Abstract

This research is a type of Class Action Research (PTK) that aims to improve the activeness and learning outcomes of IPS students of grade VIII-2 smp Negeri 1 Sei Bingai Year 2018-2019 through the application of problem-based learning models. Grade VIII-2 students numbered 32 students with a total of 14 male students and 18 female students. This research method uses research methods from Kemmis and Taggart consisting of 4 main components, namely planning, implementation of actions, observations and reflections. Data collection techniques used are tests, observations and documentation. Ice instrument used is a test instrument problem in the form of multiple choice questions and essay questions and observation sheets consisting of indicators of student learning activity. The data is descriptively quantitative and presented in the form of tables and drawings/charts. The data from the study showed that the data on pre-cycle completion percentage by 46.8% increased in cycle I to 84.3% and reached 93.8% in cycle II. In addition to the learning outcomes, students' learning activity also increases every cycle where in cycle I the learning capacity is in the Good category and in cycle II increases to the very Good category. For the activeness of learning students also in cycle I get a good category and increase in cycle II into an excellent category. Based on these results, it was concluded that by applying a problem-based learning model, the activeness of learning and the results of ips learning of grade VIII-2 students of SMP Negeri 1 Sei Bingai Tahunn in 2018-2019 have improved.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to test and analyze the influence of work stress and career development on employee performance in PT. Sinar Pandawa which is located at Jalan Kejaksaan No.7 Medan. This study is a quantitative descriptive study and a population is 94 employees of the company. The questionnaires were used as instruments for data collection from 64 employees as samples of the study and data were analyzed by using multiple regressions whereas the analysis included normality test, heteroscedasticity test and multicollinearity test. The results of this study indicated that work stress partially affects the employees performance of PT. Sinar Pandawa-Medan and so also career development have a significant effect on employee performance. The analysis also indicated that both work stress variables and career development variables simultaneously affect the employee performance of PT Sinar Pandawa-Medan significantly.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah kurangnya kompetensi pegawai dalam bekerja, disiplin dan loyalitas kerja,dalam penyelesaian pekerjaannya sehingga pekerjaan yang dihasilkan kurang baik dan tidak tepat waktu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh Kompetensi, Disiplin dan Loyalitas Kerjaterhadap Kinerja Pegawaipada Bappeda Kota Tanjungbalai. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian eksploratif, dimana variabel diukur dengan skala likert. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara (interview), dengan daftar pertanyaan (questionnaire) dan observasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai pada Bappeda Kota Tanjungbalai. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai pada Bappeda Kota Tanjungbalai yang berjumlah 34 orang.Selanjutnya dilakukan uji validitas dan reabilitas. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji asumsi klasik, uji hipotesis, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa:(1) secara parsial variabel Kompetensimempengaruhi Kinerja Pegawaipada Bappeda Kota Tanjungbalai; (2) secara parsial variabel Disiplinmempengaruhi Kinerja Pegawai pada Bappeda Kota Tanjungbalai; (3) secara parsial variabel Loyalitas KerjamempengaruhiKinerja Pegawai pada Bappeda Kota Tanjungbalai; (4) secara simultan terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara variabel Kompetensi, Disiplin dan Loyalitas Kerjaterhadap Kinerja Pegawai pada Bappeda Kota Tanjungbalai.

Abstract

Economic development basically aims to improve people’s welfare. Economic development cannot be separated from economic growth due to economic development and also in economic growth can facilitate a process of economic development. However, with the high growth of a country’s economy does not mean all its regions have the same growth rate due to the limitation and differences in terms of the potential of natural resources, human resources and the other factors that impact on the emergence of disparity. Disparity is a problem that until now cannot be eliminated. Pematang Siantar city has a low level of disparity in comparison with other cities located in North Sumatera. This study aims to estimate how big the regional disparity in the Pematang Siantar and to determine the effect of per capita GDP on disparities in the Pematang Siantar within the period of 2011-2015. This research uses GDP data and also population in North Sumatera in 2011-2015 obtained from Central Bureau of Statistics of North Sumatera. The method of analysis used in this study is he Williamson Index using PDRB per capita as the baseline data. Based on the results of the study, PDRB per capita Pematang Siantar has a negative effect against disparity  in  Pematang Siantar  in  terms  of  percentage  increase  per  capita  GRDP  per  capita. Pematang Siantar with an average disparity during the year 2011-2015 amounted to 0.030 with low disparity criteria during the study period 2011-2015.

Abstract

The problem that occured in the company is concerned about the quality of the properties built. Most of the houses built does not meet the prescribed standards , so that it led to the low property purchasing decisions  by prospective customers. Another problem that arises is the lack of advertising done. Method of data collection was conducted by questionnaire. The method of analysis used is multiple regression. The population were all consumers of  PT. Graha Konstruksi Sejati amounting to 150 people . The samples in this study were chosen using formula of Slovin with error rate of 5 %. The total sample were 109 consumers and the sampling method used was simple random sampling. The results of research as shown in the hypothesis indicate that the quality products and advertisiment simultaneously and partially have significant effect on consumer purchase decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of directive leadership, human resource improvement and The Minister of Transportation Regulation Number 78 Year 2017 on employee motivation at Kualanamu International Airport Line Maintenance of PT. Batam Teknik. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 72 employees of Kualanamu International Airport Line Maintenance of PT. Batam Teknik. Data analysis in this study used SPSS version 22. The sampling technique used is the census method and data testing techniques used in this study include validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test and multiple linear regression analysis used to test and prove the research hypothesis. The results of the analysis show that directive leadership, increased human resources and The Minister of Transportation Regulation Number 78 Year 2017 have a positive and significant effect on employee work motivation simultaneously. This result can be seen from the calculated value of 31,587 with a significance value of 0.000 smaller than the significance limit of 0.050. The influence of directive leadership, increased human resources The Minister of Transportation Regulation Number 78 Year 2017 on employee motivation of 56.4% while the remaining 43.6% is explained by other factors outside of this study. Directive leadership, improvement of human resources and The Minister of Transportation Regulation Number 78 Year 2017 each partially affects employee motivation. This result can be seen from the calculated value of the directive leadership variable of 2.363with a significance value of 0.021 less than 0.050, and the calculated value of the human resource improvement variable of 2,089with a significance value of 0.040 less than 0.050 and the calculated value of the variable of The Minister of Transportation Regulation Number 78 Year 2017 is 2,012with a significance value of 0.048 less than 0.050.

Abstract

The problems of this research is how much influence   dicipline to policy performance. How much influence   competency  to policy performance. Abstract

This study aims to determine how the conditions or job attitude of the employees of Avicena Bireuen Hospital. This is based on the dilemma of information between job satisfaction and the desire to leave work among the hospital employees. This study uses a survey approach where data is obtained by distributing structured questions with available answer choices. In addition, questionnaires were distributed to 40 respondents as research samples. Data were analyzed using tabulations, scorring and percentages. The results show that work facilities are in good condition, the company consistently gives the rights of its employees on time. In working relationships in the company there is warmth that occurs between co-workers, harmoniously. Before working, prospective workers were also given training according to their respective fields of work. In terms of ideas and suggestions, all company employees respond each others proportional appreciation. Hence, the company's payroll system can be said according to the duties and a position of its employees, even the company also provides benefits beyond the basic salary. Coordination between parts or sections is also well connected so that good work relationships are built between employees.

Abstract

This study examines the framework of the basic research model for Self-Congruity formed based on the dimensions of Actual-Self Congruity, Ideal-Self Congruity, Social-Self Congruity, Ideal-Social Self Congruity, Avoidance Similarty and Consumption Status. The framework of the research model refers to self-theoy and social identity theory because this research model was studied to see how much influence self-congruity has on hedonistic users and utilitarian users.

Abstract

The problems in this research are: How is the influence of work ethic, work discipline, work facilities and employee competence partially and concurrently on the employee development in the Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Medan Timur? Research objectives: To determine the effect of work ethic, work discipline, work facilities and employee competence partially and simultaneously on the employee development in the Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Medan Timur. The hypothesis proposed is: There is a significant effect of work ethic, work discipline, work facilities and employee competence partially and jointly on the employee development in the Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Medan Timur. The study was conducted at the Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Medan Timur Jalan Sukamulia Nomor 17A, Kota Medan, Provinsi Sumatera Utara, kode pos 20152, with a population of 98 people, and a study sample of 52 people. The data resources used primary data that obtained by distributing questionnaires, interviews, and documentation, which tested by IBM Statistics 24 for Windows. Based on the analysis results obtained work ethic has a not effect on the employee development of the Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Medan Timur, this is supported by the results of t count analysis t-table (1,251 2,011) at n = 52 at 95% significance level. Work discipline has a positif and significant effect on the employee development of the Primary Tax Service Office of Medan Timur, this is supported by an analysis of t count t-table (2,883 2,011) at n = 52 at 95% significance level. Work facilities has a not effect on the employee development of the Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Medan Timur, this is supported by an analysis of t count -table (1,361 2,011) at n = 52 with a significant level of 95%. Employee competence has a effect on the employee development of the Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Medan Timur, this is supported by an analysis of t count -table (3,629 2,011) at n = 52 with a significant level of 95%. Value of F-count F table (21,023 2,57) This states that together (multiple) there are positive and significant effects of work ethic, work discipline and work facilities on the employee development of employees of the Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Medan Timur . Thus the hypothesis proposed is accepted by the truthÂ
