Abstract

Promotion as a communication strategy is expected to be able to introduce and attract public interest in an educational institution, including the Sendratasik Education study program. This research aims to find out the strategies used in carrying out educational promotions to increase the number of students. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification are strategies for analyzing data. The results of this research are: In its implementation, the promotion of the Sendratasik Education Study Program uses advertising, direct marketing, and socialization promotion strategies. The promotion strategy carried out by the Sendratasik Education study program also uses social media such as Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. The Sendratasik Education Study Program also holds festival activities ranging from music festivals to cultural introductions. These activities are a form of promotional strategy carried out by the Sendratasik Education Study Program.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze marketing strategies in the admission of new students at SMK Negeri 3 Palembang. The type of research used by researchers is qualitative research. This research uses data sources consisting of two types, namely primary and secondary data sources. The results of this study indicate that: First, marketing strategy planning at SMK Negeri 3 Palembang is the main thing in the New Student Admission (PPDB) activity. Planning involves the principal, the vice principal of student affairs, and the school marketing team. The planning of marketing activities in PPDB at SMK Negeri 3 Palembang includes creating a committee structure, determining work programs, implementation, and evaluation. Second, at the implementation stage of marketing strategy planning, SMK Negeri 3 Palembang conducts a school promotion strategy by applying the 5 elements of the marketing mix, collaborating, and providing the best possible service to the community. Third, the evaluation of the marketing strategy at SMK Negeri 3 Palembang is carried out at the end of the PPBD implementation period in the form of an accountability report. Fourth, the problematic marketing strategy of SMK Negeri 3 Palembang in the 2022-2023 school year runs less than optimal due to the lack of enthusiasm for work motivation and teamwork of the organizing committee for new student admission activities.

Abstract

This research is specifically to find out how the principal's management is improving cooperation with the industrial world at SMK Muhammadiyah Rantau Prapat. This includes implementation planning, evaluation, and obstacles in improving cooperation with the industrial world. By knowing these things, some suggestions can be given that can be taken into consideration for school principals in increasing cooperation between the industrial world and schools. This research point uses a qualitative or naturalistic approach to describe the findings of the research. Data collection was done through participant observation techniques, interviews, and documentation while data analysis involved three stages, namely data reduction display data presentation, and verification of conclusions. The results of the study state that the principal's management at SMK Muhammadiyah Rantau Prapat has evaluation implementation planning and obstacles in establishing cooperation with the industrial world. Therefore, it can be understood that the main task of a school principal in carrying out his management is not only limited to the ability to implement programs, but more than that, the principal must be able to involve all levels of the organization, its members, and the community to take an active role so that they can make a positive contribution in achieving the objectives of the collaboration to be carried out. Planning for cooperation with the industrial world is illustrated by the involvement of the industrial world in carrying out school programs and the implementation of cooperation with the industrial world is carried out through an agreement with the industrial world to establish good cooperation. The evaluation carried out by the principal with the industrial world has the hope of improvement for the future in good cooperation and the obstacles found in establishing cooperation with the industrial world are limited resources and facilities in schools and other challenges faced by school principals are rapid changes in industry demands.

Abstract

Prophetic leadership is a need of society in the modern era dominated by secular values oriented to the needs of the world. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the values developed in pesantren, pesantren traditions, and the implementation of pesantren education in developing the spirit of prophetic leadership. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. The case referred to in this study is the intertwining system built in the Darullughah wadda'wah Islamic boarding school which has an integration between the pesantren education system and the higher education system. Data collection techniques were carried out through participant observation, interviews with key informants, and documentation. The results of this data collection were analyzed through condensation, display, and verification. To test the validity of the data, this research conducted triangulation, peer discussion, and extended research observation. The results of this study indicate that the values developed are (1). Integrity values, (2) friendship values, (3) jihad values, (4) taqwa values, (5) moral values. The traditions developed by the pesantren are (1) the bahtsul masa'il tradition, (2) the tradition of developing a religious culture, (3) the Khidmah tradition, and (4) the da'wah tradition. While the implementation is (1) curriculum development, both extra-curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular, (2) leadership training such as communication skills, decision making, task delegation, team leadership, and conflict resolution, (3) development of communication skills, (4) personality development, (5) mentorship, and (6) evaluation and feedback.

Abstract

As a leader, the principal has a very large role and duties. The success of a school depends on the strategy implemented by the school principal. This research aims to find out how the principal's strategy is to improve teacher professional competence at Setih Setio 2 Vocational High School Muara Bungo. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation studies, Meanwhile, data validity testing uses data credibility by conducting triangulation and member checking. The sources were the school principal, deputy head of curriculum, and teachers at Setih Setio 2 Vocational High School Muara Bungo. The results of the study reveal that a good principal's strategy can make it easier to improve teachers professional competence by holding regular meetings with the teachers, always motivating the teachers, conducting competency-based training, maximizing class supervision, and fulfilling the needs for facilities and infrastructure, especially those related to learning.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the management of character education at MTs Raudlatusy Syubban Pati (Junior high school). This research uses a case study research model using a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interview, and documentation. The results of research related to the management of strengthening character education in the case of studies at MTs Raudlatusy Syubban in this study, supporting education must fulfill the following aspects, referring to the school's vision and mission, conducting assessments to identify school potential, formulating and determining the main character values to be developed, school programs are compiled jointly with all school components, and teachers make character-based learning devices RPP (lesson plan). Character education in MTs Rudlatusy Syubban must continue to be improved because character is the main element that proves that education is successful. The more successful an education is, the better the character of the students will be. This reason is also the background for character education at MTs Raudlatusy Syubban to continue to be intensified.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the professional competence of elementary school teachers in Binjai City and the effectiveness of teacher quality management programs and related initiatives in raising teacher competency levels. The term for this kind of study is qualitative descriptive research, and it is a way of gathering information about the people and events studied via written or spoken descriptions. It is based on the individual's background as a whole (holistic) rather than isolating the individual and the organization into variables and examining them. in the context of the whole. Reading various written materials, looking at images, pondering about items, seeing individuals in their immediate environment via interviews, and other activities are all part of the qualitative research design. Qualitative methods are used in this study to obtain data. Researchers often use observation, document analysis, and interviewing in qualitative research as data collection methods. The study's findings demonstrate (1) That the Binjai City Public Elementary School instructors are qualified educators. The quality of instructional materials is correlated with the professionalism of teachers. Professional instructors construct high-quality education or learning processes for students to enjoy participating in the learning process and for school graduates to develop human resources of the highest caliber. (2) In general, educators at Binjai City Public Elementary Schools use a variety of instructional strategies, such as technology-based learning and cooperative learning. (3) Although cooperative learning and technology-based learning are the two learning methodologies that educators constantly use to carry out the teaching and learning process, many Binjai City Public Elementary School instructors have certifications and pursue further education.

Abstract

The phenomenon of a learning crisis occurred after the COVID-19 pandemic; discipline is one aspect that must be the main focus of schools during this learning crisis. At MTs Arifah, discipline is the primary goal of extracurricular scouting. This study aims to reveal curriculum management in improving student discipline in the scout extracurricular activities. This research also uses a descriptive qualitative approach to tell the facts of curriculum management of the scout extracurricular to improve student discipline. The results obtained from this study reveal that the management of scout extracurricular curriculum planning begins with preparing Prota and Promes as a reference for activities for one year and evaluations carried out by implicit means, namely oral reports by scout coaches to the principal; this evaluation is more effective because the principal is faster and understands the conditions of extracurricular scouting.

Abstract

The primary objective of this research is to examine the impact of the blended learning model based on the Learning Management System (LMS) on both student learning outcomes and motivation. Within the realm of education, students often encounter various challenges, such as a lack of enthusiasm, boredom, and difficulties in grasping learning materials due to the limited variety in teaching and learning approaches. To address these issues, this study adopts a survey method employing a quantitative approach. The study encompasses all students at STKIP PGRI Sukabumi, with a sample size of 100 students chosen through the Simple Random Sampling technique. Data collection is conducted via a questionnaire distributed through Google Forms. The analysis involves multiple linear regression utilizing the SPSS 23 program, and the findings are as follows: 1. The LMS-based blended learning model demonstrates a significant influence on learning outcomes, as indicated by the t-count value of 6.835, surpassing the t-table value of 1.984. 2. Learning motivation is identified as a significant factor affecting learning outcomes, with a t-count value of 10.216, exceeding the t-table value of 1.984. 3. Both the LMS-based blended learning model and learning motivation collectively exhibit a substantial impact on learning outcomes, evidenced by an F-count value of 59.851, surpassing the F-table value of 3.089. In summary, the study concludes that the integration of the LMS-based blended learning model and enhanced learning motivation plays a pivotal role in advancing student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study delves into the satisfaction level of parents regarding the educational services provided by Aisyoyah Kindergarten in Sukabumi City. There are five dimensions of educational services: Tangibles (Physical Evidence), Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy. The research addresses two main questions: (1) To what extent are parents satisfied with the educational services at Aisyoyah Kindergarten in Sukabumi City? (2) How does Aisyoyah Kindergarten in Sukabumi City enhance strategies to satisfy parents regarding educational services? This is a descriptive study employing a quantitative approach. The research subjects include parents of students from classes A and B at Aisyoyah Kindergarten in Sukabumi City, with a sample size of 36 from a total population of 61 students. Data collection techniques encompassed questionnaires, documentation, and interviews. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the satisfaction level of parents concerning educational services, covering the dimensions of Tangibles or Physical Evidence, Reliability, and Assurance, at Aisyoyah Kindergarten in Sukabumi City stands at 75%, falling under the category of "Satisfied." The data analysis technique used is service quality, which determines the value of the gap between perception and performance and ranks the gap value. Highest to lowest, and a Cartesius diagram. Aisyiyah Kindergarten in Sukabumi City aims to enhance the quality of educational services and elevate parental satisfaction by (a) improving the school's human resources, including educators and education personnel supporting the School Principal in advancing school quality, (b) providing adequate school facilities and infrastructure, especially in the realm of teaching and learning activities, (c) enhancing the professionalism of teachers within the school, (d) conducting specialized development activities for high-achieving students, (e) establishing standards for academic achievement to attain educational quality, and (f) managing school funds.
