Abstract

The Internet has transformed the business information systems. Transformation that makes the system connected only in the internal network, becoming a system which can be accessed by the public. Transformation moving more faster, in line with popularity of mobile devices, such as mobile phones and PDAs. Besides the rapid development of hardware, the development of mobile applications are also increasingly supportive. Mobile applications experience a significant acceleration, when Sun Microsystems released the Java mobile edition. Now Java mobile edition became one of the standard features in mobile devices. These revolutionary developments, triggering proliferation of mobile business solutions. This solution enables mobile elements communicate with back-end systems in every place and time. Java has provided a framework that bridges between the back-end systems with mobile clients. So the choice of Java is one solution that should frame the development of use. Mobile-based applications are expected to provide more convenient facilities in exchanging information. Abstract

Queuing is a less pleasant for many people, especially if the queue is in progress does not irregular. To overcome this things, then it needs a system that helps to be organized and more fun. At some companies, this is already implemented by conducting a computerized queuing system. Thus, the person will get a queue number and wait to be called, to be served by the customer service. Biskitz CMS is a content management system that can be embedded for the purposes of systems that are customizeable and this time biskitz CMS will be implemented to be able to perform the integration with the queue system that will be applied to the Directorate of Finance Bureau of the University of Budi Luhur.Keywords: content management system, queueing systems, biskitz

Abstract

This paper will describe about the development of email client application on mobile devices.The application will be developed using J2ME (Java 2 Micro Edition), while the GPRS service will be used as a means to access internet services via mobile phones. Reason of the development this application is because the email is one of facilities that are often used because it provides an easy and quick way of sending an information. By using a mobile mail client, people can access email easily and quickly. This application is expected to meet the information needs of the users email service without the need for a long time and much cost and can be accessed anywhere, do not have to search for the availability of a PC or portable computer again.Keyword : E-mail, Client, J2ME, GPRS

Abstract

88 is a tutoring agency that is engaged in formal education. The process of academic administration at their agency is now done manually. Starting from the candidate registration process of students who will enter, then follow the Academic Potential Test and select the learning program, untill students get a fixed schedule based on program choice, including any data selection process and its input. So that possible errors in data processing input can occur. Therefore the use of information technology will be very helpful at the Institute Tutoring GAMA’88 Ciputat, especially in academic administration.Object Oriented methodology is more flexible, ease in changing the program, and is used extensively in large-scale software engineering. Furthermore, supporters of Object Oriented Programming claim that OOP is easier to learn for beginners than the previous approach, and the OOP approach is more easily developed and maintained. The use of information technology to be built, especially the Application System Academic Administration with Object Oriented Methodology will assist in tackling the problems facing the Institute Tutoring GAMA’88 Ciputat. So that will minimize the possibility of errors in data processing input and both students and tutors. Which in the end, the performance of Gama's 88 administrative staff will be more rapid, precise, and accurate so as to make a better efficiency Applications with Object Oriented methodology that will be implemented using Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and database Microsoft Access 2003.Keyword : Gama 88, academic administration, Object Oriented

Abstract

FTI-UBL developed as a faculty-based learning by studying both the market and ICT in the world. The problem that arises is it necessary FTI-UBL become a learning organization and building a learning organization criteria in its application, so that standards can be built, if the learning organization is formed in the FTI-UBL. As individual faculty and staff, then they should be encourage to do what is in demand now is learning and learning will occur through practice, such as inclusion as a member of the ICT community or discussion with experts abroad through the internet. Result of discussion and learning should be shared with other lecturers. So it came to pass in the FTI-UBL a mechanism called knowledge sharing. All of that must also be documented, so that in case of regeneration of the lecturer or FTI-UBL structural changes can be tracked what happens in the FTI-UBL, so that the knowledge of every lecturer or experts on the FTI may be knowledge of the FTI-UBL as an institution. Knowledge simultaneously a high sophistication (both tacit and explicit) and spread on the hands and minds of many people who are not easily produced or captured from within the institution. Abstract

The development of increasingly advanced technology to bring the impact of changes in every part of life. For example, at present many high-rise buildings make use of technological advances in various fields, such as for security from theft and robbery, safety from fire hazards and various other purposes. In this research, designed a system that can be used to control the use of various devices and electronic equipment connected to electricity in a building, such as lights, fans and other equipment to be monitored or controlled in its use. But the authors only specialize in monitoring and controlling the problem because the lights for other electronic equipment can also be simulated by the lamp, if the light is on means the tool is active and if the lights go out such a device is not active. Language of controlling light by using the printer port was already there before, namely by using low-level language programs such as Assembler or a high-level language Pascal, and also limited to only be able to control 8 lights. In the present study was developed by the circuit using a comparator (comparator) 4 bits, then the number of floors of the building limited to a maximum 15 floors, this number is obtained from the calculation of binary numbers is 24 (2 rank of 4 = 16) after deducting 1 due to address 0000 / $ 0 is used as initialization. By using the parallel port data, amounting to 8 bits can be used to control 15 floors with each floor there are 8 dots / lights so the total points that can be controlled is 120 points / lights.Keywords: interface, controlling light, paralel ports

Abstract

Some institutions in Indonesia has banned the use of social networking systems at the office either by enacting legislation or blocking network access. Social networking system has encouraged the use of technology far beyond office systems have been developed. Utilization of electronic communications concepts such as knowledge exchange, groupware, collaboration and so forth have been used effectively and efficiently on systems of social networks in the form of group communication facilities of friends, ideas and developing ideas together. Based on the above, companies need to adapt and develop strategies that take into accountthe risks and benefits of the use of social media sites in office hours. Abstract

Rawat Jalan adalah pelayanan yang diberikan kepada pasien sebagai pertolongan pertama, pasien diberikan terapi oleh dokter dan pasien istirahat di rumah. Saat berobat, Pasien melakukan registrasi terlebih dahulu baru berobat dan akan dibuatkan kartu status dan kartu berobat. Kartu status disimpan dalam arsip khusus. Pasien diwajibkan membayar registrasi, tindakan, dan obat-obatan. Semakin baiknya pelayanan yang diberikan, maka kepercayaan pasien semakin meningkat, hal ini di tandai dengan banyaknya pasien yang berobat. Sejalan dengan meningkatnya kepercayaan pasien terhadap pelayanan, maka staf administrasi bekerja ekstra untuk memberikan pelayanan terbaik. Hal ini menyebabkan pasien merasa tidak nyaman saat berobat, karena pasien harus menunggu lama saat melakukan registrasi dan melakukan pembayaran. Jadi perlu di bangung sebuah sistem yang dapat mempermudah saat pasien melakukan registrasi dan pembayaran. Disain model sistem informasi menggunakan Metodologi Object Oriented dengan diagram Use Case dan Class. Selain itu kami melakukan analisis kelayakan dan analisis kebutuhan data. User interface analisis juga dilakukan supaya user mudah berinteraksi dengan sistem. Saat implementasi, aplikasi di tes oleh staf administrasi dan kepala klinik untuk memastikan sistem dapat berjalan baik dan Klinik Medika ABC dapat memberikan pelayanannya dengan baik.Keyword : Object Oriented, Use Case Diagram, Class Diagram, Rawat jalan
