Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence jointly or partially between organizational culture, compensation and loyalty to the performance of the Workers at the Politeknik Penerbangan Medan. This research uses descriptive qualitative method using primary and secondary data. The population is the workers of the company. Eighty nine workers become the sample of this research. Data analysis technique used is linear regression  which shows that from the three independent variables applied to the regression model (organizational culture, compensation and loyalty). Organizational culture is significant for 0,000 which can be concluded that organizational culture affects performance (hypothesis 1 accepted). Compensation has significant value 0,006which can be concluded that compensation  affects performance (hypothesis 2 accepted). Loyalty variable has significant value 0,013 which means that loyalty influences performance (hypothesis 3 accepted). Research results show that organizational culture, compensation and loyalty all positively influence the performance of the workers. It can be proven using the result of regression statistic test with probability value 0,000 obtained which is lower than α (α=0,05). So, it can be said that organizational culture, compensation and loyalty influence positively the performance of the workers. Thus, hypothesis 4 accepted.

Abstract

This paper is to analyze the budgeting system and its function to develop financial development. This qualitative study employs the document analysis as an instrument to collect data, and hence, this study is categorized as library research. The buddgetting system is strategic element for developing economic sectors, and is utilized as a means for advocacy and controlling towards whether financial income or outcome of the district, region or nation, especially for upcoming periode. Therefore, it is also as sources for continuous development expenses which is clearly targeting achievement and measureable. However, budgeting sytem faces barriers and weaknesses such as political context, legal context, economic conditions, and historical context. Allocating budget as such away further give impact multiplier to enhance the regional income and contribute to spread effect among the society.

Abstract

The problem in this research are: How does the effect of job characteristics on employee performance in Medan Intermediate Tax Service Office. How does work influence affect employee performance, how does work stress affect employee performance, how does motivation influence employee performance, how does work characteristics influence, burden work, work stress and motivation on employee performance. The proposed hypothesis is: Job characteristics have positive and significant effect on employee performance, workload has positive and not significant effect on employee performance, work stress has a positive and not significant effect on employee performance, motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, Job characteristics, burden work, work stress and motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Medan Intermediate Tax Service Office. " The study was conducted at Medan Intermediate Tax Service Office. Jalan Sukamulia No. 17-A, Medan, with a sample of 95 people. Based on the analysis results obtained t value for job characteristics = 7.151, while t-table with dk 95 (Appendix) of 1.66, then t count t-table thus there is a positive influence between job characteristics on employee performance (Hypothesis 1 accepted) The value of t workload = -0.868, while the t-table with dk 95 (Appendix) is 1.66, then t arithmetic ˂ t table thus partially there is a negative influence between workload on employee performance (Hypothesis 2 is accepted). t work stress = -0.105, while t-table with dk 95 (Appendix) of 1.66, then t arithmetic ˂ t table thus partially there is a negative influence between work stress on employee performance Thus hypothesis 3 is accepted as correct. Motivation t value = 2.110, while t-table with dk 95 (Appendix) is 1.66, then t arithmetic ˃ t table thus partially there is a negative influence between work stress on employee performance. Thus hypothesis 4 is accepted as true. The F-count value is 16.502 while the F-table value (Appendix) with the numerator dk 4 and the denominator dk 90 is 2.46 where F-count F table (16.502 2.46) then it can be mentioned that together ( multiple) there is a positive and significant influence of job characteristics, workload, work stress and motivation on employee performance. Thus the hypothesis 5 submitted accepted the truth.

Abstract

This paper is based on research at the company PT. PLN (Persero) Region of North Sumatera Medan on the influence of discipline and performance appraisal toward employees’ work attitude. This study involved all employees of the company as a population, while the sample was only 30 persons through random method. Data obtained through questionnaires was analyzed based on statistical approaches, namely multiple linear regression, t test (partial test), coefficient of determination (R²) and test f (simultaneous test) which are calculated by using SPSS program. The results of statistical process showed that the positive influence of both independent variables of discipline and performance appraisal of employee attitude even though low. This was shown through the double correlation test (R) of 0.126, so that further evaluation is needed to improve the quality of employees’ work of the company toward better performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya penurunan pembelian produk Lipstick Wardah dalam kurun waktu Januari 2018 – Juni 2018. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuidan menganalisis pengaruh harga dan promosi terhadap minat konsumen membeli kosmetik lipstick  Wardah pada mahasiswi Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara.Populasidalam penelitianiniberjumlah511mahasiswi Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara. Sampeldalampenelitianiniadalah84responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Proportional random. Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang diukur dengan skala Likert. Data sekunder diperoleh dari buku-buku yang berkaitan dengan penelitian. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian data menunjukkan bahwa harga dan promosi secara serentak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat konsumen membeli kosmetik lipstick Wardah dibuktikan melalui pengujian signifikansi simultan diperoleh Fhitung (44,965) ≥ Ftabel (3,11) dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,000 0,05. Melalui uji signifikansi parsial dinyatakan bahwa variabel harga berpengaruh secarapositif dan signifikan terhadap Minat Konsumen, hal init erlihat dari thitung≥ ttabel (3,401 ≥ 1,989) dengan tingkat signifikansi (0,001 ≤ 0,05) dan berpengaruh secarapositif dan signifikan terhadap MinatKonsumen, haliniterlihatdarithitung ≥ ttabel (4,144 ≥ 1,989) dengan tingkat signifikansi (0,000 ≤ 0,05).Melalui pengujian koefisien determinasi (R2)  diperoleh nilai R = 0,514 yang artinya terdapat hubungan yang cukup erat antara harga dan promosi terhadap minat konsumen membeli kosmetik lipstick  Wardah pada mahasiswi fakultas ekonomi Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara yaitu sebesar 51,4%.

Abstract

Problem of this study is how influence of  job attitude on  employee’s performance. How influence of self ability on  employee’s performance. How influence of  job stress on  employee’s performance. How influence  job attitude, self ability and self ability on  employee’s performance. The purpose of this study to determine and analyze the effect of job attitude on employee’s performance. Determine and analyze the effect of self ability on  employee’s performance. Determine and analyze the effect of job stress on  employee’s performance. Determine and analyze the effect job attitude, self ability and job stress on employee’s performance. Sample in the study is 52 people. Data analysis techniques used in this study is descriptive analyze and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate  job attitude variable has a positive and significant effect on  employee’s performance. Self ability variable has a positive and significant effect on  employee’s performance. Job stress variable has a positive and significant effect on  employee’s performance. Job attitude, self ability and  job stress variable has a positive and significant effect on  employee’s performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of providing incentives, work facilities and motivation partially and simultaneously on the work effectiveness of employees at the Regional Inspectorate of Labuhanbatu Regency. Purpose of the study: To determine the effect of providing incentives, work facilities and motivation partially and simultaneously on the work effectiveness of employees at the Regional Inspectorate of Labuhanbatu Regency. The proposed hypothesis is: There is a significant effect of providing incentives, work facilities and motivation partially and jointly on the work effectiveness of employees at the Regional Inspectorate of Labuhanbatu Regency. The research was conducted at the Regional Inspectorate of Labuhanbatu Regency Jalan H. Idris No. 3 Rantau Prapat, Labuhanbatu Regency, with a population of 62 people, and a sample of 62 people. Based on the analysis results obtained incentives giving have a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of employees work of the Inspektorat Daerah Kabupaten Labuhanbatu, this is supported by the results of t count analysis t-table (2,774 2,002) at n = 62 at 95% significance level. Work facilities style has a positif and significant effect on the effectiveness of employees work of the Inspektorat Daerah Kabupaten Labuhanbatu, this is supported by an analysis of t count t-table (3,807 2,002) at n = 62 at 95% significance level. Motivation has a not effect on the effectiveness of employees work of the Inspektorat Daerah Kabupaten Labuhanbatu, this is supported by an analysis of t count t-table (2,385 2,002) at n = 62 with a significant level of 95%.Value of F-count F table (23,399 2,79) This states that together (multiple) there are positive and significant effects of incentives giving, work facilities style and motivation on the effectiveness of employees work of employees of the Inspektorat Daerah Kabupaten Labuhanbatu. Thus the hypothesis proposed is accepted by the truth.

Abstract

The formulation of this research problem is whether there is an influence of work attitude towards performance. Is the influence of emotional intelligence to performance. Is there a characteristic influence of work on performance. Is there any influence of motivation to employee performance. Is there an influence of work attitude, emotional intelligence, job characteristics and performance motivation. The purpose of this research is to analyse the influence of work attitudes towards performance. To analyse the effect of emotional intelligence on performance. To analyse the influence of occupational characteristics on performance. To analyse the impact of motivation on performance. To analyse the influence of emotional intelligence work attitudes, job characteristics and performance motivation. The number of samples in this study was 38 people. The data analysis methods used are descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analyses. Work attitude variables have a positive and significant impact on performance. The variable of emotional intelligence affects positively and significantly towards performance. Job characteristic variables have a positive and significant impact on performance. Motivation variables have a positive and significant effect on performance. Variable work attitudes, emotional intelligence, job characteristics and motivation have a positive and significant impact on performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine and analyze the influence of organizational characteristics, organizational support and job satisfaction on Self Actualization, Job Satisfaction and International Citizenship Behavior (OCB) on the Employees Performance of Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Padang Lawas, both partially and simultaneously. The sample in this research were all employees, amounting to 66 people. Determination of the number of samples using a saturated sample (census). The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis method and multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 20.00 for windows. The results showed that self actualization had a positive and significant effect on the employees performance of Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Padang Lawas; job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on the employees performance of Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Padang Lawas; organizational citicenship behavior has not a significant positive effect on the employees performance of employees of Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Padang Lawas; and self actualization, job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the employees performance of Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Padang Lawas. The employees performance of Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Padang Lawas can be influenced by self actualization, job satisfaction and OCB of 46.0%. While the remaining 54.0% can be explained by other factors not examined in this research.

Abstract

Based on initial observations made by researchers, it was found that several problems became the background of this research, namely: the low concern of employees in listening to other people's problems in order to support smooth work. The lack of openness, empathy and support among co-workers. Employee awareness is still low in controlling the completion of the work they carry out. And communication between superiors and subordinates is still formal, which results in information, ideas and suggestions from subordinates not reaching their superiors. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether the influence of emotional intelligence on employee performance. What is the effect of job characteristics on employee performance? What is the effect of work communication on employee performance? What is the effect of emotional intelligence, job characteristics and work communication on employee performance at the Labuhanbatu District Government Health Office. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of emotional intelligence on employee performance. The effect of job characteristics on employee performance. The effect of work communication on employee performance. As well as the influence of emotional intelligence, job characteristics and work communication on employee performance simultaneously at the Labuhanbatu District Government Health Office. The sample in this study amounted to 88 people. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study explain that the variables of emotional intelligence and work communication have a significant effect on employee performance. While the job characteristics variable has no significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, the variables of emotional intelligence, job characteristics and work communication have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Labuhanbatu District Health Office.
