Abstract

Quality service is a service that always meets the needs and satisfaction of customers, namely school residents. In order to support the smooth learning process in schools, a part that supports activities is needed, namely school administration. The purpose of this study was to determine quality planning, quality control and quality improvement as well as input quality, process quality and output quality of administrative services at MAN Wonogiri. This study uses qualitative research, with descriptive methods through field studies conducted at MAN Wonogiri. The data acquisition using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that (1) Quality planning at MAN Wonogiri includes several activities including planning meetings before the new school year by involving TU employees, TU heads and madrasa heads, determining customer needs and preparing evaluation plans. (2) Quality control is carried out by adjusting performance with objectives, evaluating and supervising madrasa administrative services, (3) Quality improvement is carried out by identifying improvements, making improvement efforts and programs to improve the quality of madrasa administrative services, (4) Input quality is supported by the ability education personnel who serve as well as adequate facilities and infrastructure, (5) The quality of the process is seen from the implementation of administrative services in the fields of education and teaching, finance, personnel and general affairs, (6) The quality of output is seen from the results of the performance of TU employees through the administrative self-evaluation of MAN Wonogiri.

Abstract

The Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology has issued Circular Letter 4 of 2021 concerning implementing Face-to-face Learning for the Academic Year 2021/2022. Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) has responded by giving Circular Letter Number: B/11898/UN37/KM/2021 concerning hybrid Lectures for Odd Semester 2021/2022 in Universitas Negeri Semarang. Limited face-to-face lectures during the Covid-19 pandemic came up with many challenges and required rigorous preparation. It is because UNNES will not take any actions that put both its employees and students at risk. This study uses a qualitative research approach framework that describes a phenomenon and information related to implementing hybrid learning during the pandemic. UNNES has successfully implemented both preparation and implementation stages according to the guideline. No Covid-19 cases have been found caused by performing mixed class. However, there is still a concern about the absence of temporary isolation rooms for academics and students with Covid-19 symptoms/criteria. This part is compulsory based on the circular letter issued by The Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology. It has not been fulfilled yet in almost every department with a hybrid class.

Abstract

Kompetisi antar lembaga pendidikan semakin ketat sehingga sekolah perlu melakukan manajemen pemasaran sekolah dengan baik yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kuantitas peserta didik. Fokus penelitian ini adalah strategi manajemen pemasaran sekolah dalam peningkatan kuantitas peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor internal dan faktor eksternal serta pola strategi manajemen pemasaran sekolah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDIT Luqman Al Hakim Internasional Yogyakarta. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, kurikulum, kesiswaan, sarpras, TU, dan wali murid SDIT LHI. Metode penelitian ini adalah kulitatif deskriptif pendekatan studi kasus. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan kuesioner. Data dianalisis dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, analisis SWOT, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan model triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dalam melakukan manajemen pemasaran untuk meningkatkan kuantitas peserta didik di SDIT LHI terdapat: (1) Faktor internal berupa kekuatan, (2) Faktor eksternal berupa peluang, dan (3) Pola strategi pemasaran terletak pada kuadran I strategi agresif (strength opportunity).

Abstract

Permendiknas Nomor 16 Tahun 2007 mewajibkan guru menguasai 4 kompetensi guru, salah satunya kompetensi profesional. Peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru dapat diupayakan melalui supervisi kepala madrasah. Pelaksanaan supervisi kepala madrasah sesuai dengan Permendiknas Nomor 13 Tahun 2007 maupun KMA Nomor 58 tahun 2017. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan supervisi kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru rumpun PAI di MTs NU Mranggen dan peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru rumpun PAI di MTs NU Mranggen. Penelitian kualitatif lapangan dengan pendekatan deskriptif ini memperoleh data dari informan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Data tersebut kemudian dianalisis dan diuji keabsahannya dengan metode triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa supervisi kepala madrasah meliputi penyusunan program yang disusun bersama dengan guru, pelaksanaan supervisi dengan teknik kunjungan kelas, observasi maupun tes penguasaan standar isi, penilaian atau evaluasi dengan menggunakan instrumen dan evaluasi diri, dan rencana tindak lanjut berupa peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru melalui kegiatan bimbingan dan tindakan reflektif. Adapun peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru PAI berupa peningkatan lima subkompetensi profesional guru, namun membutuhkan perbaikan pada indikator pelaksanaan penelitian dan kegiatan ilmiah guru. Pelaksanaan supervisi kepala madrasah di MTs NU Mranggen Demak agar lebih memperhatikan proses supervisi akademik dengan pendekatan persuasif pada pelaksanaan supervisi guru.

Abstract

School-Based Management (SBM) is an alternative form of school or madrasa management, in the education decentralization program, where schools have the right to adapt better and more adequate education to their students. SBM is a strategy in managing education in madrasas that optimizes every madrasa's internal resources. The type of research is qualitative research, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. In the analysis using several stages, namely; data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the research show that the planning and implementation of activities carried out are following standard procedures given by the head of the madrasa by applying indicators to improve the quality of student learning.

Abstract

This article reveals the communication of women leaders. When talking about female leaders, it will not be separated from the issue of gender stereotypes, many of which link the individual’s ability to lead with the biological aspects inherent in the leader, namely based on the sex differences between men and women. As result, the term gender inequality has emerged, which places women in unfavorable conditions. This type of research is qualitative and a case study as an approach. Data collection techniques used in-depth interviews with school principal informants, education personnel, school communities, and guardians of the students. The data analysis process uses a flow model which includes: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. This study found that the success of female leaders was influenced by their ability to communicate and appreciate professional relationships. Female leaders have more social orientation, an equal position, are quality based, care, and are more nurturing. Abstract

Global competition among universities in the world has become more challenging over years. This makes it demanding not only for universities in Indonesia to create positive improvements but also for the government to adapt with its innovations and policy initiatives. Meanwhile, New Public Management approach which was initially introduced in 1990s has been proposing administrative reforms on the old inefficient bureaucracy. In response to this, universities along with the government have been incorporating some aspects of The New Public Management theory in order for them to strive in global competition. This study seeks to analyze the changing status of Indonesian universities. It further discusses how some aspects of New Public Management are incorporated in university’s administration. This Indonesian case study argues that NPM values has influenced the changing system of universities in Indonesia. NPS still exists partially if not fully, in Indonesian universities despite the problem of public acceptance responding to the government’s policy on university reforms.

Abstract

Pemetaan mutu dilaksanakan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang capaian atau pemenuhan SNP. Penelitian ini mengambil fokus permasalahan: 1) bagaimana pemetaan mutu tenaga pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan berdasarkan instrumen pemetaan mutu di SMPN 1 Keling Jepara? 2) bagaimana cara meningkatkan mutu tenaga pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan berdasarkan standar pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan di SMPN 1 Keling Jepara? Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rapor mutu sebagai hasil pemetaan mutu menunjukkan ada peningkatan nilai dari tahun sebelumnya, hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya penambahan guru serta kualifikasi guru yang hampir mencapai SNP (Standar Nasional Pendidikan). Kemajuan juga terjadi pada kepala sekolah yang sudah memenuhi kualifikasi sebagai kepala sekolah profesional, ada juga standar tenaga administrasi yang harus memiliki tenaga administrasi yang berkualifikasi sesuai namun masih banyak data yang tidak terbaca oleh aplikasi dapodik yang menjadikan nilai rapor standar pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan tidak memiliki nilai. Setelah menganalisis pencapaian mutu dilanjutkan dengan upaya kepala sekolah dalam membina tenaga pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan lewat program pendidikan dan pelatihan, MGMP dan IHT.Quality mapping is carried out to provide an overview of the achievement or fulfillment of the National Education Standards (SNP). This research focuses on the problems: 1) how is the quality mapping of educators and education staff based on the quality mapping instrument at SMPN 1 Keling Jepara? 2) how to improve the quality of educators and education staffs based on the standards of educators and education personnels or staffs at SMPN 1 Keling Jepara? This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The results showed that the quality report card as a result of quality mapping showed an increase in grades from the previous year, this was evidenced by the addition of teachers and teacher qualifications that almost reached the National Education Standards (SNP). Progress has also occurred in school principals who have met the qualifications as professional school principals, there are also administrative staff standards who must have appropriate qualified administrative personnel but there is still a lot of data that is not legible by the dapodik application which makes the standard report cards of educators and education personnels have no grade. After analyzing the quality achievement, it is continued with the principal's efforts in fostering educators and education staffs through education and training programs, MGMP and IHT.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi ekstrakurikuler kewirausahaan serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat ekstrakurikuler kewirausahaan di SMA Mazra’atul Ulum Paciran Lamongan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian lapangan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) Perencanaan ekstrakurikuler kewirausahaan mencakup: Penetapan tujuan, penetapan pembina, penetapan peserta, penyusunan program kerja, penetapan jadwal dan tempat ekstrakurikuler kewirausahaan. (2) Implementasi ekstrakurikuler kewirausahaan merupakan pelaksanaan pembelajaran melalui beberapa kegiatan, di antaranya: pemilihan ide, proses produksi, pemasaran produk, pembuatan proposal, dan pelatihan public speaking. (3) Evaluasi ekstrakurikuler kewirausahaan dilakukan setiap akhir semester. Hal yang dievaluasi meliputi: kinerja pembina, pencapaian prestasi, kehadiran siswa, dan keaktifan siswa pada saat pembelajaran. (4) Faktor pendukung dalam pelaksanaan ekstrakurikuler kewirausahaan yaitu sarana dan prasarana yang memadai, pembina yang berkompeten, antusiasme siswa, sumber daya alam di daerah sekitar, dan daya dukung dari beberapa dinas. Faktor penghambatnya yaitu kedisplinan siswa, kekhawatiran orang tua pada anak saat perjalanan pulang, dan kurangnya pendanaan.
