Abstract

The objective of this research is to give recommendation for a bakery chain operator called Greggs in terms of improving their breakfast menu selection to generate more sales. The research method uses SWOT analysis to produce a strategic development plan. Greggs is one of the largest United Kingdom bakery stores and performs well in generating revenue as the turnover. The uncertainty of Brexit, the minimum wage set by the government, the highest proportion of people who usually eat breakfast on the go, development of a mobile app, breakfast preference to a healthier fresh meal and reduce sugar consumption, competitor, extreme winter weather, and the government policy have an impact on Gregg revenue. Based on the SWOT analysis result it can be concluded that Gregg needs to utilize the position as the market leader to promote the benefit of high-quality healthy food, use the revenue to start on research for healthy products innovation, use the healthy breakfast trend to introduce vegan breakfast menu, add more drink option for the breakfast deal to make it more convenient for people to commute, keep focusing on the quality and taste development with a competitive price, add more menu that correspondent with consumer demand, and try to efficiently spend the revenue based on priority to cut operating cost.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the development of Industrial Revolution 4.0 technology in the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector, to improve the standard of quality business product brands by creating a web-based information system. To support this research, we used qualitative descriptive research methods to describe existing phenomena, both natural and human engineering, that pay more attention to the characteristics, quality, and interrelationships between activities. The results show that product brand development for web-based small and medium enterprises is compelling so that it will be able to compete with other business product brands globally. This is due to a web-based information system created to introduce various products, the owners of MSMEs products. The information system was designed to input the MSME owners' data, starting from product brands, catalogs, and services. Therefore, the information system can help marketing and improve the owners' ability in the product brand development that can be used to compete in the global market. That way, the society can access various information about superior products from the MSME owners who have a product quality is no less good than other excellent products.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine customer satisfaction by looking at the variables of interaction quality, system quality, and usability. This is done so that Chocolatier Dessert, as one of the desserts and snacks retailers, can compete and grow, so a website is designed to promote the goods produced. The method used the waterfall method, which works on the essence of a system that is done sequentially or linearly. The data was collected by distributing a list of questions to 50 respondents. The data collected was then processed using the SPSS application to test its validation and reliability. It is done to measure customer satisfaction and the variables that influence it. The results show that promoting the chocolatier through the website was very effective where the interaction quality and information system variables affected customer satisfaction, while usability did not. From the results of this study, it can be seen to maintain customer satisfaction. It is necessary to pay attention to the interaction system and information systems in promoting the Chocolatier Dessert.

Abstract

The purpose of making this android-based application design is to maximize the potential of each colleague who wants or is running a business. The method used to meet system development needs is the descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach. Object-oriented development methods and prototyping development methods are used as the basis for building the system. The results show that the data information collected through the application can provide information in tips that can be applied. This system is formed based on the DISC Test personality results, which will be processed through the system. Then the match values are obtained with the predetermined business field data to obtain appropriate results. Using this application is expected to make business people more aware of each consumer's personality desires. With this application, the results of the data obtained are expected to help fellow beginner businessmen determine what position or business is suitable for them. This application acts as a helper or advisor that makes it easier for entrepreneurs to make decisions and increase the businessman's potential.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design an online sales website in the fashion field to increase sales at the Fashionku store. The research method used a waterfall method by observing and designing a web-based system, which uses the help of XAMPP software as well as analytical tools using PHP, HTML, and CSS. The research results show that website design for Fashionku online sales. The existence of online websites for Fashionku stores is expected to increase sales. Product innovation, distribution of advertisements, and website appearance with complete features are things that will attract the attention of customers to buy products.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to show reports that revealed small businesses in Indonesia have many concerns about survival, competitiveness, and efficiency due to related issues such as finance, lack of information and knowledge, capabilities and capacity. This research is based on problems related to IT implementation in Indonesia. It determines the problems associated with implementation and identifies factors for successful IT implementation in Indonesia. The descriptive qualitative method with literature review was carried out to obtain data that has been changed in the form of book notes, newspapers, agendas, inscriptions, minutes of meetings, and magazines. This study intends to be a reference in the development of small businesses in Indonesia who are very concerned about the development of technology that can improve small businesses to utilize social media as promotion.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to get an insight into the online shopping pattern of Bandung citizens. Research about the online shopping pattern and the impact on businesses ‘with brick and wall’ concept especially in Indonesia is very rare. This research also gives a picture of why a lot of shops with brick and wall concept in Bandung have fewer customers and end up with the closing of the store. The data was obtained from 400 respondents from all districts in Bandung city which were taken by proportional random sampling. Bandung citizens already get accustomed to using the online platform for shopping. The main reasons to shop online are because it is easier, cheaper and faster. The platforms that are frequently used for online shopping are e-commerce and social media. According to this research result, it can be seen there has been a movement on the place to shop for Bandung citizens, where previously most of the citizens shop at bricks and wall retailers but now most of them shift to an online platform. Therefore, entrepreneurs need to reevaluate their businesses by taking into consideration the shift in the shopping pattern of Bandung citizens.

Abstract

Cooperatives are Business entities that are driven and owned by members seeking to achieve common needs in various fields, utilizing the Industrial Era 4.0 in order to reach its goals. This paper aims to point out the impacts of innovation models, micro small and medium enterprises, and development strategies towards cooperatives in industrial era 4.0. Research methods outlined that are applied in this paper consists of Qualitative, Quantitative, Descriptive, and secondary research approaches. The results regarding to this paper are as follows. With the innovation model designated for the cooperative’s renovation, it is expected that it has a positive impact on cooperatives and its pupils, creating a healthy and fair transaction process. Furthermore, small, medium and micro businesses as well as cooperatives need to adopt survival strategies and strategic methods, apply modern systems to their business processes, and strive to successfully answer various global challenges in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Finally, the transformation of the cooperative development strategy needs to be carried out considering that the new challenges of cooperatives are not only related to how to do business in the digital era but also change the overall perspective of the governance found in a cooperative of this modern era.

Abstract

Nowadays, there have been significant and considerable increments in the employment of product design in many companies, societies and fields. Product design has become an important tool for the growing of the image of the brand or trademark. The effective role of product design in the development of new product has been established. Product design has an influential effect on the marketing of any products. Also, product design has critical role in the judgment and decision making of consumers toward any product. In addition, innovation of designs has significant and positive effects on the performance of manufacturing. Thus, the aim of this paper is to review and evaluate the design importance, innovation, marketing and the factors that affecting the consumers’ preferences toward the design.

Abstract

Television, newspapers, and radio were the only forms of media available to companies until the late 1990s; however, in the early 2000s, a media revolution occurred, and the world was introduced to Social Media. Like any other kind of media, social media is a tool for communication, but it is utilized on a wider scale for social engagement utilizing highly accessible and scalable technologies. Techniques of communication Social media has a beneficial impact and influence on both the business and its clients. Marketers are increasingly relying on social media, which requires relatively little effort. Consumers in today's world consider a company's internet presence before making a decision.As a result, businesses may innovate while still building a strong social presence by continually attending to their consumers' wants and concerns. Companies have accepted Social Media as a vital tool for their marketing campaigns on a global scale; however, this is not the case in India. What are the advantages of using social media?
