Abstract

One of the problems that often encountered in the environment of students in the Undergraduate Study Program is the selection of elective courses. Problems that arise ranging from students having confusion in the selection process to unstructured selection due to lack of guidelines. This can impact students to feel wrong in choosing and cause these courses to be unable to support the learning process. The existence of a class of courses that classify each subject based on the discipline of knowledge can be used to determine student criteria for the available class of courses. Student courses grades that have been taken and the student's interests will be grouped based on the class of courses. Later the value of these courses and student interests will be calculated using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) Method. The result will be directed to what elective courses are in the class of courses recommendation. A Decision Support System (DSS) was produced which aims to be a tool for students in selecting elective courses based on the results of previously calculated class of courses recommendations. With the selection based on a proven method, the selection becomes more structured.

Abstract

The development of e-business has led to the emergence of a new business model, namely Financial Technology, which helps the public to be able to obtain financial transaction services quickly and easily. However, not many companies know how to design the right business model, especially fintech. Therefore, this research was conducted to design a financial technology business model using a business model canvas based on the consumption values of a case study of OVO application users in the city of Surabaya. The Business Model Canvas has 9 elements to be used, namely Customer Segments, Value Propositions, Channels, Customer Relationships, Revenue Streams, Key Resources, Key Activities, Key Partnerships and Cost Structure, while the Consumption Value has 5 elements to be used, namely Functional Value, Social Values, Emotional Values, Epistemic Values, and Conditional Values. In this study, OVO is used as an object of research because it is one of the most successful fintechs in Indonesia. The sample in this study used Simple Random Sampling with a sample size of 100 respondents and the technique for analysing the data used SEM (Structural Equation Modelling). The results showed that Functional Value significant all nine elements in BMC, while Social Value significant Channels, Emotional Value significant Key Resources and Key Activities, Epistemic Value significant Channels and Customer Relationships, Conditional Value significant Customer Segments, Value Propositions, Key Resources and Key Partnerships.

Abstract

Currently, the competition in the catering industry is very competitive. This is indicated by the increasing number of catering industries. Catering Bu Sri is a home catering business that serves orders for boxed rice and tumpeng for various events. Catering Bu Sri provides a varied food menu, including 5 kinds of rice, 20 main side dishes, and 13 side dishes. The problem that is often faced by customers and Catering Bu Sri is, customers are confused about choosing food menu to order into one menu package, the catering staff must choose the food menu according to customer criteria, and the time needed to select or recommend a food package according to the criteria is quite long, is about 15-30 minutes. The solution based on these problems is by making a decision support system for selecting food packages using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The process carried out is by filtering the data based on the criteria for the number of menus and the level of vegetarianism, then combined to become a food package. Combination results will be filtered based on 75% to 100% of the customer's budget. Analytical Hierarchy Process method will be used to determine the priority weights for each criterion, and Simple Additive Weighting method will be used to determine global priority by multiplying the value of all alternatives on all criteria by the average value of the criteria. Based on the test, the system that has been created can help customers and the catering party in selecting or recommending food packages according to the criteria and speeding up the time for selecting food packages by 60 to 90 times from the previous process.

Abstract

Auto2000 Kenjeran Surabaya is one of the authorized dealers that operate as a sales, repair, maintenance, and supplier service network for Toyota parts. Location Kenjeran Auto2000 is located on Jalan Kenjeran No.516, Surabaya City, East Java. The process of buying a car on Auto2000 Kenjeran is carried out when the customer comes to the Kenjeran Auto2000 dealer or online via social media. When making the purchase process, sometimes customers are confused about choosing a car due to a lack of information about the car, besides that there are also new salesmen who find it difficult to know what the customer wants, making the service process that initially takes ± 30 minutes to offer and provide information about the car can be ± 45 minutes due to finding out what car the customer wants.Based on the existing problems, a solution is proposed for the Auto2000 Kenjeran in the form of a car selection decision support system using the fuzzy analytical hierarchy process method that can help customers find a car, because there is a car finder feature that can help customers find a car according to customer preferences by simply selecting and give a score for each criterion and the desired alternative, and the car results will come out immediately. In addition, there are also vehicles and recommendation car features that provide information about cars to customers.Based on the test results, there are several features in the application that can provide information about cars, make car reservations, and can search for cars according to the criteria and alternatives that have been provided, besides that the application can print car order data reports. So it can be concluded that the application is in accordance with the functions and needs of the user.

Abstract

As time goes by, number of vehicles are greatly increase. The vehicle users will be in a difficult situation to find assistance with the location of the nearest repair shop if something happened to their vehicle. Human are social creatures. This concept is the basis for the development of the crowdsourcing concept. The combination of the internet and the crowdsourcing concept can be a powerful resource in getting a job done. Over time, vehicle users become lazy about maintaining vehicle performance. They assume that the vehicle is still fit for use. This assumption is will causes more damage to the vehicle. This condition has a business opportunity by seeing the increase in the number of vehicle and the demand for routine vehicle service. Based on these problems, a start-up using the crowdsourcing concept is proposed which helps the community in providing and seeking assistance as well as the location of the nearest workshop as well as helping the nearest workshop to get business opportunities. Based on the results of testing the application can bridge the fulfillment of the needs of service users and service providers, so it can be concluded that the application is functioning properly.

Abstract

kemahasiswaan.dinamika.ac.id is a website from the student affairs section of the Dynamics University which contains important information for students. According to information from the head of student affairs, the website has never been evaluated for usability and redesign of the appearance of the website based on user needs. To determine user needs, the author has conducted a website usability evaluation questionnaire to determine the level of usability and user pain. Based on the problems obtained, an analysis and design of the user interface / user experience (UI / UX) has been carried out on the Undika student website using the google design sprint method. From the test results, it was obtained the results of statements from respondents stating that the UI / UX design was attractive, it was easy to find out the existence on the website, and the use of colors that was comfortable to use. With these results, it can answer problems based on user's pain. Overall, the implementation of the google design sprint method has resulted in a UI / UX design that suits user needs and answers crucial questions based on the problems obtained from the usability evaluation with the Website usability evaluation.

Abstract

The AEMA Glasses store is a shop that sells various accessories that was founded in 2010, the shop provides various driving accessories such as glasses, cloth slayer, mask buff, gloves, hats, masks and belts. Currently the AEMA Glasses shop is only a shop, so the buying and selling process only occurs in that shop. This is a drawback for this store because customers who want to order from outside the area cannot be served quickly and customers also cannot see the catalog available in the store. In addition, shop employees also experience difficulties in recording sales and calculating shop turnover because this AEMA shop still uses books and a calculator in the transaction process, which causes frequent differences in the number of goods calculations.Based on the existing problems, a web-based UI / UX design solution was found with the Lean UX method which consists of several stages, including Declare Assumption, Create MVP, Run an Experiment, and Feedback and Research. By including 30 samples, namely AEMA Glasses shop customers and 7 samples, namely AEMA Glasses store employees, so a total of 37 samples.Based on the results of the analysis and observations that have been made, a prototype design was made using the Lean UX method which was then tested on AEMA Glasses customers and AEMA Glasses employees which resulted in the success rate of prototype testing for customers reaching 72% and the success rate of prototype testing for admins reaching 86%.

Abstract

In developing competent teachers, a transparent performance appraisal program is needed for the professional and career development of teachers that can improve the quality of their performance on an ongoing basis. The current condition in the process of evaluating teacher performance at Ketabang I Surabaya Elementary School from the results of interviews with the teacher as a resource is that the assessment process does not have fixed parameters and criteria so the performance appraisal process varies each year. Currently the teacher cannot see in realtime the performance appraisal process that is running and the teacher cannot know the ranking of teacher performance results for the current period or the previous period. Based on the above problems, a solution that can help the performance appraisal process is to build a website-based teacher performance appraisal application according to the parameters or criteria using an assessment process based on the Directorate General of National Education Ministry of Education and Culture Teacher Performance Assessment (PKG) In knowing the ranking of teacher assessment results, the TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity o Ideal Solution) method is used, which is one of the Decision Making System (DSS) methods. With this Website-Based Teacher Performance Appraisal Application Using the Topsis Method, teachers can see the ranking directly on the dashboard for each assessment period carried out to maximize performance in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

SMAN 1 Sidoarjo which is one of the favourite schools in the district. When implementing online learning, SMAN 1 Sidoarjo has not used an e-learning platform so it uses many existing platforms such as google classrooms, so students and teachers need to open many platforms, and the UI design e-learning on platforms does not motivate students, causing bored. Because the design user interface in e-learning is an important element for creating virtual-based learning so it is necessary to have a design analysis before building e-learning. The TCSD method is used for the design analysis stage, so that the results are in prototype accordance with the process task and the display results are in accordance with the results of the user persona. Usability heuristic is used to test whether the results prototype are running according to the task with a display that is acceptable to the user. The prototype has been compiled and evaluated, using the evaluation heuristic the SR value for each aspect is obtained with an average of 0.822 rounded to 1, so that the result is in the category cosmetic which means there is a problem but no improvement is needed unless there is still time for processing.

Abstract

Museum Teknoform is one of the many technology-themed museums owned by Dinamika University. There have some problem at the Museum Teknoform that have been described. First, collection registration using manual method with Microsoft Excel, so the data cannot be accessed simultaneously because there is no centralized database and it cause storage errors when access the data. Second, the inventory of collections by the Museum Teknoform has not yet been carried out, as a result of incomplete information, such as no numbering or coding of item and no information describing the items, officers do not know for sure about the quantity and condition of the item. This is very influential in making collentions reports. Where complete information is needed to make it easier to compile reports on the development of collection owned by the Museum Teknoform. Third, there are many collections in the Museum Teknoform that do not have a catalog, which prevents the Museum Teknoform from accessing information about the collection quickly and precisely. Based on the explanation abov, Museum Teknoform needs a system that can help Museum Teknoform be able to solve the problems found in the company by designing and building a registration and inventory application of Museum Teknoform collection.
