Dharma Sastra merupakan jurnal ilmiah nasional yang memuat tentang hasil penelitian bahasa dan sastra daerah. Jurnal ini mencakup kaidah kebahasaan sekaligus didedikasikan untuk pelestarian bahasa daerah nusantara. Upaya ini sangat penting sebagai edukasi keanekaragaman bahasa daerah termasuk pengetahuan nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam ragam sastra daerah nusantara. Dharma Sastra diterbitkan dua kali dalam setahun oleh Prodi Magister Pendidikan Bahasa Bali Universitas Hindu Negeri I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar.

Abstract

This research examines the drama gong Cupak dadi Ratu Karya Dr. Drs. I Wayan Sugita, M.Si from Drama Gong; in terms of educational aspects, sad kerthi, the success of development in Bali. The topic was chosen with the aim of being able to understand the Text; and explore the contents of the cupak dadi Ratu gong drama which is full of love and social aspects. The problem of this research is that it concerns the social aspects contained in the drama gong Cupak dadi Ratu. The theoretical basis used to solve this problem is the sociology of literature. This research is then divided into three stages, namely: the stage of data collection using observation and interview methods as well as recording and observation techniques virtually, (2) the data processing stage by translating and analyzing, and (3) the stage of presenting the results of data analysis using informal method. The results obtained from this research reveal social aspects including: educational aspects, sad kerthi aspects, educational aspects, arts aspects, love aspects, and development success aspects in Bali.

Abstract

This paper describes the meaning of the verb cook in Balinese based on the theory of Natural Semantic Metalanguage. This research is to obtain a comprehensive meaning configuration of the lexical verb "cook" in Balinese. The method used in this research is descriptive-qualitative method by following the following steps: data classification, analyzing the semantic structure of the verb “cook”, and describing the components obtained to produce a configuration of meaning about special features, especially applying paraphrasing. Based on the analysis, it was found that the verb "cook" in Balinese can be expressed in several lexicon, namely: "ngukus, nunu, nyanyah, lablab, ngoreng, nguling, ngadon, ngurab, ngaru,".

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the existence of the performing arts of drama gong as an educational medium to revitalize the Balinese language. As a result of the qualitative study, data collection was carried out through observation, document review, and in-depth interviews with several key informants who understand the Balinese language and culture. Data analysis was carried out by applying the theory of symbolic interactionism and semiotics. The results of the study show that the drama gong is a performing art that is loved by the Balinese people and consistently uses Balinese as its introduction so that the vitality of the Balinese language can be maintained. Drama gong has become a Balinese language education medium that can directly target young Balinese as supporters of the Balinese language. Besides teaching Balinese language patterns, drama gongs also teach Balinese sorsinggih and the social structure of Balinese society. The drama gong is also a medium for transmitting Balinese to the younger generation of Balinese so that this performing art contributes to ensuring the survival of the Balinese language. In today's digital era, efforts to maintain the Balinese language through the performing arts of drama gongs in the form of TV shows and digital media Youtube need to be continuously developed.

Abstract

The one of tradition which held until now in Desa Adat Subagan is Nyabung Tradition which is a part of Aci Purnama Sasih Kaulu. Nyabung Tradition be one of each tradition which relate with natural preservation, because on that tradition have value and hope from pople, especially Balinese Hinduism make pray for living peace like a Tri Hita Karana copcept. Because of that problem backround, the problem which be focus on this research is analysis of culture ecology on Nyabung tradition in Subagan Village, Karangasem Regency. Purpose of this research is to describe culture ecology on Nyabung Tradition in Subagan Village, Karangasem Regency. Theory of this research is sunctional structural. Result of this research is, there some ecologycal culture from Nyabung tradition such as Nyabung tradition have a relation with Tri Hita Karana concept and there's relation between Nyabung tradition with natural preservation. In skala way, natural preservation can see from controling from chicken population and how to take care chichken in order not to destroy our environment, in niskala way natural preservation by praying to God with some religion ceremony.

Abstract

The independent curriculum is a curriculum with diverse intracurricular learning where the content is more optimal so that students have enough time to explore concepts and strengthen competencies. In the learning process, the teacher has the flexibility to choose various teaching tools so that learning can be adapted to the learning needs and interests of students. In this curriculum there are projects to strengthen the achievement of the Pancasila student profile. Where developed based on certain themes set by the government. This project does not aim to achieve certain learning achievement targets, so it is not tied to subject content. The essence of this independent curriculum is freedom of learning. This is conceptualized so that students can explore their respective interests and talents. For example, if two children in one family have different interests, then the benchmarks used to judge are not the same. Then children also cannot be forced to learn something they do not like so that it will provide autonomy and independence for students and schools. The main characteristics of this curriculum that supports learning recovery are project-based learning for the development of soft skills and character according to the Pancasila student profile, focusing on essential ministers so that there is sufficient time for in-depth learning for basic competencies such as literacy and numeracy, and flexibility for teachers to perform differentiated learning according to the ability of students and make adjustments to the local context and content. In the current era of industrial revolution 4.0 education, it is more focused on emphasizing technological knowledge by strengthening local content, so that teachers in this era are highly required to be able to master technology that aims to help the learning process. The learning process is emphasized more on the freedom of students to choose, do and understand the learning process. So that all learning in the current era will continue to refer to the profile of Pancasila students, namely faith, fear of God Almighty and noble character; Global diversity; Worked together; Independent; Critical reasoning; as well as creative. This has become the basis for the formation of an independent curriculum which has begun to be implemented at the Driving School and will be distributed equally to other schools. The driving school is a fostered school to realize the vision of Indonesian education in realizing an advanced Indonesia that is sovereign, independent, and has personality through the creation of Pancasila Students.

Abstract

Nowadays, there are generations who are trying to restore the existence of the Kawi language through various positive activities and have major implications for the development of the Kawi language. One of them is carried out by student organizations within the State Hindu University I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar (UHN IGBS Denpasar). Students who are members of the student organization give a new nuance to the implementation of the use of the Kawi language as outlined in the form of giving the theme of student activities. In this study, the researcher attempted to analyze the implementation of Kawi as the theme of student activities and to analyze the logical arguments why students prefer Kawi compared to other languages in determining the theme of the activity. The entire problem formulation will be studied by researchers using linguistic landscapes theory and implementation theory with qualitative research methods. All the results in this study will be described in the form of interpretive descriptive. With the intention that all the findings in this study are not only descriptive but able to represent the intent and meaning of the data obtained. In addition, all data findings in this study used library research methods and field research through purposive sampling interview techniques. The findings in this study provide a clear picture that the implementation of Kawi language as the theme of student activities shows that students of UHN IGBS Denpasar feel proud to have Kawi as a literary language that must be preserved. This sense of pride is shown through the media or the way to carry out student activities as an effort to preserve it. This is supported by the logical argument of students who stated that they prefer Kawi language as the theme of the activity compared to other languages because in addition to preserving the Kawi language it is also to brand the organization as a vehicle for expression of students who love cultural values. The implications will be very large because it will indirectly lead the general public to be interested in learning the Kawi language and Hindu literatures such as lontar, Puranas, chronicles, and so on.

Abstract

Abstract The online learning process that has been carried out at SMKN 1 Amlapura is less than optimal, it is proven that there is a lack of understanding to understand the material of Balinese script pairs in class X students. One of the factors causing the low understanding of students is the use of learning media during online learning. The interactive learning media of Balinese script is a two-way media which is expected to increase the understanding of class X students of SMKN 1 Amlapura. The problems of this research are (1) what is the cause of the use of interactive learning media using Balinese script in LMS melajah.id class X SMKN 1 Amlapura? (2) How is the process of using interactive learning media to install Balinese script in LMS melajah.id class X SMKN 1 Amlapura? (3) What are the implications of the interactive learning media of Balinese script on LMS melajah.id? This study concludes that the causes of using Balinese script interactive learning media are; (1) alternatives during a pandemic, (2) encouraging students to study independently. (3) access to learning materials is very flexible (4) costs are cheaper, (5) makes it easier to analyze student-processed data (6) learning variations are not monotonous, (7) learning media in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. The process of using interactive learning media for Balinese script includes three stages, namely: (1) the planning stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. Abstract

The purpose of research is the research aimed to seek, describe and analized Commodification of Balinese letter as a Creative Economic movement in Gianyar Regency. This research is using the commodification theory, symbolize theory, and the social impact theory. The kind of research is the qualitative form, by using the primarily data which derived from the result of the observation, interview, and also documentation, while the secondary data, there were gained from the printed materials, impirical research, and also relevant references that were implied in the research’s tittle. The method of research is The research was using purposive sampling technique. The data collection was gained by using the observation technique, interview, references studies, and documentation study. After the researcher gained the data, it would be analyzed by reduction, classification, and conclusion. The result and conclusion of research can be explained through several matters, there would be: (1) The form of Aksara Bali or Balinese Letter commodification in the form of creative economy industry in Gianyar are in nametag, inscriptions, printed media, and name board. (2) The form of Aksara Bali or Balinese letters product of creative economy industry is by written with the line up term in the economical product, with the Swalalita form of letters which included in the group of warga Aksara Bali or common Balinese letters, completed with the pasang pageh Aksara Bali or the rules in Balinese letters, by following the Harswa and Dirgha term of rules. (3) The impact of Aksara Bali or Balinese letters being existed in the creative economy industry in Gianyar is the socioreligious of the Gianyar Community identity is getting bolder with the both culture and Hindus religion, yet impacted the gradually of  the degradation of  the sacredness of the appliance of the Aksara Bali or Balinese letters itself, but economically, it enhanched the artists’ income but affected the lost of magical value and turned to become profanity of the Aksara Bali or Balinese letters in Gianyar Regency.

Abstract

Lontar Taru pramana is one of the healing lontars. The existence of medicinal plants contained in the lontar, along with the times, is increasingly being abandoned. This also has an impact on the survival of the vocabulary of medicinal plants. Therefore, it is necessary to study the durability of the vocabulary. Based on the results of interviews conducted, the vocabulary of traditional medicinal plants in lontar taru pramana in Padangaji Village still survives. Of the 156 traditional medicinal plants listed in the lontar taru pramana text, 102 types of plants are known by the Padangaji community, but the persistence of the use of traditional medicinal plants in lontar taru pramana in Padangaji Village has not survived. This is because of the 156 types of medicinal plants found in lontar taru pramana, only 40 plants are known to be used by the Padangaji community or only 25%. The survival of the vocabulary of traditional medicinal plants in the Taru pramana lontar manuscript is not closely related to the persistence of the use of traditional medicinal plants in the village.

Abstract

Environmental problems have occurred in almost all corners of the world, this happens because in everyday life humans act without using ethics and morals towards the environment. The planting and development of environmental moral values is carried out through environmental education oriented to local wisdom. Lontar as a result of traditional literary works is one of the local wisdoms of the Balinese people and even the archipelago. The lontar which represents the noble values of nature and the environment that are respected by the Balinese people, one of which is the Kuttara Kanda Dewa Purana Bangsul lontar. The story of the Kuttara Kanda Dewa Purana Bangsul ejection contains dominant symbols related to ecology which then results in a study of environmental problems, and the Kuttara Kanda Dewa Purana Bangsul ejection story raises the socio-ecological life of the Balinese people through the disclosure of educational values in it so that it can be used as a reference in implementation of environmental-based education programs to address sustainable environmental crises. In the lontar Kuttara Kanda Dewa Purana Bangsul, it is narrated that Hyang Pasupati as the main character can be observed from the intensity of involvement in the story, the story in this script is set in the natural environment of Bali. The mandate contained in the lontar story of Kuttara Kanda Dewa Purana Bangsul is the attitude of devotion to the gods. The function of the Kuttara Kanda Dewa Purana Bangsul text can be concluded that the placement of the gods in the natural environment of Bali has an impact on the establishment of good relations between humans and God which is divided into religious and ethical functions. The value of environmental education in the story of Kuttara Kanda Dewa Purana Bangsul is in the form of efforts to conserve the physical environment through the Sad Krti concept including: girikrti, wanakrti, sagarakrti, ranukrti, swikrti, and Jagatkrti.
