Abstract

Social media is a forum that is familiar to the ears of the Indonesian people, especially in the process of using it to reach the general public in accessing basic needs and supporting the community's economy. As we know, more than one hundred million Indonesians currently access social media which is then used as a tool to reach the wider community. Of the many types of social media circulating according to data from Suara.com, Indonesians use Facebook more as a tool to support basic needs and the economy, as many as 140 million Indonesians access it, which puts us in second place in the world of people who access Facebook media. The current pandemic condition does not necessarily reduce access to social media, in fact, according to the data we found, access to the use of social media has increased, especially in supporting the community's economy. Of the many Facebook users who later attracted our attention to research and explore what later became the attraction of this application in the economic sector. The research that we do is field research (qualitative) with descriptive analysis method and service learning approach in order to obtain data according to the existing facts from the use of the media.

Abstract

Cultivation ability is determined by how farmers perceive their business, if they have a good perception, the management provided will also be better. When the research starts from July 2021 to February 2022, the informant selection technique used is non-probability sampling with a purposive selection of informants logic. Determination of key informants is done by taking informants from 4 Hamlets, the data analysis used is the Miles and Huberman Model. Breeders have a positive perception of the smoked salted egg program, a positive perception evidenced by the components and the perception process. Information taken is smoked salted egg center, smoked salted egg processing, and marketing. Farmers argue that this program can advance the village, farmers cannot retrieve information on organic feed.

Abstract

Garbage is one of the problems in Indonesia that can have a negative impact on the environment and public health. Environmental cleanliness is a shared responsibility, including children such as children who are still sitting in elementary education. It is necessary to give understanding and habituation from an early age so that they can become individuals who can maintain environmental cleanliness, starting from building the habit of disposing of waste in its place to being able to reuse waste that can still be used/reprocessed. Ecobricks are plastic bottles filled densely with non-biological waste, namely plastic. Ecobricks are a grassroots solution to plastic waste. Community service activities carried out by students of the Thematic KKN Disaster Resilient Village UPN Veterans East Java group 123 in Wotgalih Village, Yosowilangun District, Lumajang Regency involved students to process ecobrick waste. This community service uses a qualitative approach to the observation method. Collecting data through direct observation, participatory-observation, interviews and door prize distribution.

Abstract

Mayoritas penduduk di Desa Ambulu memiliki mata pencaharian sebagai petani dan peternak. Keterbatasan lahan setiap penduduk mengakibatkan masyarakat kesulitan dalam menambah mata pencaharian yang sesuai dengan potensi desa. Penerapan budikdamber sebagai pengembangan dari sistem Akuaponik diharapkan mampu menumbuhkan minat masyarakat Desa Ambulu dalam melakukan budidaya ikan dan sayuran dalam satu tempat. Sehingga hasil panen yang didapatkan berlimpah serta mencukupi kebutuhan gizi yang berasal dari ikan dan sayuran. Salah satu upaya untuk menumbuhkan minat masyarakat dalam budidaya ikan dan sayuran dalam satu tempat dengan cara melakukan sosialisasi dan praktik budikdamber yang dilakukan di salah satu rumah perangkat desa. Sosialisasi dilakukan dengan cara menyampaikan materi tentang hidroponik dan fungsi serta manfaat budikdamber yang diikuti oleh masyarakat Desa Ambulu dengan tujuan agar dapat mengisi waktu luang dan memanfaatkan keterbatasan lahan sempit menjadi efisien dan menguntungkan. Sosialisasi dilakukan dengan cara demonstrasi mengenai budikdamber. Hasil yang didapatkan dari program ini adalah adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat tentang budidaya ikan dalam ember (Budikdamber) serta adanya peningkatan penghasilan keluarga dengan memanfaatkan pekarangan rumah melalui budidaya ikan dan sayuran dalam satu tempat.

Abstract

Tanaman sawi merupakan salah satu tanaman utama yang ditanam di Kelurahan Sentul. Hal ini dikarenakan tanaman sawi memiliki berbagai manfaat untuk menjadi konsumsi keluarga. Sawi mampu sebagai sumber antioksidan, detoksifikasi tubuh, menjaga sistem imun tubuh, mengontrol kadar kolesterol, mampu menurunkan berat badan, dan mencegah kanker. Salah satu kelompok tani yang memproduksi tanaman sawi adalah Kelompok Wanita Tani Sawunggaling. Selain itu, kelompok wanita tani menginginkan adanya inovasi produk terhadap hasil sawi yang mereka panen. Hal ini disebabkan oleh anak-anak masyarakat Sentul yang sulit untuk mengonsumsi sayur. Selain itu, inovasi produk olahan sayur sawi juga mampu meningkatkan nilai jual tanaman sawi. Melihat adanya potensi tersebut, produk inovasi stik sawi Kelurahan Sentul sangat cocok untuk dikembangkan hingga menjadi sebuah potensi wirausaha baru. Metode yang diterapkan pada pemberdayaan kewirausahaan masyarakat melalui metode ESD. Metode ESD mampu memberikan kesadaran dan dorongan agar berpikir kreatif serta konstruktif. Metode ini diharapkan masyarakat mampu menghadapi tantangan global serta menciptakan masyarakat yang tangguh dan mandiri secara berkelanjutan. Adapun lokasi kegiatan dilakukan di Jl. Sawunggaling Kelurahan Sentul, Kecamatan Kepanjenkidul, Kota Blitar. Penelitian dilakukan mulai dari 23 Maret 2022 hingga tanggal 26 Maret 2022. Pelatihan yang diberikan oleh kelompok wanita tani meliputi pembuatan stik sawi, branding, dan pemasaran. Branding produk stik sawi dilakukan dengan membuat stiker kemasan dan foto produk. Adapun pelatihan pemasaran dilakukan dengan cara melakukan pelatihan promosi melalui Whatsapp business dan marketplace.

Abstract

Behind the modern technology in the economic field, there are still areas that are lagging behind or experiencing inequality. Such as in the Kramatagung Village area, Bantaran District, Probolinggo Regency. Many SME’s actors still market their products conventionally or from person to person because of the lack of knowledge about the use of the internet and its benefits. The proceeds from these sales are only sufficient to meet daily needs so that the development of SME’s businesses has not been able to increase the scale of production and add jobs. The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge and understanding of digital marketing to SME’s actors to improve the quality of resources and develop their business, so that SME’s actors can reach consumers more broadly. In the implementation of these community service activities, the methods used are observation, interviews, lectures, discussions, demonstrations and practice. After participating in the digital marketing socialization, it is hoped that SME’s actors can utilize information technology as much as possible to help those who want to develop their business and be able to compete globally with other SME’s actors and can be more active in digital marketing through social media and e-commerce applications to be able to enter the market and reach a wider range of customers. In addition, the progress of Kramatagung Village will be clearly seen when SME’s actors apply the methods we inform you and also the level of the economy in Kramatagung Village will experience significant changes with the digital marketing.

Abstract

Bades Village, Pasirian District, Lumajang Regency is a village whose area is located between two active mountains, namely Mount Semeru and Mount Lamongan and a coastline that stretches from west to east so that there is the potential for extreme waves and tsunamis. The geographical location of Bades Village causes the potential for several natural disaster threats such as tsunamis, landslides, and earthquakes. Therefore, disaster mitigation education is needed from an early age, especially for elementary school students. Disaster mitigation education can be done in several ways, one of which is using Educational Props (APE). The purpose of this devotion is to raise awareness and respond to the arrival of unpredictable disasters. So that these students are expected to have knowledge of pre-disaster mitigation and in times of disaster and can share their knowledge with the community. In addition, the method used in this socialization activity gives a new color in its delivery to elementary school students. The method used is the observation method, then held a socialization with the students of SDN 05 Bades, Kecamtan Pasirian, Lumajang Regency. The subjects of socialization were 40 elementary school students in grades 4 –6. The result of this service and research is an increase in knowledge of mitigating natural disasters that occur. Students are enthusiastic and interested in this socialization so that they are able to apply the material that has been given when the disaster comes.

Abstract

Farmers in shallots in central locations in Serang Regency are faced with seed problems. The problem of the availability of shallot seeds hampers the planting schedule so that shallot production decreases. One of the solutions offered in this activity is to provide independent seeds provided directly by farmers through seed banks. This activity aims to create a model for the empowerment of shallot farmers with a seed bank system. The methods used in this activity are descriptive and observational methods. The method of observation was carried out directly on farmer groups using a census sampling technique of 65 members of farmer groups. The criteria used in the sampling technique with the limitation that the farmers who will be sampled are farmers who grow shallots for seed purposes. The results of the activity show that the appropriate model for empowering farmers with the shallot seed bank system is the Natura Revolving Seed Bank Model. The in-kind rolling seed model is considered to be in accordance with the considerations because this model has the resilience to roll and its sustainability is guaranteed.

Abstract

The distribution mechanism of the golden melon supply chain in Cilegon City consists of Farmers with Collecting Traders, Collecting Traders with Retailers, Retailers with consumer risks that exist at this level, where traders are fully the responsibility of retailers. the risk faced by traders is the price of the product that goes up and down and when the Golden Melon is damaged and rotten, or is not sold out. The distribution of this Golden Melon supplier is running relatively well, from the farmer level to the product to the final consumer. The collecting traders always prioritize on time delivery and ensure the quantity and quality of Golden Melon, if there is a delay there is usually communication between farmers and traders, so that delays can be tolerated within the previously agreed time period. Information flows of Golden Melon in Cilegon City include Farmers with Collecting Traders, Collecting Traders with Retailers, Retailers with Consumers. The flow of information between retailers and final consumers by Golden Melon in Jombang District is well done. This is indicated by the reciprocal communication between the supply chain actors of Golden Melon, and the trust between merchants and consumers.
