Abstract

This study aims to analyzed: (1) the use of the internet and social media by dairy farmers from the Rejeki Barokah livestock group as a source of information during the Covid-19 pandemic, (2) factors that influence the utilization and use of social media by dairy farmers from the Rejeki Barokah cattle’s group as a source of information for farmers during the Covid-19 pandemic, (3) the impact of using the internet and social media by dairy farmers from the Rejeki Barokah livestock group as a source of information in Bringin Village, Wajak District, Malang Regency in January-March 2022. This research was conducted using qualitative methods. Main informants in this study was determined by purposive sampling method as many as 5 resource persons and key informants using snowball sampling as many as 7 sources. The method of collecting data is through in-depth interviews or in-depth interviews. The data analysis in this study used the Miles and Huberman data analysis technique and the validity of the data was determined by the triangulation method. Based on the results of data analysis, data obtained: (1) The use of the internet and social media is the use of Whatsapp, Facebook, Browser, and Youtube. (2) The factor of using social depends on their occupation, culture, personality, level of awareness of information, gender, age, availability of time, access, cost, information overload, and the importance of using social media. (3) The impact arising from the use of social media by members in the form of cognitive, conative, affective and psychomotor effects, the use of social media also has an impact on the knowledge of farmers and from the emergence of these impacts can also have an impact on increasing the scale of the livestock business of members Rejeki Barokah Livestock group

Abstract

This study aims to provide an explanation and recommendations based on previous studies on the ethics of the millennial generation in the framework of realizing Pancasila. This research is a qualitative research using a literature review method from previous research and textbooks that are appropriate to the topic. The research data is in the form of primary and secondary data obtained by means of a literature review. Qualitative research data analysis uses the stages suggested by Miles & Hubberman (1992) consisting of data collection, data reduction, displaying the reduced data and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that in general the millennial generation still has ethics in interacting with their environment, although there are several studies showing that the millennial generation is unethical in using social media

Abstract

Gadgets are a form of electronic media that is widely used among the general public, especially children who are still in school. The use of gadgets is very influential on children's social behavior, especially in the way they interact with their social or environment, even though children's gadgets become more emotional and forget time, often neglecting their obligations as students. From that problem, this study aims to determine the social behavior of children who are addicted to playing gadgets during the current pandemic. This study used qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques using observation, structured and in-depth interviews. The research subjects consisted of 10 subjects: 7 children aged 9–13 years, 2 housewives, and 1 mother who worked as a teacher. The results showed that gadgets can affect social behavior in children. The importance of the role of parents during online learning at home is to always be able to provide supervision and knowledge about the use of gadgets that should be useful and not have a negative impact on children. Abstract

Kebutuhan masyarakat terhadap sekolah fullday semakin tahun semakin meningkat. Banyak faktor yang melatarbelakangi hal tersebut, yang menjadi menarik untuk diteliti adalah apa yang menjadi alasan orangtua memilih memasukkan anaknya ke sekolah fullday. Penulis mengambil contoh sekolah fullday yang ada di kabupaten kotawaringin barat, tepatnya Sekolah Islam Terpadu. Ada dua Yayasan (sekolah) yang menerapkan system sekolah fullday di kabupaten kotawaringin barat, yaitu SIT Al manar dan SIT Cendikia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu data yang dikumpulkan berbentuk kata-kata, gambar, bukan angka-angka. Penulis melakukan pengamatan dan berperan sebagai partisipan observasion aktif, mewawancari wali murid di kedua lembaga tersebut. Kemudian menganalisis dan mereduksi data yang diperoleh dari lapangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa yang menjadi kebutuhan wali murid terhadap sekolah fullday adalah agar anaknya mendapatkan Pendidikan yang tepat. Yang tidak hanya cerdas secara akademik, namun juga berkarakter, cerdas secara sosial dan emosionalnya, juga faham dengan baik tentang agamanya. Juga menjadi alasan yang tidak kalah penting adalah orangtua ingin anak mendapat lingkungan yang baik saat anak ditinggalkan berkerja.

Abstract

Education is a process that aims to develop the potential of humans and gain useful knowledge for themselves later. But what happens at school, many students secretly violate and ignore the rules. Based on this phenomenon, the authors are interested to conduct research on the factors causing low discipline among 9th-grade students of SMP X in Surakarta. The method used is qualitative descriptive method. In terms of self-awareness, the students were also assessed as lacking. This is because the sanctions given are considered mild for students. The habit of a student who often do things without self-awareness and high responsibility changing their habits into bad habits. The conclusion that can be drawn, SMP X students in Surakarta are classified as having less discipline. This is evidenced by the high level of violation of school rules. The pandemic has also caused a decrease in the quality of discipline from students because it has been changed by the “new normal” which makes students carry out activities more easily at home. Abstract

This study aims to look at the general description of subjective well-being in terms of cognitive and affective aspects, and the contribution of the factors forming subjective well-being to the level of subjective well-being in TK Masyitoh IV Laweyan Surakarta teachers. Subjective well-being is explained as a person's subjective evaluation of his life, including overall satisfaction with life which is characterized by high positive affect and low negative affect (Diener, 1984). The method used in this study was a qualitative method, using semi-structured interviews. The main informants in this study were two teachers of TK Masyitoh IV Laweyan Surakarta, supporting informants in this study were administrators of TK Masyitoh IV Laweyan Surakarta, numbering one person and one student's parents. The results showed that the average subjective well-being of TK Masyitoh IV Laweyan Surakarta teachers was quite high. On average, TK Masyitoh IV Laweyan Surakarta teachers like their life and feel that everything is going well. For further research that is interested in conducting research with the same theme, it is expected to deepen the factors that influence subjective well-being in kindergarten teachers such as gender and age. Abstract

Students who leave their home area to live for some time in another area are called overseas students. Becoming an overseas student is not an easy thing, apart from the dissatisfaction of a student, it often creates feelings of discomfort and unhappiness which results in poor psychological well-being for overseas students. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the Psychological Well-being of Overseas Students at Sahid University, Surakarta. In this study using qualitative methods with observation and interview data collection techniques. The informants of this study were students from overseas outside Java who studied at Sahid University, Surakarta, totaling 7 informants. The results of this research are the psychological well-being of overseas students outside Java who study at Sahid University, Surakarta, in general 4 have good psychological well-being, 3 of them have poor psychological well-being, these 3 informants must be able to improve aspects of self-acceptance and aspects of development self. Abstract

Adolescence is the transition from childhood to early adulthood. Childhood as we know Together, they make friends with the same and the opposite sex without awkwardness and shame. Even though they believe that they are no longer children, the people around them still believe that they are still children. This study uses a qualitative methodology. Junior high school children were used as subjects. Data collection techniques from subjects using interviews. In some of the subjects we interviewed, their behavior when they were dating especially when the two of them were just chatting, studying together, worshiping together, spoiled like little children. Dating activities among junior high school students is a normal and natural phase experienced by teenagers, especially those who are going through puberty. Dating itself is two people who love each other, are willing to do anything to make their partner happy and have a future goal of being a companion for life forever, which is called marriage. Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of self-control that influences students' career decision-making. Adolescents who have low self-control tendencies will make career decisions without considering the consequences and responsibilities they have to endure. The subjects of this study were seven junior high school students with an age range of 14–15 years. Data collection techniques in this study used direct observation and interview techniques. The results of this study showed that the students who were interviewed said they made career decisions of their own free will, but some of them were due to their parents, and some made decisions after considering their family circumstances. Based on the results of research on self-control in students' career decision-making, it was found that the contribution of self-control to decision-making abilities was still quite low but had a positive direction. so that the higher the student's self-control, the more influential he is in his decision-making. Abstract

Self-concept is a mental picture or someone's perspective of what he has about himself. A person's self-concept can be formed through a learning process that starts from childhood to adulthood and influences from events or the environment that can have an impact on psychological well-being. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the relationship between self-concept and psychological well-being of students at Sahid University of Surakarta. This research method uses quantitative methods with a total of 115 students who have certain criteria, which is being active students and coming from 9 undergraduate study programs at Sahid University, Surakarta. The sampling technique used in this study used a purposive sampling technique, with data analysis using product moment and simple linear regression. Based on the results of the correlations table, a correlation coefficient of 0.875 was obtained in the very strong category and a significance value of self-concept and psychological well-being of 0.000 <0.05 concluded that there was a relationship between self-concept and psychological well-being. Meanwhile, based on the results of the coefficient of determination (R square) of 0.765, which means that the effect of self-concept on psychological well-being is 76.5%. The results of the summary model show that Fcount = 368.238 with a significant level of 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that self-concept influences the psychological well-being of students at Sahid University, Surakarta. The higher the self-concept of a student, the higher his psychological well-being. Keywords: Self Concept, Psychological Well-being, Student
