Abstract

Makalah ini akan menyajikan dan menganalisa relasi hati (qalb) dengan zikir dalam perspektif tafsir sufistik. Ayat-ayat Alquran yang akan dikupas untuk membincang tema ini antara lain: QS. Al-Anfal (8): 2-4, QS. Ar-Ra’d (13): 28, QS. Al-Hajj (22) : 32, QS. Al-Fath (48): 4, dan QS. Al-Hadid (57): 27. Metode untuk menyingkap relasi hati terhadap jiwa dalam berzikir ini akan menerapkan pendekatan tafsir isyari agar bisa memproduksi makna batin (esoterik) dalam sejumlah ayat-ayat yang dianalisa. Metode ini diterapkan karena tidak bertentangan dalam penafsiran eksoteris ayat-ayat al-Quran yang disinggung. Dalam kajian ini ditemukan bahwa zikir hati (bi al-qalb) adalah sarana vital dan relevan untuk mendekatkan diri seorang hamba kepada Tuhan dan berefek dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Terlebih, dalam konteks modern yang kerapkali membuat manusia tercerabut dan terasing dari dirinya sendiri.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi hakikat pendidikan karakter dalam perspektif Islam. Berdasarkan fakta yang terjadi, pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter memang menjadi kebutuhan untuk membangun bangsa Indonesia dari krisis karakter. Islam adalah agama yang universal dan sangat memperhatikan berbagai aspek kehidupan. Oleh karena itu, Islam telah memberikan konstribusi terhadap pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter yang bersumber pada Alquran dan hadis. Ruh dari pendidikan karakter berdasarkan perspektif ajaran Islam terletak pada keteladanan sebagaimana yang telah dicontohkan Nabi Muhammad SAW dalam membangun masyarakat Mekah dan Madinah dari krisis moral.

Abstract

Artikel ini berfokus pada pandangan metafisika Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas sebagai fondasi peradaban. Dîn Islam merupakan salah satu konsep pengembangan metafisikanya. Dîn menurut al-Attas berkait erat secara konseptual dengan makna suatu peradaban karena memiliki kesamaan akar kata dengan nilai-nilai universal yang terkandung dan terhubung dalam keseluruhan konsep dîn. Melalui interpretasi konsep dîn, penulis menemukan bahwa pandangan metafisika al-Attas mampu memberikan kontribusi dalam meletakkan fondasi peradaban Islam. Fondasi tersebut terletak pada visi nilai-nilai etis-spiritual dan kecenderungan alamiah dalam menampakkan keadilan (spectacle of justice). Kemudian, peradaban Islam juga memiliki tantangan, baik yang berasal dari luar ataupun dari dalam. Tantangan peradaban Islam dari luar adalah sekularisasi yang berasal dari pemikiran Barat, sedangkan dari dalam berasal dari hilangnya Adab (loss of Adab). Metodologi dalam tulisan ini menggunakan pendekatan hermeneutika.

Abstract

This research elaborates on a mosque management model in abnormal conditions (the Covid-19 pandemic). This research determines how mosque congregants and residents around the mosque area converge so that they have a contribution in minimizing the spread of the Corona virus. This research was conducted at Miftahul Yakin Al-Misk Mosque, Tegal Sempur Block, Cisambeng Village, Palasah District, Majalengka, West Java. All efforts and strategies are carried out by mosque managers so that mosque religious activities are more effective and positive, starting from understanding, providing information, deliberation to implementing mosque activities. The method in this research is using descriptive-analytic method with a qualitative approach. Some of the findings in this study include: mosque management has followed health standards in the era of the Covid 19 pandemic, the education and empowerment model of mosques has begun to utilize information technology online, and mosque congregations understand the dangers of the Covid-19 pandemic so that they are aware of health protocols in participating in worship activities and religious mosque.

Abstract

This paper discusses the concept of the social example of the Prophet Muhammad, which can be used as guidelines and guidance in living a life full of challenges due to the negative impacts of the era of massive industrialization and globalization. One of the negative impacts is that we can see in some religious and political figures whose behavior does not reflect exemplary behavior, such as speaking harshly, insulting and sometimes - not being reluctant - to insult others who are different from him. Ironically, if the religious figure is a Muslim, and the political figure comes from an "Islamic" party. For that, we need to look back at the lifestyle of the Prophet Muhammad as a compass to move and inspire many people. Moreover, this has been emphasized by Alquan that in the Prophet there is a good role model. Among the social examples of the Messenger of Allah are being fair, gentle, humanist and tolerant. By doing so, it is hoped that the negative impact of industrialization and capitalization in this modern era on social life, including the social life of Muslims, can be reduced. This paper uses a literature study approach to analyze the problems discussed. The findings in this research include the very relevant concepts and social teachings of the Prophet. In addition, several Islamic methods in term of social exemplary lwere found to achieve this.

Abstract

This article discusses the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the spiritual life of Muslims in the mosque environment. It cannot be avoided if the Corona outbreak also has a major impact on the religious sector, especially in mosques, so it needs a separate formula for dealing with it. Moreover, people in Indonesia are known to be religious and used to busy themselves massively in places of worship such as prayer rooms and mosques. While on the other hand, the crowd aspect is something that must be avoided to avoid contracting the Corona virus lately. For this reason, this study aims to determine how to empower mosque congregations in overcoming the impact of Covid 19; in this case the empowerment of congregation at the Baitul Mukhlisin Mosque in Pangkalan Village, Ciawigebang District, Kuningan, West Java. The method used in this research is an action research method, a combination of data collection and processing in an integrated manner. From the results of this study found a solution to the controversy that occurred among the congregation by building a synergy between DKM of the Baitul Mukhlisin Mosque and IREMA BM as well as religious leaders using a persuasive approach to foster a spirit of cooperation and produce mutual agreement.

Abstract

Sufism is often considered a doctrine that does not support progress; accused of teaching people to distance themselves from the world and stagnating Islamic civilization. Many modern rationalists criticize Sufi teachings or tarekat for being inconsistent with advances in science and technology. This negative assumption made the tarekat (Sufi order) followers uncomfortable. Finding this skewed assumption, the researcher conducted a research on the relationship of Sufism in Qadiriyyah-Naqsabandiyyah (Sufi order of Qadiriyyah Naqsabandiyyah/TQN) with the work ethic of its followers in the Tirto Pekalongan area, Central Java. There are three objectives in this research, namely: First, to find out the motivation of the congregation to follow Qadiriyyah Naqsyabandiyyah in Tirto Pekalongan; Second, knowing the work ethic of the followers of the Qadiriyyah Naqsyabandiyyah in Tirto Pekalongan; Third, to explain the correlation between the Qadiriyyah- Naqsyabandiyyah and the work ethic of its tarekat followers. This research is a mixed study of qualitative, quantitative and descriptive which describes the relationship between TQN followers in Tirto Village, Pekalongan City and their work ethos. To explore data, researchers spread out a questionnaire and interview which were then analyzed and concluded. Some of the findings that the researchers found included: TQN practitioners in Tirto Pekalongan showed a high work ethic and TQN followers in Tirto Pekalongan had spiritual and social motivations.

Abstract

Kiai Rifa'i is one of the leading Islamic reformers on the island of Java, precisely in Kalisalak Village, Batang Regency, around the 19th century. He is a cleric figure who is worried about the condition of the Muslim community, especially rural communities who still lack religious knowledge. He tried to teach with the method of da’wah (Islamic preaching) that was easily accepted by the public at that time, namely the method of Islamic preaching - which might be a new one - by translating Islamic religious books in Javanese. One of them is the Tarajumah book which contains Sufism teachings. The purpose of this article is to find out how Kiai Rifa`i's Sufism thought in the Tarajumah book. Apart from its content, this book is interesting because it is able to instill the anti-Dutch colonial ideology as one of Kiai Rifa'i's criticisms of the Dutch colonialism and the traditional ulama (Islamic clerics) who were his collaborators. The research approach uses library research, namely research that uses literature. In obtaining data, the authors used written materials, such as books by Kiai Rifa'I, as primary data sources; as well as books, journals, manuscripts, and other documents related to the object of research as secondary references which are indeed related to the history, teachings and thoughts of Kiai Ahmad Rifa`i about Sufism and the Rifa`iyah congregation. This research found three main findings: first, the Dutch colonial government was kafir and haram to follow because it oppressed the people; second, the traditional bureaucrats, including the rulers and ulama who collaborated with the Dutch; third, K.H Ahmad Rifa`i taught eight praiseworthy qualities, and eight despicable qualities.

Abstract

This research discusses how Ibn ‘Arabi deconstructed masculine linguistic structure that having been firmly entrenched in religious traditions. For Ibn Arabi, religious conversation is no more than a discourse that tends to be masculine. Ibn ‘Arabi tried to present a deconstructing of linguistic structure, namely by making femininity as the starting point for religious discourse. The material object of this research is the thought of Ibn ‘Arabi. The formal object is the deconstructive feminist criticism Hélène Cixous. By tracing the theological motives of structural-linguistic deconstruction in Ibn ‘Arabi thought, this study aims to explore the relevance of structural-linguistic deconstruction in the context of religious discourse.
