Abstract

This article is an attempt by the author to observe the phenomenon of social mobility as the effect of Islamic education which is carried out so far. For this purpose the authors conduct a conceptual study on the development of education in the perspective of sociology, with the Qur'an as the foundation of the development of Islamic education as intended. Social mobility is essentially a movement of a person or group of people, both vertical and horizontal, to be an important point discussed in this article. In this case, there are at least three important roles that Islamic education carries. First, Islamic education as the foundation for social mobility. Secondly, Islamic education as a foundation for social stratification changes. Third, Islamic education as a channel for the movement of social mobility.

Abstract

AbstractThis article is a socio-cultural comparative study on character education in general and the philosophy and local wisdom within the culture of Manggarai-NTT people that is  “uwa haeng wulang, langkas haeng ntala” (grow up to the moon, and be high up to the sky). For the Manggaraian people, character education should be done optimally (maximally) in order to obtain highest achievement. The expectation is completed with strong personality as described in the phrase “wake caler ngger wa, saung bembang ngger eta” (be rooted in the deepest earth, and reach the outward world). By the comparison, character education in Indonesia will be easily implemented in local context. Moreover, the dialog between the two values will enrich the picture of character education in Indonesian.AbstrakArtikel ini merupakan suatu kajian sosio-budaya perbandingan antara konsep pendidikan karakter pada umumnya dengan filosofi dan kearifan lokal orang Manggarai yakni “uwa haeng wulang, langkas haeng ntala” (bertumbuh sampai ke bulan, tinggi sampai ke langit). Bagi orang Manggarai, pendidikan karakter tidak boleh dilakukan setengah-setengah atau sekadarnya saja. Pendidikan harus dibuat secara optimal agar tercapai cita-cita yang tinggi. Cita-cita itu dilengkapi dengan jati diri yang kokoh seperti dilukiskan dengan “wake caler ngger wa, saung bembang ngger eta” (pribadi yang berakar kuat/ke dalam dan berwawasan luas/ke luar). Melalui perbandingan ini, pendidikan karakter yang dicita-citakan oleh negara Indonesia lebih mudah dilaksanakan di dalam konteks lokal. Abstract

Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Walisongo Semarang merupakan kampus yang menerapkan konsep green campus. Tujuan green campus tidak hanya pembejaran yang lebih baik dan maju namun ikut berpartisipasi serta bertanggung jawab dalam menciptakan kampus yang berkelanjutan dalam rangka mencipakan kampus peduli lingkungan. Menyadari pentingnya perencanaan kampus berkelanjutan Universitas Islam Negeri Walisongo, mencanangkan program green campus sehingga dapat menjadikan lingkungan kampus menjadi bersih, sehat, asri dan ramah lingkungan serta bebas polusi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pengetahuan mahasiswa terkait lingkungan khususnya green campus berbanding lurus dengan perilaku ramah lingkungan di dalam dan diluar kampus. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, dengan instrument pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dari 35 sampel yang diperoleh terdiri dari 24 mahasiswa FST dan 11 mahasiswa FITK dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan lingkungan khususnya green campus berbanding lurus dengan perilaku ramah lingkungan di dalam dan diluar kampus. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan pengetahuan mahasiswa tentang program green campus, langkah untuk mensukseskan program green campus, dan sikap peduli lingkungan baik di dalam kampus maupun luar kampus.                                                                                                                                  Kata kunci: kesadaran; sikap terhadap lingkungan; pengetahuan lingkungan; kampus hijau; ramah lingkungan

Abstract

The research was conducted on 9 to 15 March 2014 in the Ekas Bay region, East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara Province. Water quality data acquisitions was done with purposive sampling by using a multiparameter WQC-24 TOA-DKK, floating drought in situ current measurement and water sampling for laboratory check. The parameters measured are temperature, salinity, DO, dT, pH, flow speed, Turbidity, TOM, NO2, NH3, PO4P, Chlorophyll and TSS. Data analysis using descriptive and Biplot graph analysis. The results showed range of values ​​for all parameters was almost in accordance with KepmennegLH No. 51 of 2004, based on physico-chemical parameters measured, still in good condition. Only the phosphate values ​​which average value of 0.41 mg / L is above the standard of Kepmenneg LH No. 51 of 2004 which is 0.015 mg / L. Permalink/DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.15408/sd.v2i1.1378

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' critical thinking skills in social science subjects in grade V SDN Majalengka Kulon I through cooperative learning model of group investigation type. This research uses action research method using Kemmis and Mc.Taggart model consisting of four stages namely, planning, action, observation and reflection conducted for two cycles. Data collection techniques used field notes, documentation, teacher activity observation and student activity observation, test and non test. The subjects in this study are the students of grade V SDN Majalengka Kulon I. The results showed an increase in critical thinking skills. This is evidenced by the average percentage of students in the action cycle I is 69.9%. Teacher activity according to the steps of this method reaches 67,5% and student activity reach 65%. The increase in the second cycle reached 88% of teacher activity in accordance with the steps of this method reached 90% and student activity reached 87.5%. The implication of this research is cooperative learning model of group investigation type to improve critical thinking ability. In the 5th theme teaching subjects are proud as Indonesia. The results of this study indicate an increase in students' critical thinking skills through cooperative learning model type investigation.

Abstract

The development of tourism in Bali has caused structural changes from agrarian economy into a service economy. The positive impact of the tourism sector, among others, increasing the living standards of the people, especially those in the field that has to do with tourism. Infrastructure development in various regions of Bali is directed to facilitate transportation and communication between regions. While the negative impact that arises is the commercialization, commodification, and profanation, the traditions and customs remain well-preserved through the implementation of a religious ritual (yajna) in everyday life. This condition is a process of dynamic equilibrium, ie the awareness of the people of Bali to constantly adapt and tolerate what happens outside, but on the other hand they aware that they are to keep their tradition.

Abstract

This paper aims to cover the philosophy of science or the religious Islamic epistemology through Bediuzzaman Said Nursi’s thought carried out with the fraternization of natural sciences with the religious sciences, to strengthen the truths arranged on modern advanced scientific beliefs and spiritual alignments for development, for guiding and enlightening the modern-day youth. The cautious use of freedom and its protection with clear definition on the liberty limits was narrated by Bediüzzaman Said Nursi’s Risale-i Nur (1910 – 1950), provided the desired the celestial and modern facts to right channelize with the determination to validate the evidences for Islam’s assurance for religious revival. Reasoning the ignorance in individuals and exploitation of supremacy for rigid unsophisticated ideals of moral values, Bediüzzaman Said Nursi’s prospered on the issue of the Islamic world from the oubliettes of inexperience and deficiency; with the spirit and liberal thought, that a superior demand on learning can place the society obsessed for development by protection from the onslaught which could disturb relationships for personal advantage, exclusive treatment and disenchanted extravaganza. Appeals to normalize the leadership character for materialism and the interest in properties have historically been connected to evolution, methodical substantiation of knowledge, and excellent protection for socio-economic expansion. To overcome numerous hindrances and sustained teaching with understandings of Islam, education needed to inspire erudition method towards development across all societies. Bediüzzaman Said Nursi’s solid propagandizing’s laid the foundation to peace and harmony do not use any force and avoid any disruption turned out to be effective, when it shared character and spiritual instruction. Core temperament and consciousness in its truthful real form will exhibit the quality of humankind, therefore and reveal facts about themselves.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan kesiapan guru dan dukungan institusi dengan cakupan materi IFRS pada mata pelajaran akuntansi tingkat SMA. Sampel penelitian adalah guru mata pelajaran Akuntansi tingkat SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Serang yang terdiri atas 19 responden. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner tertutup serta observasi. Data yang diperoleh akan dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik korelasi jenjang Spearman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan guru tidak berhubungan dengan cakupan materi IFRS. Hal ini disebabkan karena kesiapan psikologis tidak dibarengi dengan pemahaman materi IFRS. Sedangkan hipotesis yang kedua  juga menunjukkan  tidak  adanya  hubungan  secara  signifikan  antara  dukungan institusi  dengan cakuan materi IFRS. Konsisten dengan hasil penelitian sebelumnya, masih kurangnya dukungan institusi dalam memberikan kesempatan kepada guru untuk mengikuti seminar/workshop/pelatihan materi IFRS.Abstract: This study aimed to analyze the relationship between the readiness of teachers and support institutions with the material scope of IFRS on accounting subjects high school level. Samples were teachers Subjects Accounting rate of high schools in Serang district consisting of 19 respondents. Data collection was performed by the enclosed questionnaire and observation. Data were analyzed using Spearman correlation technique level. The results showed that the readiness of teachers is not related to the material scope of IFRS. While an estimated 73.7% of the respondents expressed their readiness, but it is not coupled with an understanding of matter IFRS. Moreover, the results also showed no significant relationship between institutional support with the material scope of IFRS. Consistent with results of previous studies that showed the lack of institutional support in providing the opportunity for teachers to attend seminars / workshops / workshops / training on IFRS materials.Pengutipan: Windarti, A. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan rendahnya minat menjadi guru ekonomi pada mahasiswa pendidikan ekonomi Universitas Jambi. Faktor peningkatan mutu pendidikan dan prestasi akademik didiuga merupakan salah satu faktor penyebabnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengaruh positif dan signifikansi antara peningkatan mutu pendidikan dan prestasi akademik terhadap minat menjadi guru ekonomi pada mahasiswa pendidikan ekonomi Universitas Jambi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi angkatan 2017 dan 2018 sebanyak 142 mahasiswa. Sampel yang terpilih dengan teknik pengambilan sampel Proportionate Stratified Sampling yaitu sebanyak 58 mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptifi kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik angket dan teknik dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: Pertama, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara peningkatan mutu pendidikan terhadap minat menjadi guru ekonomi pada mahasiswa pendidikan ekonomi Universitas Jambi.   Hal  ini didukung  berdasarkan hasil analisis uji t  dengan  bantuan   SPSS17.0 thitung sebesar 3,789 dan ttabel 1,673 atau 3,789 > 1,673 dan nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari probabilitas 0,05 atau 0,000 < 0,05. Kedua, tidak terdapat pengaruh antara pengaruh yang signifikan antara prestasi akademik terhadap minat  menjadi guru  ekonomi.   Berdasarkan analisis  uji t  dengan bantuan  SPSS17.0 diperoleh thitung sebesar 0,44 dan ttabel 1,673 atau 0,44 < 1,673 dan nilai signifikansi lebih besar dari probabilitas 0,05 atau 0,965 > 0,05. Ketiga, terdapat pengaruh antar peningkatan mutu pendidikan dan prestasi akademik terhadap minat menjadi guru ekonomi.Berdasarkan analisis uji F dengan bantuan SPSS17.0 diperoleh Fhitung sebesar 7,178 dengan nilai sig = 0,002. Nilai Fhitung lebih besar dari nilai Ftabel (7,178 > 3,16), dan nilai sig, lebih kecil dari nilai probabilitas 0,05 atau nilai 0,002 < 0,05. Dari hasil penelitian disarankan agar mahasiswa meningkatakan perhatian terhadap peningkatan mutu pendidikan dan prestasi akademik agar dapat menjadi guru ekonomi yang berkualitas.

Abstract

abstract Internalization of multicultural values ​​is important in MA Al-Mawaddah because the characteristics of MA Al-Mawaddah students are multicultural. This study aims to: (1) find out the multicultural values ​​contained in learners in MA Al-Mawaddah, (2) analyze the way of teachers in internalizing multicultural values ​​to foster multicultural attitude in students, and (3) to know the teacher's constraint in internalizing multicultural values in IPS learning and solutions. This research uses qualitative approach with case study method. The data were collected using observation, interview, and documentation study. The analysis of this research data is based on Miles and Huberman model, which starts with data reduction, data display, followed by factor analysis, explanation, and comprehension. The results of the research indicate that: (1) the multicultural values ​​found in MA Al-Mawaddah students, among others, the values ​​of tolerance, mutual respect and respect, (2) the internalization of the multicultural values ​​by teachers is done by explaining and giving various examples to the students; ) difficulties faced by students in obtaining multicultural values, mostly in understanding and how they understand. So the solution, to solve this problem the teacher continuously explain and discuss this issue until the students understand.  Abstrak Internalisasi nilai-nilai multikultural penting dilakukan di MA Al-Mawaddah karena karakteristik para siswa MA Al-Mawaddah yang multikultural. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui nilai multikultural yang terdapat pada peserta didik di MA Al-Mawaddah, (2) menganalisis cara guru dalam menginternalisasikan nilai multikultural untuk menumbuhkan sikap multikultural pada siswa, dan (3) mengetahui kendala guru dalam menginternalisasikan nilai multikultural dalam pembelajaran IPS berikut solusinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data penelitian ini didasarkan pada model Miles dan Huberman, yakni dimulai dengan reduksi data, display data, yang dilanjutkan dengan analisis faktor, penjelasan, dan pemahaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) nilai multikultural yang terdapat pada siswa MA Al-Mawaddah, yaitu nilai toleransi, saling menghargai dan menghormati, (2) internalisasi nilai multikultural oleh guru dilakukan melalui  menjelaskan dan memberikan berbagai contoh kepada siswa, dan (3) kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh siswa dalam memperoleh nilai multikultural, sebagian besar dalam memahami dan bagaimana mereka mengerti. Sehingga solusi, untuk memecahkan masalah ini guru terus menerus menjelaskan dan membahas masalah ini sampai siswa memahami.  Pengutipan: Rufaida, Hasna. (2017).
