Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has shown a downward trend, allowing for limited face-to-face learning. The purpose of writing the article is to analyze the concept of limited face-to-face learning and the management of its implementation. The method used is a qualitative research method with the type of library research (library research). The result is that the concept of implementing face-to-face learning (PTM) is limited to the Covid-19 pandemic, which is a learning model carried out in educational institutions face-to-face which is limited to the number of students, a number of meetings, meeting hours and subject matter with terms and conditions that have been set. The management of the implementation of face-to-face learning is limited, namely by careful planning, proper organization, effective and efficient implementation, as well as intense supervision by monitoring, having evaluation instruments, and reporting. It is hoped that through this article the implementation of limited face-to-face learning can be carried out in accordance with expectations, and is able to provide suggestions for improvement.

Abstract

Character building in students can be done through a variety of subjects delivered by the teacher. This qualitative research using a case study describes the dolanan song in Javanese language subjects which is used to shape the character of students at MI Miftahul Huda Papungan 01 Blitar. The findings in this study, among others: First, the dolanan song functions as a medium to convey moral values ​​to students, such as obedience to religious teachings, love for the homeland and nation, togetherness, cooperation, and others; Second, there are dolanan songs that contain educative value and vice versa, a teacher must choose dolanan songs that contain educational values ​​for students; Third, several songs that can be found in this research, among others: Cublak-Cublak Suweng, Menthog-Menthog, Kidang Talun, Tikus Buntung, Gotri, and others; Fourth, most students feel happy and excited when singing the dolanan song because the song can be sung while playing (dolanan). Dolanan songs can also be used as an alternative to relieve tension in students when they are bored with thinking activities.

Abstract

This study aims to find out about improving English language skills through the Integrated Task Based Learning method for vocational students. Based on the research objectives, the method in this study uses qualitative research methods with a literature review approach. The stages of the research carried out were the collection of articles and journals, reduction and summary of articles, discussion, and conclusions. Sources of research data are articles and related journals that have the same topic. The results of the study indicate that the ability to speak English is very important to be learned and mastered by vocational students. Improving their ability to speak English can be done through the ITBL method because it is very useful to prepare them to enter the world of work.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is increase students' activities and the result of learning using Learning Cycle 5E with PowerPoint and use WhatsApp Group for discussion and Google Classroom for assignments. This research is an Action Research using a mixed methods approach with quantitative and qualitative analysis. Use the model by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart, has 4 activities in each cycle, are planning, action, observation, and reflection. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Nganjuk. The research subjects were 36 students of class X-TKJ-2. The object of research is student activities and the result of learning. The data collection techniques were carried out by using test and non-test. The test is done by giving assignments at the end of the cycle. While non-test is observations by students when learning to dare. Data analysis is presented in the form of tables and graphs, with qualitative data analysis in the form of words or symbols and quantitative data analysis in numbers.The results of student activities in the pre-cycle is 33%, the first cycle increased by 10%, the score was 43%, in Cycle II is increased by 37%, the score was 80%, beyond 75%, and has high criteria. For the result of learning in the pre-cycle the percentage of student learning is 28%, in Cycle I it is 36%, Cycle II increases to 83% of students who have scores above the KKM. The conclusion is that PowerPoint with Learning Cycle 5E can improve student learning activities and the result of learning.

Abstract

Distance Learning, especially PAI subjects which are carried out online or online. Indirectly this change in learning methods resulted in the effectiveness of learning and learning outcomes. Therefore, researchers observe how important the role of motivation for students in carrying out learning is, with the hope that learning effectiveness can continue to be carried out optimally if learning motivation is also considered good. The results of the instrument validation analysis using the product moment correlation formula with a significance level of 0.05 indicate that the variable x has 30 statement items, 15 valid items and 15 invalid items, while the y variable has 30 statement items with 18 valid items. and 12 valid items. . The value of the reliability coefficient with an rtable of 0.022 obtained a variable x 0.327 and a variable y 0.362. The score of respondents' questionnaire answers was 78 children on the x variable (distance learning effectiveness) of 87.6% and the y variable (Student Learning Motivation) of 85.7%. The results of hypothesis testing were obtained with rcount with a correlation coefficient of -0.082. This value is in the interval 0.00 – 0.199, namely between the x variable (distance learning effectiveness) and the y variable (student learning motivation) with a very low correlation. The percentage of the relationship is 0.007 which means that the variable x (distance learning effectiveness) to the variable y (student learning motivation) is influenced by the variable x by 72.25% and the remaining 27.75% is influenced by other factors outside the variable x. (distance learning effectiveness). far). The value of Fcount = 0.557 while Ftable with df1 = k – 1 (2 – 1 = 1) and df2 = n – 2 = 78 – 2 = 76 with an error rate of 5% then the value of Ftable is 3.978 if fcount > ftable then Ha is accepted and Ho rejected. Meanwhile, if Fcount < Ftable, then Ha is rejected and Ho is accepted. Based on the comparison of the values ​​above, Fcount > Ftable, it can be concluded that Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected, meaning that there is no significant effect between the x variable (distance learning effectiveness) on the y variable (student learning motivation).

Abstract

This research was conducted through observation and interview techniques, data processing techniques by examining the data obtained, reviewing the data in depth and drawing conclusions, data analysis techniques by adjusting the statements put forward by respondents to the problems studied. The results of the research that the authors get are the activities that the school does in implementing moral education for students at SDN 10 Sungai Pasak, East Pariaman District, all students take part in all activities carried out by the school in order to foster student morals. The school's actions against students who commit violations at SDN 10 Sungai Pasak, East Pariaman District are calling students with problems, asking students' habits, being given directions, being given advice, giving educational punishments, and calling parents of students. Supporting factors for policy makers in implementing moral education are the existence of qualified teachers, extracurricular activities for Islamic religious education outside school hours and competitions. The barrier factors for policy makers in implementing moral education are environmental factors where students live, the magnitude of the influence of technology, the lack of learning time and the lack of religious books for student reading.

Abstract

English is an international language and often this language is used as a second language in several countries. Coupled with the current developments, everyone must be able to master English fluently in order to be able to compete with the outside world or compete globally so that English is seen as a unifying tool nation and has an important role in life, especially in education. On the other hand, teaching English in Indonesia has been practiced since the Dutch colonial era until now. The purpose of writing this article is to explain the urgency of English. in the curriculum in Indonesia in order to prepare human resources that are globally competitive. The results of the information found that the use of English in the curriculum in Indonesia is still not implemented at all levels of education,learning English is only limited to students understanding "reading, listening, and writing, and speaking". However, students still have difficulty speaking using English because not as a second national language and what we need to know is the challenge of globalization which demands that our society understands English. Abstract

The main objective is to determine the students' conceptual understanding ability in terms of cognitive style. The type of research used is a qualitative research conducted at UPT SPF SMPN 49 Makassar. Research subjects as many as 4 people who were selected each 2 FD and 2 FI. The data collection technique used GEFT test, concept understanding ability test and interview. The instruments used were first validated by two experts. The data collected were analyzed by descriptive and qualitative analysis through the stages that include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Test the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The results of this study conclude that there are differences in the ability to understand concepts of students with FI and FD cognitive styles with the description: (1) the ability to understand concepts of students with field dependent cognitive style (FD) fulfills the three indicators of giving examples and not examples of a concept, presenting concepts in various ways. form of mathematical representation, and apply concepts into problem solving, (2) The ability to understand concepts of students with field independent cognitive style (FI) fulfills the four indicators restating a concept, giving examples and not examples of a concept, presenting concepts in various forms of mathematical representation, and apply concepts to problem solving.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of online-based Project Based Learning in the Arabic-Malay Script Course in Semester V of the Indonesian Literature Study Program, FKIP, Jambi University. The method used is an action research method. Sources of data in the form of stimulus and student responses in learning. The results of the study concluded that the implementation of PJBL in the Malay Arabic Script course had been carried out well. This is evidenced by the students' awareness of the importance of the Malay Arabic script.

Abstract

Forming the independent character of students is not an easy job, where students who are accustomed to being in the cradle of their parents will tend to be spoiled and lazy when they have to face different realities in pesantren life, so good curriculum management is needed to grow their independent character. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic boarding school curriculum management, and efforts to form the independent character of students in the Daarus Sholah Islamic boarding school, Kampung Kajang, South Sangatta. This research applies qualitative research with descriptive research type, where the data obtained is data collected in the form of descriptions, and illustrations. The result is that pesantren curriculum management cannot be separated from the management function known as POAC, namely planning, organizing, actuating, controlling, where the four functions were popularized with the terms planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. These four functions have been carried out at the Darus Sholah Very South Islamic boarding school. Furthermore, in an effort to form the independent character of students at the Daarus Sholah Islamic Boarding School, it is carried out with fish farming and agriculture programs as well as habituation of students in carrying out all their own activities of course accompanied by strict supervision from the boarding school caregivers. The implication is that this independent character is expected to be a provision for the students when the students are no longer in the boarding school environment and are no longer in the family environment when they are adults.
