Abstract

Parents have limited ways, knowledge, and educational game tools that can help them to guide their children in learning. This Community Service activity aims to provide training on the design of APE technology: flanelevaya kniga for early childhood learning. The method of this community service activity uses the lecture method, demonstration, question and answer method and practice group guidance for early childhood. The result of this service is that entrepreneurs of Educational Game Equipment for Early Childhood in Sungai Pinang Village need an understanding of the importance of quality APE, provide entrepreneurs with the ability to develop Flaga with the aim of helping them achieve marketing targets, this training provides the right solution for entrepreneurs' problems in running a business.

Abstract

Abstinence is banned or prohibited acts job to do so by the people who accompanied sanctions warmth of the ancestors. The others believe that abstinence forbids irrelevant to modern-paced life as it is today. Literature has a great potential to bring people to the direction of change in character. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The object of research is abstinence which is prohibited by the Malay community Kampar. The results showed that abstinence forbids the Kampar Malay community can be categorized into: (1) time, namely: at night, dusk; (2) place, namely: in the fields, in the middle of the road, in the woods, and in the grave; (3) safety of life, namely: death, pain, and bad luck or unfortunate; (4) based on the cycle of life (5) and occult beliefs; (6) work and activities, namely: people give birth and nurse the baby, take care of the dead and to the cemetery, walking, playing, working, making the house, table manners. The expression of abstinence forbids have relevance on character education.

Abstract

Penilitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak melalui kegiatan kolase dengan bahan Loose part pada anak usia 4-6 Tahun di Bangkinang Kabupaten kampar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitis, yaitu metode yang bersifat memaparkan sejelas jelasnya tentang objek yang diteliti, serta menggambarkan secara keseluruhan, sistematis dan akurat. Penelitian ini dilakukan dua kali pertemuan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, yaitu penelitian yang bermaksud untuk memahami fenomena tentang apa yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian, misalnya prilaku, presepsi, motivasi , tindakan dan lain-lain, secara holistik dan dengan cara deksripsi dalam bentuk kata-kata dan bahasa pada suatu konteks khusus yang alamiah dan dengan memanfaatkan berbagai metode alamiah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan motorik halus anak dengan persentase kenaikan 22%, hal ini dapat di lihat dari sebelum penelitian diperoleh nilai rata- rata 60% namun setelah dilakukan penelitian meningkat menjadi 82%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pendidikan anak usia dini pada keluarga muda di Desa Sumber Makmur Kecamatan Tapung. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Keluarga muda yang memiliki anak usia dini. Data dikumpulkan melalui pengamatan dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan mengacu pada konsep Milles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Pola asuh yang ada pada keluarga muda di Desa Sumber Makmur terdiri dari 2 jenis pola asuh, yaitu pola asuh permisif dan otoriter; 2) Fasilitas yang diberikan sudah memberikan fasilitas bagi pendidikan dan pengembangan diri anak usia dini mereka; 3) Pemantauan terhadap perkembangan (fisik-motorik, kognitif, dan afektif) anak melalui hasil-hasil dari pembelajaran anak, baik pembelajaran yang anak peroleh di sekolah ataupun hasil dari pembelajaran yang anak peroleh saat belajar bersama orangtua di rumah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa pada pembelajaran tematik di kelas V Mi Al-Falah Teratak. Salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi masalah ini adalah dengan menggunakan model scanning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa dengan menggunakan model scanning pada siswa kelas V MI Al-Falah Teratak. Metode penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 10 orang, dengan jumlah laki-laki 4 orang, dan siswa perempuan berjumlah 6 orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan berupa dokumentasi, observasi, dan tes. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa model scanning dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa pada kelas V MI Al-Falah Teratak. Pada siklus I hasil keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa tergolong kurang dengan persentase 50%. Selanjutnya pada siklus II dengan persentase 90% dengan katagori sangat baik. Dari 10 orang siswa hanya 9 orang siswa yang tuntas dengan ketuntasan klasikal 90%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model scanning dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas V MI Al-Falah Teratak Tahun ajaran 2020/2021.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of directive speech acts used by teachers in the learning process, describe directive speech acts used by teachers, and describe the context of the situation of teacher directive speech acts in the learning process at the 001 Pangkalan public elementary school. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method, with the steps of the pre-field stage, the stage of field activities, data collection, and intensive analysis stage. The results showed that of the 12 elementary school teachers studied, all of them had good directive speech acts. The conclusion of this study is that the politeness of the teacher's directive speech acts in the learning process at the 001 base public elementary school is quite good and needs to be improved. Of all types of directive speech acts, the most dominant that emerges from the teacher's speech is the directive command speech act. Efforts are needed to improve continuous pedagogic competence in order to improve teacher skills in applying all directive speech acts so that teacher competence increases.

Abstract

Learning model is one of the most critical factors in learning. To enhance the learning creativity and master the learning competency is, therefore, to promote the implementation of PBL by means of associating between the technology and the Malay cultural community. By promoting PBL, the students’ activeness and creativity is significantly increasing.In this model, the teacher purely acts as a facilitator and evaluator of the student’s worksand or products presented in the results of the project. By producing real works, the students are motivated to increasingly enhance their learning activeness and creativity. The purpose of conducting this study was to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of PBL learning model in UniversitasPahlawanTuankuTambusai Riau in efforts to increase the students’creativity in the Malay Culture’ subject matter. In conclusion, the implementation of the PBL learning model in Malay Culture’ subject matter can significantly enhance the students’activeness and creativity.

Abstract

The low level of intensive reading skill in Indonesian language of fourth grade of MI Darussalam becomes the background of this classroom action research. The ineffectiveness of the learning process is suspected by the lack of innovation and creativity of teachers in choosing a learning model. Therefore, the researcher applies cooperative learning model of Think-Talk-Write type as an effort to improve intensive reading skill of the fourth grade of MI Darussalam. Researcher is as the research subject and the fourth grade teacher of MI Darussalam is as observer. Data collection techniques conducted in this study are by using the techniques of observation, tests, and documentation. After conducting the research, it can be concluded that the average score of students' intensive reading skill before the research was 55,85 with less category. In the first cycle there has been an increase to 69.75 with sufficient category. Big changes occurred in cycle II with average value to 88.75 with good category. From the result of the research, it can be concluded that intensive reading skill of fourth grade of MI Darussalam can be increased by applying cooperative learning model type Think-Talk-Write.

Abstract

The accuracy of selecting learning strategies and the intensive uses of e-dictionaries in Early Childhood Education are the critical points of interest in enhancing preschool children’s linguistic intelligence and digital skills. The facts are both have not yet been priority scales in the children’s ELT programs, however. This study, therefore, aimed at diagnosing the effects of this research on the children’s linguistic intelligence and digital skills. Observation and field-note were the techniques of collecting the data, the (Bogdan Biklen, 2006) model was a technique of data analysis while triangulation was used to verify the data. The 25 preschool children were judgementally selected as research participants. The finding indicated that this study practically affects the children’s linguistic intelligence of “word smarts, “lexical meaning smarts,” “semantic meaning smarts” and “grammatical word order smarts,” “digital awareness,” “digital competence,” “critical thinking skills (HOTS),” and 4C skills. In conclusion, this research enables the children to make connections between known and new words, to distinguish shades of word’s meaning, help them become word choosy, and ease them to gradually understand spoken and written language along with the abilities to talk and write themselves. It also enhances the children knowledge and understanding of related lexis and vocabulary skills, assists them to make connection and predictions, and improve comprehension.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas kerjasama siswa terhadap pembelajaran tema indahnya kebersamaan dengan menerapkan model Treasure Hunt di SDM 002 Penyasawan. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya aktivitas kerjasama siswa pada kelas IV yang mana berjumlah 25 orang yang terdiri dari 13 siswa laki-laki dan 12 siswa perempuan. Penerapan penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang mana masing-masing siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes dalam bentuk soal essay, lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa serta dokumentasi. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat diketahui terdapatnya peningkatan dalam aktivitas kerjasama siswa pada tema indahnya kebersamaan. Sebelum tindakan, keuntasan hasil aktivitas kerjasama siswa hanya 12% dalam kategori rendah. Dalam melaksanakan siklus 1 ketuntasan aktivitas kerjasama siswa 76% dengan kategori sedang. Sedangkan dalam melaksanakan siklus 2 ketuntasan aktivitas kerjasama siswa 92% dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan penerapan model Treasure Hunt dapat meningkatkan aktivitas kerjasama siswa sekolah dasar.
