Abstract

The phenomenon of a single candidate pair in the 2018 Pilkada is not the first to have occurred since the Pilkada were held directly. This becomes an interesting political dynamic, indicating that democracy does not work according to its spirit. Political parties have strong control over the emergence of a single candidate, political parties should be able to carry out political regeneration and political education to the public for the sake of democracy. The implementation of the 2018 Tangerang Regency regional elections was in the public spotlight with the presence of Ahmed Zaki Iskandar and Mad Romli as the sole candidate pair. Even though the political capital owned by this single pair is quite strong and victory can be ensured without holding elections, procedurally the implementation of regional election political campaigns must still be carried out to convince constituents of this single candidate. In carrying out political campaigns, it is very important to carry out political marketing so that the campaign strategies and materials delivered are right on target. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to explore and analyze existing political phenomena. The results of this study show that political marketing carried out by this single candidate pair runs optimally by running four indicators of political marketing, namely; Product, Place, Price and Promotion. Of the four indicators, the political marketing of this single candidate is strongest in the product indicator where this single candidate who is also an incumbent has more access than the other prospective regents/deputy regents. The character built by Ahmed Zaki Iskandar succeeded in convincing constituents to re-elect him.

Abstract

Abstract Digitalization in every aspect of life is an inevitable change, including in the media and advertising industry, which is experiencing demands every day to create new breakthroughs that fit today's world. The COVID-19 pandemic is changing the new global media landscape, namely digital. This research uses qualitative research methods and data collection techniques in this study are online observation and direct observation. The results of the study found that businesspeople can promote products and services through several digital platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or other internet-based new media, thus expanding the reach of promotion. Digitalization of audio-visual content is able to shift traditional tv advertising to new media platforms. Abstrak Digitalisasi dalam setiap aspek kehidupan merupakan perubahan yang tak terhindarkan, termasuk di industri media dan periklanan yang setiap harinya mengalami tuntutan untuk menciptakan terobosan baru yang sesuai dengan dunia saat ini. Pandemi COVID-19 merubah lanskap media global baru yaitu digital. penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan observasi online dan pengamatan langsung. Hasil penelitian medapatkan bahwa pelaku bisnis dapat mempromosikan produk dan jasa lewat beberapa platform digital seperti facebook, youtube, instagram, tiktok, datau media baru berbasis internet lainnya, sehingga memperluas jangkauan promosi. Digitalisasi konten audio visual mampu menggeser iklan tv tradisional ke platform new media. Kata kunci :Digital, Media Baru, Promosi, Industri periklanan

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of technological innovation on customer satisfaction through service quality both directly and indirectly on Tokopedia application users in Bogor City. The purposive sampling technique was used to determine the research sample so that 210 Tokopedia application users were obtained. The results prove that technological innovation directly has a positive and significant effect on service quality so that to improve service quality Tokopedia can innovate by Discontinuous innovations can be radical innovations or completely new innovations. Technological innovation has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, to increase customer satisfaction Tokopedia can increase Responsiveness, namely providing fast (responsive) and precise service to customers with clear information delivery. Service Quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, Willingness to recommend both to family, friends, and others is very important because it is a free promotion that will greatly benefit Tokopedia in increasing customer satisfaction. The indirect effect value is greater than the direct effect value, which means that service quality is able to mediate the effect of technological innovation on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) technology development in the world of education, especially on students. The research was carried out using quantitative methods with questionnaires through Google Forms that were distributed online to various social media. The data uses a variety of past studies related to this topic. The results showed that the development of artificial intelligence technology has made AI increasingly common in society, especially students, although many still do not understand the concept and how it works. However, the research also reveals that the use of AI in education provides significant benefits, such as personalized learning, individual progress monitoring, and instant feedback provision. Moreover, the adoption of AI in education is found to enhance the efficiency of the learning process and assist students and learners in developing cognitive and social skills. Nevertheless, the research highlights several challenges that need to be addressed, including ethical concerns, data privacy, and a lack of in-depth understanding of AI. The results of this research are expected to provide valuable insights for education stakeholders in effectively and responsibly harnessing artificial intelligence technology. Abstract

Abstract Mass media plays an important role in society as a public space. The existence of mass media should be able to create a space for discussion and aspirations for the community and be independent. However media conglomeration by elites creates a media monopoly, which in turn erodes the role of the public sphere and creates a democratic deficit in the media. Media coverage tends to favor the rulers and elites, rather than the people, as in the case of Wadas. However, alternative media is present as a form of community movement in fighting the deficit of media democracy that occurs. Therefore, this research aims to look at the position of mainstream and alternative media in reporting the Wadas case, as a critical study and solution to the democratic deficit that occurs. This research will use a qualitative approach with content analysis methods and literature studies. The results of the study show that there is a bias in media coverage that causes a media democracy deficit. However, alternative media is present as a form of counter public movement in reviving public space and media democracy. Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the recruitment and selection process for Candidates for State Civil Apparatus (CASN) in Indonesia. CASN recruitment and selection problems in Indonesia in 2021, fraud, and KKN practices are still found. The research method used in this research is a literature review method using official and reliable secondary data. Data was obtained through books, journals, online news, and official websites. The results of this study indicate that the CASN recruitment and selection process in Indonesia has not gone well. KKN practices are still being found in Sulawesi and Lampung in 2021. Fraudulent acts were found carried out by unscrupulous Civil Servants (PNS). The use of the Computer Assisted Test (CAT) system aims to minimize KKN, however, KKN practices are still found in the 2021 CASN selection. Keywords: Recruitment, Selection, CASN

Abstract

Media convergence is the only way for media existence to be maintained in the present, which is people in consuming media also change. Media convergence strategies and practices have become demands in the era of information invasion. The purpose of this study is to determine the convergence strategy carried out by the media industry in maintaining the media business to remain productive and sustainable. While the problem that often arises is the demands of the multitasking journalist profession which is not as smooth as expected. The convergence journalist profession must have multiskills using technology and writing technology news. However, convergence is one of the old media strategies to maintain its existence amid the rapid development of internet technology. This research will use a qualitative approach with literature study methods and data collection techniques through observation from various sources, both from previous research results, as well as publications from various media and related theories. The results of the study want to know the convergence processes and strategies carried for the sustainable media industry. Although there is strategy different of some research results, there are still similarities that state that whether they like it or not, the media must adapt to increasingly rapid technological developments by conducting media convergence for sustain.
