Abstract

Background One of the health problems that still exist in Indonesia is the death of children under five years of age (toddlers). malnutrition status is still be the big cause. The condition of providing nutrition to children in Indonesia is very bad compared to the nutrition of children in the world. Therefore, this is a very important to children get good and balanced nutritional intake to support the child's growth in the future and permanently and at high risk, namely stunting. The purpose of this community service is to provide counseling on nutrition fulfillment in preventing stunting in toddlers. The method of implementing community service is directly using counseling methods, and physical examination of toddlers at posyandu in Rawang Itek Village, Panton Labu District, North Aceh Regency. The results of counseling and physical examinations at the posyandu indicated that the nutrition of toddlers in Rawang Itek village was in a good category, only mothers who had toddlers were still not doing frequent and routine health checks up for toddlers by bringing their children to the posyandu. Conclusion of community service it can be concluded that the role of the mother is very important in the development of toddlers. Toddlers must be routinely brought to the posyandu and carry out physical examinations and checks for nutritional status.

Abstract

Background : Bullying behavior is a crime committed by children, so this behavior is considered abnormal, because it will have a negative impact on the victim. Purpose : Community service activities in the form of group assistance aimed at reducing bullying behavior in students of SDN 1 Ketindan Lawang. Methods : The method offered for partner problems is activities in the form of counseling about bullying and group assistance to students who have a tendency to bullying behavior. The method of implementing community service is in the form of counseling and group mentoring methods consisting of 4 sessions. Result : The result of this community service activity is that partner groups can understand and identify bullying and partner groups can reduce bullying tendencies. Conclusion :Bullying tendencies can be prevented by providing an understanding and educational approach in the form of conditioning good behavior as early as possible for students.

Abstract

Latar belakang Peran perawat sangat signifikan dalam pencegahan penyakit ulkus diabetikum, melalui edukasi tentang bagaimana melakukan pemeriksaan kaki dan kegiatan perlindungan kaki, memberikan pelayanan kesehatan dan skrining pasien dengan risiko tinggi. Tindakan pencegahan ulkus diabetikum dapat diberikan kepada pasien DM melalui konseling kedepannya dari penatalaksanaan awal DM. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pencegahan luka kaki pada penderita diabetes militus. Metode Pelaksanaan dengan cara melakukan penyuluhan tentang pencegahan luka kaki diabetikum pada penderita diabetes mellitus. Kegiatan ini dilakukan pada tanggal 7 Maret 2023di desa Meunasah Panton adapun peserta yang hadir adalah masyarakat yang memiliki penyakit diabetes mellitus berjumlah 37 orang. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan tahapan (1) melakukan pendataan peserta (2) menjelaskan kepada peserta tentang pentingnya mencegah luka kaki yang disebabkan oleh peningkatan kadar gula darah pada pasien Diabetes militus. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan didapatkan nilai rata-rata Pre tes peserta pengabdian masyarakat ? 40 dengan kategori kurang. Setelah dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan/penyuluhan kepada peserta didapatkan nilai Post tes peserta rata-rata ? 75 dengan kategori baik. Diharapkan kepada peserta setelah penyuluhan ini dilaksanakan masyarakat mampu menerapkan pengetahuan tentang pencegahan luka kaki diabetikum.

Abstract

Background : Stunting is a problem because it can cause morbidity, death, slow down the process of motor development and hinder the mental growth process of sufferers. Stunting not only interferes with physical growth but also in other growth such as mental, cognitive and intellectual children. The purpose of this community service is to conduct socialization and counseling in an effort to prevent stunting in the Betungan Health Center work area, Bengkulu City. The implementation method is by counseling about stunting in children. This Community Service activity was carried out at the Betungan Bengkulu Health Center. The time for implementation is in November 2022. The participants in this community service activity are mothers who have toddlers at the Bentungan Health Center in Bengkulu City with a total of 20 people. Activities are carried out in stages (1) providing an explanation of the material to be provided and the purpose of the activity; (2) provide knowledge about child stunting and its prevention. The results of this activity show that there is an increase in public understanding of what stunting is, the causes of stunting, the dangers of stunting for the short and long term as well as growing awareness in overcoming the effects of stunting so as to minimize the occurrence of stunting in children. Abstract

Background: Noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) are the leading cause of death, accounting for 73% of all deaths globally. It is expected that the increase in NCD fatalities will continue as a result of detrimental changes in human and environmental behavior. Hypertension is a highly prevalent NCD condition. One thing that may be done to prevent NCDs is to provide relevant information about disease prevention and control. CERDIK can be used to provide information in the form of health education. Media is required for health education so that information can be delivered and accepted well by participants. Purpose:  The purpose of this community service is to increase the knowledge of the elderly using leaflets on preventing hypertension with CERDIK. Methods: This community service was carried out by providing health education in the Sukorame Region, Bantul, on October 26, 2022. The target community members who attended were old adults and the elderly, totaling 52 people. Providing health education is carried out using the lecture method with the help of PowerPoint slides and media leaflets about preventing hypertension with CERDIK. Results: The average knowledge of the target community about preventing hypertension after being given health education was 86.5%; this was included in the category of good knowledge (76%–100%). Conclusion: By increasing the knowledge of the elderly about hypertension prevention using the CERDIK method, it is hoped that it can empower the elderly to be able to detect and control the hypertension they experience early.
