Assessment of financial performance can be known through a report, a report which describes the growth of the company's financial performance in certain periods. The report is called the financial statements. In order to make the financial statements useful for the parties concerned, it is needed to conduct analysis of the relations of the items in the financial statements which is often called financial statement analysis.The purpose of this study, to determine the growth of financial performance at PT. Gresik Cipta Sejahtera Medan in 2011-2014 based on the analysis of liquidity, leverage, and profitability.The data analysis method used is comparative descriptive method using a ratio measurement of liquidity, leverage, and profitability. Based on the current ratio, inventory to net working capital and debt to equity ratio, the company is in good shape, although they fluctuate during the period from 2011-2014. Based on the quick ratio, cash ratio, debt ratio, gross profit margin, net profit margin, ROI, and ROE, the company is in unfavorable circumstances, thus encouraged to improve efficiency.

Indonesia has a poverty problem. The National Program for Independent Rural Community Empowerment is one of the strategies for community empowerment in an effort to accelerate poverty reduction. The SPP (Savings and Loans for Women) program is one of the programs from PNPM-MP that makes women or housewives the target of empowerment. The purpose of implementing the SPP (Savings and Loans for Women) program is to reduce poverty through capital loans for women accompanied by empowerment. This study aims to find out how the implementation of the National Program for Independent Rural Community Empowerment, in particular the implementation of the SPP (Savings and Loans for Women) Program in the study in Ompu Raja Hutapea Timur Village, Laguboti District, Toba Samosir Regency, about what aspects influence the community in participating in the program, how the flow implementation, as well as the obstacles encountered in the ongoing implementation of the program and their solutions.The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method. The research informants were the perpetrators of the National Program for Independent Rural Community Empowerment in Ompu Raja Hutapea Timur Village, namely the Village Head, TPK Chair, Village Community Empowerment Cadre, Person in Charge of Operational Activities, UPK Chair, and several group members who were participants of the SPP program. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews and then the results were analyzed qualitatively. From the results of research conducted in the village of Ompu Raja Hutapea east regarding the implementation of the National Program for Independent Rural Community Empowerment, especially the SPP activity program, community participation is more dominated by the economic aspect. The lack of routine meetings for community empowerment by the government also results in obstacles such as delays in loan repayments. However, the community stated that they felt helped by the implementation of the SPP program.

The rapid development of science and technology today has an influence on all activities carried out by organizations. One of the technologies that can help in the work within the organization is to use a computerized system. By using a computerized system, each office work unit can increase work effectiveness and time efficiency.This study aims to determine how the influence of the computerized system relationship on the effectiveness of the work of employees at the Regional Population and Civil Registry Office of Medan City. In this study, the data were taken and obtained through the distribution of questionnaires, then processed through the analysis of the product moment correlation coefficient and the determinant coefficient analysis, which were then presented in the form of scientific analysis.Based on the results of the study, it was found that the effect of the Computerized System on the effectiveness of the work of employees at the Regional Population and Civil Registry Office of Medan City was in the medium category. This is proven by the calculation of the product moment correlation coefficient of 0.551. Furthermore, by calculating the determinant correlation, the result is 30%. Which means that the effect of the effectiveness of the work of employees at the Office of Population and Civil Registry Regional Medan City 30% is caused by the computerized system, the remaining 70% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.

Street children are one of the most common social problems facing each country in the world. Street children are divided into three, namely: children who have economic activities as child labor on the street, but still have a strong relationship with their parents. Children who participate fully in the streets, both socially and economically. Children from families living on the streets. This study aims to describe the achievement of coaching program objectives through NGO KOPA for street children in Kampung Aur. To know the supporting and inhibiting factors of coaching program through NGO KOPA for street children in Kampung Aur. Since Kampung Aur is located in a densely populated area on the banks of the Deli River, the urban poor condition has many problems with children's background, such as the problem of street children and children in trouble with their families. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative with data collection method is observation / observation, documentation, and interview. The data already collected will be presented by reducing unnecessary data in the study. After that done withdrawal of conclusion / verification. Based on the results of research, the program runs well although not too significant, it's just still have deficiencies in the inputs, namely human resources, facilities and also insufficient funds. This research is motivated by the importance of store atmosphere in a cafe or shop, because now the price, discount, promotion and service do not become guarantee of consumer to make a purchase, but store atmosphere (good store atmosphere) will be the main attraction for cafe Who own it, so as to attract consumers to make a purchase.The purpose of this research is to know the influence of store exterior, general interior, store layout and interior display to purchase decision at Chirurgie Cafe and Books Medan.This research uses quantitative method with associative approach. The population in this study were all visitors of Chirurgie Cafe and Books Medan with sample size 100 people. The sampling technique in this research is done by using Non Probability Sampling technique with accidental sampling technique and purposive sampling. Analytical methods used are validity test, reliability test, t-test, f-test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis test, and coefficient of determination (R2) test.The result of this research shows that partially the result of store exterior variables is tcount (1,728)> ttable (1,6608) and probability value 0,087 <0,1, which means that store exterior (X1) has positive and significant effect to purchasing decisions). The general interior variables show that tcount (2.234)> ttable (1.6608) and probability value 0.028 <0.1, which means that general interior (X2) has positive and significant effect to purchase decision (Y). The store layout variable shows that tcount (2.2072)> ttable (1.6608) and probability value 0.041 <0.1, which means that store layout (X3) has positive and significant effect on purchase decision (Y). Exterior store variables show that tcount (0.397)> ttable (1.6608) and probability value 0.692 <0.1, which means that interior display (X4) has positive but not significant effect on purchasing decision (Y). Simultaneously the independent variable (free) shows that the fcount is 7.011 with the significance level 0.000, while the ftable at the 90% confidence level (α = 0.10) is 2.00. Then fcount (7.011)> ftable (2.00) and probability value 0.000 <0.10, which means all independent variables simultaneously affect the dependent variable.

Business competition is a common thing in the corporate world. As time goes by, business competition faced by the company is also getting tougher. This requires the company to be more careful in formulating a strategy to win the competition. Seeing the fierce increasing competition, the authors observed that PT. JAS Tour and Travel needs to establish the exact formulation of competitive strategy to find the factors of internal and external key that can affect the level of success of the strategy. Strength of business travel agencies will be capital in competitive advantage of opportunities that exist.This study aims to determine competitive strategy what is the most appropriate for use by PT. JAS Tour And Travel in order to maintain the existence amid increasing fierce competition. The strategy formulated by analyzing the internal and external forces, and the opportunities and threats of the company.The method used is a qualitative descriptive study to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Analysis of the data used is the data collection phase, the stage of data analysis and decision-making stage.Based on research conducted by SWOT analysis as a media strategy formulation, PT. JAS Tour And Travel supports aggressive strategy. The input stage includes EFE matrix with a total value of 2.85 and IFE matrix with a total value of 2.90. While the results of the matrix CP is known that the indicators of competition are: PT. JAS Tour And Travel 3.85, Senandika Tour And Travel amounted to 3.60, and Manalu Jaya Travel at 3.65. SWOT matrix matching phase and the matrix IE. SWOT analysis showed that PT. JAS Tour And Travel is in quadrant I, which states that PT. JAS Tour And Travel supports aggressive strategy. From the matrix IE, known that. JAS Tour And Travel is in quadrant V which is a strategy to preserve and defend. Therefore, PT. JAS Tour And Travel can consider two alternative strategies, namely market penetration and product development. Phase decision to use a QSPM matrix and obtained a total value of the highest appeal and the right to apply the company is a market penetration strategy with a value of 6.00. The proposed strategy can be applied to improve the quality of services and conduct market development.

The government formed an agency to provide free health services for the poor through the health insurance program. The application of the application of the national guarantee is carried out by BPJS Health. Based on this background the author is interested in writing this thesis to find out and understand how the effectiveness of the implementation of the BPJS Health program in providing services to the economically weak community at the Helvetia District Health Center, Medan. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques with primary data collection in the form of interviews and field observations, and secondary data collection in the form of documentation and literature study. Determination of informants in this study using a purposive technique sampling. From the results of this research, it was concluded that in accordance with the analysis tools of the effectiveness indicators, namely, the objectives of program implementation, the accuracy of the methods and targets of program implementation, the success of program implementation, how to obtain resources in implementing the program, adequate facilities and infrastructure, the state of human resources ( Human Resources) are adequate, the performance of employees in providing services has been achieved quite well so that the implementation of the BPJS Health program at the Helvetia Health Center in providing services to the economically weak community is quite effective. However, there are still some obstacles that come from the community that must be overcome so that services can run well.

Implementation of the policy of New Student Acceptance (PPDB) Online is a process of implementing well-formulated education policy. Online PPDB Policy is used as a basis for implementing new student acceptance system by online. to assess the success of the implementation of PPDB Online policy can be seen from 2 major variables namely policy content and policy implementation environment. This objective is to find out how the implementation of the policy of acceptance of new learners (PPDB) Online and see the problems that arise when implementing the policies implemented by the Education Office of North Sumatra province.The research method used in this study is a qualitative approach in which the study was a descriptive study is to determine or describe the reality of events. Data collection techniques are Interviews, Observations, and documents related to the research. Data analysis techniques in this study were conducted qualitatively. This study uses nine policy implementation variables from Merilee S Grindle covering the interests of the target group, Type of benefits received, Degree of change, Location of decision making, Program implementers, Resources, power, interests, and strategies, Institutional characteristics, Compliance level .From the research, it can be concluded that the implementation of the policy of new student enrollment (PPDB) at the middle school level has been running well in terms of the content of the policy, the benefits received, the expected changes, the location of the decision and the Characteristics of Institutions and Regimes, The Power, Interest, And Strategy Of The Actors Involved. However, in terms of policy implementers, resources and compliance levels have not gone well. It is inhibiting the success of the implementation of the policy of new students (PPDB) Online.

Global economic crisis that hit the world economy, demands countries to improve its market strategy. A country needs to manage its country image as a company managed its brand image. Because a powerful nation brand, will bring a great inbound and outbound effect as well. Inbound effect is related to investment and tourism, whereas outbound effect is related to export and human resources. Korea is one of those countries that are serious about building its Nation brand through the spread of its pop culture (Korean Wave) and spends million annually to the Korean Wave. It suggests a real discussion about the influence of the Korean Wave towards the Nation brand of South Korea.The aims of this research to determine the influence of the Korean Wave among the students of the Faculty of Social and Political Science, University of North Sumatra towards the Nation brand of South Korea.This research is an associate research with quantitative approach, carried out at the Faculty of Social and Political Science, University of North Sumatra from December 2016 to January 2017. Data collection was done by spreading the questionnaire to 148 respondents who knew and or like Korean pop culture, in this case, its music and drama.The research result shows that the Korean Wave has significant influence towards the Nation brand of South Korea. The amount of influence is equal to 48.6%, while the remaining 51.4% is influenced by other factors which were not examined in this study.

E-government policy is one form of reform in the implementation of services for the public in Indonesia which aims to improve effectiveness, efficiency, transparency, and accountability in public service implementing institutions in terms of achieving organizational goals. The purpose of this study was to find out how the implementation of Electronic Government at the Department of Investment and One Stop Integrated Licensing Services (DPMPPTSP) Deli Serdang Regency.The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This method aims to explain reality contextually, interpret phenomena that are of concern to researchers and understand participants' perspectives on the problems that occur. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through interviews with resource persons, and secondary data was obtained through literature and documentation studies. The data analysis technique used is a model approach with data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.The results of this study reveal that E-government in DPMPPTSP can be implemented quite well from increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of licensing services. The communication factors, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure in DPMPPTSP are also quite good. The absence of spatial planning regulations makes the licensing process inefficient because it adds to the bureaucracy. DPMPPTSP is advised to provide ICT technical training to employees so that DPMPPTSP's performance is even better.
