Abstract

Ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages by 2030 is the third Target of the SDGs. The target includes efforts to reduce the incidence of deaths from non-communicable diseases including breast cancer. The incidence of breast cancer increases with age, but we can prevent this cancer and if it is detected early, we will get better treatment. Early detection through BSE which is carried out starting at the age of adolescence with increased vigilance and is believed to reduce the number of deaths due to breast cancer. The motivation of young women in doing BSE is different, through peer groups it is expected that there will be changes in health behavior in young women. The expected behavior is that young women are able to carry out early detection of breast cancer through breast self-examination. The general purpose of this study was to determine the role of peer groups in conducting early detection through breast self-examination (BSE) as an effort to prevent breast cancer. This research is a quasi experimental research with pre test and post test with control group design. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. Collecting data using a questionnaire through a google form and a checklist. The tools used to train peer groups are training modules. The data processing steps are editing, coding, and data entry. Analysis using the Paired Sample T-test with a significance result of 0.000 < (α) 0.05. This shows that there is a significant difference between the average scores before and after being given health education about breast cancer. So it can be concluded that there is a significant increase in respondents' BSE skills after receiving peer education using video media and teaching aids. the influence of peer education on the practice skills of BSE in adolescent girls. Peer youth educators are considered to have more influence on BSE abilities than teachers. Active learning methods provided by peer educators can improve the ability of adolescent self-awareness.

The results of the ploso market statistical test, p-value of 0.085, are more than 0.05, which means that there is no relationship between market traders' knowledge and COVID-19 prevention behavior. Abstract

A convulsion is a complaint that often makes a child come to the Accident and Emergency Department. Most febrile convulsion occurs due to fever. The treatment by nurses at the during of fever is to provide anti-pyretic’s drug according to the physician’s instructions and there is no non-pharmacological action in terms of lowering body temperature such as giving a warm compress (Tepid Sponge Bath). The purpose of this study is to know the effectiveness of Tepid Sponge Bath to decrease body temperature in children’s febrile convulsion in the Adenium’s room at RSUD Lawang. Design of the research used Quasi Experimental with the design type of Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The number of samples obtained as many as 26 respondents. The sample used Accidental Sampling Method. Measuring instrument for measuring body temperature in treatment group and control group used Digital Thermometer for forehead with 98% accuracy level. The result of statistical analysis of Independent Sample t-test showed no difference of body temperature at minute 30.60 and 90 after TSB, but at minute 45 and 120 there was significant difference (p value = 0,000 <0,05). The recommendation of this study is children who have fever to get Tepid Sponge Bath action because it can reduce the risk of febrile convulsion.

Abstract

Hypertension is a common disease especially among the elderly, which is an abnormal increase in blood pressure in the arteries continuously with systole more than 140 mmHg and diastole more than 90 mmHg. Hypertension and aging if not treated immediately and left for long time can have an impact on kidney function, kidney failure, coronary heart disease and stroke. Currently the morbidity rate of hypertension in elderly still high, there are many factors that influence, especially medication adherence factor. A study determine factors associated with adherence to hypertension treatment in elderly. This study uses literature review and database design to search for literature reviews using keywords ((((Hypertension) and Aged) or elderly) AND Medication Compliance) or adherence, medication) and factors). 5 articles were selected using JBI Critical Appraisal tools. Articles were taken from reputable and accredited database, namely 4 articles from PubMed database, while an article was accredited from Google Schoolar. The selection was taken by paying attention to PEOS, then analyzed one by one. The results factors related are include age, gender, education level, physical status (weakness) and mental (cognitive function). There are two factors that are strongly related: namely family support and social support. Compliance with hypertension treatment in elderly needs to be improved, so elderly need social support and family support to undergo hypertension treatment compliance along with changes associated with aging process.
