Abstract

The background of writing this article is that there are often differences of opinion about the relationship between the Qur'an and science. Some argue that the Qur'an is the source of everything, including science. Meanwhile, in other places, there are also those who argue that although the Qur'an is complete and perfect in its contents, it is not the source of everything. To gain knowledge, it is not enough just to read the Qur'an, but it must be accompanied by thought and research. Because the contents of the Qur'an cannot be said to be scientific knowledge. Due to frequent differences of opinion regarding the relationship between the Qur'an and science, the author feels the need to elaborate more deeply on Abdul Adim's thoughts on the relationship between the Qur'an and science in his book Philosophy al-Ma'rifah fi al-Qur'an. al-Karim. In this article, we find practical ways to find the correct knowledge according to the Qur'an in Abdul Adim's view. According to him, there are two methods in the epistemology of science, namely the method of hearing and the method of using reason. Each of the two methods has its own procedures.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the reception of QS. Yāsīn :9 as a protective ritual in Islamic literature. The social interaction between the Qur'an and its readers gave birth to various kinds of receptions for it, for example reading the QS. Yāsīn[36]:9 as protection to prevent the house from being stolen. Studying the origins of where this phenomenon originates and how it can develop to become a protection ritual is something interesting to study. Therefore, to achieve this goal, synchronic-diachronic analysis and the theory of informative-performative aspects of Sam D. Gill are used by using Islamic literature as a source to track them, so that the process of transmission and transformation can be seen. The literatures are (1) al-Sīrah al-Nabawiyyah Li Ibn Hisyām by Ibn Hisyām (2) Tafsr al-Qur'ān al-'Aẓīm by Ibn Kaṡīr (3) Mawsū'ah Faḍāil Suwar wa yāt al-Qur' ān by Shaykh Muḥammad bin Razzaq. After analyzing it, it was found that: First, it turns out that this phenomenon originates from the experience of the Prophet Muhammad when he wanted to be killed by the Quraysh infidels based on narrations. Second, synchronously-diachronically, this phenomenon occurs in the transmission process, a transformation process occurs. Third, the transformation process that occurs in this phenomenon can be seen by the different receptions by each author of the book from time to time, namely Ibn Hisyām and Ibn Kaṡīr doing informative receptions, while Shaykh Muḥammad bin Razzaq doing performative receptions.

Abstract

The Qur’an is the first source of law in Islam so it has received great attention from various circles. Many works have emerged inspired by the Qur'an from both Sunnis and Shiites. One of the monumental Shiite works that appeared in the 6th century AH was the book tafsir Majma 'al-Bayân fi Tafsir al-Qur'ân written by al-Fadhl ibn al-Hasan ibn al-Fadhl al-Tabarsi (d.548 AH ). Tafsir among the Ja'fariyah Shiites is quite moderate. Since his youth, he has had an obsession and ambition to write a book on the interpretation of the Qur'an. This obsession manifested itself in the year 534 H when he was 66 years old. Al-Thabarsi is a Shiite scholar who has many talents. That can be seen from his manhaj in interpreting the Qur'an. He discusses the issue of the number of verses, differences of opinion around it, the priority of the letter, differences in reading and reasons, i'rab, linguistic studies, asbab al-nuzul, the meaning of verses, and correlation, he describes the problem in various aspects well.

Abstract

This paper analyzes the use of the study of the hadith of the Prophet saw in each da'wah delivered. one of the cases is the activities of the Tabligh congregation in the mosque there is usually a study of hadith held after morning deliberation, meal break, charity infirady (personal) from 9 to 12 o'clock after that recite the Qur'an fadhilah, prayer fadhilah, dhikr fadhilah and alms tabligh, fadhilah ramadhan (in the month of Ramadhan) and fadhilah haji (in the month of dzulhijjah/month of hajj). This is a special study for researchers related to the hadiths used in his preaching. As well as its implementation in everyday life. In the search, the researcher of Jamaah Tabligh understood the hadith textually in accordance with what is contained in the hadith. So that sometimes it seems very textual and goes back to the time of the Prophet. For example the hadith of preserving the beard is understood not to shave the beard. The method used by researchers in analyzing the hadith is the method of takhrij Hadith which is reviewed from various books and tracked by each narrator.

Abstract

This paper discusses the process of memorizing the Koran which can improve students' ability to read the Koran. The purpose of this paper is to describe how the portrait of memorizing the Koran has a good influence on the ability to read the Koran in integrated Islamic schools in the city of Langsa. This paper is the result of a case study research using a descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach, the main data sources are tests, observations and interviews, with supporting data sources in the form of important articles related to this theme. The results of this study explain that the process of implementing memorizing the Koran to improve the ability to read the Koran carried out by SDIT Langsa students is that students are divided into two levels, namely basic (Guidance) and intermediate (Tahsin). The students with basic level (guidance) get the memorization by listening (sima'i) from the teacher in class. The teacher mentally qinkan to students by repeating each verse that is read properly and correctly and followed by students several times, according to the target of memorizing verses per day, and it turns out that in general students are able to memorize the Koran by listening (sima'i). Meanwhile, students with intermediate level (tahsin), acquire memorization by using an independent memorization method.

Abstract

The coming of the Day of Judgment is rumored to be the emergence of Gog and Magog is still a hot debate, various ways have been done, including Hamka who ijtihad in explaining it. This paper uses a literature review using descriptive-analytical methods assisted by Emilio Betti's Hermeneutics theory as an umbrella in this study. Gog and Magog understood by Hamka are very different from the interpretations made by other commentators whose interpretation when viewed from Betti's theory is very dynamic.

Abstract

Arabic is the language of the Qur'an was chosen to be the divine word. So it is absolute if in understanding His message Arabic becomes one of the important knowledge. In addition, there are several theories stating that Arabic is the language of Heaven brought by the prophet Adam, but this theory is considered very weak because there is no concrete evidence. Starting from these questions, anxiety arises about what is the secret of the specialty of the Arabic language so that it is chosen to be divine kalam, what is the uniqueness of the Arabic language, to the question of the nature of kalam itself, both in the Arabic language or Arabic literature. So by using the analytical descriptive method, the author tries to describe the understanding of the uniqueness, secrets and nature of the meaning of kalam by reaching out to a literature review. So from this analysis, an understanding emerges that the uniqueness of the Arabic language is contained in the knowledge of Nahwu, Shorof and Balaghah. The Qur'an is not poetry, not poetry, and not prose like human language. But the miracle of the Qur'an, it really touches the mind and heart. Not only that, the language structure in the Qur'an is an unintentional sentence structure, purely from the divine word. While the arrangement of sentences in Arabic is an arrangement that is deliberately made like syi'ir.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the Qur'an views the issue of anti-bullying. The widespread use of social media makes it easy for people to hurl insults and insults at others. Both physically and mentally. whereas basically humans have been created so perfectly by Allah swt. The Qur'an which functions as a guide for everyday life has actually discussed the prohibition of bullying behavior. therefore, at least there is empathy that will be discussed in this study. First, what is the definition of bullying. second, what are the verses of the Qur'an that discuss the prohibition of bullying. third, how is the interpretation of the verses prohibiting bullying. fourth, how is the solution of the Qur'an against bullying behavior. This study is a literature review with qualitative research methods. While the approach used is a thematic approach. The results of this study are as discussed above, it is explained that the Qur'an does not explicitly explain the word bullying. It's just that the act of hurting other people, making fun of, mocking and criticizing are actions that are similar to the term bullying and are found in several verses in the Qur'an. Abstract

The development of conventional insurance becomes a significant discussion, because there is a ban in Islam, then the creation of Sharia insurance as one of the solutions of the ribawi economic system. Over time the development of sharia insurance industry in Indonesia named PT. Takaful Indonesia Company (STI). With the existence of tafakul insurance will provide assistance and protection among a number through investments in the form of assets or tabarru' which provides a pattern of development to deal with certain risks through the Shari'ah agreement. There are several verses of the Qur'an and hadith that discuss sharia insurance. In the Qur'an each qur'anic letter has a different meaning than other letters. However, between letters with each other has a relationship because it has the same theme discussion. This paper aims to discuss how the implementation of sharia insurance verses in the Qur'an regarding tafakulli products by performing thematic interpretations. The analysis method used is descriptive analysis using the maudhu'I or thematic approach. The results of the discussion showed that insurance has two laws, the first of which is haram because it contains the element riba (surah QS. Hud 11: 6, an-Naml 27:64, al-Hijr 15), the second is permissible because there is a helpful nature (Ta'awun) and free from vile qualities (which are hated by Allah) (QS Al Maidah verse: 2). Ta'awun is a concept of help found in Islam, Ta'awun itself is one of the concepts of insurance listed in (QS Al Maidah verse: 2). Keywords: Implementation; Sharia Insurance; Thematic Interpretation

Abstract

ABSTRACT The Qur'an contains many sources of teachings that explain various presentations. One of the contents is in the form of stories that are presented. In the Qur'an there are several stories relating to pious women, these women are women who have tough personalities and there are also women who have a rebellious nature so that they are given a calamity by Allah SWT. because of its nature. With these stories, Muslim women should imitate and some are not exemplary by other Muslim women. However, nowadays it is increasingly difficult to find women who have strong personalities according to the stories in the Koran. Based on the description above, the author examines further about how the verses and interpreters analyze the story of women with strong personalities and dissidents in the Qur'an. This study aims to find out the verse and interpreter's analysis of the story of women with strong personalities in the Al-Quran, and to find out the verses and analysis of interpretations about the characteristics of women with strong personalities and rebellious personalities in the Al-Quran. The framework of thinking in this research, is based on the theory of Qaṣaṣ Al-Quran in the study of 'ulūm Al-Quran and also the theory of tough personality in the study of psychology. The author collects verses relating to stories about women with strong personalities, analyzes the interpretations of commentators on verses relating to research studies, and categorizes the results of the analysis of interpretations of verses relating to stories and their wisdom, as well as factors that influence tough personality and tough personality characteristics. This writing is (Library Research), ie all the materials needed are sourced from written materials related to the topics discussed. And using the Maudhu'i Tafsir method, as well as other related references as secondary sources. Based on the results of the author's research, there are four stories of women with strong personalities in the Koran, namely the story of Maryam, Asiyah, Ratu Balqis, the wife of Prophet Lut and the wife of Noah. The five stories have lessons that all Muslim women should emulate. Factors that influence storytellers to have strong personalities are self-concept, way of thinking, social behavior, family and education. The characteristics of women with strong personalities based on the commentators are those who have strong monotheism, piety to Allah, sincerity and pleasure in Allah's provisions, receive good education, maintain self-purity, have good ethics, have sharpness of mind, are compassionate and have a rebellious and rebellious temperament. which we should not emulate. We just need to take a lesson from this story. Keywords: Qaṣaṣ Al-Quran, Personality, Personality tough and disobedient in the Al-Quran. ABSTRAK Al-Quran mengandung sumber ajaran yang banyak menjelaskan beragam penyajian. Salah satu kandungannya yaitu berupa kisah-kisah yang dipaparkan. Dalam Al-Quran ada beberapa kisah yang berkenaan dengan perempuan shaleh, perempuan tersebut merupakan perempuan yang memiliki kepribadian tangguh dan adapula perempuang yang memiliki sifat durhaka sehingga diberi musibah oleh Allah SWT. karena sifatnya. Dengan kisah-kisah tersebut, sudah seharusnya untuk diteladani oleh perempuan muslim dan ada juga yang tidak patut dicontoh oleh wanita muslim lainnya. Akan tetapi, saat ini semakin sulit menemukan perempuan-perempuan yang memiliki kepribadian tangguh yang sesuai dengan kisah dalam Al-Quran. Berdasarkan uraian diatas, penulis meneliti lebih jauh tentang bagaimana ayat dan analisis penafsir mengenai kisah perempuan berkepribadian tangguh dan pembangkang dalam Al-Quran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ayat dan analisis penafsir mengenai kisah perempuan berkepribadin tangguh dalam Al-Quran, dan untuk mengetahui ayat dan analisis penafsiran mengenai karakteristik perempuan berkepribadian tangguh dan berkepribadian durhaka dalam Al-Quran. Kerangka berfikir pada penelitian ini, berdasar pada teori Qaṣaṣ Al-Quran pada kajian ‘ulūm Al-Quran dan juga teori kepribadian tangguh pada kajian psikologi. Penulis mengumpulkan ayat-ayat yang berkenaan dengan kisah-kisah mengenai perempuan berkepribadian tangguh, menganalisis penafsiran dari para mufassir terhadap ayat-ayat yang berkenaan dengan kajian penelitian, dan mengkategorisasikan hasil analisis dari penafsiran mengenai ayat yang berkenaan dengan kisah beserta hikmahnya, serta faktor yang mempengaruhi kepribadian tangguh dan karakteristik kepribadian tangguh. Penulisan ini bersifat (Library Research), yakni semua bahan yang dibutuhkan bersumber dari bahan-bahan yang tertulis yang berkaitan dengan topik yang dibahas. Dan menggunakan metode Tafsir Maudhu’i,dan juga referensi lain yang berkaitan sebagai sumber sekunder. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian penulis, kisah perempuan berkepribadian tangguh dalam Al-Quran itu ada empat kisah yaitu kisah Maryam, Asiyah, Ratu Balqis Istri Nabi Luth dan Istri Nabi Nuh. Kelima kisah memiliki hikmah yang harus diteladani oleh semua perempuan Muslim. Faktor yang mempengaruhi pelaku kisah memiliki kepribadian tangguh adalah konsep diri, cara berfikir, perilaku sosial, keluarga dan pendidikan. Adapun Karakteristik perempuan berkepribadian tangguh berdasarkan para mufassir adalah yang memiliki tauhid yang kuat, taqwa terhadap Allah, ikhlas dan ridha terhadap ketetapan Allah, menerima pendidikan yang baik, menjaga kesucian diri, beretika baik, memiliki ketajaman berfikir, penyayang dan memiliki perangai yang durhaka serta pembangkang yang tidak patut kita contoh. Cukup kita ambil hikmah dari kisa tersebut. Kata Kunci : Qaṣaṣ Al-Quran, Kepribadian, Kepribadian tangguh dan durhaka dalam Al-Quran.
