Abstract

This research is motivated by the provisions of the DSN-MUI Fatwa Guideline Number 21/DSN-MUI/IV/2001, which states that a mudharabah contract can be converted into a tabarru contract, but a tabarru contract cannot be converted into a mudharabah contract. The purpose of this study was to determine the mudharabah contract in Pru Taqwa Prudential Syari’ah Ciamis insurance. This study also aims to determine the tabarru’ contract on Pru Taqwa Prudential Syari’ah Ciamis insurance, as well as to determine the implementation of the mudharabah and tabarru’ contracts on Pru Taqwa Prudential Syari’ah Ciamis insurance. The type of research used is field qualitative with descriptive analysis method. This study uses primary and secondary data sources. The results show (1) the mudharabah contract at Pru Taqwa Prudential Syari’ah Ciamis, namely where the insurance participant/insured is domiciled as shahibul maal and the Pru Taqwa Prudential Syari’ah company is the mudharib/manager. Where participants leave contributions (premium payments) to companies which will then be managed in the form of investments in halal companies that have been approved by the Indonesian Ulema Council. (2) The tabarru’ contract at Pru Taqwa Prudential Syari’ah Ciamis is a contract that changes the contract where the participant becomes a risk bearer other than the company. The company is only a manager/operator. The manager is not entitled to use the tabarru’ funds if there is no power of attorney from the insurance participant to avoid maisyir, gharar and usury. (3) The implementation of the mudharabah and tabarru’ contracts on Pru Taqwa Prudential Syari’ah Ciamis is in accordance with existing provisions, namely based on the DSN-MUI Fatwa Number 21/DSN-MUI/IV/2001 concerning General Guidelines for Sharia Insurance, namely the mudharabah contract which can be converted into a tabarru’ contract and a tabarru’ contract cannot be converted into a mudharabah contract.

This research was conducted at PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia which is the first syariah bank that stands in Indonesia which is purely syari'ah. This research is quantitative research, the method used in this research is associative research (relationship) supported by document analysis approach, where the object of research is PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia, the sample used is monthly financial statements of PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia period 2011 -2013. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from financial reports published by BI, OJK and through the official website of PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia. Data analysis method used is descriptive analysis and panel data regression model with significance level 5% or 0,05, then to process data using application Eviews 7. The result of the analysis shows that partial rate of BI Rate and Profit Sharing (TBH) has positive and significant effect to Mudharabah Financing Income, proved by probability value of BI Rate 0,0024 <0,05, and probability value of profit sharing rate 0, 0000 <0.05. Together, the BI Rate and Profit Sharing Ratios have a significant effect on Mudharabah Financing Income, this is evidenced by the value of the probability F statistic 0.000 which is less than 0.05. The variables of the BI Rate and the Profit Sharing Rate have contributed to explain Mudharabah Financing Revenue of 83.3%, while the remaining 16.7% (100% - 83.3%) is explained by other variables not examined or excluded in this research model , so it can be concluded that the BI Rate and profit sharing rate have a positive and significant impact on mudharabah financing income either individually or jointly.

Abstract

The Muslims have such a strong and fundamental work ethic because it boils down to faith, deals directly with God's power, and is a matter of life and death. A Muslim in every work must be earnest and energetic. In other words, it must be with a high work ethic so that the resulting performance would be more leverage because a Muslim is a more worker (smart-worker). This also applies in an organization or company such as Rabbani which is a company with an activity program that applies Islamic values. This research uses correlational research method, using quantitative approach. Data collection in this study used questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis, assumption test using normality test, and hypothesis test by using simple linear regression analysis, and t test. Based on the results of this study can be seen that: 1) Islamic work ethic in Rabbani Group Tasikmalaya said good. This is evidenced by the average value of Islamic ethos work variables of 47.77; 2) employee performance in Rabbani Group Tasikmalaya is enough. This is evidenced by the average value of employee performance variables of 30.10; 3) the influence between variables based on the correlation coefficient of 0.373 means that the value belongs to the low level of relationship, that the work ethic of Islami and employee performance have correlation with the low level of relationship. While to see whether or not the influence of this research is done with t test, which shows that t arithmetic of 2.127 with a significance value of 0.042 so that the significance value of 0.042 <0.05 means there is a significant influence between Islamic work ethic variables on employee performance on Rabbani Group Tasikmalaya. Influence is obtained by 13.9% which means employee performance variables influenced by Islamic work ethic variables, while 86.1% influenced by other variables.

Abstract

As an institution engaged in the financial sector, Islamic banks expect benefits from the activities that have been carried out. This profit is generated through income generated from the products that are distributed. The performance of banks in carrying out their activities is seen from how much financing is distributed because the source of income for Islamic banks is from financing distribution. The volume of financing provided by Islamic banking needs to show an increase in order to create healthy and efficient financial institutions. Healthy financial institutions are able to demonstrate the ability to increase profits through increased profitability. The higher the profitability of a bank, the better profits or profits will be generated by the bank. Return on Assets (ROA) is one of the financial ratios in banking which has the best role to reflect the level of profitability of the bank. This research method uses quantitative descriptive method where quantitative descriptive method is a method in examining the status of a human group, an object, a set of conditions, a system of thought, or even a group of events in the present which aims to make a description. This research uses simple regression analysis which includes partial test (t test), and coefficient of determination test (R2). From the partial test (t test) obtained t count of 10.027 > from the value of t table of 2.228139. It is known that the p-value < (0.000 < 0.05) indicates that the multi-finance variable has a significant effect on Return On Assets (ROA). Coefficient of Determination Test (R2) regression model, the adjusted R2 value is 0.900, which means that the dependent variable can be explained by the independent variable by 90%, while the remaining 10% is explained by other variables not included in the regression model. The results of the partial test (t-test) and the coefficient of determination (R2) show that murabahah financing has a significant effect on the Return on Assets (ROA) profitability ratio at BRI Syariah KCP Ciamis Bank for the 2018-2020 period.
