Abstract

The existence of social inclusion-based regional libraries is a regional library that helps develop community potential by improving the quality of library services in order to foster a successful and enlightened society. Regional library services must now be more proactive in inviting the public to use libraries, so that famous libraries are more than just lending and returning books. As a result, library services can be transformed by social inclusion. The purpose of this paper is to optimize libraries in order to provide individuals with the means to improve their quality of life. This study used qualitative methodology for data collection, including interviews, observations, and documentation in the regional library of Karo Regency. After collecting the data, it is evaluated by reducing the data, presenting the data, and coming up with conclusions. The findings of this study show that the Karo regional library has been able to transform its library services through the use of literacy programs aimed at encouraging social inclusion. It seems that the Karo regional library service has been transformed into a library with flexible services based on people's information needs, as evidenced by the implementation of a number of social inclusion services.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of mentors in increasing the spiritual intelligence of adolescents at the Al-Arif Alwashliyah Labuhanbatu orphanage. The focus of this research is how the role of mentors in improving the spiritual intelligence of foster children as the fulfillment of rights and obligations to foster children for their survival and as a supporter of the personality development of adolescents in getting even better spiritual intelligence from the orphanage adviser. Sources of data taken were directly from the head of the orphanage as the leader of the Al-Arif Alwashliyah Labuhanbatu orphanage, and from other informants, namely from the orphanage administrators and from orphanage youth. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive qualitative data analysis which involves describing events that occurred in the field. This approach includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. As with the results of research on the role of mentors in increasing the spiritual intelligence of foster children at the Al-Arif Alwashliyah Labuhanbatu orphanage which is very good where the application, increasing spiritual intelligence is clearly visible from the daily life of orphanage orphans.

Abstract

The digital era produces people's lives that are more practical. As a result, not a few academic communities choose a new culture that is identical more instantly than the old culture. The development of a good academic culture is closely related to the role and function of effective education management because this is a reference for improving the quality of the educational process. This study aims to explore how management plans the development strategy of PTKIN's academic culture in the digitalization era. The research method applied is a qualitative method with a type of literature review (literature review). The technical data analysis is to use data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study were found. First, one of the reasons for the decline of PTKIN's academic culture in the digitalization era is the ineffective management of education. As a result, various facts indicate a lot of negative news about violations of academic cultures, such as; 1) rampant cases of plagiarism in tertiary institutions, 2) lack of a culture of reading, discussion, and research among students, 3) sexual harassment by unscrupulous university officials, and even 4) forgery of diplomas and even buying and selling of degrees. Second, in order to overcome the degradation of academic culture in tertiary institutions, several steps are needed: 1) good management involving several authorized parties, 2) implementing higher education autonomy effectively, and 3) utilizing resources that understand information technology within the PTKIN environment.

Abstract

Mental health is physically and psychologically healthy, this greatly affects the health of the individual. The purpose of this study is to describe individual guidance in reducing the mental stress of convicts when carrying out their sentences for mistakes that have been committed in prisons. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method of collecting data through observation and in-depth and structured interviews. Qualitative research is carried out by analyzing phenomena, explaining true events. The results of this study explain that many inmates experience mental pressure, anxiety, anxiety when they have just served their sentence. With the individual guidance carried out by officers can reduce these problems. The form of business is carried out through various activities, approaches. The success of this individual guidance service is very good and increasing every month, through the existing approaches and activities which are very supportive in reducing the mental pressure of female prisoners in prisons.

Abstract

This study aims to provide counseling guidance to converts who experience difficulties in knowing and studying the Islamic religion, especially to deepen the jurisprudence of worship and Islamic aqidah so that female converts in Hutatoruan VII Village can perform their prayers properly and strengthen their faith given by extension workers from the Ministry office. The religion of Islam in North Tapanuli Regency. The research method applied to this research is qualitative research with case studies in which researchers carefully investigate an event, activity, process, and interviews related to research and observation by collecting field data it is found that the number of converts in Hutatoruan VII Village is 80. 60 people who were active in extension guidance held by extension workers. The results of this study indicate that the existence of religious counseling guidance for female converts in the village of Hutatoruan VII is very effective and has an impact on overcoming the problems and difficulties of converts in learning and getting to know Islam.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to ascertain how children at the Al Jami'atul WashliyahPulo Brayan orphanage are influenced by career counseling advice. We can determine, based on the collected data, which programs the counselors at the orphanage used to help children from the Al Jami'atulWashliyahPulo Brayan orphanage select careers. The strategy utilized in this study is a subjective technique with a graphic methodology, information assortment procedures are helped out through interview rules, perception rules, and poll conveyance. The head of the foundation, the counselor, and the children of the Al Jami'atulWashliyahPulo Brayan orphanage were the subjects of this study. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the STAD type of cooperative learning method. The method used is descriptive quantitative. Data were obtained from tests and questionnaires. The source of the data from this study was a sample of 31 from the control class and 31 from the experimental class. The results of this study are that learning before using the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning method is still monotonous learning and lack of activity in class it affects student learning outcomes. but after applying the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning method it can be stated that it has increased. This is evidenced by Based on the calculations that have been carried out, the average value of the control class is 85.07 and the average value of the experimental class is 90.48. Based on these average values, it can be seen that the average experimental class = 90.48 > average control class = 85.07.

Abstract

Indonesia adalah bangsa yang terdiri dari aneka budaya, suku, golongan, agama, etnis, ras, kelas sosial, dan sebagainya. Meski terbangun atas bermacam keragaman, setiap bangsa memiliki latar belakang dalam meningkatkan hubungan pendidikan multikultural yang harmonis, humanis dan edukatif. Progresivisme merupakan aliran filsafat pendidikan modern yang menghendaki adanya perubahan pelaksanaan pendidikan menjadi lebih maju yang mengutamakan peserta didik sebagai central belajar dan guru sebagai fasilitator, pembimbing, dan pengarah yang bert ingin merubah praktik pendidikan yang selama ini terkesan teoritik doktrinik menjadi lebih demokratis humansitik yang lebih menghargai potensi dan kemampuan anak. Latar belakang ini menjadi landasan pendidikan multikultural perlu dikembangkan melalui pendekatan yang lebih terarah dan terukur untuk diterapkan. Melihat bahwa Pendidikan multikultural harus mampu mengakui keberagaman etnik dan budaya masyarakat suatu bangsa maka Pendidikan multikultural juga suatu bentuk upaya dalam mewujudkan hubungan yang harmonis, yaitu kegiatan edukasi dengan maksud menumbuh kembangkan kearifan pemahaman, sikap, kesadaran, dan perilaku peserta didik terhadap keaneka ragaman budaya, masyarakat, dan agama. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode library research (pustaka). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan terkait bagaimana hakikat pendidikan multikultural, perspektif progresivisme dalam pendidikan multikultural, dan bagaimana keterikatan progresivisme dalam pendidikan multikultural.

Abstract

This study aims to examine empirically the variables in the inculcation of ASWAJA values (tawasuth, tawazun, tasamuh) in students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Syirkah Salafiyah Pondok Pesantren Ad Dimyati Jenggawah Jember in an effort to strengthen religious moderation. It is hoped that the research will provide a scientific solution to reject and counteract the notions of radical and fanatical Islamic movements that seek to recruit young people, especially students, namely by instilling ASWAJA values in an effort to strengthen religious moderation. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data was collected through observation, documentation, and interview. Interviews were conducted with school principals, waka. Students, ASWAJA teachers and some student. The results showed that 1) the inculcation of ASWAJA values (tawasuth, tawazun, tasamuh) was manifested through ASWAJA learning in each class with meetings once a week and through the habituation of NU's amaliah activities in daily activities; 2) the inculcation of ASWAJA values is an indication of strengthening religious moderation in the community, especially in schools.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the relationships between work environment, work engagement, employee well-being, and performance at PT. DBN. The study employs a quantitative approach using a descriptive research method. The population consists of employees from PT. DBN and a sample of 145 individuals were selected for analysis. Data analysis was conducted using the Smart PLS software version 3.0, utilizing a Partial Least Squares (PLS) test, which is a variant-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach. The research findings indicate that the work environment does not significantly affect employee performance at PT. DBN. However, a positive relationship exists between the work environment and employee well-being. Furthermore, work engagement has a positive impact on employee performance, and it also influences employee well-being positively. Employee well-being, in turn, demonstrates a significant influence on employee performance. Additionally, work engagement indirectly affects employee performance through the mediating role of employee well-being, as does the work environment. These findings contribute to a better understanding of the relationships between work environment, work engagement, employee well-being, and performance. They highlight the importance of creating a conducive work environment and promoting work engagement and well-being among employees to enhance overall organizational performance.
