Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk's financial distress conditions are impacted by the debt to asset ratio (DAR) and total assets turnover (TATO). The research methodology employed in this study is quantitative descriptive, meaning that the issues the organization faces are discussed together with a financial situational analysis given in numerical form. The financial ratios under investigation include the activity ratio, which is proxied by total asset turnover (TATO), and the solvency ratio, which is proxied by debt to asset ratio (DAR). Secondary data from PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk's income statement and balance sheet was utilized. time frame acquired from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The partial calculation of the analysis's data indicates that the Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) has a substantial negative effect on financial hardship, with a significance value of 0.021 < 0.05 and a ttable (-2.974 > -2.365). Financial hardship is significantly positively influenced by Total Assets Turnover (TATO) when fcalculate > ttable (3,229 > 2.365) with a significance value (0.014 < 0.05). Then, based on the test coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.905, analyze concurrently Fcalculate > Ftable (33.295 > 4.74) with a significance value (0.000 > 0.05), indicating that there is a simultaneous significant effect between Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) and Total Assets Turnover (TATO) on financial distress. This result indicates a 90% percentage, with other factors influencing the remaining 10%.

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever is a disease caused by the Dengue virus which is transmitted to humans through the bite of the Aedes Aegypti and Aedes Albocpictus mosquitoes. Aedes Aegypti is a species of tropical and sutropic mosquito found on earth. Aedes Aegypti is one of the most efficient mosquito vectors for arboviruses, because this mosquito is very anthropophilic and lives near humans and often lives indoors. Basil (Ocimum sanctum Linn) is a plant that is widely known by the Indonesian people. Basil contains flavonoid compounds and saponins. Flavonoids and saponins can be used as insecticides and larvicides. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of basil leaf extract on the death of Aedes Aegypti larvae in RT 03 RW 03, Citamiang District, Citamiang Village, Sukabumi City in 2018. This type of research is an experiment with doses of 10ml, 15ml, 20ml and 25ml with 4 repetitions. The population used was 250 Aedes Aegypti larvae, each filled with 10 individuals in each container and taken from RT 03 RW 03, Citamiang District, Citamiang Village, Sukabumi City in 2018. The data analysis used was Univariate Analysis and Bivariate Analysis using SPSS. From the results of the Univariate Analysis research, the most effective death of Aedes aegypti larvae at a dose of 25 ml was 36 larvae. And the results of the Bivariate Analysis calculations obtained a P-Value value of 0.000 < 0.05, thus showing that there was an influence of Basil Leaf Extract (Ocimum Sanctum Linn) on the death of Aedes aegypti larvae RT 03 RW 03 Citamiang District, Citamiang Village, Sukabumi City in 2018. It is recommended for future researchers to use a larger number of larvae so that the data obtained is more representative. Apart from that, it is hoped that the public can use Basil Leaf Extract as a vegetable insecticide in mosquito breeding areas.

Abstract

With the increase in population, the breeding and breeding places for Culex sp mosquitoes are also increasing. Where these mosquito larvae like to live in puddles of clean water and dirty water so that the density of Culex sp larvae is higher. Controlling disease vectors is a priority in disease control efforts because the potential for transmitting disease is very large, such as flies, mosquitoes, mice and other insects. Vector control activities can include spraying, biological control, eradicating mosquito nests and improving the environment. Efforts to control vectors, especially mosquitoes, can start from controlling the larvae. Control of mosquito larvae usually uses larvicide containing the active ingredient temephos (an organophosphate group). Galangal (Alpinia galanga) is a long-lived plant, about 1-2 meters high. Usually grows in tight clumps. Galangal leaves are toxic and repellent, and have been tested against Daucus caudatus, Manduca sexta, Aphids, besides having nematocidal activity. The aim of this research was to determine the effectiveness of galangal leaf extract (Alpinia galanga) on the death of Culex sp larvae. From the research results, from 91 ml of galangal leaf extract, a p-value coefficient of 0.03 was obtained, where the p-value <0.05 means the relationship between galangal leaf extract and larval death. From 92 ml of galangal leaf extract, a p-value coefficient of 0.03 was obtained, where the p-value <0.05 means the relationship between galangal leaf extract and larval death. From 93 ml of galangal leaf extract, a p-value coefficient of 0.06 was obtained, where the p-value <0.05 means the relationship between galangal leaf extract and larval death. From 94 ml of galangal leaf extract, a p-value coefficient of 0.00 was obtained, where the p-value <0.05 means the relationship between galangal leaf extract and larval death. It is hoped that the public can use galangal leaf solution in breeding places for Culex sp mosquitoes such as water reservoirs, used tires, etc. Providing information to the public in the form of posters or brochures containing the benefits of kemagi leaf extract which can be used as a vegetable insecticide in an effort to control the Aedes aegypti mosquito population.
