Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to produce scientific approach-based physics learning material in magnetic field topic, describe it’s validity, practicality, and effectiveness to improve students’ critical thinking skill. The development procedures of the research employed Nieveen’s research design which consisted of three stages, namely preliminary research, prototyping stage, and assessement stage. The instruments used in this research were validation sheet, observation sheet, and critical thinking test. Based on the results of the data analysis concluded: (1) the validity of scientific approach-based physics learning material was at very valid category with an average score of expert validation was 3.47 and average score of user validation was 3.67, (2) the practicality of scientific approach-based physics learning material was in very high category, (3) the effectiveness of scientific approach-based physics learning material to improve students’ critical thinking skill showed that the average of N-Gain score was 0.53 which was in the medium category, so the scientific approach-based physics learning material was effective in improving critical thinking skill.Key word: physics learning materials; scientific approach; magnetic field, critical thinking skill

Abstract

Abstract Local Wisdom-based module "Coffee Bean Processing" is a form of a fully packaged and systematic teaching material that contains the processing of coffee beans that are associated with temperature and heat material.This type of research is R&D (research and development) development research.The purpose of the study was to analyse the validity and effectiveness of the local wisdom-based module "coffee beans Processing".Module validation consists of a duat stage that is expert validation and user validation.The validation result of the local wisdom based module is 3.58 and the user validation result of 3.78 with the category is very valid.The effectiveness of modules is calculated from cognitive learning outcomes and student learning activities.If the review of the N-gain score, the effective value of the local wisdom-based "coffee beans processing" effectiveness rate is 0.70 and belongs to the high category. Abstract

The problem solving laboratory model was a learning model that can train students in solving problems of physics concepts which is one component in training students' critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of Model Problem Solving Laboratory on students' critical thinking skills in Islamic Senior High School 2 Banyuwangi. This type of research was experimental research. Determination of the place of research using the purposive sampling area technique. The sample of this study was class X MIPA 1 and X MIPA 5. The design of this study used the Posttest-Only Control Group Design. Data collection techniques in this study were post-tests conducted at the end of the study. The Independent Sample T-Test test with the help of SPSS-23 was used as a method of analyzing critical thinking skills. The post-test average value of the critical thinking of the control class was 49.02, while the experimental class value was 65.25. Based on the results of data analysis of students' critical thinking skills using the independent sample t-test, concluded that there was an influence of the Learning Model Problem Solving Laboratory on Students' Critical Thinking Ability on physics at Islamic Senior High School 2 Banyuwangi..Key word: critical thinking skills, physics learning, problem solving laboratory.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research was to find out how energy literacy skills in high school students while using the Collaborative Creativity (CC) learning model. This type of research is descriptive research. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. Place of research in Mumbulsari 1 Public High School. The class used is class X MIPA 3 using Collaborative Creativity (CC) learning model and class X MIPA 2 using conventional models commonly used by teachers. The research instruments were observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. Analysis of research data for energy literacy skills is by using the formula for energy literacy scoring which will then be interpreted into guidelines that will be the criteria for students' energy literacy abilities. Based on the results of the analysis it can be said that the energy literacy ability of high school students while using the Collaborative Creativity (CC) learning model is good.Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran, Collaborative Creativity (CC), Literasi Energi

Abstract

This research aimed to: 1) examined the effect of students worksheet (LKS) based on inquiry guidance along with physicpoly media (physics monopoly) at optical instrument material concerning with the learning outcomes of the students, and 2) examined the effect of students worksheet (LKS) based on inquiri guidance along with physicpoly media (physics monopoly) at optical instrument material concerning with the interest of the students. This research was experimental research that use research pattern post-test only control group design. The participants of this research were 11th grade science students at SMAN 1 Arjasa on the academic year 2018/2019. The sample was taken by cluster random sampling which determines XI IPA 3 class as experimental group and XI IPA 2 class as a control group. The data analysis technique was using independent sample T-test by SPSS program. The result of the independent sample t-test is the score learning outcomes and learning interest was different between the experimental class and the control class. The result shows that students worksheet (LKS) based on inquiry guidance was significantly influence concerning to the learning outcomes of the students. Whereas the analysis outcome on the learning interest of the students worksheet (LKS) based on inquiri guidance along with physicpoly media (physics monopoly) was not significantly influence concerning with learning interest of the students.Key Word: guided inquiry model, learning outcomes, learning interest, physicspoly

Abstract

AbstractThe guided inquiry learning model accompanied by scaffolding prompting questioning is learning that directs the learning process in problem solving and makes students active in solving problems through instructions from scaffolding. The purpose of this research was to examine the effect of guided inquiry learning models accompanied by scaffolding prompting questioning of students' science process skills for straight-motion material in high school. This type of research an experimental research conducted at Senior High School Pakusari in the X grade students in the even semester 2018/2019 academic year. Data collection techniques used in the research were documentation and tests. Data analysis using the independent sample t-test test with the help of SPSS 23. The results of the research showed that there was significant differences between the science process skills of students in the experimental class and the control class. The conclusion of this research was guided inquiry learning model accompanied by scaffolding prompting questioning has a significant effect on students' science process skills in physics learning for straight-motion material in high school.Key word: guided inquiry, scaffolding prompting questioning, science process skills.

Abstract

Physics was considered a difficult subject and less attractive to students. Students tend to be less active in the learning process in classroom, so the values obtained are relatively low. This is influenced by several factors, one of which is the learning media used by teacher in delivering less innovative material. Therefore, there is a need for creative and innovative learning media. Through Sparkol VideoScribe learning media the subject matter is explained images, animations and sounds which are systematically presented in compact videos, so that they are expected to improve student learning outcomes. This type of research was experimental with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The subjects research is one of the Vocational Schools in Jember. Data acquisition techniques through test, observation, interview and documentation. The data analysis technique used Independent Sample T-Test with SPSS 23 and student response questionnaire sheets. Based on results and discussion the conclusions are as follows: 1) There is a significant influence Sparkol VideoScribe based physics learning media on student learning outcomes; 2) Sparkol VideoScribe based physics learning media effectively used in learning process and 3) students' responses to Sparkol VideoScribe based physics learning media can be categorized as positive or well used in classroom learning.Keywords : Physics Learning, Sparkol VideoScribe, effectively, students respon

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to calculate the binding energy and disintegration energy with the binding energy liquid drop model approach. This research is modeling research. The steps: 1) prepare supporting materials for research on stability and elements in the radioactive process; 2) reviewing materials that have been obtained previously; 3) do calculation simulation; 4) analyze and discuss the results of calculations; 5) conclude the results of the study. The calculation results show that the element has the largest binding energy of 1805,1 MeV and has the smallest binding energy per nucleon that is equal to 7,584 MeV, while the resulting child nuclide has the smallest binding energy of 1612,2747 MeV and has the largest binding energy per nucleon of 7,8266 MeV, so that the binding energy has a decreased graph while the binding energy per nucleon has a rising graph. The biggest disintegration energy in the uranium series decay process occurs at decay of alpha to be which is equal to 5,1037 MeV while the smallest disintegration energy occurs at beta decay becomes which is equal to -0,2639 MeV. Abstract

Abstract This research was a development research to produce development products in the form of worksheets based on a scientific approach assisted by a virtual laboratory to train students' critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study is to test the validity of LKS and students' critical thinking skills. This research development model uses Nieveen (2006) which consists of three stages, namely preliminary research, prototyping stage, and stage assessment. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets and tests of critical thinking skills. Respondents of this study were students of class XI MIPA 3 of SMA 4 Jember with a total of 36 students. Based on the results of expert validation analysis the percentage was 81.67% with a very valid category and user validation obtained a percentage of 95.31% with a very valid category. The results of the data analysis of each indicator the critical thinking ability suggests that the critical thinking ability of grade XI students in MIPA 3 belongs to good category. The conclusion of this study was that the development of worksheets based on a virtual laboratory assisted scientific approach can improve students' critical thinking skills. Abstract

Abstract Given the importance of train students to turn think cognitive and thinking criticial in cultivate the information the have learning media who used to assist student in processes information through slideshow presentation. The purpose of this research is described though process profile students in processes information posted learning of media physics slide presentation. The methodology used is the the methodology naturalistic qualitative, where researchers acting as an instrument major obtain information from the subject of study sub focus on research conducted on natural conditions (Natural Setting), it is neither condition. This research result indicates that thought proces profile students in processes information posted media learning physics slide presentation can produce thought process in assimilation students and accommodation. This research it can be concluded that slide presentation is not effective because in the use of slide presentation has to be in accordance with matter physics, the implications of these procesess misconception remedation physics research is still difficult done if had a slide presentation because the thought process in acommodation in this research would look like if the experiments that were put into slide presentation.
