Abstract

Emotional intelligence is the ability of a person to know himself better and to know others so that he is able to establish harmonious relationships with others. Students who have high emotionality will be able to overcome the various problems they face and achieve success. This research uses quantitative research and is analyzed using descriptive research method with sample t-test technique tryout used. One variable in this research is emotional intelligence. The population in this study is 68 students. The sample of this research uses a random sampling method). with a specific purpose. The sample is taken as many as 68 students. The data collection uses a Likert scale. The data analysis method is assisted by using the SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) program. A total of 12 students or 17.65%, have a low level of emotional intelligence, as many as 30 students or 44.12% have a moderate level of emotional intelligence, as many as 24 students or 35.29% have a high level of emotional intelligence and as many as 2 students or 2.94% have a very high level of emotional intelligence. At the moderate level is k the fact that knowledge of emotional intelligence is still rarely provided by formal education in improving students' emotional intelligence abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the discipline of students at SMA Negeri 9 Yogyakarta. The character of students at SMA Negeri 9 Yogyakarta is in a good category. If appropriately managed, this character has the potential to positively affect the discipline of students. This research was conducted in SMA Negeri 9 Yogyakarta. This research was conducted in 2 cycles. The development of this Best Practice is focused on improving student discipline through Strengthening Character Education (PPK) in SMA Negeri 9 Yogyakarta with details of the number of male students at SMA Negeri 9 Yogyakarta is 213 people, equivalent to 37.50% and female students totaled 355 people. Or the equivalent of 62.50%. The observation sheet in this research instrument will use a checklist. Best practice activities have succeeded in improving student discipline by strengthening character education (PPK) at SMA Negeri 9 Yogyakarta. This is evidenced by an increase in students' average discipline developing optimally, namely from class X, XI, and XII. From the initial conditions, it is still low or has not developed optimally. In Cycle I, there was an increase compared to the initial conditions before corrective action, namely with the criteria starting to develop, only class XI changed to class X and XI, and class XII developed as expected, in cycle II, action had an increase compared to cycle I, in cycle I all class X and XI began to develop. Class XII developed according to expectations, turning into class X developing according to expectations, and class XI and XII developing very well. In contrast, the assessment criteria began to develop and had not developed yet.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the pattern of fostering the religious character and attitude of nationalism of the students of SMP Negeri 6 Salatiga, the supporting and inhibiting factors and the connectivity between the two. This research is a qualitative research with a naturalistic descriptive approach. Data collection techniques using interview methods, observation and documentation. Character building in students uses exemplary, habituation, mau'izah, amtsal, tsawab and i'qab methods. The character building process has both inhibiting and supporting factors. Inhibiting factors in the form of funds used using independent funds, lack of student awareness and discipline, different student backgrounds, student human error, lack of provisions for learning to read and write Al-Quran, lack of controling from teachers, developments in science and technology such as gadgets or cellphones, there are figures that students fear and the covid-19 pandemic. Supporting factors are adequate school facilities, high student interest and direct assistance from teachers and counseling teachers. The results showed that the religious attitudes and attitudes of nationalism had an interrelated relationship with each other, where the religious character of the students was good, the attitude of nationalism was also good.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the values of tolerance for people of different religions, the application of social attitudes to people of different religions as well as the driving and inhibiting factors for the application of the values of tolerance and social attitudes of interfaith communities in Dusun Bondalem, Jumo Village, Jumo District. Temanggung Regency. This study uses a qualitative research approach because the data and research results obtained are processed and explained based on the author's description. Sources of data in the study include primary data sources, namely the results of interviews, and secondary data sources which can be photos of activities in the community. The results showed that the application of the values of tolerance and social attitudes of the people of different religions in Bondalem Hamlet was the presence of every activity of the people of the Bondalem Hamlet community, all residents participated regardless of their religious background. This is manifested in the daily attitudes of residents in Bondalem Hamlet. The social attitudes that exist in the people of Bondalem Hamlet are very good and are well implemented by the residents of Bondalem Hamlet. The driving factor: all residents want a safe, peaceful and prosperous life, so that in this Bondalem Hamlet, all residents mingle to create such community life. The inhibiting factors for community members in Bondalem Hamlet are economic problems that are generally middle to lower, as well as social problems where residents are fanatical about their religion and problems arise.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the process of implementing online learning via Dragonlearn Era Pandemic Covid-19. In addition to knowing the perceptions of students and teachers towards the application of online learning via Dragonlearn Era Pandemic Covid-19 and to find out the advantages and barriers to learning online via Dragonlearn Era Pandemic Covid-19. 19. This type of research uses a qualitative approach, data sources in this study include primary and secondary data sources. In the data collection technique, researchers used the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. In this study, respondents were 1 teacher and 3 students of MI Ma'had Islam Kopeng. The results of this study conclude that the process of implementing online learning via Dragonlearn Era Pandemic Covid-19 has been going well, with careful planning students can carry out learning smoothly so that teachers can evaluate through the available statistics page. Students are interested in learning like this because it produces a new learning atmosphere and many of their learning outcomes have been maximized. The teacher considers that the application of online learning via dragonlearn in the Covid-19 pandemic era has been effective because in addition to reducing the risk of the spread of Covid-19 they will also gain new experience and knowledge. The advantage is that they are more active and more confident in asking questions, they can access it anytime and anywhere. However, learning like this has obstacles that lie in the network. This learning also has disadvantages, namely that there are convoluted types of questions and the learning cannot be face-to-face so that the teacher cannot convey the material optimally.
