Abstract

This is a development research that aims to evolve a learning instruments discovery learning model  based on the SKKNI on volumetric analysis subject that are valid, practical, and effective. The development model used in this study refers to the 4D, which consists of the defining, design, development, and dissemination. The learning instruments developed are RPP, LKPD, Student Learning Materials, and THB. The SKKNI-based discovery learning model volumetric learning device that was developed was then validated by two experts. After validation, a learning device trial is then conducted at the SMK-SMAK Makassar in class XI E with a total of 35 students. The results of the study indicate that the SKKNI-based discovery learning model developed after being validated was very accurate (V = 3.75). The learning device is stated to be practical because the practicality test related to: (1) the implementation of the learning device is in the fully implemented category (M = 1.86) included in the category (1.5 ≤ M ≤ 2.0), (2) the teacher gave a very positive response with a percentage of 93.49%, and (3) the students gave a very positive response with a percentage of 91.93%. This learning device also meets the effectiveness criteria, which are reviewed through learning outcomes with a classical percentage of completeness 94.00%. Therefore, the results of the study indicate that the developed learning device products meet valid, practical, and effective criteria.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) ada tidaknya pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan  model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap pemahaman konsep peserta didik; (2) ada tidaknya pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan  model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik; (3) ada tidaknya pengaruh kemampuan awal tinggi dan rendah terhadap pemahaman konsep peserta didik; (4) ada tidaknya pengaruh kemampuan awal tinggi dan rendah terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik; (5) ada tidaknya interaksi antara model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan model pembelajaran discovery learning dengan kemampuan awal tinggi dan rendah terhadap pemahaman konsep peserta didik; (6) ada tidaknya interaksi antara model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan model pembelajaran discovery learning dengan kemampuan awal tinggi dan rendah terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi eksperiment) dengan desain faktorial 2x2. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Maniangpajo. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan random sampling dan kelas yang terpilih adalah kelas X.2 dan kelas X.3. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan program SPSS menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) ada pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan model pembelajaran discovery learning  terhadap pemahaman konsep peserta didik; (2) ada pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan model pembelajaran discovery learning  terhadap motivai belajar peserta didik; (3) ada pengaruh kemampuan awal tinggi dan rendah terhadap pemahaman konsep peserta didik; (4) ada pengaruh kemampuan awal tinggi dan rendah terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik; (5) tidak ada interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan kemampuan awal terhadap pemahaman konsep peserta didik; (6) tidak ada interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan kemampuan awal terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik.Kata Kunci: Inkuiri Terbimbing, Discovery Learning, Pemahaman Konsep, Motivasi Belajar.

Abstract

This study is a development research, which aims at developing learning tools using Schoology to enhance learning motivation of students on chemical equilibrium subject which is valid, practical and effective to be applied. The development model used in this study referred to Hannafin & Peck’s development model which consisted  of need assessment, design, development and implementation. The learning tools using Schoology which had been developed; then, it was validated by two experts. After the validation, the tryout of the learning tools using Schoology was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Polewali Mandar in grade XI MIPA 4 with the total of 30 students. The result of the study reveals that the learning tools using Schoology development which had been validated shows the mean score of 3.40 which is in valid criteria. The learning tools using Schoology is stated as practical and effective because the practical test which related to: (1) the implementation of learning tools using Schoology is in M = 1.85 in the category of (1.5 ≤ M ≤ 2.0) meaning that the aspect and criteria observed in the implementation of learning tools using Schoology is in entirely implemented category, (2) teachers gave a very positive response on the learning tools using Schoology by 100%, and (3) the students gave a very positive response on the learning tools using Schoology by 85.49%. The learning tools has met effective criteria with the following result: (1) the enhancement of learning motivation of students is from 72.89% to 84.28%, (2) the learning activity of students with the mean score 91.33 is in very active category, and (3) the learning result of students has met effective criteria (≥80%) with the mean percentage of 85.60% which overall is stated as it has met the minimal completeness criteria of the subject.

Abstract

This research used descriptive method with quantitative approach. This study aims to determine the life skills of chemistry students in the Food Chemistry based on chemo- entrepreneurship approach. The subjects in this study were chemistry students in the 5th semester of Mathematics and Natural Science Faculty State University of Makassar, that are 114 students. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires, observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that aspects of life skills obtained were generic life skills consisting of personal skills and social skills and specific life skills consisting of academic skills and vocational skills. As for each skill the results obtained are personal skills with 78.43 in the good category, social skills with 84.48 in the excellent category, academic skills with 75.00 in the good category, and vocational skills with 74.14 in the good category.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the influence of interaction instructional model and learning style to critical thinking ability of students in class X SMK Negeri 2 Watampone in electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution. The type of research is quasi-experimental using factorial design 2x3. Population of the research is all of studentsin class X SMK Negeri 2 Watampone school year 2014/2015 consist of 9 class, which amounted to 288 students. The sample is taken by twice of purposive sampling, and the selected classesis X TITL 1 (electric installation technique) and X TITL 2. The Hypothesis test is conducted by SPSS 20 Program using two way Anova. The results of descriptive statistic are average critical thinking ability that students taught using inquiry learning model and cooperative tipe articulation learning are 75.78 and 66.40. Average score critical thinking ability of learners who have learning styles kinethetic, visual and auditory are 73.34, 65.00 and 63.15. The results of this study show that (1) There is no  influence of instructional model to critical thinking abilityof students in class X SMK Negeri 2 Watampone in electrolyte and non electrolyte solution, (2) There is no influence of visual learning style, auditory and kinesthetic toward the critical thinking abilityof students in class X SMK Negeri 2 Watampone in electrolyte and non electrolyte solution, (3) There is an interaction between the instructional model and learningstyles in influencing the critical thinking ability of students in class X SMK Negeri 2 Watampone in electrolyte and non electrolyte solution. Tukey HSD test result show that critical thinking ability of learners who have learning styles kinesthetic higher than the learners who have visual and auditory learning styles, and than critical thinking ability of learners who have learning styles visual and auditory learning style is not different.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran yang valid, praktis, dan efektif; 2) mengetahui hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Makassar tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 setelah digunakan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri terbimbing. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model Thiagarajan (Model 4-D)  dan uji coba perangkat pembelajaran yang  meliputi: RPP, LKPD, dan THB dilaksanakan  pada peserta didik kelas XI IPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Makassar  dengan jumlah 34 orang. Hasil uji coba perangkat dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria sangat valid, praktis dan efektif  digunakan. Kriteria sangat valid diperolah dari nilai rata-rata total keseluruhan aspek dari  RPP sebesar 3,86, LKPD sebesar 3,84, dan THB sebesar 3,81. Kriteria praktis diperoleh dari nilai rata-rata total keseluruhan aspek keterlaksanaan perangkat pembelajaran sebesar 1,68 dengan kategori terlaksana seluruhnya . Kriteria efektif dalam penelitian ini dilihat dari peningkatan pretest-posttest. Hal ini didukung oleh hasil perhitungan N- gain. Kata kunci  : Pengembangan Perangkat, Model Inkuiri Terbimbing, Hasil Belajar   ABSTRACTThe study aims at (1) producing learning device which is valid, practical, and effective, (2) discovering the learning of grade XI at SMAN 1 Makassar of academic year 2018/2019 after the guided inquiri based learning device being used. The type of this study was development research which referred to Thiagarajan (4-d Model) and the test of learning device which covered RPP, LKPD and THB which implemented to grade XI IPA 4 students at SMAN 1 Makassar with the total of 34 students.  The result of the study reveals that the learning device developed has met the criteria of very valid, practical and effective to be applied. The very valid criteria are obtained from the average of the total aspects from RPP 3,86, LKPD 3,84 to beHasil uji coba perangkat dalam THB 3,81. The practical criterion is obtained from the average of the total aspects of learning device implementation by 1,68 with entirely implemented category. The effective criteria are based on the improvement of pretest and posttest. Is the supported by the result of N-Gain. Keywords: Development of device, guided inquiry model, learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study is development research, which aims at developing and produce IPA learning tools for SMP based on discovery learning in acidic solution, base and salt. The development model used in research to develop discovery learning based learning tools is the 4-D model by Thiagarajan. The limited test of discovery learning-based learning devices was conducted at SMPN 36 Makassar. The research subject was grade VII IPA with 24 students. Data collection techniques are non-test techniques and test techniques. The results of the study reval that (1) the process of learbing tools development utilizes 4-D model consists of 4 stages, namely (a) defining stage (define), (b) the designing stage (design), (c) the development stage (develop), and (d) the dissemination stage (desseminate). (2) the learning tools are valid, practical and effective. The learning tools are stated as practicial because the learning tools implementation is in entirely implemented category, the teacher’s response on learning tools is in very positive category. The learning tools are effective because it has met effectiveness criteria with the teacher's result in learning management is in very high category, the student’s activity is in learning management is in very good category, the student’s activity is in learning management is in very positive category, the results of students’ critical thinking skills has the average of 85.17 with classical completencess 85.95%, the improvment of critical thinking skills based on the N-gain test of 0.82 with high criteria, the learning outcomes has the average of 84.07 with a classical completeness 85.33%, whereas, the improvement in learning outcomes based on the N-gain test is 0.86 with high criteria.

Abstract

This study is a development research that aims to develop problem-based e-LKPD on acid and base solutions which is valid, practical, and effective to be used to improve learning outcomes. The development model used in this study referred to the 4-D development model, which consisted of the defining stage, the design stage, the development stage, and the dissemination stage. The one developed was a problem-based electronic student’s worksheet (LKPD). The problem-based e-LKPD developed was then validated by two experts. After validation, a trial was conducted at SMKN 9 Jeneponto in grade X TKJ with a total of 22 students. The results show that the resulting e-LKPD is valid with an average validity value of 3.40 with valid criteria. The practicality test includes: (1) analysis of the teacher's response, the teacher gave a very positive response with an average value of 3.75 which means it is practical and not revised, (2) analysis of students’ responses, students gave a positive response with a percentage of 81.80 very responsive. This problem-based E-LKPD also meets the effectiveness criteria with learning outcomes meeting the effective criteria where the N-Gain of 0.64 increases in learning outcomes which is in moderate category, the percentage of completeness is 81.82% which is in good category.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) terintegrasi model pembelajaran generatif terhadap keterampilan proses sains dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X SMAS Makassar Raya pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit. Menggunakan desain Pretest –Postest Control-Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X SMAS Makassar Raya. Sampel diperoleh secara random sampling dan terpilih kelas XA IPA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XB IPA sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian diperoleh deskripsi rata-rata keterampilan proses sains kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol masing-masing adalah 69,6 dengan standar deviasi 13,24 dan 50,8 dengan standar deviasi 13,1. Rata-rata nilai N-gain indikator keterampilan proses sains sebesar 0,622 dan 0,444 berada pada kategori sedang. Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) terintegrasi model pembelajaran generatif terhadap keterampilan proses sains dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X SMAS Makassar Raya pada materi  larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit.Kata kunci: STAD teintegrasi generatif, keterampilan proses sains, hasil belajar, elektrolit dan non elektrolit.ABSTRACTThis study is a study that aims to determine the use of STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) cooperative learning models integrated generative learning models on the process and learning outcomes of students of class X SMAS Makassar Raya on electrolyte and non-electrolyte material Pretest – Post Control research design Group Design. The population in this study were all students of class X SMAS Makassar Raya consisting of 2 classes. sample is done randomly and class XA IPA as the experimental class and class XB IPA as the control class. The results obtained by the description of the average process performance of the experimental class and control class is 69.6 with a standard deviation of 13.24 and  0,622 with standard deviation 13.10. the average N-gain indicator of the process performance 0.622  and 0.444 in the medium category. The agreed matters included the use of STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) cooperative learning models integrated with the generative learning model on the learning process and results of students of class X of SMAS Makassar Raya on electrolyte and non-electrolyte materials.Keywords: STAD integrated generative, process skills, learning outcomes, electrolytes and non-electrolytes

Abstract

This study aims to increase learning motivation and results student learning through the application of the PBL learning model combined with the NHT strategy on the subject of stoichiometry at MAN 1 Pekanbaru. The population in this study is all students of class X MIA, amounting to four classes. Normality test use Liliefors test which aims to see whether the data used have a normal distribution and homogeneity test using the variance similarity test and test average similarity which aims to see whether the sample used is already homogeneous. Sampling is done by the cluster random sampling method obtained by two classes namely class X MIA 1 as a control class and class X MIA 4 as an experimental class. The results of testing the hypothesis using the t-test showed that there are significant differences between the control class and the experimental class on learning motivation and learning outcomes. Where is learning motivation and results learning experimental class students higher than students in the class control. Determination of the relationship of learning motivation to student learning outcomes done with a person correlation test that shows the existence of a relationship between learning motivation towards learning outcomes of students in the class applied PBL learning models combined NHT strategies on the subject of stoichiometry at MAN 1 Pekanbaru with a strong positive correlation category.
