Abstract

Efforts to manage resources in madrasah are needed to improve the quality of education in accordance with national education standards. This study aims to reveal the implementation of madrasah governance in improving the quality of education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MIS) Kalibening Dukun, Magelang which includes curriculum management, students, educators and teaching staff, finance, infrastructure, and madrasah relations with the community. This research also reveals the obstacles that occur in the implementation of management and their solutions. The study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method while the data collection use in-depth interviews, observation, and literature study. The results of the study show that 1) In general, the management carried out at MIS Kalibening has been carried out well, including the breakthroughs. 2) The obstacles that arise are the absence of special personnel such as School Operational Assistance (BOS) treasurers and madrasa administration staff and the lack of functioning of the madrasa website as a means of information. 3) The solutions to minimize obstacles are reducing teaching tasks for BOS treasurers, recruiting administrators, and optimizing the media to establish relationships between madrasah and the community.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui pengaruh dari penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe course review horay terhadap pembelajaran IPA di kelas IV SDN 1 Sowan Kidul tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Metode yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis pre experimental design yang jenisnya one group pretest posttest design. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 18 peserta didik kelas IV SDN 1 Sowan Kidul. Data tes hasil belajar berbentuk pilihan ganda yang berjumlah 30 soal. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji-t dan analisis linier regresi sederhana. Dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe course review horay menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan nyata tentang hasil belajar peserta didik antara pretest dan posttest pada materi bagian-bagian tumbuhan dan fungsinya. Dilihat dari nilai rata-rata pretest peserta didik sebesar 57,83 sedangkan nilai rata-rata posttest sebesar 73,22. Kenaikan nilai pretest dan posttest sebesar 15,39. Hasil analisis ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe course review horay sangat efektif digunakan karena dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA peserta didik. Abstract

This study aims to determine the role and attention of parents to increase children's interest in reading and the obstacles experienced. This research uses descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were parents of students of primary school age or Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (SD/MI). Data collection techniques through literature review by searching, tracing, reading, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from journals related to the research topic and then recording, processing, and analyzing them. The results of this study indicate that the role of parents is important in increasing children's interest in reading. Some of these roles include: a) being a role model and providing reading facilities; b) as a teacher and motivator; c) apply parenting and instill good values; and d) become a mentor or adviser. Some of these roles can be a factor in increasing children's interest in reading. Home is the best place to develop a child's interest in reading. One of the supports needed to increase children's interest in reading is the role of parents.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method in improving the quality of Indonesian language learning outcomes in class III MI Darul Falah Ngembalrejo Kudus. Classroom Action Research (PTK) uses the Kemmis and McTaggart model which consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were all students of class III MI Darul Falah with a total of 28 students. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observations, tests, and documentation. The results showed an increase in the average score of the test results and an increase in the number of students who achieved KKM in each cycle. The average score in cycle I was 68.1 with 42.8% completeness and the average score in cycle II was 80.89 with 82.1% completeness. Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of the CIRC method can improve the quality of student learning outcomes at MI Darul Falah Ngembalrejo Kudus.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the procedures for media development, media feasibility testing, and student learning interest after using information technology-based interactive Banten local culture media. This research method is Research and Development (R&D) using the Lee & Owens development model. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. The research that was conducted on 24 respondents obtained the results of the due diligence by media experts achieving a result of 90%, which means that this product is in the very feasible category. While the assessment of material experts achieves 72% results, which means this product is in the proper category. The average score in the student learning interest questionnaire after using development media is 90.36%, which means that student learning interest is in the very high category. So, it can be concluded that information technology-based interactive Banten local culture media can increase student learning interest in Class IV social studies material.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to provide an explanation of the teacher's strategy in fostering the morals of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) students. This study uses a type of qualitative research with the intention to understand the phenomenon of the things experienced by research subjects in a descriptive way. The research was carried out with the stages of preparation, implementation, and completion. The research subjects were teachers of the Akidah Akhlak subject, students, and parents of class 5A MI Al Fithrah Surabaya. Data collection techniques using observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study revealed that the strategy used by Akidah Akhlak teachers in fostering akhlakul karimah class 5A students through the 8C program at MI Al Fithrah Surabaya. This program is very helpful in building children's character so that akhlakul karimah can be formed through habituation. The teacher's obstacle in implementing this strategy is the difficulty of directly monitoring the development and evaluation of students. Constraints experienced by students, namely the limitations of the learning process directly with the teacher and the lack of support from parents at home. The solution to this obstacle includes actively involving parents in raising awareness, responsibility, and discipline in their children.

Abstract

This study aims to determine interest in learning as a result of using online games. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The data in this research are; 1) person (people), namely grade VI students of SD 5 Gondangmanis; 2) paper (paper), namely data derived from questionnaires, interviews, and observations; and 3) place, namely the place where activities related to this research took place, namely at SD 5 Gondangmanis. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews with research instruments in the form of interview guidelines, questionnaires with research instruments in the form of questionnaire guidelines, observation with research instruments in the form of observation guidelines. Data analysis in this study includes data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that children's learning interest depends on the category of children in the intensity of time they play online games. Children with high time intensity and who are addicted to online games have low interest in learning and children who have low intensity time playing online games and receive supervision, attention and direction from parents have good interest in learning.

Abstract

Local wisdom is noble values ​​that are born, developed, and developed by people who come from tradition, culture, and religion. Diversity is a characteristic of Indonesia, while the value of pesantren is the local wisdom of Indonesian Muslims. This study aims to explain how the diversity and values ​​of Pesantren form the basis for implementing education at the Kuala Lumpur Indonesian School (SIKL) Malaysia with diversity as its foundation and MI Madarijul Huda Kembang Dukuhseti Pati, Indonesia, which makes pesantren values ​​its main basis. Data collection through in-depth interviews, field observations, and relevant documentation. Analysis of research data used interactive analysis techniques by Miles and Huberman including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that diversity in SIKL Malaysia is used as a spirit in educating the character of students. The values ​​taught include tolerance, mutual respect, and helping each other. While the values ​​of the pesantren which form the basis of education at MI Madarijul Huda include adab or politeness, honesty and tolerance. These values ​​are taught through exemplary methods, good advice, and habituation. This value is an important foundation for the character development of students in facing future challenges.
