Abstract

This paper is to investigate whether promotion and price of motor cycle namely Yamaha Scorpion Z effect to elevate its volume sales at PT. Alfa Scorpii Sentral Yamaha Medan. The document of the company throughout year 2016 is used as an instrument in data collection and it is main data, while the data gained from interview section is used for supporting main data which is quantitative and statistical data. Hence, the method of multiple linier regressions is used to analyze the data. The results show that partially the promotion variable effects significantly to elevate sale volume of the Yamaha Scorpio Z (series cw) at PT. Alfa Scorpii Sentral Yamaha Medan. Nevertheless, the price does not give impact significantly to increasing sale volume of the Yamaha Scorpio Z (seri cw) at PT. Alfa Scorpii Sentral Yamaha Medan and simultaneously, promotion and price do not give impact to elevate to sale volume of Yamaha Scorpio Z (serrial cw) at PT. Alfa Scorpii Sentral Yamaha Medan

Abstract

Based on the analysis results obtained There is a significant effect between the value of -t Motivation = 4.357, while t-table with dk 86 (attached) of 1.66, then t arithmetic t-table thus partially there is a significant influence between motivation on performance, Value of t Discipline = 4,574, while t-table with dk 86 (attached) of 1.66, then t arithmetic ˃ t table thus partially there is a significant influence between discipline on performance. Value of work facility t = 1.935 while t-table with dk 86 (attached) is 1.66, then t count t table, thus partially there is a significant influence between work facilities on performance. The value of t policy leadership = 1,780 while the t-table with dk 86 (attached) of 1.66, then t arithmetic t table thus partially there is a significant influence between leadership policies on performance. The F-count value is 60.162 while the F-table value (attached) with the numerator dk 4 and the denominator dk 81 is 2.48 where F-count F table (60.162 2.48) it can be mentioned that together ( multiple) there is a positive and significant influence of motivation, discipline, work facilities and leadership policies on performance.

Abstract

This paper is based on the research regarding investigation on compensation, working environment and employees’ satisfaction in the company. In this regard, the researcher chose the employees of PT. Tor Ganda Medan as participants. The PT. Tor Ganda Medan was a company engaged in oil palm plantations and processing factory and was located on Jl. Abdullah Lubis No. 26 Medan. It was interesting to explore the effect of compensation and working environment to the employees’ satisfaction. The research type was descriptive quantitative or explanatory description in which questionnaire, interview and document used as instruments in data collection. The Likert scale used for analyzing data gained from questionnaire, while the data from interview and documents stood as complement and would be crossed-check with the questionnaire data. Statistical analysis used for this quantitative research such as multiple regressions where the population of the study consisted of 268 persons with 160 sampels through Slovin technical formula. The result of the research indicated that some problems occured in the PT. Tor Ganda Medan related to employees’ perception for unfair compensation and uncomfortable work environment that was in turn effecting to employees’ dissatisfaction and leading them to resign. The hypothesis showed that compensation and working environment simultaneously and partially has a significant effect on job satisfaction. R Square of 90.3% job satisfaction variable could be explained by the compensation variable and work environment, while the rest was 9.7% which could be explained by other factors that were not examined such as leadership style, improper placement with the expertise, the severity of the work, the nature of workers, etc. Hence, the partial results of the study showed that there was a significant effect on the job satisfaction where thecompensation was the most dominant factor influencing job satisfaction.

Abstract

Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana  pengaruh Tingkat PendidikandanPengembanganKarirTerhadap EfektivitasKerjaKaryawan di PT CiomasAdisatwaRumahPotongAyam (RPA) Unit Medan baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Populasi dan sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan di perusahaan tersebut yang berjumlah 100 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara langsung dan angket. Hasil penelitian ini adalah secara parsial variabel Pendidikantidak  berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Efektivitaskerjakaryawan  dengan nilai thitung ttabel, (1,7851,984,  ), variabel PengembanganKarir   berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Efektivitaskerjakaryawan dengan nilai thitung ttabel, (4,5801,984). Secara Simultan variabel Tingkat pendidikan dan Pengembangan karir, berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Efektivitas Kerja karyawan dengan nilai Fhitung Ftabel,  (23,8033,09). Nilai R2 (RSquare) sebesar 0.329, yang berarti bahwa variabel Tingkat PendidikandanPengembanganKarirberpengaruh Positif dan signifikan terhadap EfektivitasKerjaKaryawan di PT CiomasAdisatwaRumahPotongAyam (RPA) Unit Medan  sebesar 32,90%, dan sisanya sebesar 67,10% lagi, dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak diteliti.

Abstract

PT. Biru Indokon is a network steel distributor with the prime furing brand. The survey results revealed that several months ago problems arose related to sales promotions and distribution channels which caused sales targets to not be achieved as planned by the company. The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the effect of sales promotion and distribution channels on purchasing decisions. The theory used in this study is the theory of sales promotion, distribution channels, and purchasing decisions. The method used is a quantitative approach, the type of research is descriptive quantitative and the nature of the research is descriptive explanatory. Methods of data collection with interviews and questionnaires. Method of data analysis with multiple linear regression. The population is consumers who buy prime furing as many as 111 people and sampling using a saturated sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that partial sales promotions and distribution channels have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions with a significant level of 0.05. Simultaneously, sales promotions and distribution channels have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions with a significant level of 0.05. This study concludes is that both partially and simultaneously sales promotions and distribution channels have a positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions for prime furing.

Abstract

This research is to determine the influence of position and mutation of employees ' performance at PT Plantation Nusantara V Sei Intan Pekan Baru Riau.  The samples used in this study were as many as 50 respondents. The data analysis techniques used are qualitative methods, statistical methods using SPSS v 19.0 programs. Primary data collection is conducted through questionnaires distributed to employees of PT Nusantara V Kebun Sei Intan. The method of analysis used is quantitative deskriftif using multiple linear regression. The results proved that the position variables affect positively and insignificant to the employee's performance and the mutation variables are positively and insignificant to the employee's performance, as well as the position and mutation variables Simultaneously positive and significant impact on employee performance. Keywords: job title, mutation, employee performance

Abstract

This research is based on the importance of the role of air transportation in supporting national development, therefore efforts are needed in realizing and improving aviation safety which is a service product, especially at Medan's Kualanamu airport. This study uses independent variables, namely: Training (X1), motivation (X2), workload (X3), and increased productivity of Airnav Indonesia employees in Medan branch as the dependent variable. Collecting research data using a questionnaire method distributed to 72 employees who work as Air Traffic Controllers who are Airnav Indonesia employees who are tasked with providing direct flight traffic services to provide air traffic guidance services, especially for aircraft flight traffic, such as aircraft. flying, helicopters and more. The results of the analysis and the t test show that the variable training has no significant impact on productivity. Meanwhile, motivation and workload have a significant positive effect on employee productivity in the Medan branch of the Airnav Indonesia work environment. In testing the hypothesis based on the F test or Anova test, it is known that the value of Fcount (35,508) Ftable (2.74) with a significance level of 0,000 0.05, so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that training, work motivation, and workload simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the work productivity of Air Traffic Control (ATC) employees in Airnav Indonesia Medan Branch. The result of the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.595. meaning that 59.5% of the dependent variable (work productivity) is influenced or explained by the independent variables, namely training, motivation and workload. The remaining 40.5% (100% - 59.5%) is influenced or explained by other variables outside the variables not used in this study.

Abstract

The problems in this research are: How is the influence of leadership, organizational commitment, motivation and job satisfaction partially and simultaneously on the performance of employees at the Pratama Tax Office in East Medan? Research objectives: To determine the effect of leadership, organizational commitment, motivation and job satisfaction partially and simultaneously on employee performance at the Pratama Tax Office, East Medan. The proposed hypothesis is: There is a significant influence of leadership, organizational commitment, motivation and job satisfaction partially and jointly on the performance of employees at the Pratama Tax Office, East Medan. The study was conducted at the Pratama Medan Timur Tax Service Office, Jalan Sukamulia Number 17A, Medan City, North Sumatra Province, zip code 20152, with a population of 113 people, and the research sample as many as 90 people. Sources of data used are primary data obtained from the distribution of questionnaires, interviews and documentation that was tested with IBM Statistics 24.00 for windows. Based on the analysis results obtained leadership have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees work of the Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Medan Timur, this is supported by the results of t count analysis t-table (5,041 1,988) at n = 90 at 95% significance level. Organizational commitment has a positif and significant effect on the performance of employees work of the Primary Tax Service Office of Medan Timur, this is supported by an analysis of t count t-table (2,617 1,988) at n = 90 at 95% significance level. Motivation has a not effect on the performance of employees work of the Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Medan Timur, this is supported by an analysis of t count -table (0,542 1,988) at n = 90 with a significant level of 95%. Job satisfaction has a effect on the performance of employees work of the Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Medan Timur, this is supported by an analysis of t count -table (2,282 1,988) at n = 90 with a significant level of 95%. Value of F-count F table (12,615 2,48) This states that together (multiple) there are positive and significant effects of leadership, organizational commitment and motivation on the performance of employees work of employees of the Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Medan Timur . Thus the hypothesis proposed is accepted by the truth

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of marketing information systems and product sales strategies on product sales competition of PT. Bank Agris, Tbk Medan. This research is a field research with quantitative methodology. Data obtained through questionnaires is distributed to a sample of 97 respondents. A number of populations is 2,958 people consisting of bank customers. The researcher used incidental sampling techniques as a sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out by multiple linear regression analysis approach which included validity and reliability, classic assumption test, hypothesis testing through t and F test, and test the coefficient of determination (R2). The results prove that: Y = 12,623 + 0,359 X1 + 0,355 X2 + e whereas the t test show that the marketing information system variable has a positive and significant effect on product sales competition where t-count 2.350 t-table 1.661 and product sales strategy variables have a positive and significant effect on product sales competition where t-count 2.359 t-table 1.661. While the results of the F test show that F-count 14,631 F-table 3.09 which means that the independent variable (marketing information system and product sales strategy) simultaneously influences the dependent variable (product sales competition). The test results of the coefficient of determination (R2) show that 23.7% of product sales competition at PT. Bank Agris, Tbk Medan is influenced by marketing information system variables and product sales strategies, while the remaining 76.3% is influenced by other variables that are not examined in this study.

Abstract

The Formulation of this research is how the influence of intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence to the performance of office employees of the main Kesyahbandaran Belawan, and the purpose of this research is to Know and analyze the influence of intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence to the performance of the Office employees of the main Kesyahbandaran Belawan.This research is a quantitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques are conducted through interviews,questionnairequestions and documentation studies. The samples in this study were as many as 60 employees. Variables are measured at Likert scale. Hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analyses through F-test and T-Test. The Results of the test in Unison showed that intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence and spiritual dextancy have significant effect on employee performance variables at the Kesyahbandaran office Belawan with a coefficient of determination value of 0.552 or 55.2%. Partially, intellectual intelligence is positive and significant to the employee's performance at the main Belawan's office of Kesyahbandaran with a regression coefficient value of 0456 or 45.6%. Emotional Intelligence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Belawan main Kesyahbandaran office with a regression coefficient value of 0251 or 25.1%. Spiritual Intelligence is positive and significant to the employee's performance at the Belawan main Kesyahbandaran office with a regression coefficient value of 0274 or 27.4%. The highest value of a regression coefficient is intellectual intelligence of 45.6%.
