Abstract

This study aims to know the difference from application of conventional method oral models that compared to Somatic, Auditory, Visual, dan Intellectual (SAVI) models in basic competiences learning about office communication of Grade X OTKP SMKN 10 Surabaya students. This kind of study is quasi experimental design with non-equivalent control group design.. The sample that used are students of class X OTKP 3 as a control class and class X OTKP 4 as an experimental class. Result of the analysist, found significant difference from experimental class study result where have 28,06 (gain score) that obtained from 78,06 (mean of postest) that reduced by 50 (mean of pretest). While for control class have 20,42 (gain score) that obtained from 58,18 (mean of postest) reduced by 47,78 (mean of pretest).  Then, based on the t-test on the psychomotor values of students, it was obtained that tcount was 4,498 with a significance level of 00 (0.00) and a confidence level of 95% α = 0.05 with df = N-2 = 70, then a ttable = 1.994 was obtained. It can be concluded from the results of the t-test that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus it was concluded that the difference after being applied Somatic, Auditory, Visual, and Intellectual (SAVI) was an increase in students results and speaking skills of class X OTKP students on the basic competiences learning about office communication

Abstract

This research development od student activity sheets aims to(1) describe the results of developing students scientific approach based sheets on general administration subjects, (2) describe the feasibility of developed students scientific approach on the subject, (3) describe the learner response to the application development studensts scientific approach that has been developed on the subjects. In general Administration subjects for class X OTKP 1 students at SMK N 1 Jombang. This research is a development uses R&D (the research and development) research with 4-D model consisting of  4 stages, namely defining, designing, development and distributing. this research was conducted at 20 learners in class X OTKP 1 at in SMK Negeri 1 Jombang, the results of the validation of the LKPDoverall score of 86%. The validation from material expersts score is 85%. The  validation score of the linguist is 80 % and the validation of the graphic expert is 94% with very strong interpretation. So it can be conluded that the development students research scientific approach based sheets on general Administration subject  even semester at SMK Negeri 1 Jombang is declared fit to be used as teaching materials.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kegiatan pembelajaran daring di rumah peserta didik sebagai upaya mendukung program pemerintah yaitu study from home selama adanya pandemik covid 19 serta tanggapan peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran daring selama sekolah masih diliburkan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan, sehingga pengumpulan informasi serta data didapatkan dengan teknik dokumentasi yaitu pencarian data mengenai hal-hal yang relevan dari berbagai sumber yang ada di perpustakaan seperti buku, majalah, berita, ataupun dokumen lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran daring yang dilakukan dirumah masing-masing membuat peserta didik lebih mandiri dan menciptakan motivasi untuk belajar. Selain itu pembelajaran daring menjadi salah satu keberhasilan untuk menciptakan perilaku social distancing sehingga meminimalisir munculnya keramaian yang dianggap dapat berpotensi semakin menyebarnya covid 19 di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

This article describes a study of cooperative learning models with the type of make a match that leads to the concept of student understanding, especially in the matter of commercial letters. Trading letters are basic competencies in correspondence subjects. Where in the material about this commercial letter, there is considerable material ranging from understanding, characteristics, functions, and types of commercial letters to the procedure for making letters. But in reality, one of the main problems in learning commercial letters is the low understanding of the concept of commercial letters; this is because teachers on subjects have not been able to apply learning models that are in accordance with the material that has been delivered so that students feel bored and sleepy when receiving monotonous material. With this phenomenon, the researcher has an alternative in dealing with these problems by using a make a match type of cooperative learning model in which this model students can learn and play to understand the concepts of the material delivered by the teacher, games made by matching question cards and answer cards so that students are assigned looking for partners in turn. This article discusses based on the scope starting from the understanding of the learning model, the function of the learning model, the characteristics of the learning model, then discusses the understanding of the cooperative learning model and the objectives of the cooperative learning model further describing the make a match starting from the understanding, objectives, advantages, and disadvantages along with the syntax of the make a match learning model and the last result and discussion of the analysis cooperative learning models with the type of make a match as an effort to increase understanding of  the concept of commercial letters.

Abstract

This development research aims to describe the process of developing Audio Visual learning media assisted by Adobe Flash and Android in Basic Competence in Managing Electronic Archives for Class X OTKP 1 SMK NEGERI 2 Blitar, analyzing the feasibility of developed learning media and analyzing students' responses to learning media that have been developed. This research uses research and development methods and uses the 4-D development model. The sample used for the limited trial was 20 students in class X OTKP 1 SMK NEGERI 2 Blitar. The data collection instruments used material expert validation sheets, media expert validation sheets and student response sheets. All validation sheets and student response sheets use a Likert scale. The product produced in this research development is in the form of android based audio visual learning media which contains material, voice narration, multiple choice questions with automatic assessment, and practical assignments to store records electronically in accordance with the basic competencies in managing electronic records. The results of the assessment by material validation experts were 86% with "very proper" interpretations, and media experts by 81% with "very decent" interpretations. assessment obtained from trials is limited to students by 85% with the interpretation "very feasible". These results indicate that the audio visual learning media assisted by Adobe Flash and Android on the basic competence of Managing Electronic Archives is declared suitable for use in the learning process in class X OTKP 1 SMK NEGERI 2 Blitar.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the Project-Based Learning model and analyze the Project-Based Learning model to the learning outcomes of the X-Grade OTKP subjects in SMKN 2 Tuban. This type of research is experimental research using quasi-experimental. The population in this study were class X OTKP 1, class X OTKP 2, class X OTKP 3, and class X OTKP 4 as many as 144 students, while the sample in this study was class X OTKP 1 and class X OTKP 2 as many as 72 students each each number of students 36. The research instrument consisted of tests conducted with 20 items. Data analysis techniques include: 1) item analysis in accordance with the validity test, reliability test, difficulty level test, and distinguishing power test; 2) normality test; 3) homogeneity test, and 4) hypothesis testing. The results showed that the results of the test analysis showed Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted with a significance level of 0.00 which was less than 0.05. From this it can be seen that there is an effect of the Project Based Learning model on learning outcomes subject Record Management for class X student OTKP SMKN 2 Tuban.

Abstract

This article is aimed to analyze how the discovery learning model can improve students understanding of office layout concepts. Basic competence regarding office layout is aimed for students to identify and formulate office layout problems through collecting the data, processing the data, and communicating the concepts of office layout. In the implementation of office layout learning, material delivered thorugh a direct learning model with lecture method is difficult to understand and less stimulating the students activity and ability. The direct learning model with lecture method is not appropriate with the provision of the current curriculum, 2013 curriculum in 2017 revision which focuses on student centered learning. œBased on the current curriculum provision, learning model that focuses on the students themselves in the learning process is necessary to apply in order to stimulate the students activeness, abilities, and interests in improving the understanding of concept in the teaching and learning process. The discovery learning model is the proper model to improve understanding of office layout concept, œbecause the model aims to stimulate the students to be more active in learning activities to develop creativity and ability to think rationally and critically in problem solving. The basic competency regarding office layout will be useful not only in the workplace but also useful for daily life. The type of this research is conceptual which proves that the discovery learning model is the right choice as an effort to improve the concept of office layout.

Abstract

Correspondence Subjects are one of the productive subjects that must be taken by SMK students (Vocational High Schools), especially vocational students in the field of expertise in OTKP (Office Management Automation) found in class X OTKP. This subject covers Basic Competencies in Applying Communication by Telephone in Indonesian. The implementation of learning conducted by the teacher to explain the material  using power point learning media, but the teacher has never makes variations of learning on the power point media and the teacher explains still using the lecture method. This causes students to tend to feel bored in learning that is too monotonous. In addition, results of  distribution of questionnaires to use of power point learning media used by teachers, namely 25% of students tend to feel bored in using power point media, 15% of students are not interested in power point media used by teachers, 15% of power point media used by the teacher is not easily understood by students, and 45% of students can understand the delivery of material using power point media from the teacher. This research was conducted with the aim to find out the results of developing Yugioh card game learning media! on the subject of correspondence at SMK Krian 2 Sidoarjo. So with the Yugioh! card game learning media can help the learning process is more interesting and make students motivated to better understand learning material. During the learning process students can play an active role, cooperate with each other, and can think critically. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D development model is namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. However, this research was only carried out at the design stage only due to limitations in this study. Based on the results of the study, at the stage of define carried out an analysis of the things needed in media develop, namely the early analysis, student analysis, task analysis, concept analysis, and specification of learning objectives. After defining, the design phase is carried out which is carried out several stages, namely the design of the material into learning media, the initial design of instructional media, determining the contents of the card and the design of the card, after the next design is carried out media printing. So it can be concluded the development of Yugioh! card game learning media can help the learning process more interesting and make students better understand the learning material.

Abstract

Organization is something container for actualize self and reach aims together as students. While that college student have task main that is learn. There college student Major Faculty  Economics of State University Surabaya in organization have achievement higher learning this interesting for reviewed. The aim of this research is to describe about students who active organization in Faculty Economics of State University Surabaya concerned with their role and status as student and member of its organization. This research uses a case study qualitative research method and using descriptive data analyzing technique. The research data was taken from primary data through interviews and secondary data from books, literature, articles, internet, and journals related to this study. The results showed that students became more confident, so as to improve learning achievement. This is shown by the results of the cumulative grade point average (GPA) which is very satisfying. In addition, by participating in student organization activities, students can improve soft skills in terms of engaging with other parties and can create a spirit of leadership.

Abstract

This development research was carried out with the aim to find out the process of developing teacher textbooks, the feasibility of teacher textbooks, and teacher responses to teacher textbooks based on a scientific approach to public relations subjects and protocol of odd semester XI OTKP at SMK YPM 5 Sukodono. The development model applied in this study is 4-D which consists of the defining stage, the design phase, the development phase, and the disseminate stage. The research instruments used included study sheets and validation of material experts, linguists, and graphic experts as well as teacher response questionnaire sheets using a rating scale that is the Likert scale. The results showed that the results of the assessment of the feasibility of teacher's textbooks from material experts amounted to 87.5% with a very strong category, the assessment of linguists amounted to 78.2% with a strong category, and the assessment of the graphic experts amounted to 98.2% with a very strong category. From the results of the validation obtained an average value of 88% in the category of interpretation is very strong, and the teacher's response of 81.87% in the category of interpretation is very strong. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the teaching textbooks are based on a scientific approach to the subjects of public relations and protocol protocol odd semester XI OTKP at SMK YPM 5 Sukodono declared worthy to be used as teaching material.
