkan hasil penelitian mahasiswa yang berhubungan dengan pengajaran bahasa dan sastra Indonesia, kajian linguistik dan pengajarannya, serta kajian sastra dan pengajarannya. Jurnal ini terbit 2 kali setahun, Agustus, dan Februari. E-ISSN = 2716-2613. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menampung hasil penelitian mahasiswa Prodi PBSI, UAD dan di luar UAD yang memiliki jalinan kerja sama. Ruang lingkup jurnal ini adalah mahasiswa perguruan tinggi pada prodi PBSI yang berkerja sama dengan UAD. Fokus jurnal ini adalah pengajaran bahasa dan sastra Indonesia, kajian linguistik dan pengajarannya, serta kajian sastra dan pengajarannya.

<![CDATA[Stylistics is basically the activity of writers using language, especially language that triggers creativity to sort out the use of language. In this research using the study of stylistics in the poetry anthology of "Negeri Dongeng" by the students of Peradaban University. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data in this study are descriptive words in the Poetry Anthology of "Negeri Dongeng" by Indonesian Language and Literature Education Students at the Peradaban University and reference books related to research. Data collection techniques with document analysis that starts from the stages of reading, recording, and analyzing data in the Anthology Poem "Negeri Dongeng". The data validity technique in this research is data triangulation. The purpose of this research is to explain the study of stylistics in the anthology of "Negeri Dongeng" poetry by Peradaban University Students. The results of this study are to explain 6 problems regarding the use of sound style, word style, sentence style, discourse style, the existence of figurative language in the use of figurative language types: metaphor, personification, paradox, hyperbole. While the use of images, namely: vision, hearing, smell, motion, touch. Which is dominated by figurative language imagery.]]>

<![CDATA[Understanding the meaning in communication becomes an important aspect of life. So that the intentions and objectives can be conveyed when communicating. The purpose of this study is to describe the contextual meaning in the novel if someday by Sifa Mermeida. The benefits of this study are (1) as material to add knowledge about the contextual meaning contained in the novel if someday (2) as a reference for further research. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive description. Research using reading and note taking techniques. The results of research from the novel if someday that the contextual meaning contained in the contents of the story makes the delivery of intent more interesting. Contextual meaning can be known from the markers in the sentence such as the context of the situation, place, object that refers to the conversation.]]>

<![CDATA[Development of the Indonesian language learning module by learning the steps of the module learning to develop it, where the steps of this activity are designed so that participants can carry out literacy training activities and drive the 5M concepts that are supported to support, ask questions, reason, try, and draw, in addition , this module also helps train students according to what was agreed in the 21st century or what is often referred to as 4C skills. Critical thinking, creative, collaboration and communication. Character education in this case the character of independence that exists in learners will also be instilled through this module. This type of research is Reasrch and Development (R&D). The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique. The method of collecting data in a trial was using a questionnaire. The instrument for eligibility is reviewed from the module. The final stage of this development is the feasibility and effectiveness test. <![CDATA[This study aims to describe the deviations of politeness language principles that occur in teaching-learning interactions and the causes of these deviations. Type of qualitative research. The main focus of this research is the utterances that occur in teaching-learning interactions to determine the form, type, and causes of deviations in politeness principles of language. Data collection techniques used are the SBLC technique (see free and capable conversation), note taking techniques and record techniques. The results showed that (1) the types of deviations in the language politeness principle that occurred in the interaction of teaching and learning of students in SD Muhammadiyah Pakel Plus Program consisted of deviations of wisdom maxims, deviations of generosity maxims, deviations of praise maxims, deviations of modesty maxims, deviations of agreement maxims, and deviations of wisdom maxims. maxim of agreement, (2) the cause of deviations in the politeness principle of language that occurs in the interaction of teaching and learning of students in SD Muhammadiyah Pakel Plus Program includes irregularities caused by speakers intentionally accusing the interlocutor, deliberately not speaking in context and criticizing directly with harsh words.]]>

<![CDATA[The problems examined in this study are (i) What are the characteristics of the Belian Bawo Dayak Benuaq treatment in the Barong Tongkok District, West Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan Province; (ii) What is the function of the Belian Bawo Dayak Benuaq tribal medicine in the Barong Tongkok District, West Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan Province. The objectives of this study are (i) To describe the characteristics of the Dayak Benuaq Belian Bawo treatment spells in Barong Tongkok District, West Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan Province; (ii) Describe the function of the Dayian Benuaq Belian Bawo Belian treatment spells in Barong Tongkok District, West Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan Province. The method used in this study is an analytical method using observation techniques, structured interviews, notes, records and listening. The results obtained from the analysis of data that has been done by the author, it was found that Biano Belian utterances in the form of (i) Mantra consists of several series of words that have elements of rhythm and rhyme; (ii) Are oral, magical or magical; (iii) Asoferik (special language between speaker and interlocutor); (iv) Many words that are less commonly used in daily life. The function of the Dayak continent medicine mantras is based on the analysis of its functions, namely (i) The function of the mantra as a social control tool (advice); (ii) The function of the mantra as a reminder (warning); (iii) The function of the mantra as tolerance; (iv) The function of the mantra as a means of prayer.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to provide an alternative offer of vocabulary learning models adapted from learning models in pesantren. Observations made during June 2019 and interviews with informants who have woven pesantren education and intruspection methods were applied in this study. In the pesantren environment, especially modern pesantren, vocabulary learning is done in a practical way. Speaking skills in the current context are focused on modern pesantren. In the pesantren tradition, especially traditional pesantren, vocabulary learning takes precedence over the strengthening of scientific terms, especially those contained in classical texts (kitab kuning). In the combination learning model, which is generally applied in semipesantren, the vocabulary learning is carried out on two lines: the classical and practical paths. This study offers the concept of learning on the basis of vocabulary mapping based on the needs and relationships between learners and BIPA teachers.]]>

<![CDATA[Children with hearing impairment are children with hearing loss who are classified into deaf and hard of hearing. The direct impact of disability is the obstruction of verbal / verbal communication, both speaking (expressive) and understanding the conversations of others (receptive). Obtaining the first language of a deaf child can be done with total communication. Total communication is the most effective communication system because in addition to using a form of communication orally or called oral, the activity of reading, writing, reading utterances, is also equipped with a form of cues. The purpose of this study was to determine the acquisition of language of children with special needs (deaf) in understanding language. Subjects in this study are children with special needs who experience speech impairment (hearing impairment) while the object of this study is focused on only one child, Mila Erdita, a 15-year-old child. This research refers to case studies with descriptive research type. Data collection techniques in this study will be done in three ways, namely; observation techniques, interview techniques, and documentation techniques. In this research, data processing that will be done is to describe the speech data of deaf children to see the acquisition of children's vocabulary. The results of this study indicate that deaf children can obtain a language of total communication using a form of communication orally or called oral, with the activities of reading, writing, reading utterances, also equipped with signs]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the relationship of the poetry of the mother of tears by M.H Ainun Najib with the poem of the mother of Widji Tukul. Analysis in this theory uses a comparative literary theory that discusses metaphors, symbols and relevance in both poems. The method of this study uses an intertextuality approach. This research found the mother's figure as a parent and in God's eyes so that there is a relationship that connects a mother's tears in God's eyes with a mother's tears for affection for her children, namely the relation of Islamic elements in the contents of the two poems.]]>

<![CDATA[Alif means the first, saying the Supreme Life and is Sturdy and has the element of fire and Alif is formed from Ulfah (closeness) ta'lif (formation). With this letter Allah mementa'lif (unite) His creation with the foundation of monotheism and ma'rifah belief in appreciation of faith and monotheism. Therefore, Alif opens certain meanings and definitions of shapes and colors that are in other letters. Then be Alif as "Kiswah" (clothes) for different messages. That is a will. "IQRO" is a revelation that was first passed down to the Prophet Muhammad. Saw. Read it, which starts with the letter Alif and ends with the letter Alif. The creation of a poem is influenced by the environment and the self-reflection of a poet where according to the poet's origin, in comparing in particular Alif's poetry from the two poets. The object of this research is the poetry of Zikir by D. Zawawi Imron and Sajak Alif by Ahmadun Yosi Herfanda. This study uses a comparative method and sociology of literature. Through a comparative study of literature between the poetry of Zikir D. Zawawi Imron and Sajak Alif Ahmadun Yosi Herfanda, it is hoped that the public can know the meaning of Alif according to the poet's view. With this research, the Indonesian people can accept different views on the meaning of Alif in accordance with their respective understanding without having to look for what is right and wrong. The purpose in Alif is like a life, in the form of letters like a body, a tree that is cut to the root, from the heart is split to the seeds, then from the seeds are split so that nothing is the essence of life. So, it is clear that Alif is the most important and Supreme letter. Talking about the meaning of Alif as the first letter revealed on earth. After the letter Alif was revealed, 28 other Hijaiyah letters were born. The letter Alif is made the beginning of His book and the opening letter. Other letters are from Alif and appear on him.]]>
