ABDIRA (Journal of Community Service): Journal of Community Service contains the results of community service and empowerment activities in the form of application of various fields of science including health, education, engineering, agriculture, agriculture, social humanities, computers, entrepreneurship and economics. The purpose of this journal is to disseminate ideas and results of the dedication and research conducted by universities that can be applied in society. ABDIRA contains various activities carried out in handling and overcoming various problems that occur in society by applying science and technology which can then be useful for improving community welfare.

Abstract

Housewives have a very big role in determining the future, especially in the field of education. Therefore, there is a need for financial education for children and understanding of parents. Based on the observations of the servants before doing the service, housewives did not understand how to introduce financial education to children and families. This service will be carried out for 5 meetings with the material for each meeting will be different to solve existing problems. The methods given during this service are lectures, tutorials and exercises. The housewives of Bengkong Permai Housing after the service have knowledge and understanding related to financial education, this can be seen from the exercises carried out at the end of the meeting. It is hoped that the results of the activities carried out by housewives can be useful for families and introduce financial education to children and families in order to create good family financial health.

Abstract

Kecanggihan teknologi semakin hari semakin tidak terbendung dalam setiap aspek kehidupan manusia. Dunia pendidikan harus berpacu dan mengikuti kemajuan teknologi agar anak didik mampu menyeimbangi kecanggihan teknologi tersebut. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberi pelatihan penyusunan powerpoint materi pembelajaran untuk guru-guru MTs. Muhajirin Kualu Nenas. Metode kegiatan pengabdian  masyarakat ini menggunakan metode ceramah, demontrasi, metode tanya jawab dan melakukan praktik bimbingan kelompok untuk guru. Kepala sekolah dan guru sangat antusias dalam pembuatan materi pelajaran menggunakan power point. Penggunaan power point sangat memberikan manfaat bagi guru yaitu mempermudah dalam menyampaikan materi dan materi juga terlihat menarik bagi anak.

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to 1) provide understanding for PAUD teachers and parents to recognize/understand ADHD children, 2) provide insight into handling ADHD children 3) find out the response of PAUD teachers and parents regarding seminar activities on children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. and handling. Seminar activities with the theme of getting to know children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and their treatment make it easy for teachers and parents to recognize ADHD children from an early age and can take appropriate steps to deal with them. This community service activity method uses the lecture method, demonstration, and question and answer method.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan pelatihan model Pembelajaran Daring dengan Menggunakan Aplikasi WatsApp di Sekolah Dasar Pahlawan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian fenomenologi yang mendeskripsikan mengenai pemanfaatan WhatsApp sebagai media pembelajaran dalam jaringan masa wabah Covid-19. Data dari penelitian ini diperoleh melalui wawancara bersama wali kelas yang menjadi sumber utama dari penelitian ini, observasi berupa observasi partisipasi pasif serta dokumentasi sebagai data pendukung dari hasil wawancara. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa guru telah memanfaatkan WhatsApp sebagai media pembelajaran dalam menunjang kegiatan pembelajaran daring dengan memanfaatkan berbagai fitur yang tersedia seperti fitur foto, video, dokumen dan video call. Pelaksanaan pemanfaatan WhatsApp sebagai media pembelajaran terdapat bebarapa hambatan yaitu gangguan Sinyal, memori HP penuh, Kurangnya Interaksi, sulit mengetahui keseriusan belajar peserta didik, kurangnya motivasi belajar peserta didik, fasilitas pendukung pembelajaran online dan sulit memahami materi yang diberikan.

Abstract

Covid-19 does not only attack adults, but all ages including children. The total number of Covid cases in children under the age of 10 in the Yogyakarta area has reached 4,723, but there has been no special counseling aimed at children in this regard. Therefore, this community service aims to provide socialization and counseling about Covid-19 and Health protocols in handling and preventing Covid-19. This community service activity has been in the Family Planning Village, Kintelan, Bambanglipuro Bantul. This activity was carried out offline and online for 3 socializations, starting at 08.00 WIB until 11.00 WIB. The number of participants who attended was 20-30 children aged 4-7 years. The outputs produced according to the planned community service activity are increasing children's knowledge about Covid-19 and 5M and the implementation of the health protocol.

Abstract

The implementation of this community service involves one partner, namely the SME Partner Group located in Rantau Merangin Village. This group has various businesses, including various culinary, clothing, laundry, health and crafts. However, in the current Covid 19 pandemic, there is a lack of promotion and product sales that are still carried out traditionally as well as less professional management or management capabilities, this has caused some SMEs in Rantau Merangin Village to be underdeveloped and even some of them went out of business. The purpose of implementing this community service is to apply e-commerce to the sale of various SME products in Merangin Village with the aim of introducing and increasing sales turnover, while the method used is by using participatory methods, counseling, mentoring and training. The results obtained from the implementation of this community service are that with the assistance of training and e-commerce applications, it can increase the motivation for partners to carry out marketing of their products so that their turnover increases during the Covid 19 Pandemic.

Abstract

Hypertension is a non-communicable disease that causes various problems, complications and every year have increased. Prevention of complications and severity can be done by changing the wrong health seeking behaviour. So far the education provided is only limited to health counselling that has not been scheduled and implemented properly, therefore community service aims to change the health seeking behaviour in hypertensive patients through structured education. This activity was held at Nelle Public Health Center of Sikka Regency 4 times for 60 minutes with the method of lectures, questions and answers, sharing and discussion. Implementation of activities still pay attention to the COVID-19 protocol. A total of 32 people with hypertension were involved in this activity. The output produced is a change in the health seeking behaviour when the symptoms of the disease are felt by going to a health facility. Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk 1) memberi pelatihan skill  bimbingan kelompok bagi guru TK Mutiara Kampung Godang , 2) mengetahui respon guru di  TK Mutiara Kampung Godang pelatihan skill bimbingan kelompok anak usia dini. Bimbingan kelompok pada anak usia dini akan membuat guru mudah berkomunikasi anak, membangun kedekatan, memahami anak dan mudah memnyampaikan informasi kepada anak degan format kelompok Metode kegiatan pengabdian  masyarakat ini menggunakan metode ceramah, demontrasi, metode tanya jawab dan melakukan praktik bimbingan kelompok untuk anak usia dini.

Abstract

Religious activities at the taklim assembly, several local Islamic boarding schools and al-quran education parks managed collectively by residents are still running face-to-face activities (offline). The desire to organize religious education as a moral foundation for future generations by preventing the spread of COVID-19 is a dilemma. Therefore, activities are needed to promote health protocols and their implementation to support the conditions of a healthy religious learning process in these places. The main purpose of this service is to provide an understanding of health promotion in the prevention and control of Covid-19 and provide training on the manufacture and use of sanitation materials to partners. Methods for implementing community service activities include contact and discussion with partners, preparation of health promotion tools and media, preparation and purchase of tools and materials for making hand sanitizers as well as FGD discussions related to activities. The result of this activity is an increase in understanding and application of health promotion regarding the prevention and control of the spread of Covid-19, both in the mosque environment, religious study rooms and around mosques.

Abstract

Parents have limited ways, knowledge, and educational game tools that can help them to guide their children in learning. This Community Service activity aims to provide training on the design of APE technology: flanelevaya kniga for early childhood learning. The method of this community service activity uses the lecture method, demonstration, question and answer method and practice group guidance for early childhood. The result of this service is that entrepreneurs of Educational Game Equipment for Early Childhood in Sungai Pinang Village need an understanding of the importance of quality APE, provide entrepreneurs with the ability to develop Flaga with the aim of helping them achieve marketing targets, this training provides the right solution for entrepreneurs' problems in running a business.
