Abstract

The growth of private universities has made the competition process for new students to be tighter. Private universities must make efforts to increase the interest of prospective new students to choose to continue their education at these private universities. In addition to efforts to improve the quality of education services,This research is quantitative descriptive. The study population was all members of the Karanganyar scout movement branch quartir, while the research sample was 50 students. Data collection used a questionnaire, while data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis.The results showed that most of the respondents stated that the marketing communication of the Indonusa Polytechnic was quite good (66%), most of the respondents stated that their interest in studying at the Indonusa Polytechnic was moderate (58%), and there was a significant relationship between marketing communication and interest in studying for new students. Indonusa Surakata Polytechnic. The conclusion of this research is that there is a relationship between marketing communication and interest in studying at Polytechnic Indonusa Surakarta.

Abstract

Film adalah media yang digunakan untuk menyampaikan pesan dari komunikan ke komunikator secara massal, selain itu film merupakan bagian dari komunikasi massa. Film Dancing In The Rain merupakan film yang mengangkat kisah penyandangan autisme yang hidup dengan Eyang Uti, dan memiliki kisah persahabatan yang indah. Tujuan dari analisis ini adalah untuk menganalisis struktur naratif film Dancing In The Rain terhadap representasi kemandirian penyandang autisme. Analisis ini mengunakan analisis model naratif Tzevetan Todorov yang mengungkapkan jika suatu cerita memiliki awal, tengah dan akhir. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa terdapat lima struktur narasi, yakni; Ekuilibrium , Gangguan , Pengakuan gangguan, Upaya memperbaiki kerusakan , dan  Equilbirum baru . Representasi kemandirian penyandang autisme dilihat dari gambaran dalam keseharian utama dalam melakukan aktivitas, bertindak dan melakukan sesuatu tanpa bantuan dan bantuan dari orang lain, adanya insiatif dan percaya diri terhadap ide-ide, juga digambarkan pada saat tokoh utama mengambil keputusan dan menerima segala risiko .Kata Kunci: Analisis Naratif, Representasi, Kemandirian, Autisme

Abstract

ABSTRAKVanuatu merupakan salah satu negara Kepulauan Pasifik yang secara konsisten menyampaikan isu dugaan pelanggaran HAM Papua dalam setiap kesempatannya di Sidang Umum PBB. Pada 27 September 2020, Vanuatu yang diwakili oleh Perdana Menteri Republik Vanuatu, Bob Loughman, kembali menyinggung isu kasus pelanggaran HAM masyarakat Papua dalam Sidang Umum PBB ke-75. Pernyataan Vanuatu dan jawaban dari Diplomat Indonesia, Sylvany Austin Pasaribu dalam sidang PBB ke-75 tersebut menjadi sorotan berbagai media. Salah satu media yang turut memberitakan yaitu Detik.com dan Kompas.com sebagai pionir media online dan salah satu situs berita yang paling sering diakses. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kedua media online tersebut mengemas pemberitaannya terhadap Vanuatu pasca disinggungnya isu pelanggaran HAM Papua dalam Sidang Umum PBB ke-75. Periode berita yang diteliti yakni sejak tanggal 27 September hingga 2 Oktober 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan analisis framing model Zhongdang Pan dan Gerald M Kosicky. Dalam penelitian ini, Detik.com lebih cenderung menyudutkan Vanuatu. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari segi kuantitas maupun pengemasan berita. Sedangkan Kompas.com meskipun tidak menempatkan Vanuatu dalam posisi yang menguntungkan, namun berusaha menunjukan keberimbangan dalam pemberitaan.

Abstract

President Jokowi made public communication related to Covid-19 on March 2, 2020. Government communication in this crisis has become a challenge because since that moment the public's response and assessment began. In the early stages, public communication carried out by the government was still in the perspective of Crisis Communication, various kinds of confusion of information began to emerge, the public became doubtful about the truth of the scattered data. Furthermore, the World Health Organization recommends handling Covid-19 from the perspective of Risk Communication which is considered more comprehensive and effective in building communication to the public. For this reason, this study intends to evaluate Government Public Communication in Handling Covid-19 in a Risk Communication Perspective. This study uses qualitative research methods, applies a phenomenological research design by searching for data through observation and in-depth interviews through the application of purposive sampling by determining key informants from the government, communication experts, and the community. Secondary data collection is also carried out through journals, websites, webinar presentations, YouTube, social media, and online media portals. The results showed that the transformation of Government Public Communication from Crisis Communication to Risk Communication was carried out not only because of a request from the World Health Organization as an evaluation of government-run communication but also as a form of improving the Indonesian government's communication strategy in handling covid-19 which at first it was considered not alert and fast in preventing the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. In addition, the success of Risk Communication cannot be separated from the active engagement of the community in helping the government produce and disseminate information content that is attractive, trustworthy, and accountable.

Abstract

This research was made to see and measure the existence of dynamic organizational changes characterized by the transfer of employess from one company to another or other organizations to get comfortable at wor, welfare, and by the motivation of the vision and mission that exist in employees and the presence of a crisis. There is a breakdown of the patterns, beliefs, and structures that underline the old culture. This research is quantitative, data collection techniques using a closed questionnaire, to employees at PT Askrindo (Persero) Surakarta city branch. Data analysis using simple linier analysis, the data source is processed using the SPSS statistical application. The result showed that there was a significant influence of organizational communication climate on organizational culture, so the hypothesis (Ha) can be proven. The amount of influence of the indepent variable (organizational communication climate) in influencing the dependent variable (organizational culture) is determined by the R Square value of 20.1%. This means that the influence is given by the predictor variable (organizational communication climate) on the criterion variable (organizational culture) is 20.1%, while the remaining 79.9% is influence by other variables not examined.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the communication strategy of Radio Tjandra FM Cianjur in facing media convergence. The subjects of this study consisted of 6 employees who knew the strategy and implementation of media convergence on Tjandra FM Cianjur radio, either as policymakers or policy implementers in the field. The basis of the theory used is New Media by Pierre Levy. This research uses qualitative research methods with a case study approach. Data collection activities used were interviews, observation, and documentation.The results of this study found that to adapt to current technological advances, namely the internet. (1) Tjandra FM Radio converges media by combines conventional media with internet media. That is, not only doing on air but also marketing content through social media, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, websites, and radio streaming applications. (2) Tjandra FM Radio branding audiences for promotion and image building. The strategy is carried out by not only broadcasting on air but also off-air using OB Van (On Board Van), as well as being an event organizer at an event. Keywords: Communication strategies, qualitative, media convergence.
