Abstract

The purpose of this Community Service (PkM) program is to learn about the process of making child-friendly school-based reflective module products that can improve numeracy literacy skills and self-confidence in elementary school students in Dolok Masihul District in grades IV, V, and VI. This activity is carried out by the Serdang Bedagai II team and is carried out every Monday to Wednesday. The PkM activity was held from February 2 – 26, 2022 at SDN 102058 Dolok Masihul. The target of this PkM program is students in grades IV, V and VI of SDN 102058 Dolok Masihul. The form of activities in the implementation of this service includes free tutoring activities for English, Mathematics, Indonesian and PkN subjects which are carried out at SDN 102058 Dolok Masihul. The impact of the implementation of this PkM activity is 1) Produce reflective modules based on child-friendly schools that are ideal for strengthening numeracy literacy abilities and self-confidence of Dolok Masihul District grade IV, V, and VI primary school pupils, 2) Knowing the impact of child-friendly school-based reflective modules on numeracy literacy abilities and self-confidence in Dolok Masihul District grade IV, V, and VI primary school pupils. Abstract

Water is a basic need for life, especially for humans who always need water throughout their lives. The human body is mostly made up of water. Household waste is waste that comes from kitchens, bathrooms, laundry, household industrial waste and human waste. the majority of the population in Siabu Village do not know how to manage waste and the majority of waste water disposal facilities are inadequate. Health Counseling Regarding the Importance of Household Wastewater Sewerage in Siabu Village, Salo District, which can be identified in several specific problems, namely: Is there an effect of Health Counseling Regarding the Importance of Wastewater Sewerage for Communities in Siabu Village, Salo District. However, after participating in community outreach activities, they will be able to find out the type of wastewater, where the wastewater comes from, how to manage wastewater and the impact of wastewater on health. Health education activities (counseling) about the importance of sewerage in general went smoothly. The counseling participants were representatives of residents, RT heads and health cadres, as many as 82 people. The place used for this activity is the Siabu Village Hall. This activity will be carried out using several methods, namely asking questions and answering questions to participants. . With this counseling, it is hoped that there will be sustainable activities so that it can further increase public knowledge. Keywords : wastewater ; Counseling

Abstract

Kampar Regency is one of the largest fish producers in Riau Province. As a fish-producing area, one of them is catfish. Catfish is very easy to get at a relatively cheap price, so it can be a potential in developing activities into varied and high-value products. Judging from its benefits, catfish is a type of healthy food that is low in calories, a complete source of protein, a source of vitamin B12, and contains healthy fatty acids that are good for consumption by all ages. The purpose of this activity is to assist catfish farmers in increasing fish trading. catfish produced by processing catfish into nuggets, and catfish pop. Catfish processing is expected to improve the economy of catfish farmers because so far catfish are only sold raw to collectors or direct buyers at low prices, while the price of seeds and feed is high. Packaging and marketing of processed catfish products in the hope of improving the welfare of catfish farmers.There are several obstacles faced by partners, namely (1). Procurement of feed, this is because the price of feed continues to increase, making it burdensome for farmers to buy fish feed. The high price of feed causes high production prices, while the selling power of catfish is low. at least the profits obtained by catfish farmers. (2). Capital limitations. (3). The low motivation of catfish farmers to become entrepreneurs with catfish as the main ingredient. (4). There is no diversity of processed catfish products. (5). There is no packaging and marketing of catfish. Activities that will be carried out in this PKM program include several development efforts, including: 1. Providing motivation to catfish farmers to become entrepreneurs. 2. Training or practice of making variations in catfish production, this is done considering that fresh catfish is very abundant in Kampar Regency, but its processing is still very lacking. The product variants that are added are nuggets and catfish pop. 3. Packing or product packaging. Products will be packaged with more attractive packaging. 5. Changes in marketing strategy. Catfish are usually sold by collectors or directly to traditional markets around the Kampar Regency area. Abstract

Food is one of the necessities in human life which is essential for the process of growth and development as well as the basis for maintaining health, both for children and adults. Every food that enters our body can affect metabolism and blood composition in the body. It is not uncommon to find snacks that are traded around the school containing additional substances such as preservatives and food coloring. Snacking habits in children are closely related to the economy and the level of knowledge of children and parents regarding the selection of healthy and nutritious snacks. Community Service provides health education regarding the importance of healthy and nutritious snacks which can be identified in several specific issues, the effect of health education on the importance of healthy and nutritious snacks. The importance of counseling is to increase students' knowledge about the importance of healthy and nutritious snacks for health and to encourage the implementation of a healthy snack program by establishing a canteen that only provides healthy and nutritious snacks. Abstract

Education is basically a conscious and planned effort to create a learning atmosphere and learning process so that students actively develop their potential. Technology is also a tool for the use of knowledge and science. Technology also enters various fields in human life to increase the effectiveness of a production or activity for its users. The world of education is also inseparable from the integration of technology in the context of learning effectiveness and efficiency. The use of technology as a learning medium has great benefits in making it easier for students to learn the subject matter. In order to increase the ability of SD IT Ar-Risalah Samarinda teachers in utilizing technology, there will be an introduction to learning support application training in schools. So that later they can maximize the delivery of a flow of learning information to students. The purpose of this activity is to utilize technology in classroom learning, including in creating a simple LMS (Learning Management System) that utilizes features in Google. Abstract

Adolescence is the most complex stage of life, both for adolescents themselves and their parents. During this period, children tend to take on new responsibilities and learn to be independent. This is also a good time for teenagers to be more responsible for their reproductive health. The importance of reproductive health for adolescents is because the response from the community to the need for reproductive knowledge is very low. Knowledge for teenagers must help them in living their lives to be more mature. Based on a preliminary survey conducted at the INKAM Elementary School of 10 female students who were interviewed, there are 8 students who do not know how to care for reproductive organs properly and correctly, while 2 of them know but the information is obtained from the internet. The purpose of implementing Community Service at INKAM Elementary School is to increase the knowledge of young women about reproductive health through outreach activities, and empowering accompanying teachers in providing regular education regarding the care of adolescent reproductive organs and things to watch out for. The method used is illustrative lectures and demonstrations. The result of this activity is an increase in adolescent knowledge about reproductive health and how to take care of reproductive organs. Suggestions that can be conveyed to the education sector is to make learning about reproductive devils an important subject, so that young women can keep their reproductive organs healthy and clean and they can be responsible for their reproductive organs. Abstract

Monitoring the growth and development of children is important to be done early to find out any disturbances and delays in the child's growth. Children who experience growth and development that are not optimal can cause disturbances in the development of physical organs, psychological, emotional intelligence and social intelligence in children. Efforts to improve children's health status are carried out by comprehensive and quality guidance and monitoring of child growth and development by organizing child growth and development stimulation and early intervention activities (SDIDTK). These activities are carried out in a comprehensive and coordinated manner which are held in the form of partnerships between families, communities (posyandu cadres) and professionals as well as policies according to the implementation of the SDIDTK program. In Naumbai Village, Kampar District, it is known that some cadres have never received training on child growth and development, but all posyandu cadres have received training in filling out the MCH handbook, posyandu cadres do not explain the progress and setbacks of growth and development to parents due to lack of knowledge and ability of cadres in detecting child growth and development.Training to increase knowledge and abilities for posyandu cadres can help monitor children's growth and development so that it can be seen if there are problems with child development. This activity begins with the preparation, implementation and evaluation stages of activities. After training for cadres on December 20, 2021, it was found that there was an increase in cadre knowledge about SDIDTK education and on average cadres were able to practice SDIDTK using the KPSP instrument properly. It is expected for cadres to be able to apply the knowledge and skills acquired in monitoring the growth and development of children so that the progress or decline of children can be monitored optimally. Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has paralyzed several sectors of life, one of which is the education sector. In the midst of this situation, the government's effort to keep the education program running is by implementing distance learning via online. In this case, students must adapt to the use of gadgets as online media in carrying out their daily learning activities. The purpose of this service is to provide understanding and knowledge of the impact of using gadgets on physical and psychological health for students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Purwokerto. The method used in this community service is to provide direct socialization to 60 students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Purwokerto regarding the positive and negative impacts of using gadgets on physical and psychological health and demonstrations of eye exercises to reduce eye fatigue due to exposure to gadgets. Results: In this activity, the results obtained from the knowledge of students before being given socialization with good categories (15%), sufficient (40%), and less (45%) and after being given socialization, students' knowledge was good (60%), quite (35%), and less (5%). From this community service activity, it is hoped that students will better understand the positive and negative impacts on health from excessive use of gadgets and direct students to get used to managing time so that activities are more productive without gadget addiction.   Keywords: Socialization, Demonstration of eye exercise, Gadget addiction

Abstract

Clean and Healthy Living Behavior is a behavior that is carried out on the awareness of oneself, family, group, or community as a result of learning so that they can help themselves in realizing public health. There are 10 indicators set, namely the use of clean water, washing hands with clean water and soap, eradicating mosquito nests, using healthy latrines, not smoking, carrying out physical activities, eating fruit and vegetables, weighing toddlers every month, giving exclusive breastfeeding and giving birth. facilities in achieving optimal health status. Therefore, counseling regarding a Clean and Healthy Lifestyle was carried out to the children of the Tanjung Barat orphanage with the aim that the children were able to create a healthy environment, prevent the spread of disease, be able to take advantage of health facility services, and be able to develop health that comes from the community. The community service method carried out is to give a pretest to the children of the Tanjung Barat orphanage to measure their knowledge of Clean and Healthy Life Behavior, followed by the delivery of material on Clean and Healthy Life Behavior, and after that, a post-test is given to determine understanding children to the material provided. The results of the pre-test showed that the average target knowledge was 92.14. Then, there was an increase in post-test results of 99.29. So this article concludes that there is an increase in children's knowledge about Clean and Healthy Life Behavior. Abstract

Positive changes in behavior require a complex process and take more time. So that more encouragement is needed to adopt it. Clean and healthy life behavior (PHBS) needs to be applied as early as possible so that the knowledge and attitudes possessed are permanent and long last to strengthen the culture of a clean and healthy society. Elementary school children who are very sensitive and vulnerable to changes that occur in the environment are challenged to implement clean and healthy behavior. In addition, children tend to imitate the behavior of people who are more mature in everyday life. Community service aims to increase children’s knowledge and skills in implementing life and healthy behavior in everyday life. Therefore, it is essential to instill knowledge and behavior of clean and healthy life behavior in children to get used to maintaining and improving personal health and help the next generation to be healthier both physically and spiritually. This community service aims to increase children’s knowledge and skills in implementing life and healthy behavior in everyday life. The method used is counseling for twenty children in Yayasan Taruna Pertiwi 2 at Pasar Minggu, Jakarta Selatan, with a range of elementary school (SD) to junior high school (SMP). The evaluation is carried out in the form of pre test and post test and focuses on group discussions. There is an increase in the knowledge and skills of each child regarding clean and healthy living behaviors, especially in hand washing and brushing teeth and understanding the nutritional consumption of “Isi Piringku”.   Keywords: Clean and Healthy Life Behavior ; Children; Knowledge
